My sister graduated from daycare yesterday, and they had a really cute ceremony with all the graduates singing and putting on plays and even getting little diplomas, and naturally there were plenty of hilarious little preschooler antics.

History wasn't as bad as I thought. Chem, I wasn't worried about in the first place, but History wasn't too bad. Mostly big-picture things, you know? So it was much easier than the more specific tests throughout the year (how the heck would I know who Hubert Humphrey is? He sounds like Humpty Dumpty's cousin!).

Long time no blog. Which means, wow, a WHOLE WEEK ALMOST! =O

No drywall yet though. Gotta get the walls inspected and such, which I find kinda odd... I mean, it's not like they won't support the house, they're not tearing down the original support posts, you know? I guess if they do a really horrible job you could stick your arm through the wall but I mean, it's not going to cause a massive collapse
Now that all the plugins and such are installed, got a printer properly connected (I washed the dishes in exchange for my dad figuring out the printer. I think I got the better end of the deal), got Flash, quicktime, Firefox, haven't gotten AIM or YIM installed yet but I'm using one of them online IM thingies... anyway, now that I got it all mostly comfortable, same old wallpaper, all my files from the old comp... I gotta say, it's scary. Before if I left the comp on late at night my parents cou
Well, I don't feel like making two entries for this, so before I get into the bigger portion a bit of news that gets categorized under "Life."
Took the Math II SAT II today. I was absolutely stressed and the allergies... my right eye wouldn't stop involuntarily twitching... my fingers were shaking, my arm was aching... I finished in time to catch not a single mistake. Hopefully that means I got mostly everything right and not that I missed everything I got wrong...

I'll have to go to sleep at, like, nine or eight tonight. And have a large breakfast with lots of energy and protein. Eggs are good, I suppose. Maybe two tablespoons of sugar, too, just to keep me alert. And a caffeinated beverage.
Perhaps I'll keep a couple of Pixie Stix surreptitiously in my pocket during the exam. If I feel like conking out, I'll dump one down my throat.

I was spared most of them last year-- a lot of my classes didn't HAVE finals, and one of them we did before the scheduled final days. Latin, I got a gold on the NLE so I didn't have to take it. Gym, obviously no final.

I read a joke in a joke book today, that I actually think is more than just a quick laugh. Goes like this:

Now here's a scary story. Today coming out of the school parking lot, apparently two of our buses crashed.
Daaaaaang. That is scary. I mean, it wasn't our bus, I know. I didn't even witness it, but... I think our bus sorta had a holdup going out of school. Think we stopped a bit. Didn't notice. I was reading. I'm always reading.

Well, today was a VERY good day.
For one thing I missed Latin, Gym, Math, and English. And the rest of the entire day of school.
Why? Because I went to observe the NJ Chemistry Olympics hosted on the beautiful campus of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, or NJIT. People have called it the "MIT of New Jersey." My response to that is: "NO DUH."
Anyway, this year I'm in Honors Chem, and only AP Chem students can compete, but I was invited to come as a guest since I'd be taking AP Ch
