These New Updates

Head spin they my make. Are awesome confusing, are but they. I'm having trouble posting stuff for some reason, but aside from that I think the updates rock.   I went to see Die Hard 4 yesterday. WOO! Bruce Willis rocks.

Comic Book Ritual.

I believe I have found a new ritual to perform while at Cape Cod. When I was little, my dad bought me two Superman comic books from the Stop and Shop on Cape Cod, though I can't remember what issues they are now... I still have them, though. And last year I bought a ton of Civil War Marvel comics from a store in Brewster (located very near the Cape). And now, I've purchased several comics. I'll start with the best.   Detective Comics issue #833: This is brilliant. A brilliant, brilliant plot wi

Cape Cod

Two and a half days since my last Interweb fix, folks. Now, I'm on Cape Cod. I vacation here every year, around the 4th of July, with my family. My cousins from South Carolina come, my cousins in another region of Massachusetts come, my grandfather comes (and my grandmother and my uncle visit once or twice), my aunt and uncle from Colorado come, and we coexist in one house for a week. Awesome. This year, my aunt and uncle brought along my uncle's daughter (from a previous marriage, my aunt is my

Comics, Comics, Comics.

Sorry I haven't been around lately. Most of my time, I've been reading comics, reading graphic novels, reading comic books, reading up on comics, and most importantly, watching shows based on comics. After I watched Superman: The Animated Series Season 3 several weeks ago before I got out of school, I decided I wanted to get the other two seasons. The biggest reasons being several episodes. The first season two-part episode 'The Main Man' is a hilarious one featuring Lobo, a lot of cool aliens,

Canobie Lake Park

I went there Friday on a field trip. It was extremely awesome. It's a park, by a lake of course, and it has dozens of great rides. I traveled around the park and went on a few, obviously. My favorite was the Extreme Frisbee, a ride with a large disc with seats in it, that swings back and forth 180 degrees while the disk spins around as it goes up and down. Man. That was GREAT. Also, the Turkish Twist was fun. It's a ride where you stand against the wall and the ride begins speeding up, and you'r

Woo!

So, no more homework... I brought home a bunch of my books, and today was really just a breeze... Man... I can't believe seventh grade is over so soon... Just one and a half days left of school...     Also, is nobody else gonna comment on my last entry? I'd really appreciate comments...     Speaking of dreams, I keep having superhero related dreams. They just appear randomly. And somethimes they're not even real, just spat up from my subconscious. Now, if I could remember these heroes, I could

Weirdest Dream Ever

Okay, so last night I dreamed I died and went to The Place That Isn't Heaven. I freaked out at first, but began adapting to the place. A lot of my classmates were newly dead, too. Dunno why. Some of them concocted a scheme that thought that Satan and the Underworld weren't real. I joined them in on the plot. One of them drove a car down a road, to a mall I think, for some reason. It was led by a pair of people who actually tended to work together as partners in the real world. It ended up failin

Last Week Of School

Woo. I'm way overburdened, though. Lots of work to do. Tests and whatnot. Agh. However, on Friday, our grade will go to Canobie Lake Park, a great place with tons of rides and stuff. I've been there, it's a wonderful park. And then Monday it's just a half day of school. WOO!   I'll be busying myself by getting books out of the library and rereading my books and rereading webcomic archives... And drawing... And using the computer... And taking walks... And writing letters to my relatives... And

Hot Dog Blister

So today my mom was helping out the church with operating a stand selling food, to make money. It was a complete downpour, though my dad took me and my sister there. I got a hot dog, along with some chips. However, I discovered a discolored spot on my hot dog. Upon prodding it, I saw it was some sort of blister-like pocket of fluid. Thusly, I had it popped. The downpour drove us inside, where I proceeded to remove the part of hot dog with the blister thing's remains. I put ketchup on the rest of

Oh My Head

Wow, Paris Hilton's been zooming in and out of trouble lately... Man, is there no end to it? Just saying...   My day's been hectic. Yesterday was too. Yesterday I had to write an essay, finish a test (didn't get that done) and go to an appointment (the reason I didn't get it done, because I forgot I had the appointment and stayed after to finish the test) and more. My braces still hurt plenty. Today I finished a math quiz, wrote another essay, caught up on a bunch of Social Studies homework I w

Ouch

I got my braces yesterday, and they hurt. Bad. Very bad. It took about two hours to get them on... I got to sleep in since I was having the day off (my teeth would be hurting pretty bad after the operation)... I found out there's a bunch of foods I can't have, and I'm ticked... And I also can't have much Diet Coke, or soda in general, since chemicals in it weaken the cement holding my braces to my teeth. Nutttts.   And it hurts still. I'm taking Tylenol and stuff, but it still hurts. Even soft

Oh, How Adorable

Well, yesterday, when my mom was driving my dad and I home from town, I found a piece of paper tucked into the spot where the cupholder can retract to when I put it up, and I unfolded it. It looked like my sister's handwriting, on it. It said:   Jesus loves me, yes he does, but he HATES Jackie.  And on it was a crude drawing of somebody, who I figured to be this Jackie person. I showed the picture to my mom, and she laughed extremely hard. Apparently this Jackie girl was somebody who insulted

Conspiracy!

I was thinking, earlier today, and I realized something: World War III may have already occured and we don't know it. Technology and strategy and politics and the internet and war have become so interwoven that we may have just had WW3.5, and we aren't aware of it because it's being fought in a whole different way.   That clerk at Wal-Mart who hands you your change back funny! He may be the leader of a world wide conspiracy and he isn't even aware of it! Just by pressing one button on the regi

I watched Terminator 3 with my dad last night. We had fun watching it, and laughed at the funny parts. It was nice to watch it with him. I had to get my homework done to watch it with him, also.   Today at school, my day was alright. I had math first class, but the double period was cut short by about thirty minutes when we went to the auditorium for certain people to talk about these photos we took with objects or concepts beginning with a certain letter. I was one of those people. My letter t

Eee!

I saw Spider-Man 3 again last night, with my dad and sister. I liked it, as I did before. It was really fun to get to see it, we went to the 6:45 showing, and got home at about 9:20 or something. Woo. And when we came out of the theater, the moon was in the sky, and it was just a beautiful night... Mmmn...     *GASP* I just realized... I theorized like a maniac over how Harry Osborn could be alive after SM3 and obsessed over details... I'm crazy for comics and sci-fi and horror and fantasy and

Terminator 2

I watched T2 on Saturday with my mom, and it was a great movie. I've seen it before, of course. I loved the plot, characters, action, humor, and special effects, which all hold up to this day. Robert Patrick was great as the T-1000, plus the scenes with the Terminator and John bonding (I watched the extended cut) were really good, and in the end when the Terminator made a thumbs up as he descended into the lava was great... And then I stayed up late and watched the original Terminator movie and

Terminator

So, I went to Blockbuster with my mom and I rented Terminator and Terminator 2, which are some of my favorite movies. I stayed up late and watched Terminator on my DVD player, in my bedroom. Woo. The special effects are still very good, it didn't need any embellishing at all. And I'll watch T2: Judgement Day later today... Yep, I'm up in the middle of the night... Caffeine is my bestest friend now. Also, I figured I should watch those films again (though I haven't seen T3 yet) since the rights t

Braces

I went to the dentist to get little rubber discs inserted between some of my teeth today. That's to help put in the braces somehow. Hurts like heck, still. I'm just rather numb. Hurrah.     Attention: It has come to my notice that love is merely no more than electrons floating inside a piece of meat called a 'brain'. It may be to your advantages to alleviate yourselves from any of the social illusions known as 'romance' before unplesantries arise from the fact that we are all insignificant and

Life Lesson

Remember, always remember, this valuable, priceless piece of wisdom that will serve you well in just about every situation:   Silence is golden, duct tape is silver. Never forget this.   No, really, that should come in handy. Just so long as you have a roll of the silver wonder, you should be well off in any scenario, even one involving giant maggot space toasters from the planet Gllllllokkanyockurghckn'yob M'spoo l'hoorgnoghflorgck.   And another tidbit of wisdom: "Roses are red, violets are

Wait... Hold On...

I's confuzzled... Even if a woodchuck could chuck wood, why would a woodchuck chuck it?Wouldn't the woodchuck upchuck what he chucked when he chucked the wood? I mean, wood's not something most mammals can eat... So, would calling a woodchuck a woodchuck be libel or something? And what if we're pressuring them to do what they can't by giving them that name? Man, just with one word we may be destroying a whole species and then the ecosystem... I think... Whatever, cool!   More standardized test

Standardized Testing...

Oh joy, today we get to suffer some more MCAS. This week we have Social Studies. Greaaaaaaaat... Ah well, I suppose I should do well, I hope... At least I won't have much homework this week, that's a bonus. Plus today will be really easy, I have Reading for Fun, Assisted Study, Drama, and then MCAS, then lunch, then more MCAS. Nur.   I had to drag myself out of bed today, I'm extra-super-mega sleepy... I feel so outright lumpy and whatnot, I wish I had more time to sleep... I didn't have any dr

Shrek 3

I went to see it yesterday, and I liked it. Lots of the same great sort of humor, and great animation. The jokes were funny, and the plot was witty and clever... I think that Weird Al should have gotten a role in Shrek 3... That would have been absolutely terrific if he did... I mean, come on, a ton of other people have gotten roles... Even Regis Philbin and Justin Timberlake. Weird Al would be perfect... Man, I love the Shrek movies. I wish I could say more, but I would spoil it for everybody..

Numb3rs

Just watched the latest episode a while ago. I thought it was very good, touching in a way, especially with how Charlie and Don identified with the spy who revealed the list... And I was surprised to learn that Colby was a spy, but considering that the Janus list was a list of double agents and triple agents, there might still be hope for him yet... I like watching NUMB3Rs, it's such a good, depth-filled show, with great plots and characters.     ...     Also, isn't anybody else gonna post in
