-==IC: Kairan//Tower of Tyis==-"I won't hold back." Kairan said in confirmation, as he drew his new sword, and then ran forward, ready to pay attention to where attacks were coming from, and respond as such.Just because I can't see, doesn't mean I can't pay attention, and react.

IC: Ring HQToxin seemed much more distant than he normally was. As if he had something on his mind.He was visibly startled when the Rose vanished in a flurry of shadows. He walked over to the strange, green and black being with a sickening aura and sat next to it."Hello?" He said in a curious yet pacific tone.

IC: NPCThe Mechanic chuckled, "That much is obvious what with joining Nikky's team, bet a girl like you could get on any team she wanted. So tell me, why Nikky, was it pity?" The Mechanic asked, genuinely curious.IC: NikaronFor a moment Nikaron's body tensed as he watched the Toa reach for a rifle, but just as quickly the tensing was gone. However in his head his thoughts were racing, Karz man, what were you thinking, just watching a random stranger, well too late to second guess now. "I'm just watching, that's some pretty nice moves you got there. You got talent." Nikaron called back, I sound so stupid. "Name's Nikaron, yours?"

IC: NPC"Potential huh, I've no Nikky for years, and frankly if you ask me he's just too absentminded and well naive to take advantage of such potential. Honestly miss, I've nothing against Nikky, I love him like a son, but what you're doing, well it just seems like a bad bet to me."

IC: NPCThe Mechanic shrugged in return, "Yeah well you'd be the first, but you know it's good for him to have a friends as opposed to spending all his time tinkering. Kid's smart but absent minded, maybe having a friend will give him something to focus on." The Mechanic then glanced down at his watch, "Well look at the time, sorry miss but I have to leave." However one step out the door he turned, "Oh yeah and miss, don't hurt him, or you'll have the wrath of me and many of the other Mechanics to deal with." With that he left the Garage.

IC - Sanshou - Chamber: Sanshou watched Kairan run forward and did not move, even as he hit a wall. She shook her head."Too hasty," she said. "Patience. Anticipate attacks--don't charge into them." She silently sidled toward Kairan, and then swung at him with the flat side of her blade.IC - Hunters and Ring Members - Throne Room: "If such stings were attempted, said Dark Hunter would quickly find himself dismantled on the lowest molecular level and his consciousness transported into a dimension where it would be slowly and painfully devoured," Dalmia answer nonchalantly, twitching the robe-like wings that covered his left shoulder. He gave a short bow to Srizz, not taking his unseen eyes off of the assassin's face, which was reflected in the black viser of his helmet. He seemed to be focused primarily on Srizz for the moment, and as such did not respond to Toxin."That aside, consider my predicament," he said in false sorrow. "There's a fireworks display on the horizon and here I am, stuck trying to make friends with Dark Hunters and other variables. I see no point in attending someone else's party when I could be outside throwing my own." He shook his head, sighing. "Who are you, anyway?"

IC: Calik Raktu - East DistrictCalik stepped fully into the East District, marvelling at the glitz and glamour of this section of the city. Restaurants, casinos, shops, the list went on and on."Well, I don't know about you guys, but I need some new weapons," the Toa said finally, showing them his last two pieces of equipment; his daggers, "You guys can come along if you like."He sheathed the blades, before walking over to the nearest reputable arms-dealership he could find, and stepped in the door, revealing a dark, dusty interior, filled with shelves of weapons, ranging from the mundane, to the utterly insane and exotic."Well, well, well..."-Void

IC: Day Run, Player Lounge Hexxon continued his reading within the darkness of C74, eyes staring at the datapad. The illuminating, soft light of its screen revealed only his face, causing the dark gold Kanohi he bore to gleam at every movement. Rubbing his chin with his fingers in thought, the Team Comet leader scrolled through the information, comforted by the overwhelming shadows and low amount of light.IC: West DistrictSpeeder gliding above the ground, Kaytana began to gradually pick up speed as the distance between her and Theron decreased. She thought at stops, quickly losing her attention on the streets at each one, but keeping a careful eye on the road when moving again. The Skakdi's focus was on that KNPD officer, and the many ways she could get back at him for stopping her. Maybe I'll catch up with that clanking colossus later, Kaytana said in her mind as her vehicle came to slowing halt. I really do need to cause some chaos in this place. It's what I live for!She seemed to snap out of it once it was time to move again.IC: East DistrictWeapon shopping! Greel replied to Calik cheerfully as he showed the two his tools. One of the most exciting types if you ask me. You might not believe what you could purchase here! I've heard all about the range of technology developed on this island...While the robust, teal-armored being followed the Toa of Fire, Rocky sniffed the air. Ignoring all the uninteresting odors floating around, he looked in the direction of a scented trail of food coming from a nearby restaurant. Drawn to the delightful smell, the Rock Lion walked over to the establishment, craving a juicy meal. IC: Ring HQ, Throne RoomAbout half the eyes of all the insects that composed Wasponax were directed on Vailian, while a majority watched Lyccir. The rest glanced around at closeby Ring members and Hunters. They all listened to what he had to say, giving the single mind ideas of the Turaga's story. Thoughts pooling inside the collective consciousness, the Dark Hunter believed that perhaps there had been a mutiny against the Turaga (or perhaps he was a Toa at the time and became the weaker form that he was now) for reasons like not having the wants of his fellows in mind, and replaced and imprisoned for it."I suppose so, given the circumstances -- whatever they were," Wasponax answered. "Just by looking at his position right now, I wouldn't doubt he's ashamed or humiliated right now."He turned to face the Hivena, but not like a normal being. Each individual insect shifted around instead of the head just rotating, creating an short, eerie scene there. Thinking he had figured out the situation, Wasponax changed the subject. ''This is a large bunch of intersting folks you have here. Not quite unlike my people... maybe slightly friendlier.... What's it like day to day here?"

IC: Ring HQToxin moved acroos the room and sat in a vacant chair. He just did not have the mental energy to deal with this.Neglect weighs heavy on the mind...His eyes grew foggy as his mind left the physical plain. He stood on a silver, square platform in a seemingly endless grey void. The only thing other than himself and the platform was a glowing, green sphere that floated above the center of the platform.Toxin stood there cold and alone. He wished he was not alone anymore and at first his prayers were not answered. But after what seemed like a long time, his own shadow grew and spit out a Toa in black armor.Neither beings noticed as a single crack appeared on the sphere.Toxin quickly learned this black armored Toa was mean and not at all want he wanted. Then sometime later a single spore fell on the platform, its presence unnoticed by the two Toa. But as Toxin and the black armored Toa drove each other apart the spore grew.In nearly no time at all the spore had grown into an insect-like Toa in emerald armor. And again the sphere cracked.Toxin was hopeful and tried to befriend this new being but yet again he was denied. He sat on one corner of the platform with tears in his eyes as the two other beings made friends and neglected him. The sphere yet again cracked and this time it also grew dimmer. Now the two other being stood next to each other like good friends and pointed and laughed at Toxin.Toxin now an emotional wreck curled up in a fetal position and cried like a child. This time the sphere fell from its postion and as it hit the platform it shattered into three parts of equal size. One stayed green while one turned jet black and the third became a sickly, pale lime color. The insect-like Toa, murder now in its eyes, turned to the black armored Toa and hit him hard with a few good punchs, knocking him down. Another well placed punch knocked the black armored Toa out cold.He know turned on Toxin brandishing a weapon that it did not carry only moments before.

IC: Srizz | Throne RoomSrizz grinned and whipped out another business plate (his name for the little, metal rectangles with his information embossed) which he extended gracefully to his new acquaintance-to-be. "Srizz ach Del'kai," he explained. "Freelance thief, assassin, saboteur, investigator, spy, enforcer, woodcutter and general stealthy rogue-for-hire. At your service, of coursse." He still liked to throw in the odd hiss to his words. Just for effect. "And you would be...?" Whoever it was, he was beginning to see a resemblance to someone he saw every time he walked past a calm pool of water. Despite the big cloak (wait... was that a cloak?) and visor the resemblance was clear. Another Zyglak offshoot? If so, this party might not be so dull after all. Lyxek was great compared to a lot of bosses, albeit possibly omnicidal, but he didn't seem to put much effort into these little soirees.-=H-D=-

IC: Ring HQ, Throne Room:Djoser watched as Dalmia and a Dark Hunter he couldn't quite remember the name of speaking- judging from how Dalmia was speaking, it was clear he thought himself a higher being than the Hunter. Djoser's mouth thinned into a grim line as he realized that was most likely the story everywhere in the room- every single Ring member believed they were better than the Dark Hunters. Except for him, because he was a Dark Hunter too.He could understand why they might think that, of course, but seeing those he regarded as his closest allies treated so -and without any of them even realizing it- disgusted him. A small tendril of doubt began to drift into his mind about joining the Ring, but he crushed it; trying to quit would do him no good.

IC - Sanshou - Training Room: Sanshou's sword met Kairan's--and then fell to the ground. A moment later she swept at his leg with her foot.IC - Ring Members/Dark Hunters - Throne Room: Dalmia observed--or at least held--the business card for a short moment. Then he crushed it in his palm, the scrunched metal disintegrating into the air a moment later. He gave his own little bow."Dalmia anuch Lhrya'Vaal," he answered, looking back up at Srizz. He paused, his expression hidden behind his helmet. "You aren't a Dark Hunter... I suppose that's not surprising." He crossed his arms, shifting the wings that formed the hood over his head. "What could such a group offer to someone with your skill set?"Vailian shrugged, crossing his arms. "It's an interesting life," he said. "Though, frankly, not a lot happens. We avoid the KNPD. We observe the city. Here and there we'll build a business of some sort. And occasionally we'll find something big to do, like capture Niaka." He smiled slightly, looking at Wasponax. "And, of course, there are times when we break into places of interest. Labs and such. Not unlike what the Dark Hunters do."Kovian and Lyxek's eyes met for a moment. The Ringmaster raised a hand above his head and spun his finger around, sending a light sound across the room--a dismissal for the Ring members and other Dark Hunters, which was picked up and followed a moment later, as everyone but Lyxek, Sepcret, and Kovian began to file out."You seem to have something on your mind," the Ringmaster said. "As if there's something bothering you.""That rose was in the same spot that Ruaki inhabited when he was destroyed," Kovian said after a moment. "I just want to know why that is."Lyxek smiled lazily. "Let's just say that the god you speak of possessed a lot of power," he said. "You know this; you fought it. When his body was destroyed, part of him remained, and it took physical shape. That is the rose." He leaned forward. "It is his spiritual connection to the Feranaki--or what was left of it after Jaeda took hold of it. It's the part of him that controls the Feranaki." He shrugged. "A power I don't necessarily need, but a nice addition to the rose nonetheless..."IC - The Searcher - Northern Barrens: Snow swept against the hull of the Searcher as it continued to lie dormant in the north. As usual, it didn't move.Inside, however, one of the three orbs began to glow a bright red.

-==IC: Kairan//Tower of Tyis==-Kairan was surprised, when he suddenly lost his footing, however, he quickly attempted to activate his mask and spun around; if it failed because of the room's abilities, then at least he wasn't falling on his back, and if it did activate, then he would be able to swing out toward Sanshou quickly.

IC: Srizz | Throne roomThe assassin shrugged. "It's not a bad package," he admitted. "Sure, there's no health or dental, your boss might pair you up with a moron for laughs and you always have to watch your back in case your old buddy decides to leave a knife in it, but I hear the pay's good and the job's pretty steady. But there's something about the freelancer's life that calls to me, y'know? Go where you like, do what you like, maybe kill someone and eat his throat because he looked at you crosswise. Well, okay, I hear the Shadowed One's pretty reasonable about the last one too. But still." He stretched out a bit. With all the people in here it was getting a little stuffy. "How about you? What brings you to the Ring? Aside from the only boss I've seen on this island who isn't a sworn enemy of fun."-=H-D=-

IC: Ring HQToxin, already a mental wreck, was easily defeated by the insect-like Toa.The being then went over to the broken sphere and picked up the pale and sickly lime colored piece and seemingly vanished in a puff of smoke.Toxin was just too sad to do anything and so he slowly drifted off to sleep...Toxin's mind returned to the physical plain as the other Dark Hunters and the Ring members started to leave.Stood up all his joints cracking and popping back into place. He blinked once, his lifeless gray eyes now tinged with lime.As he went to exit the room he saluted Lyxek and Kovian and then waved goodbye to Razor. He then noticed Lyccir and locked eyes with the poor being. He frowned and wondered what this being had done to deserve this... peculiar torture. He stood their and stroked his chin as if he had a beard.

OOC: Could we assume that either a, Djoser hasn't been allowed to go after Vertak, or b, that Lyxed has a plan for him?IC: Djoser, Ring HQ, Throne Room:Djoser remained behind as the Ring members and Dark Hunters filed out, walking over to stand in front of Lyxek."I'd like to go after Vertak and Team Zero now, if you'll let me." he requested. IC: Ring HQ"Then I should feel right at home here," Wasponax replied, directing his form toward the exits. Seeing as everyone -- or almost everyone -- was leaving, he guessed the party was over, though that didn't necessarily mean their conversation was done. Maybe the Rings memebers were all just moving into another room."Say," the Dark Hunter said. "With a life like that, you might know where I could find a successful vehicle shop to purchase a ride, right?"

IC: Calik Raktu + NPC - Kai-Nam/East District/Weapon ShopCalik smiled kindly, while quietly tuning out Greel's ramblings. He honestly appreciated the Toa's enthusiasm, but Calik needed some room to think. He walked among the racks of items, browsing the various weapons, ranging from crude hammers, to hyper-advanced laser-technology.Slowly, he picked up a sword, examining it thoroughly before smiling contently. Next up, he snatched up a large war-hammer, about as long as he was tall, with a large block of protosteel at its head, which was bout the size of his head itself.Walking up to the counter, he laid out the weapons , before handing over almost all of his credits to the clerk. Satisfied with his purchase, he picked up his new toys, and walked back over to Greel."Well, any purchases you need made? I'm paying."-Void

OOC: Snap, I did have a job for you, didn't I? Blah....All right, here's what I'm going to do since that hacker threw off my plans. If you have a Ring or actually-Ring-allied-Dark Hunter character (I.E. not Khad, because he apparently is set to betray them, or Kovian) and want an... interesting job, PM me before the 12th--if all goes as planned, the match will start on the 14th, but I need an idea of how many assets I'll have before it can start.IC - Sanshou - Training Room: The room was dark, it didn't deactivate masks. As such, Kairan's move did work. By that time, though, Sanshou had retrieved her sword and raised it to block the Toa's swing.IC - Vailian - Hall: Vailian nodded, smiling slightly. "You bet I do," he said as they followed the rest of the crowd into the main hall, where the mingling essentially continued, though it was evident that the message was basically that people could do whatever they wanted now. "I'll be heading into City shortly on a mission; perhaps you could assist me and I could show you a respectable shop."As he spoke he moved over to a new being--a Matoran with a bag strapped across his chest. The messenger nodded at the Hivena, pulled a file out of the bag, and handed it to Vailian. The Ring member nodded back and opened it, reading the assignment.Final preparations, he thought. Should be interesting...IC - Dalmia - Hall: Dalmia smiled behind his helmet, his tone cheery as he answered. "Because it's the only faction that is aware of what is going on here." He motioned for Srizz to follow as they exited the Throne Room, leading him down a hall. "I joined the Ring in its infancy. I'm what could be considered an elite within the organization... perhaps more, considering what all I have accomplished..."He paused at a window that overlooked the Barrens. "But that is a story for the future, once things truly get interesting--I can't have things getting spoiled now, can I?" The Ring member chuckled. "Would I be correct to assume that you're a guy with a fondness for fireworks--lots and lots of fireworks?"IC - Lyxek/Kovian/Sepcret - Throne Room: "I do have a job offer for you," Lyxek said, completely unfazed by the fact that Djoser had heard what he had told Kovian. "But it's out in the hall. Same with the others. Take it if you want it."

IC: Djoser, Ring HQ:"Very well." Djoser inclined his head slightly towards Lyxek, nodded to Kovian (whom he faintly recognized but couldn't place a name on), and then left the room to stand a few feet away from Toxin, Dalmia and the others.Gods, roses with powers, Feranaki, whatever those are... this is indeed an interesting place I've come to.

IC: Djoser, Ring HQ:Djoser's eyes narrowed as the new Matoran handed him his own file; once the file was in his hands, he ignored the Matoran and took in the mission within seconds before turning to Toxin and tapping him on the shoulder."You feeling up to a new mission?"

IC: Srizz returned the smile. He somehow had a feeling this one would know it for what it was (i.e. not an 'eat your face' grin). "Already you know me so well," he replied happily and looked out the window, anticipating some fun. He did keep one eye covertly on Dalmia, though (funny, that was a name back home too... a girl's name) since he hadn't gotten this far or survived this long by letting dangerous people stand next to him unobserved. If the Ring wanted to eliminate the witnesses and risk the Shadowed One's wrath, now would be the ideal time. The fireworks would even work as a signal. -=H-D=-

IC: Ring HQ, Hall"Deal," Wasponax didn't hesitate for a moment. This Ring member knew of a place to buy a high-quality vehicle that would aid in his survival here, and had something interesting to do. It was just something he couldn't pass up.IC: East DistrictKaytana rode into East District, drifting deeper into her thoughts when at rest. While she did tell Theron she'd be heading here, the Skakdi had no intention of staying at all. The idea that he might have followed her (due to his suspcious feelings toward her) came to her so, but she ignored it.IC: East DistrictGreel was rummaging through a box of old tools when he heard Calik talking to him. A single dagger interested him, yet he shook his head, dropped it into the container, and placed it back on the shelf. Nope, he said mentally. I guess I have plenty of equipment at the moment.

IC - Dalmia - Hall: "Then you won't be disappointed, say... eight hours or so from now," the Ring member said. The tone his voice carried was ethereal when paired with the black helmet that completely obscured his face. Perhaps that was intentional. "Would you like to see the main attraction?"IC - Vailian - Hall: Vailian nodded absent-mindedly, his expression dropping in spirit for a moment before returning to full energy. He nodded, crushing the message in his hand. "Let's go, then." He led the way out of the hall, toward the front of the Ring headquarters. Exiting, he observed the Barrens for a moment, noting that they were oddly calm before continuing toward City."How good are you at scouting drop zones?"IC - Sanshou - Training Room: "You're learning," Sanshou said, stepping back to avoid the attack. Drawing her sword back, she threw a punch at Kairan.

IC: Srizz | Hall"Don't mind if I do," the assassin replied, his curiosity piqued. That curiosity had gotten him into any number of situations and almost as many payoffs - it was the entire reason he was here. He wasn't going to ignore it now... so long as he kept a knife close to hand. Luckily one of the benefits of being Srizz was that there was always a knife close to hand, no matter where his hands were at the time. -=H-D=-IC: Theron | West DistrictIn fact Theron had not followed the Skakdi away. That would be silly. He stood head-and-shoulders above most of this crowd and his armor made him sound like a tank when he walked. He wouldn't have lasted a minute tailing her. So he contacted a nearby officer and had him do it. The two were in communication now.To say that Theron mistrusted Skakdi would be essentially truthful but gave by far the wrong image. Lots of people mistrusted them for their violent reputation and horrifying looks, but Theron was beyond such superficial matters. He mistrusted them for the same reason Skakdi mistrusted each other: It was in their nature to be untrustworthy. He'd been to Zakaz on a mission years ago, before he became as he was and joined the KNPD. A mission against the warlord Bokrann that had prompted his Toa team to active invasion. He'd seen the truth of Skakdi nature. They weren't just violent, they were bestial. They walked and talked and thought, but they behaved more like mindless rahi, fighting over every pile of rocks, which was about all that remained on the island after the Skakdi themselves had stripped everything else. Given time, they would resort to doing the same wherever they went.He didn't like seeing Skakdi in his city at the best of times, but one who couldn't even feign some regard for its rules and citizens shouldn't even have been allowed through the gates. Between that and her suspicious behavior, he knew it could only be a matter of time before whatever she was up to threatened the city itself. That he would not stand for. =H-D=

IC - Kerid - Office Area Type Thing: As Waiter wandered aimlessly about the hall that led to Kerid's office, a door suddenly opened and the Steltian emerged from it. She was placing her helmet on her head when she noticed the Toa nearby. Shifting her axe, she approached him, slapping a hand on his shoulder before moving past him and into the elevator."If you want to talk, come along," she said. "We need to hurry."IC - Ehjoras - Arena: In a usual scene of technological babble and button-pressing, Ehjoras overlooked the vast Arena from the engineers booth. Before his eyes the terrain of the battlefield was shifting, splitting into five difference environments that seemed to melt together at their edges. Oean, forest, mountain, desert, and volcano emerged from nothing, the nanobots quickly piling up for the match. He shifted his eyes to a set of monitors, making sure that no anomalies emerged. The last thing they needed was another Construct or Virus, especially after the damage that last one had caused to the Arena--on top of what the Searcher had done to City.Looking at another screen, the Matoran couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the number of registered teams, many of which he did not recognize. Hearts, Roll, Shift, King, Sleight.... Something about the participating groups--possibly the sheer number--made him extremely uneasy, though he didn't say anything, instead continuing to prepare.IC - Dalmia - Hall: Dalmia nodded very slightly. "Follow me." He stepped forward, seeming to disappear into the wall. By moving forward himself, Srizz would find himself stepping through a portal, into the snow-covered ground of the Barrens--specifically, directly in front of the Searcher, which loomed in front of them like a mechanical ghost."Ta-da," Dalmia said in that dissonently cheerful tone. "Srizz ach Del'Kai, meet Searcher ach Ring'Constructai. Also Chabri. Or Khazra. Depends on who you ask..."IC - Lyxek/Kovian/Sepcret - Throne Room: As Djoser left, Lyxek looked back at Kovian and Sepcret. "That answer your question?"Kovian looked up at the Toa of Sonics. He observed the Ringmaster's face, his mask--A Kakama, it seems...--his armor, the guitar that seemed to be his primary weapon... Then he glanced about the room, feeling the dark atmosphere that seemed to press upon them from all sides. Toa of Sonics--Kakama--well-armed--a room full of soldiers in the next room--some untold force at work...Even if the odds were more even, possibly even in Kovian's favor, he didn't think he would risk trying to fight Lyxek. Not here. Not now. Regardless of what the Toa seemed to be planning, any act of physical defiance seemed like little more than a death sentence."It sounds like you're planning something to do with the Feranaki or Ruaki himself," the Toa of Ice answered at length. Lyxek smiled, though didn't confirm this. "If that's the case, then you must realize that we can't help you." He motioned to Sepcret and himself, speaking carefully. "Those things have nearly killed us three times now. I won't work with them.""That's fine by me," Lyxek said, shrugging. "I wasn't planning on making you do anything you didn't want to do, you know. You guys sacrificed a great deal to get me the rose; I respect that. What you do next is up to you... regardless of how futile your actions will turn out to be, no matter which way they swing."Kovian stood up, followed by Sepcret. He bowed slightly to the Ringmaster, never taking his eyes off of the Toa. "Thank you for understanding," he said, straightening up. "Now that that's settled... perhaps you would have a few suggestions for activities that would interest two newcomers to Kai-Nam?""Well, you've got 140,000 kas between you," Lyxek said. "Try the Day Run. I'm sure they'd be thrilled to have two of their veteran players back from the abyss. Or you could go for East District; they've got plenty of fun things for people to do."Kovian nodded his thanks, and then motioned for Sepcret to follow him out, allowing her to leave before he did. He glanced back at Lyxek before stepping through the door, catching the Ringmaster's gaze for a split second, green eyes meeting blue. Then the door closed, blocking his view, and he followed the Toa of Ectoplasm, moving through the crowd and heading out toward City.IC - Lurinost - City: A set of large vehicles moved through the streets of City, cutting paths through the citizens who watched the approaching tanks with frightened curiousity. Standing atop the front tank was Lurinost, her armor glinting in the light from above, giving a cold look at the crowds as they passed. The entire time they moved, she spoke, her voice emenating around her in the street."All KNPD officers are hereby ordered to return to the Citadel," she declared, searching the crowd for dissidents--former KNPD members, Guild of Tyis members, Ring members, anyone. "I repeat, all KNPD officers are ordered to return to the Citadel. All who fail to arrive for redeployment within the next four hours will be charged with treason by order of the Director himself..."

IC: Srizz | BarrensThe moment he stepped through the portal, Srizz's wings (having previously sat folded, far to unobtrusively for their size) sprang out and wrapped around his torso in more or less the same manner as Dalmia's. He did not like the cold. He really, really did not like frozen wastes. The worst thing about them was that if you tried to fly away it was almost worse than wading through the snow. Still, he managed to keep his teeth from clattering long enough to give a very impressed whistle at the sight of the... What the heck was that thing? Searcher he called it? Too cold. Ask later."Pleasure to make your acquaintance," he hissed through teeth gritted to keep them from chattering. "I'd shake your hand but I'm not so good with the cold. Also if I went straight through that'd be awkward." He tried to smile. He really, really, really did not like the cold.-=H-D=-

IC - Traxin - Weapon Shop:"Hmm... Nah. That one's nice, but too heavy. I dunno what that even does."Traxin's voice could be heard from a back room. He soon came back out and nodded his farewell to the salesman. The weapons on his home island were very different from those of the rest of the universe, and his worked fine.

-==IC: Kairan//Tower of Tyis==-Kairan simply nodded, listening to the sound of Sanshou's fist flying through the air, and took the blow; however, he grabbed her arm quickly, and aimed a kick at where he figured she was based off of where her arm was.

IC: Ring HQRazor's words were music to his ears. Mainly because missions meant money and that was something that Toxin never had enough of."Of course. I'm always ready to make some more cash." replied the Toa."So what are we doing? Or is it a secret?" He said in a quieter tone.

IC - Dalmia - Barrens: "The Searcher says hello," Dalmia said. He did not seem bothered at all by the cold; either he was used to it, or he had some means of being unaffected by it. Who knew? "Obviously, as a giant mechanical jellyfish powered by the unconscious body of an artificial being, it can't talk. But I tell you this: Soon enough, this thing is going to explode, and bring about something beautiful. That is, unless certain people have some way of stopping it by now. I'm not getting my hopes up for that, as funny as it may be."He stared up at the Construct, the red light inside of it reflecting in the black viser. Arms at his sides, he turned and stepped forward again, back into the portal and reappeared in the hall again, his manner of movement suggesting he had never left at all.IC - Sanshou - Training Area: It was a good thing the former KNPD officer was holding back; otherwise, that Artanian-powered punch would have hurt. Badly. Kairan's foot hit her, knocking her back slightly, and she retaliated by ducking as she aimed to sweep his feet from under him again.IC - Kovian/Sepcret - Leaving Ring HQ: "So what now?"The two Toa had exited the mountain base through the main entry, into the snow-ridden terrain of Kai-Nam. There was no fresh snowfall at the moment, though that did not stop Sepcret from drawing her cloak more tightly closed as they walked and as she spoke. Being a Toa of Ice, Kovian was not bothered by the temperature, allowing his own cloak to billow in the wind as they moved. He was silent for a moment as he contemplated the question."Well, by the looks of it, it appears that most of our teammates are going to be helping Lyxek out," he said. "Whatever authority I held over them during the mission is basically gone at this point thanks to the contract ending..." He shrugged. "We're all free to do whatever we want by now, so I suppose we need to find something.""Let's stop by the Day Run, then," the Toa of Ectoplasm answered. "Maybe Kerid can fill us in on whatever is going on around here.""She or someone else," Kovian said, though nodded in agreement. "South District is supposedly abandoned; let's cut through there. I'd rather avoid any crowds for the time being."

-==IC: Kairan//Tower of Tyis==-Kairan, however, anticipated the move, both by Sanshou's arm suddenly moving downward, and from the earlier success in the move. This time, Kairan hovered in the air, and attempted to swing his sword toward Sanshou once more, aiming to hit her, but holding back, so that he didn't badly injure her if that succeeded.

IC: Srizz | BarrensThe assassin waved briefly at the Searcher and gave a brief smile. "Nice meeting you," he said as quickly as he could without sounding rude, then stepped through the portal after Dalmia. Once he was back in the warm, warm warmth of the warm hall (which was warm) he shook himself off to get rid of the snow that had somehow piled up on his shoulders during the ten seconds he'd spent in the Barrens. "For future reference, I'd appreciate the chance to grab a cloak next time," he remarked once the shivers had worn off. "Also: From long, painful experience I can tell you with absolute certainty that there is always a chance someone will figure out the one weakness, the secret hole in the defenses, et cetera whatever, moments before it's too late. Trust me, sometimes I'm the one doing it. Might wanna take precautions."-=H-D=-

IC: Djoser, Ring HQ:"Come on; I'lll explain on the way there." Djoser responded. "Lyxek knows what we're going to do, and that's enough. Nobody else needs to know for now."Djoser led the Toa out of the Ring HQ; once they were outside, he pointed to the islands they had to go to and spoke again."Unless you have a boat or vehicle, I'll walk and freeze us a pathway over the water." he said.
