  1. because of some discussion over in the Official B2015 Topic today i bring you... more drawings! :U Tahu Lewa Gali Pohatu Kopaka Onua All
  2. So I'm doing this over a phone, so the topic won't be as pretty as usual. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/LogantoTheLeMatoran/Artwork/image.jpg This is Kohnoh, the Toa of the trees. He is a gem knight, in a roleplay Arctic and I are doing. Kohnoh is a slim and nimble archer, probably because he has to be quick and flexible when running and shooting. He is green with the occasional bluegreen plate and wears some kind of fancy Muaka leather in the form of a tunic. He wears an Avsa, the Mask of Hunger, for some reason. Some may say it is a test of his morality. He has equipped with bow and arrows and a small dagger. The string on his longbow has been enchanted to render it unbreakable. The arrows (made of wood) are created by his power of control over plants and the tips can be coated in many plant substances. The dagger is made of vibrating protodermis, making it hot and able to cut very easily through most substances. He wears the Gem Brace, a left-handed armguard that allows Kohnoh to access the full powers of the Gems. Kohnoh is one of those guys who doesn’t like being still for so long and is very active and sociable, along with sly, and greedy. Kohnoh served in the Ranger’s Guild before he was told that he was the descendant of Elysion, one of the Toa, specifically one of the Big Four, that took down the Makuta. He is also the self proclaimed co-leader of the group.
  3. In difficult times with a mad great being running around killing everyone, there are unlikely alliances. Here is my custom team of allies. Formed of two Toa, a surviving Makuta and two members of unknown species. Malakai The leader of the team, Malakai formed the merry band (with great difficulty) to try and survive the conflicts going on currently. Originally serving the purpose of merely serving the Agori villages, Malakai snapped in a fit of rage one day after being injured severely, resulting in the deaths of 400 Agori and his inevitable exile. Many years later, he still promises to pay Raanu a visit, and at last get his revenge. Nowadays, Malakai is a very well known warrior and engineer, he is known for leaving no bodies behind and his custom scope, used to track micro fractures in armour. Makuta Sythodias Not much is known about him, but it is rumored that because of his knowledge of Terridax's plan, he was able to avoid certain death in the swamps of Karda Nui. He only has one regret, not killing his ruthless leader Icarax before. His fighting style consists of horrifying his opponents with nightmarish visions, before swiftly finishing them with his blade. Skakruk The murderous psychotic monster inside the four armed body is not to be messed with. Possessing the ability to track down his enemies expertly and regrow lost limbs, Skakruk is a force to be reckoned with. They say his stare is like a thousand lave eels crawling under your armour. To bad nobody has lived long enough in his hunt to find out. Toa Damarus The former leader of a legendary team of Toa, Damarus was shunned by many after a catastrophic failure resulted in the death of most of his team. His form of combat is a strange one, consisting of only the use of his elemental powers and no tools or weapons for defense. He still wears his armour given to him by the most talented Matoran, as a reminder of his glory days. Now the armour slowly fades in colour, with his regret building up each day. Toa Komek Komek is usually quiet and reserved in between battles. In the middle of a heated fight, he is a completely different story. He becomes a raging motormouth with multiple personalities and a wide range of fighting styles, adapted with his fire sword skills, which he gladly demonstrates on enemies. Because of this, Komek has accidentally killed a few of his foes in cold blood, causing him to be more feared by the Matoran he swore to protect. Nobody knows what is more scarred, his body or his mind. He is now a member of this group, as he has nothing left except to find meaning in death.
  4. Vote! Please note that, while Su-Matoran's gender has not appeared in any official media, they were confirmed as male by Greg previously. He may not approve even if we do, but this poll is to decide whether we should send it along. EDIT: From the other topic: Dark Mirror ( chapter 8):Quote " I'd like you to also mention that not everyone agrees with this, Liuth and I have explicitly said this in this thread but we don't know who else thinks this way. Maxim and Voxumo suggested doing a poll, that would give us an idea of what people think about this proposal. That should give a slightly better idea of what Greg will see. (Though they should fix the OGD quote, but whatevers. )
  5. I built this MoC a LONG time ago and decided to just now post it. I just now named him Arion and he's a Toa of Sonics. I don't have a story, I just wanted to create a green, silver, and white toa because the colors look good together. This is the Gen 1 version and I'm currently working on a Gen 2 Update for him. Keep in mind that this was built at least 4 years ago. http://s295.photobucket.com/user/tititosaurus/library/Bionicle%20MoCs?sort=3&page=1 PLEASE give me feedback, good or bad, I just want to get better at MoCing!
  6. The teaser trailer for my new series is here, coming this fall to Youtube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBAGARpC1SY
  7. I know, I know. There's literally no CCBS on this thing. But, I figure, there's no established style for mechanized suits of armor in Bionicle 2015, so who's to say what an Exo-Toa-type construct would look like? Plus, it's a robot. Robots have pistons and ridges and hoses. That's not to say it's completely out of line with Bionicle 2015. The sets have gear functions again, as does the Exo-Toa here. There's a gear that opens the cockpit, situated on the lower torso: http://i.imgur.com/7hGKSBZ.jpg The right arm, in lieu of a "boxing claw", this Exo has a spinning claw hand (demonstrated via GIF): http://i.imgur.com/tfTFoki.gifv And the left arm is multi-shot "electro-rocket": http://i.imgur.com/cbAgdxn.jpg Also, because I don't where else to include it, here's the cockpit sensors and whatnot: http://i.imgur.com/cRxsTP1.jpg And, of course, a Toa can control it. Here's Tahu demonstrating, as is customary for Tahus: As far as I'm aware, Tahu and Pohatu can man it comfortably. Here's the new compared with the old: And the album with some higher resolution pictures: http://imgur.com/a/8wAtj
  8. Hi, guys. I am wondering who would lead the team of the Toa Masters. In the episode 7 of the Bionicle webisodes, when the Toa are gathered at the entrance of the city of the Mask Makers, Tahu said that the prophecy said that he can become the leader once the Toa are gathered (I don't think it says that). However, Kopaka refuses, so Tahu and Kopaka fight each other. After Gali and Onua stopped them, Tahu said they still need a leader. Gali started an election to choose who would lead the team. Lewa joking voted for Onua. Since Pohatu interrupted because he noticed the approach of the Lord of Skull Spiders, the election had been stopped and the Masters didn't continue it. So, who do you guys think would lead the Toa? For me, I pick Tahu and Onua, my favorite characters coincidentally, as my candidates because: 1. Tahu was primarily focused in the episodes 2-6, the majority of the websiodes. Usually, when one of the team members gets focused more on the sorry, he or she gets to become the leader. Tahu even told Onua to finish off the Lord of Skull Spiders. 2. Onua made wiser ideas and is more resourceful than the other Masters. He stopped Tahu and Kopaka from fighting, and Lewa voted for him because of that. Onua told his comrades to work together to defeat the Lord of Skull Spiders. And also, Onua told them that the Golden Masks of Power can lead them to Ekimu's resting place. So, these two are my best candidates. However, I would choose Tahu because it would feel classic if he did that because of G1, and he is like one of the most iconic main characters. It would be cool if Onua would lead the team because he is like the big guy in the team. It wouldn't feel classic, however. It would also be cool if both of them could lead. Also so, as I said above, who do you think would lead the team?
  9. NOTE: I have built MOCs of the Shadow Toa, which can be found here: http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/15347-the-shadow-toa/ Review thread here: http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/15352-review-trials-of-the-shadow-toa/ Chapter 1 He awoke to the sound of water lapping on a shore. The sound made him feel at peace, as though nothing could go wrong with the world. Then he tried to move, and excruciating pain shot through every molecule of his being. He felt his muscles, his organs, all soft tissue in his body dissolve. A horrid scream erupted from his metallic mouth as his body writhed in the sand. Finally, the convulsions ceased, the pain left as quickly as it came. Gingerly, the suspicious being tried to move his index finger. The appendage obeyed it's master's commands with no trouble. Odd, he thought. Deciding that laying on the sand wouldn't give him answers, he stood up. There remained not even a clue to indicate the torture he endured, save the fact that his whole body now felt...different. When he raised his arms, he no longer felt a muscle flex, but a hinge creak and a piston hiss. Realizing he could find no more answers about what happened to him, he decided to scan his surroundings to see where he was. On the shore about twenty paces away was a gold-colored kanohi. Noticing for the first time that he wasn't wearing a mask, he walked over to it, his stride wobbly and awkward. Another oddity, he thought. I don't remember having such long legs. He bent to pick up the mask. Come to think of it, I don't remember anything. He donned the mask, and felt energy surge through his body. This is more my style, he thought with a grin. Now, let's see what else is here. Seeing nothing else in the immediate area besides some flying rahi, the newly masked being strode along the coastline. He noted that since he donned the mask, he walked with ease, as though he had long legs his whole life. After about ten minutes of walking, he spotted a badly damaged cage smashed against a large rock. Upon inspection, he found a plate on what he could only assume was once the door that had on it the word "Nulehk". Nulehk. Hm. Seems to me that word is familiar. A name, perhaps? He turned the plate over in his hands, and found the image of the mask he wore carved into the metal. My name? He contemplated the word. "Nulehk. Noo-leck". He thought his voice sounded strange, but the word seemed right. Nulehk it is, then. Feeling like the island he was on was potentially dangerous, Nulehk grabbed two bars from the cage and walked inland. * * * * Kotan walked up the mountain, head groggy and full of dark memories and images. He hated it here, a barren place with sand and rocks everywhere. Not a single tree in sight on the whole island. He didn't even know why he was climbing the mountain(which was becoming more and more apparent was a live volcano), except for the feeling of high altitude winds. Kotan tried to shake the clouds from his mind, but couldn't. "Think, Kotan", he said to himself as he sat down on a rock to rest. "You are a Toa. Of air, by your armor color. You were given a special task...and you somehow woke up in a pile of metal scraps on this barren wasteland. And you developed a habit of talking to yourself. Or have you always done that?" He sighed as he could remember no more. "At least I remembered my name", he chuckled. "Talking to oneself is difficult when one doesn't even know their own name." He continued his ascent. * * * * The Toa grunted as he hefted his warhammer out of the mess that used to be a young Tahtorak. Rage burned within his very being, odium at the world in general. He hated that he was here, on this hot, rocky island. He hated that all he could remember were three names. He hated most of all, though, that he couldn't tell which one was his, or if any were at all. Nulehk, Mutran, and Outa. Each seemed familiar and foreign at the same time. He looked down at his hands. They were dark blue. That makes no sense. I'm a Toa of water? I thought they were only female. He looked out to the sea. It won't hurt to try, I guess. He lifted his hands and concentrated on the water, not entirely sure how a Toa uses their elemental energies. Suddenly, his arms burst with sky-blue and black crackles of energy, and a spire of ice shot out of the ocean. Close, he thought. This still doesn't explain who I am, how I got here, or why there's a broken cage here. Calming himself, he put away his hammer and shield. I guess until I learn more, I can call myself Ko-Toa. After all, I must have been a Ko-Matoran once, right? Ko-Toa was not entirely convinced of that theory.
  10. Little early on this one. Takanuva and company will be up sometime tomorrow. Here's Toa Tamaru, Toa of Air. Tamaru's mask was changed by his Toa transformation into a Great Mask of Airwalking, a mask that creates short-lived platforms underneath the wearer's feet, cushioning falls and allowing the user to walk on air. Tamaru is armed with two Air Elemental Launchers, weapons designed by a Nynrah Ghost who extensively studied the Thornax Launcher. Elemental Launchers only work for Toa, Matoran, or Turaga because they drain the user's elemental energy to fire it in a condensed sphere. The air variety can charge its spheres with bolts of lightning on launch. Tamaru also has small jets and wings on his body, improving his gliding capabilities. It took me quite a bit of posing to get his shoulder armor to fit properly on the hinges. This one went through quite a few redesigns and recolors until I got it to where I liked it. Am I getting better? Up next- A photo of the whole team together, as well as the Matoran.
  11. http://mate397.deviantart.com/art/Ahkmou-Toa-of-Shadow-and-Rahkshii-of-Silence-531747875 *During his travels Takanuva has seen many strange worlds and old friends along with foes, but one was very different from most of those encounters. He once arrived in a world where he was greeted by unfamiliar Toa, yet his voice was familiar and in his company he had a Rahkshi with him, it was the one that utilized silence as it's weapon. The unknown Toa had a staff as a weapon one that had Makuta written all over it. "You don't recognize me Takua?" the shady Toa asked in a mocking tone while his Rahkshi was moving into position. "Have we met before?" the Toa of Light asked, he asked a little confused after all what he has seen, he can't tell who this could possibly be. "Vakama must have mentioned me or someone else perhaps." he said as he tightened his grip on his staff. Takanuva didn't recall any Toa that looked like him, unless it wasn't a Toa back then "Ahkmou?" he asked, not believing it, but he had no better guess. "And we have a winner!" he laughed, mocking him a bit more. "Now Toa of Light, kneel before the Shadows of Makuta or perish!"* Now before people start going for the comment section about the color, hear me out first. Since there was an Ahkmou Toa of Shadow planned as an actual set in 2008-ish which got cancelled for one reason or another, I thought I try my interpretation of the traitor Matoran. Now, since the Toa of Light is bright, shiny and gold it would make sense to make the Toa of Shadow be it's near photonegative, dark and shady. As for the mask, I wanted to seem more Makuta-like (I mean look at Onua Mistika's Pakari, it totally looks like a prototype for the '03 Makuta). As for the Rahkshi I wanted to make him feel more like an assassin, since it uses silence, it would make it a perfect killer, and a staff weapon wouldn't be too good of a choice, so I gave him tonfas to use. The spikes on the back are supposed to be antennas that nullify all sound so the Rahkshi can do it's mission. 12. The LEGO Club magazine for May-June has been released, and there's an interesting two pages (12-13) that go over some stats for each Toa. I thought I'd do everyone a favor and post them here. Tahu: Power - 9 Agility - 8 Special Abilities - 6 Intelligence - 7 Weaponry - 6 Fear Factor - 5 Luck - 10 Pohatu: Power - 9 Agility - 7 Special Abilities - 7 Intelligence - 7 Weaponry - 6 Fear Factor - 4 Luck - 6 Onua: Power - 9 Agility - 6 Special Abilities - 8 Intelligence - 9 Weaponry - 6 Fear Factor -3 Luck - 6 Gali: Power - 7 Agility - 7 Special Abilities - 5 Intelligence - 9 Weaponry - 6 Fear Factor - 3 Luck -7 Kopaka: Power - 8 Agility - 7 Special Abilities - 7 Intelligence - 8 Weaponry - 6 Fear Factor - 4 Luck - 7 Lewa: Power - 8 Agility - 8 Special Abilities - 4 Intelligence - 5 Weaponry - 7 Fear Factor - 6 Luck - 5 It looks to me like Lewa got the short end of the stick, here. Also, does anyone have an idea as to what "Fear Factor" means? Go on, discuss these stats below! I'm thinking of adding a poll, but I'm not sure. If anyone feels like it would work, go on and tell me. Thanks.
  13. Previously, I started a poll about which Toa had the best set (http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/18251-which-winter-2015-sets-are-best/). Now, I ask you this: whose personality do you want expanded upon most? Out of all our beloved heroes, who do you believe deserves the most fleshing-out of their character? Who has the most potential? I'll list the Toa and their bios according to Bionicle.com, so you know who and what you're voting for. Tahu: Kopaka: Onua: Pohatu: Gali: Lewa: I personally that Kopaka wins here. Whether that's me saying that because he really deserves it, because he's so like me, I don't know. What I do know, however, is that someone who appears cold due strong morals doesn't appear in just any story. Normally, you see morally just people as exuberant, and extroverted, not reserved and socially outcast. This is a very good change to gen1 Kopaka's character, in my opinion. What do you think? Vote and feel free to explain your answer below; I'm looking forward to reading your answers! Okay, maybe I should point this out. The poll serves as a sort of record, but the answers could really be interesting if you fleshed them out in the comments. I see two people want Lewa's personality to be expanded on... would either of you care to explain why?
  14. NOTE: I know that I post it here far late, and I know that I have uploaded pics to flickr and submitted to BZPower group in flickr long ago. This is not the most sensible way to do it, post it here late. The reason why I haven't post it here for 3-1 week(s) is that I have been drained and have been busy at college. Most of a time I have time to upload the images to flickr and dA, uploading video takes some time, but posting to the forums takes a lot of time, so my apologies for that. I'm posting now rest of my revamped Toa Okoto, that being, Lewa, Onua and Tahu. I know this may be spamming, but I want post them so that I have my own time to do something else than sitting here and writing stuff. Hello people (yet again)! And you guess it what I'm going to show ya, here we have, The Sleepy Giant itself, Onua, Master of Earth (2.0 version)! More pics: https://www.flickr.com/photos/114946327@N08/sets/72157649173800084/ Video review: So, how should I say about sleepy philosopher hulk here? Well, obviously, he has a lot of details on everywhere. He's a bit bulkier, especially the trapezius area are a bit bulkier than previous version of my revamped Onua. Well, there are no tools and weapons also. I removed quake breakers, pickaxe, club (weapon type), and those claws also. Now it has a hammer, an EARTHQUAKE HAMMER! Good Mata Nui, good thing is that I have built it quickly so it didn't take like IT'S OVER 9 000(!) minutes, hours, days or years! Obviously, I'm really happy that this is much better than the pre-redesign version of Onua. I have seen some people revamping their Onua into silver or gold, and I mean the armor add-on parts, those new vahki armor parts. Honestly, they're not bad, but I found out that they're a bit boring in my taste. I think with gold and silver makes Onua so catchy looking Toa. Overall, I'm happy that I didn't have to build the torso build this year, that would be pain in a butt.
  15. Made my own version of Pohatu, Master of Stone. (Gallery) Part of the same series as my Lewa, Master of Jungle. (Link to lewa). I've been working on this on and off for the past few days. Fun fact: There are 16 ball-and-axel hole pieces used in this figure. A look at the Torso without any armor: http://i.imgur.com/VqZEBFF.jpg Its actually funny, because most of the torso just rests on the technic holes of the waist. You'd think it wouldn't be connected, but the section of the torso with the bohrok eye pieces is connected to the waist and holds the rest of the torso down and keep it all together and sturdy.
  16. http://imgur.com/a/af80B Not much for me to say here, I explained the functions over on Imgur. This model holds all of the new Toa Okoto. I actually had this complete about a month ago, but buddy over on Bricklink decided to mess up my order for the last Bohrok shield I needed and I'm already working on a better version, but at least everyone can see the first version
  17. So, finally I made revamps of all Toa, because for me there was few things to fix. I was trying to not making too big changes and left them as much original as I could. Big gallery: http://imgur.com/a/g7Acj Gali: - silver torso changed to gunmetal version,- gunmetal shells from arm changed to blue shells,- yellow pieces in axe changed to one gunmetal piece, and gold spear added to top of axe,- silver axe blades changed to gunmetal blades from Lewa, Tahu: - red mask changed to trans-orange mask,- silver foots changed to gold foots,- added red calf,- shorter legs for better fit to foots,- silver hands changed to trans-orange hands,- changed red simple torso to red detailed torso, Lewa: - changed green simple torso to green detailed torso,- rebuild of his axes (now it looks like axes), silver blades from Gali,- silver foots changed to green foots,- little shorter arms, Onua: - rebuild of his maul,- moving shoulders rebuild to stiff version,- silver torso changed to purple detailed torso,- extension to bones removed, and added longer bones instead of that, Pohatu: - silver shells from legs and arm changed to brown/dark orange shells,- silver hands changed to black hands,- longer legs,- silver armlet added to left arm,- trans-lime bones changed to black bones, Kopaka: - spear silver blade changed to ice blade,- shield new mount to hand, new position of shield,- silver torso changed to white detailed torso,- yellow gear rack changed to white gear rack,- trans-blue hands changed to white hands,- foots changed to Mata foots,- more slim calfs, Fight!
  18. I know this may be spamming, but I want post them so that I have my own time to do something else than sitting here and writing stuff. Hello people! I'm very sorry that this came far late. Originally I wanted to post it her a week ago, but turned out that I have been tired and the college also. Well, anyways, I'm going to show you ladies and gentlemen, last but not least, The Leader of Toa Okoto himself, Tahu, Master of Fire (2.0 version)! More pics: https://www.flickr.com/photos/114946327@N08/sets/72157651207928040/ Video review: Okay, so obviously, he's radically different than the pre-redesign version of him. Mainly the upper torso area is dramatically different, There are no more smoke stacks (god I miss them), the reason why I removed them, because I wanted originally to keep smoke stacks, angled approximately 45-50 degree angle. But it turned out into impossible challenge due to the new torso look. There are only three pieces that are painted in red, 3-armor part and two beast feet in red color. Yes I know that it is kinda cheating, but honestly it was the cheapest way to do it. I could order 3-armor part in red from bricklink, but I have no experience about it. I know that those red beast feet are available one of the chima sets, something like a bird flying plane thingy (yeah I can't remember the name of it because I'm lazy to search the name for it), unfortunately it is kinda expensive set, and allow me to explain. I live in Scandinavia country, in Finland, so let's compare here that set costs $20 and that is in euro ~18.50€. How about oppositely, here, it costs 25€ and it converts into about $27, $7 expensive here! Now, in a conclusion, I'm pretty happy that I revamped Tahu from pre-redesign into much better looking Toa. The whole point was to give more leader-ish personality and look, the previous version was okay, but it wasn't leader-ish enough. Well, I'll soon post protectors, but they just have just a minor revamp, two of them has revamped torso while the rest of them has revamped weapons. But, that's about it!
  19. So, the other day, my brother and I bought Kopaka, Pohatu, and the PoE, and this broght up a thought I'd had upon first seeing the new figures. Now, notice the coloration of some of the sets. We see the characters of Ice and Water having trans-blue limbs, the Stone characters having trans-lime, and the Protector of Fire having trans-red hands. Now, some of you may remember a theory back in the Glatorian Era which suggested that the Spherus Magna inhabitants had skin colors that matched that of their heads (these were not Tribe-specific, as we saw Perditus having a green head despite being Fire, and Vastus not matching Tarduk or Gresh). So, what if that is how it works in the new line? The transparent bones could be representative of their skin underneath the armor, if they are, indeed, mostly organic. This means that if Kopaka removed all his armor, he'd be almost entirely blue, Pohatu would be lime green, and Onua would be purple. EDIT: I have a new addition to this theory! With the revealing of the summer sets, we see many more transparent bone pieces as well as what appears to be actual bones. These figures, based on the animation, seem to be undead--reanimated corpses of the inhabitants of this world. The key part here is the bones--the new parts that actually look like they might be part of a human skeleton. This seems very indicative of an organic structure that has rotted away over time. They also have some transparent bone pieces, which could very well be bits of decaying flesh still hanging on as the corpse rots (or flesh growing back as the being returns to life). Thoughts? Theories? Theatrics? (I realize this is based around the sets, and so could belong in BD, but since it deals more with representing the in-story characters, I feel it should be welcome here.)
  20. NOTE: I know that I post it here far late, and I know that I have uploaded pics to flickr and submitted to BZPower group in flickr long ago. My apologies for my lateness, I have been busy, yet again. But now, shall I introduce to you ladies and gentlemen, The Daredevil itself, Lewa, Master of Air ... I mean Master of Weed (Smoke weed everyday)... D'oh! I mean Lewa, Master of Jungle (2.0 version), finally the correct term! More pics: https://www.flickr.com/photos/114946327@N08/sets/72157651512729095/ Video review: So, here we have him in his revamped form. Now obviously, I removed from previous version of Lewa. I removed jungle leaves and other plants, mushroom also, because it didn't catch 2015 Lewa look. Also I changed the feet design, the previous version of Lewa had "high heels", which was too inappropriate. also the loin cloth, dear Mata Nui, it was too inappropriate and people said some PINGAS jokes. So I decided to remove it. Also I painted those #3 armor parts and the stomach area into green, but it''s a bit darker comparing to the lighter green color. In an end result, this Lewa is much better than pre-redesign version of himself. Mainly it was far from 2015 Lewa version, so the idea was to keep the original look. But I'm still happy that I change the look of it.
  21. Hey, everypony! Sorry, brony reference. Anyway, after digging through this site I've found out how to start a new topic, so I wanted to discuss my theory. I think that Lewa has been made a Toa of plantlife in the 2015 reboot, or "The green" as the Matoran used to call it. Speaking of Lewa, do you think that the new Toa will get Nuva forms in 2016, or will it just be new enemies from here on out?
  22. A Toa version of the Matoran Kapura from the original series. Armed with two catch swords capable of launching bolts of fire. Toa Kapura wears a Mask of Confusion, a corruption of his powerless Noble Ruru created by the insane Great Being on Bota Magna. The Mask of Confusion has the ability to cause headaches and mental confusion among targets, but only for a short moment. This is not the Kapura from The Kingdom alternate universe, rather a fanfic-based custom creation where the Chronicler's Company become Toa after the reformation of Spherus Magna. This design is based off of the 2015 edition of Tahu, and was made using LEGO Digital Designer. If there's a demand for it, I'll upload the saves.
  23. Hi! This is my first post, so I want to tell something about myself also. I'm BennyPL, Bionicle fan from Poland. I'm also the fan of LEGO in general, Transformers, SW, and many other things. I'm a youtuber, have a channel called "Plastikowy Świat Benny'ego" which means "Bennys Plastic World". I'm doing toys reviews, mostly Transformers and other figures I collect, and LEGO stuff. Sometimes I talk about movies, comics and geek culture in general. Everything in polish, but today I want to share something also with the foreigners This is my first english video, but there's no much to talk. Just a let's build and presentation of my newest MOC, Sharaka, Toa of black fire. Enjoy it! Sharaka - Toa of black fire. He's the member of the ancient Toa team, Toa of fire. Unbridled and unpredictable, just like his element. He loves black humour, and to burn down and destroy his opponents, which makes him extremely happy in sadistic way. The defence of the Matorans and other weak beings was just an add on to the brutal play. The Brotherhood Of The Makuta wanted to make him their ally, and sucked all of his inner light using their dark powers. The result of the experiment however was a surprise for them. Sharaka have become even more out of control. His new, darker nature plunged him in the madness. He left his fellow Toa and Makuta also, started to burning down everything around him using black fire, his new power combined of the elements of fire and shadow. He loves to destroy, and doesn't have any scruples. His only friend and desire is chaos. Personally I find him the Joker of the Bionicle world.
  24. Whew, flexing my topic-making muscles for the first time in a while here. So from what I understand, the Toa are basically superior to the Glatorian both in terms of physical strength and in terms of powers (considering the Glatorian have no natural powers of their own). After the MU and Spherus Magna societies have integrated into one society, what would be the place of Glatorian in that society? If the Toa are basically superior in every way, what role can the Glatorian even take? Would they simply become regular citizens? Or would they become lower-level guardians, maybe law-enforcement, while the Toa become more of a military power? I can't imagine that both the Glatorian and the Toa would be on the front lines together simply because of that huge power difference. Or maybe I'm over-analyzing and there would be no societal effect at all. Thoughts?
  25. Okay, I've got this totally crazy theory about how the classic Bionicle and the new one are linked. Bionicle G1, as we know, was a multi-year toyline made by Lego. It had an original story beginning with elemental heroes battling the evil Makuta in order to save their island home. Bionicle G2 might seem at first to have a completely different story. But in fact, it's ALSO based on a toyline made by Lego! Additionally, it's ALSO about elemental heroes (who even have the same names!) fighting an evil entity, also named Makuta, to save an island! Some of the details are different (mask powers, the name of the guardian entity the heroes hope to revive, the specific foes Makuta enlists to fight the Toa), but the core storyline is clearly very similar. Now this might sound insane, but bear with me. What if the new storyline is a REBOOT of the classic storyline, which carries over elements of the original to tell a new story for a new generation? That would perfectly explain the shared elements of the two storylines, while also accounting for the differences between them! There are some definite clues that this theory might be correct. For instance, at the Bionicle 2015 reveal at New York Comic Con, the Lego representatives at hand stated early on that the new story was a reboot, without any qualifying statements attached that might suggest an alternative meaning of the term. Greg Farshtey, the writer of the original Bionicle story, also claimed that the new line was a reboot of the original story. While neither of these hints are definitive (after all, it's not unheard of for writers and creative professionals to lie to the faces of their most fervent fans), when combined with the similarities and differences in the two storylines it seems to be a plausible theory. But this is all speculation. What do YOU think of the possibility of a "reboot" of the classic storyline? Feel free to share your thoughts along with evidence you might have noticed yourselves!
