A saga started by someone stabbing something is ended by someone stabbing something. How fitting. Although I'm a bit concerned as to what MG/Goggles is doing with his crystal powers in the last few panels.

 

And I'm assuming that Death can just restart his computer. Beautiful "ending", can't wait for (or imagine what) comes next.

Talking to Gav over steam while he was making it, he said to me "there's going to be a special appearance in the comic". I just took a wild guess and said Chilbot thinking I would be wrong (because I usually am when he makes me guess things). Getting it right was my achievement for the day. c:

Just as there are infinite universes and possibilities in one reality, there are a nearly limitless amount of realities. Each unique, each feeding off of the one true reality, without which they would all perish.

Each powered by the most powerful force known to man.

Imagination.

Which are all held in the Void, a space that looks different to everyone. If they can see it, of course.

 

On the subject of reality, it is possible that there were/are others like Gavla elsewhere. The Void is effectively endless, Death could be talking to a human elsewhere. Perhaps they can't see other awake beings in the Void.

 

Death protects the Void because without it, there would be nothing.

 

Fun fact: Life obliterated our universe.

How ironic(and funny, if your think about it). Life is trying to do "good" by defeating Death, but he's pretty much the opposite.
