RahiSpeak Posted December 14, 2015 Share Posted December 14, 2015 (edited) Ever look closely at a Skull Spider? Did you notice that circle on their forehead? It is also on the foreheads of all of the Skull villains. I used to think that this was just what skulls in Gen2 looked like, but it turns out that this medallion-shaped feature is also on the foreheads of the Mask of Creation, the Mask of Control, and even Umarak the Hunter. However, you will not find it on the masks of the Protectors, Masters, or Uniters or on the heads of the Creatures. Does anyone have any theories on what this thing is? Xboxtravis Posted December 14, 2015 Share Posted December 14, 2015 Yeah, it is just a molding mark; and all the 2015 masks have this, it is just the others have the circular part hidden in their mouth pieces instead of on their forehead like the skull villains have. After a basic shape is made they would go to work on subtracting or adding to parts and details. This applies to the the spiders too, being legged skulls that live to force themselves into the living's faces. Quote Elemental Rahi in Gen2, anyone? Or simply parallel them with a slightly new 'twist'! Gen 2 is NEW, it is NOT Gen 1 and it is NOT a continuation. Outside of the characters we already have I personally don't want to see ANY old characters return. I think it will cheapen the whole experience to those of us familiar with the original line... Most of the Toa's masks have the injection point on the mouths. But the skull masks (and Mask of Creation, and Umarak's mask) have details there, so the injection point goes on the forehead instead.
