This must be a terrible team to be on, if the leader killed those serving under her just for talking. Ferro was somewhat relieved when he saw a pair of heroes approach the ship. One of whom, at first glance, resembled one of Von Nebula's henchmen. Expecting the newcomers to be treated in a similar manner, Ferro was shocked when the team leader seemed to apologize for being harsh at some point in the past. Maybe the harshness was because Ferro wasn't a team member? Or maybe because he had been carrying a bomb. Yeah, it was probably the latter. Whatever the reason was, Ferro remained silent. IC: Marrow - An Arm For An ArmMarrow twisted its blade hand deeper into Surge's shoulder and threw off the crackling half-sword, but not before feeling the effects of the electricity. Both arms were now running on muscle-power only; the mechanics in them had been shut down. This would mean significantly less slashing power... His hands somewhat occupied, Striker opted for an age old solution. A headbutt. He hoped, it would stun/knock away/knock some sense into his partner. I'll fix up my other post- shouldn't take more editing than changing "Rocka" to "Fortis", hopefully. IC: Orukam Amayika - Panicking Amayika was stuck, and there was no way out. He couldn't move if the Hero he was cuffed to wasn't moving, and even then they couldn't move at a reasonable pace. By instinct, he tried to shrink away when Vex approached, but couldn't do more than hide further behind Striker. When Striker and Vex began fighting, he struggled to stay out of their way. The other Hero was just watching. What kind of joint were they running nowadays?! He couldn't find it in himself to taunt Vex, as afraid for his own life as he was- they'd proved to the guy that he wasn't doing anything, did he just want an excuse to kill?!- and so instead switched back to his Makuro voice. Even if the other Hero knew he was a fake, maybe he'd do something if it sounded like his stupid boss was about to be murdered. "Help me, please!" ~ IC: Ken Render - Astral Medbay He chuckled. "Sorry, pardner. Typically the feet's not where you look for Hero Cuffs. Sure, I can carry you." He reached out to attempt to lift her. Even if he wasn't as strong as Thumper, he could manage one robot, even if with a little difficulty. "Okay," he said with an intake of air. "Me and Flood are ready to go. Are we clear to move out?" GM NPC SURGE Surge ditched the broken sword and grabbed his Breakout Hero Cuffs, trying to affix them to the blade arm digging into his shoulder. The fleshy vessel came to a rest on a large chunk of rubble by the lakeshore, chitinous pseudo-limbs unfolding from the bottom of the craft to serve as landing gear. Pistons of sinew forced open the interlocked plates of carapace at the rear of the ship, and The Creator stepped out onto the uneven rubble, still talking into the comms integrated into his mechanical wrist. "Max Vale, Var Vicious," his mandibles clicking together in irritation, "If I find out that you two are deliberately ignoring me, I might just decide to leave you both behind on this miserable rock." GM NPC VON NEBULA Von Nebula cloaked himself and moved closer to Fravi, but did not risk passing through the laser bars, as that would ruin him. "If I were you, I would beg for a chance to escape instead of sitting in denial." He ignored Weaver as she posed no threat to him, instead settling in the side of the hallway to wait. She was sure this was the villain trying to help Kavok Quake on Mekron, but Thumper probably didn't recognise her- she was busy dealing with the other villain at the time. She was a little glad the villain had been caught, even if she didn't seem as murdery as Quake. Render smirked. "This friend, that was Bulk, right." "Um... No! I mean maybe? Um, yeah... Yeah, it was Bulk." Thumper avoided eye contact, making Render chuckle. "Didn't know you two were friends." "Um, well... He's my friend! I don't know if I'm his friend, exactly, but..." He turned around to Saracen looking at the floor, though, and spoke up. "Hey, Saracen." GM NPC STRINGER "I'm going to go help Surge." He left through the front door. GM NPC BULK Bulk entered the front door, carrying Jet past Render and the other to Heroes. "Good job out there," he said too the group as he passed. He was mildly confused to hear his name mentioned, and turned to Thumper "Say what?".GM IC 78 EAST "My experiment name is 78 East," she said with a sigh. "But you can just call me 78." "I'm not in the habit of indulging villains' personal grudges in the middle of more important things, but since you've decided it was a good a idea to insult me over it, let's go find this stupid ghost." GM NPC VON NEBULA Von Nebula, for his part, decided it was a good idea to be elsewhere. It was clear that Fravi wasn't going to listen to anything he was saying. And while he could overpower Fravi's mind to attack Stormer, that would be no good while she was in a cell. GM NPC BULK Bulk moved on, oblivious. Making it to the med bay, he gently set the injured Hero down. He realized that he was still holding the levitation unit. "I'll be back later, but I've got to help Surge," Bulk said, heading out. GM IC FRAVI "Hey," Fravi said. "Did Traferous really leave? I mean, escape?" GM NPC FORTIS "Like I say, it merits an investigation." He glared at Vex. "Not an instant death sentence." He turned to the other two. "Mara, take point with Stormer and his friend. Ellie, with me, pardner." Quiver meekly stood near the Heroes, rifle in her hands. Thumper led the way into the room.
