  1. "When Kopaka, Gali, and Lewa unite their powers and forms, they become the mighty Wairuha! With the strength and wisdom of three Toa, Wairuha is ready to protect Okoto from whatever threats it may face!" After building my own Toa Kaita Wairuha with the 2015 Toa last year, I was eager to give it another crack with the 2016 versions. Surprisingly, this year's Wairuha turned out even better, even considering difficult-to-use parts like the new torso armor! Of course, I doubt Akamai will work out nearly as well... but then, he didn't last year, either. This model uses only the parts from the three component Toa (not including their respective creatures). I'd love to try and build a Creature Kaita to go with this, but so far the even more limited parts selection has made that challenging. Pose 2 Pose 3 Front View Back View Weapons EDIT: Finished Haikara: Great Creature of Wisdom! "Uxar, Akida, and Melum combine their forms and powers to form Haikara, the Great Creature of Wisdom! With the strength and wisdom of three elemental creatures, Haikara is ready to assist Wairuha in the battle against evil!" I finally succeeded at creating a "Creature Kaita" to go with Wairuha! This model not only manages to make good use of the parts from the three creatures, but also packs in some impressive functionality and augments Wairuha well when united. Back View United, Back View EDIT 2: Instructions for Wairuha are complete! Instructions for Haikara are coming soon! EDIT 3: Instructions for Haikara are finished as well!
  2. So I am the owner of the Gold Onua Mask back from 2015, and I am looking to sell it now. Looking for $2,200, or make me an offer. Dm me directly. Have a great day.
  3. Hi, guys! Today is the first anniversary of Bionicle's Netflix show, Bionicle: The Journey to One! It was released on March 4, 2016 (Same age as a Disney movie called Zootopia, which coincidentally is about animals, like the show). The show is the first TV show that Bionicle ever had (though I don't like it being exclusive in Netflix because I don't like wasting my money for it. Why did it happen this way? Why couldn't it be in a TV channel, like Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon)? ). The show has four 22-minute main episodes, plus a shorter prologue. The show takes place in the G2 universe, as the Toa Masters became Toa Uniters to find the Elemental Creatures and the Golden Masks of Unity, so they can find the Mask of Control. However, Umarak, the main-ish antagonist in the first three main episodes and the 2016 storyline, and his Shadow Traps are sent by Makuta, G2's main antagonist, to capture the Elemental Creatures and find the Mask for him. The Toa and Umarak race each other until Umarak got the mask and turned into Makuta's Destroyer. Makuta then sent Umarak to collect the lost pieces of the destroyed Mask of Ultimate Power and use them to open a portal that can help Makuta get out of the Shadow Realm. It's up to the Toa, along with their mentor named Ekimu the Mask Maker, go to stop and fight Umarak and Makuta. The show was well-liked by many people (heard that Netflix gave it three out of five stars). I watched and liked the show. It was good, but could've been better in terms of story. I liked the animation, which is 3-D (similar to Transformers: Robots in Disguise in 2015 and Iron Man: Armor Adventures, and 3-D is more adequate to our taste to Bionicle G2 than the 2015 Online Animations, which is 2-D). It's weird that it has 2-D-like bits (similar to Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra), but it's reminds me of the Mata Nui Online Games. I also like the action, accuracy to the 2016 sets, voice acting because it's better than the 2015 Online Animations (more voice actors than one, too. Awesome!), comedy, pacing until the fourth episode, and character development. It's very sad that the show ended in the same year it was released in, along with the G2 franchise itself, and I didn't like the rushing in the end of the G2 story in there, either. But, as I said, it is a good show. Not the best Lego TV show, but, still, a good show. I loved that Bionicle has a TV show for the first time. I thought it was a good way to celebrate Bionicle's 15th anniversary. If anyone likes this show, go celebrate! What's your favorite moment in there? For me, I liked the one where Pohatu learned that he has to Unite with Ketar on important occasions the hard way, Umarak the Destroyer going Hulk on the Toa, and Lewa being a comedy relief as he always does.
  4. It's a little later than last year (by about two weeks) but still, I thought it might be worth doing again. So, what are your favorite memories from BZPower in 2016? Mine would be hosting the first season of BZPower's Game of Thrones, as well as writing the fake history tome Lore & Histories. BZPGOT was a rather experimental game but despite a few minor issues, I think it went very well - and hopefully the sequel will be even better with all the kinks ironed out. Lore & Histories was a rather unique writing project for me, and has been a rather fun way to explore some world-building (through the helpful lenses of Okoto). Despite being a bit of a drag at time, overall, I've really enjoyed it. How about all of you?
  5. Hi everyone, I have something fairly unusual for you all: an attempt at making the classic Toa Kaita from the new Uniter sets! Disclaimer time: The leg design for Wairuha was directly inspired by JakTheMad's Ultimate Wairuha on the BZPower Flickr Group. HOWEVER, this, along with the rest of Wairuha, has been reworked, redesigned, and customized to use only pieces from the Uniters and suit my personal style of building. While Akamai does use some similar techniques, he is even further removed from the original source (Not that you can tell ). None of this is meant to infringe on or take credit for JakTheMad's innovative design. If the similarities are here considered problematic, I have no issue with this topic being dragged to the pit by Botar. Link to Imgur Gallery (also features a frightened Umarak and a few possible Unity modes): https://imgur.com/a/wOvdQ I tried to incorporate as many features from the Uniters as possible; Both figures have a full waist swivel function and can unite with most of the creatures. The weapons can switch between two one-handed weapons and one two-handed weapon per figure. Akamai's weapon hilariously features Onua's six-shooter, Tahu's extending blade function, and Pohatu's wrecking ball in one goofy-looking gadget. Also, if anyone wants to build these guys, I'll be working on step-by-step instructions for them. Thanks for checking this out!
  6. Hi, guys! We probably know that Bionicle is 15 years old, and I have been seeing many other franchises celebrating their anniversaries this year lately, like Ninjago with its 5th anniversary, Sonic the Hedgehog with its 25th, Captain America 75th and Wonder Woman 75th. Each of these anniversaries are also treated with cool stuff this year, like Ninjago showing a script to its very first episode in 2011 (perhaps that Day of the Departed wave is an anniversary present, too, because villains from the past come back?), Sonic the Hedgehog appearing in Lego Dimensions and trailers for new and announced games in 2017, Captain America having a Lego statue and monument (perhaps Captain America: Civil War is an anniversary present, too?), and Woman Woman with Lego pictures and statue (perhaps Wonder Woman's appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is an anniversary present, too?). Plus, they also say "Happy some-number-th anniversary!" or something similar. So, my question is why Bionicle did not have any of these in its 5th, 10th, and 15th anniversaries? You ever thought of that? It's weird that Bionicle never gets a treatment of any kind or there isn't a sign that says something like "Happy some-number-th anniversary!" It makes me feel bad that Bionicle didn't have these things to celebrate its anniversaries. I mean, Bionicle is pretty popular, was successful in some of its years, and is loved by many fans, including us, so it should get something on its anniversaries in my opinion. I have been remembering about certain things that could have been signs of celebrating Bionicle's anniversaries, and here's what I got: 1. 2006 - 5th anniversary - The Piraka used the Toa Mata's canisters to arrive in Voya Nui. This reminds me of 2001 when the Toa Mata used their canisters to arrive in the island of Mata Nui. Plus, the video game, Bionicle Heroes, includes characters from 2001-2006. 2. 2011 - 10th anniversary - The Bionicle toy line wasn't there because of Hero Factory, but there is the ending of one of the Bionicle serials, Sahmad's Tale. Plus, Hero Factory's Savage Planet wave in that year has a lot of similarities to Bionicle's first storyline in 2001: a big villain mind-controlling animals, a team of six heroes arriving from the sky to stop him, and they fight against the possessed animals in a jungle. 3. 2016 - 15th anniversary, this year - The Netflix show, Bionicle: The Journey to One, shows the text "2001-2016", which is Bionicle's age, in the end credits and a final battle between the Toa team and Makuta, which reminds me of their battle back in the 2001 storyline. Sadly, G2 died this year as well. This is very disappointing and heinous when cancelling a franchise on its anniversary. (crying in tears of sadness ) Lego never celebrated Bionicle's anniversaries. Lego even never calls what I have on the list above anniversary presents, either. Lego also didn't say "Happy 5th anniversary!" or "Happy 15th anniversary!" to Bionicle. Man, that's heartless, harsh, and unfair in my opinion, as it is like a kid doesn't get his birthday celebrated by people that he likes and loves or presents. Plus, Lego celebrated Ninjago's 5th anniversary, so why not Bionicle's anniversaries? If Lego really celebrated, that would be awesome. Now I would also like to ask you guys another question: How do you thing Lego would have celebrate Bionicle's anniversaries and how would you like Lego to celebrate Bionicle's future anniversaries, like its 20th and 25th anniversaries? For me, I would go with these ideas: 1. Say "Happy 5th anniversary" or "2001-2006" in 2006 and call the Bionicle things in the year that I mentioned above presents. 2. Say "Happy 15th anniversary" or "2001-2016" (on the sets) in 2016 can call the good Bionicle things in the year that I mentioned above presents. 3. Re-release the old sets in the past, or at least the Toa Mata sets. 4. Release golden versions of the Toa Mata sets. 5. Make a video game. 6. Have Bionicle's Facebook a page make a post to celebrate Bionicle's 15th anniversary. 7. Put Bionicle in Lego Dimensions, like Sonic the Hedgehog. 8. Make a storyline that takes place after both the 2011 serials the 2016 storyline where Velika from G1 and Makuta from G2 work together to ruin the events of Bionicle's main storylines defeat the heroes in there and have the bad guys win, so Velika and Makuta would take over both the G1 and G2 universe. They would use some kind of a inter-dimensional device (perhaps use Vezon or make a new Olmak?) and the G1 and G2 Vahi's or a time-traveling device to do this. They would also revive dead villains in the past storylines (perhaps except Makuta Teridax because he would be too un-cooperative because he was obsessed with power?), recruit the still-living ones, and mind-control the reformed ones to assist them somehow. The heroes from the storylines would have to work together to re-live the storylines and fight the villains in there, who are improved, and defeat Velika and Makuta to save their dimensions. A video game would be great to tell the story. Also, perhaps have the Toa Nuva celebrate their anniversary of their first adventure to cherish themselves as heroes and a team. 9. A theatrical Bionicle movie. 10. An announcement to something exciting in Bionicle's future. 11. The return of Bionicle. 12. Unresolved things in G1 and G2 resolved. 13. A TV show that is not exclusive in Netflix. I am not going to send more money to pay for it, and I prefer the show to be in a TV channel that we can watch for free, like Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network. 14. Say something like "Happy 20th anniversary" and "Happy 25th anniversary" in Bionicle's future years if it is still running in them and give it presents, like something similar to the things above. So, there. I know it's a lot, but these are something that Bionicle could have celebrated its anniversaries and would celebrate its future anniversaries. What do you guys think?
  7. This is what I gathered form BS01: --The Vahi comes into existence. Since it is older than the stars, it has to come first. --At some point in the distant past, the elements themselves magically create the mysterious island of Okoto. --The elements are: (1) stone, (2) earth, (3) water, (4) fire, (5) jungle, (6) ice, (7) light, and (8) shadow. --In addition to the island, 7 creatures are created from stone, earth, water, fire, jungle, ice, and light to be the avatars of their respective elements. Shadow, in response, creates Umarak the Hunter to oppose and hunt the creatures. --The Temple of Time is either created from the elements as well, or the Okotoans build it as their first temple. The Mask of Time somehow then arrives at the Temple. --Okotoans either are also formed from the elements, or migrate from another location. --Okotoans build the Labyrinth of Control --The Capitol City is built. --The City of the Mask Makers is built. --The Skull Raiders invade the island from a different location. --The islanders live in harmony, along with the Mask Makers Makuta and Ekimu. So there are a few things I'm wondering about: 1. We know the Skull Army is not native to Okoto (presumably they sailed to the island from elsewhere). Does this mean there is a mainland on this planet inhabited by skeleton people? Why did they come to Okoto? How did they know about it? And, if they did know about beforehand, how is it that no one else has come to Okoto in its several thousand years of recored history? Ultimately, what were they hoping to get out of coming to Okoto? 2. How did the Okotoans get to Okoto? Were they created from the elements too? Did the Great Beings put them there? Did they sail to the island from another location? Who told them then that there would be a rich island in the middle of the ocean? 3. Also: are the Mask Makers just skilled Okotoans? Or are they a whole other race? Is that ever explained? Is Makuta an earth villager and Ekimu a water one? 4. What's with those 2 moons anyway? One thing I'll say I don't like so much about G2 is there's no Greg to ask.
  8. Umarak the Destroyer is an ok set but he wasn't bulky enough for my liking. So I've made a few changes to him. They are as followed 1. Completely redesigned the torso so its much bulkier 2. Bulked up legs slightly 3. Removed claw gimmick so he can have poseable wrists. 4. Changed up the horns on the mask. I didn't like how Umarak's horns went away when he put on the Mask of Control so I combined them with the Mask of Control's horns. Umarak's horns are now gold. 5. Moved the jaw up so its not hanging down so far. With that out of the way here are pictures. 12. Umarak the Hunter stood in a forest clearing. In front of him was the exit to the sprawling Labyrinth of Control. Six colourful beings ran towards him from the exit. In his right hand, he held a huge bow. In the other, he held the ram-horned Mask of Control. The six Toa ran across the threshold of the exit. Each one wore a golden mask and their blue eyes shone from behind it. Tahu stepped forwards, his swords extending. "Umarak! Drop the mask and we may go easy on you." Umarak spoke in his thousand-year-old voice, a deep, raspy, yet strong one. "I'm afraid, Tahu, that I cannot do that." "Then face my fire! Ikir, UNITY!" Tahu raised a sword into the air. The other Toa looked around. "Where's Ikir?" Onua asked. Suddenly, a bird's screech filled the sky. Every Toa turned to see Ikir, the birdlike Creature of Fire, carrying Ekimu the Mask Maker towards the Toa. "Toa!" He yelled. "I have come to help you! You must remember! Unity will protect you in this battle!" Ekimu dropped down next to Tahu. "I will watch you fight Umarak. If you are not ready, I will take over." Tahu nodded as Ikir clicked onto his back. Ikir's head fit over Tahu's mask and his wings flapped above his shoulders. Tahu ran at Umarak. Umarak laughed menacingly and lifted the Mask of Control. Tahu jumped and aimed a sword... A grinding sound filled the air. ZYGUUUUUUUUN.... Tahu was lifted into the air as the Mask of Control glowed purple. Tahu flew backwards at an amazing speed. "Ikir, deunite!" Just as Ikir popped off of Tahu's back, both slammed into the door to the Temple of Control. They fell to the ground in a heap, defeated. Lewa and Pohatu stepped forward. "There's no way he can take both of us," Pohatu said. Suddenly, Ketar the Creature of Stone and Uxar the Creature of Jungle appeared and clicked into their places on the backs of Pohatu and Lewa, respectively. They both charged at Umarak. Pohatu leaped into the air, swinging his ball-and-chain. As it came down towards Umarak, another grinding sound filled the clearing, and the ball stopped midair. Pohatu swung off it and towards Umarak. The Mask of Control glowed purple, and Pohatu's chain snapped. Umarak caught him with the mask and flung him at the back wall. Pohatu, understanding he was defeated, didn't bother to deunite, and fell next to Tahu. Lewa now flew towards Umarak. Umarak flipped his bow and fired it, catching Lewa's wings. Lewa staggered in the air, and the Mask of Control flung him at the back wall again. Lewa and Uxar deunited, crashing against the wall and falling on top of Tahu and Ikir. Now Onua, already United, stepped forwards. "Ekimu, you must help us!" Ekimu shook his head. "You must find a way!" Onua frowned and ran at Umarak. He swung his hammer at Umarak's mask. He was caught too, and thrown at the door. However, he was too heavy, and skidded to a halt in front of Tahu, still United. "I fear Umarak may win... Gali! Kopaka! Do all you can to stop Umarak!" Ekimu was worried, but he knew that Gali was one of the most powerful Unities. Kopaka and Gali stepped forwards. Kopaka was hovering with the power of his Unity, and twin machine guns sat on the shoulders of Gali. They edged towards Umarak, guns blazing. The bolts stopped in front of Umarak, arranging themselves in a spherical shield around him. The bolts' spiked ends pointed outwards. "Ekimu. He can't be beaten," Kopaka said monotonously. "You must, Toa!" Umarak laughed as the bullets on his invisible shield flew outwards. Kopaka was struck down. Gali continued to take bullets. "Look, Gali... I haven't been honest with you." Ekimu sighed. "I have a special form that can defeat Umarak... But it is a last resort. Doing it could mean the end of the world. The Mask of Control can do it too. Please, Gali, don't fall to Umarak." Gali was on her knees, now. Umarak laughed and shot a single bolt from his bow. It slammed into the chin of Gali's mask, sending it flying into the head of Akida, Creature of Water, knocking it off of Gali's back. Gali fell forwards, maskless. Ekimu stepped up to Umarak. "So, a power you mentioned?" Umarak looked at him quizzically. Ekimu nodded. "I'm sorry it had to come to this." He shone with a blue light, and his limbs began getting longer. "Taller? That's all you can manage? Watch THIS!" Umarak threw the Mask of Control into the air, then removed his own mask and looked up. The Mask of Control fell onto his face, and Umarak shone with a neon green light as the Mask of Control cracked and broke across its surface. Ekimu gasped as he saw Umarak the Destroyer take form.
  13. I have long wanted to make this guy, at first intended to perform a custom mask, but it was too much work, until one day testing a custom head emerged for the mask that worked wonderfully with the mask.torso structure is very flexible and durable and does not lose the character's base structure.the parts legs were more difficult to build because stability, function and aesthetics not always work well, the wings were easy to build elements thanks to previous experiences, unlike other cases I use fabric to complement the design. finally the color scheme, basically uses the same idea behind the orginal whole, however decided to use dark red for the color contrast was not so high. I hope you liked to see this character as much as me, it was a pleasant experience and adds to the other characters built based on movies. who are you looking for? krekka: where is nihdiki?teridax: don´t worry i will take you with him!!

    Ekimu

Ekimu, Lava Beast, and Storm Beast arrived in the mail today. Ekimu's Magical Growth Spurt is a pretty good set. He finally got rid of that impractical hammer-gun and replaced it with a hammer, in addition to mounting his shield to his forearm so he can wield his hammer two-handed if he so wishes. Hammer is a pretty creative and clever arrangement of pieces that creates a shape one mold probably wouldn't be able to replicate. Also, the transparent blue is excellent him. He's like the Toa, but also a bit different, probably because he uses both gear functions and is mostly transparent. Also, the Umarak mask is pretty cool looking although it's puzzling why it appears in the set. Lava Beast, well, visually, IMO, Lava Beast is the least cluttered-looking of the monsters - no immediately obvious function parts and no ball joints or cups that don't do anything. Biggest downside is the lower legs, which really could've been done better if they were done more like Storm Beast's lower legs, which look significantly better. The blades on the arms also have gears to them which give them quite a bit of friction when the ones that swivel, well, swivel. Also, the new armour piece works the best on Lava Beast, IMO. Storm Beast is more about the function than the look, although the function's parts don't really stand out that much, fortunately. Storm Beast also has significantly better lower legs than Lava Beast. Storm Beast's function is a good idea in concept, however it's not as good as people thought it would be - it causes the arms and tail to flop around a lot, and they won't stay in place if raised, not to mention it doesn't work 100% perfectly - when you pull the tail down, for instance, there is a good chance one arm will be slightly lower than the other. Also, the colours are pretty decent and probably the most eye-catching blend of the beasts. Transparent lime, dark blue (let's just call it that because calling it metru blue is outdated nonsense), and transparent blue go together quite well. However, the jaws of the beasts are pretty bad. They're more or less fixed in place unless you want to pop the mask of, which you probably don't because few masks fit the beast's heads with the jaw attachments. Not to mention that you can already see the lower jaw of the transparent lime head - so it looks there's this weird, out-of-place gunmetal thing attached to the sides of their heads. It puzzles me why LEGO didn't repurpose the 'masks-pop-off' function of pressing down on the eyestalks to open and close the jaws, as there was a perfect opportunity for it. Ekimu > Lava Beast > Storm Beast

    Odd

On the UK S@H, Lava Beast, Storm Beast, and Ekimu are available, but Umarak the Destroyer and Quake Beast are not. Don't really see a reason as to why they would be unavailable while the other three 2016 summer wave sets are released...
  16. So is anyone else perplexed by the whole "Villains United" theme of Ninjago sets later this year? I mean, let's look at the lineup: *Skeletons-makes sense seeing as how they were never destroyed. *Stone Warriors-a little bizarre since the only one we've seen since the end of season two was the big guy in Cryptarium Prison. *Nindroids-again, only ones we've seen were in Cryptarium Prison. *Chen and his Anacondrai Cultists-were last known to be inside the Preeminent...right before she was destroyed, apparently taking everyone inside with her aside from Clouse. Even with that, how are they flesh-and-blood again? Of course, it will hopefully all be explained once those episodes start-though who knows when that'll be since nothing past Skybound episode one has premiered in the U.S. yet.
  17. Since the start of 2016 I've been trying to build characters who have appeared in G2 Bionicle but have not had a set form (except the villagers). I feel I should shout out to Number_One_Ix's builds, who has also built the Shadow Spawn and Ice Shadow trap, but I felt some of the details could be improved. Anyway without further delay ... Makuta the Mask Maker Pictures Left - Back - Right I made two decisions while making Makuta. First I decided that any colour piece I could not find I would substitute with black, it blends with the trans purple well. Secondly I decided to give him green eyes like his brother Ekimu, after all he hadn't fully turned evil until he put on the Mask of Ultimate Power. Umaraks Shadow Spawn Pictures Left - Back - Right - Front Now this guy I had to build from screenshots of Journey to One. I had to go over things few times to get details like the knee spikes and tail colours right. Because he lacks Umaraks pauldrons, I raised his shoulders up and I filled in the gaps in his body with 3 length shells. Overall I'm satisfied with how this build turned out. (Noticed the spikes on his arms are one stud too high, oops) Ice Shadow Trap Pictures Left - Back - Right - Open Nothing here much different from any other Ice Shadow Trap moc, the white exo force arms do seem more accurate though. Not the best of the Shadow Traps I must say. Umaraks Forces Pictures With 7th shadow trap - All Shadow Traps - All Shadow Traps open Here are the rest of the pictures I took, enjoy! So please do tell me if there are any differences I missed, or any other characters I should consider building. Thanks for looking!
  18. Quake beast revamp It has been quite some time since the last posted creation, however they come to know more and hope you find it to your liking.A few months ago the images of bionicle summer sets were released and not everyone liked this concept of beasts in the sets, however, I found an interesting idea in each set, one that took my attention was the quake beast.two ideas came as inspiration for creating the moc, the original set and head concept from "ultimate dume" compared to the figure, there are not many details, only try to add items to make it look less humanoid possible, the right arm was designed as a deck, unlike the set that uses more skeletons easier to pose this arm and as a whole the left arm is normal with some modifications to make it look fair to the proportions of his opposite arm. I hope you liked there and see you in the next post!!
  19. My Wairuha MOC topic has been updated with a "Creature Kaita"! Check it out!
  20. I have come up with new villains for the Toa, the Corrupters. I am designing all of their masks first and later I am going to MOC their bodies with set like perimeters. Pictures Mask of Combustion Mask of Gravity: Mask of Fracturing: Original Hand Sketches: I will post more pictures as soon as I can finish them. Story There were those of the inhabitants of Okoto that excepted Makuta as their new leader upon his donning of the Mask of Ultimate Power. Being immediately empowered by mask’s dark energy they were transformed into powerful beings, at the same time however, it’s slaves. When Ekimu knocked the mask from Makuta’s face, some of Makuta’s mind was divided among his servants who were present. They took Makuta’s fallen form and placed it in a tome deep in the island. Now because of the presence of Makuta in their minds one of them was able to forge masks of power. They used an unrecorded mask to raise the skull creatures. Commanding these creatures, they secretly orchestrated the search for the great masks, not wanting the other inhabitants to learn of their existence... They were almost able destroy the Mask of Creation but Kulta saw an opportunity to destroy the Toa and donned it instead. Kulta almost succeeded too, however Ekimu knocked it from his face and Kulta toppled backwards planting his head in the molten forge in which he was to destroy the mask. Learning the whereabouts of the Mask of Control they went to recover it, but were beaten to it by Umarak. They escaped, when the Toa attacked Umarak, into the shadows unseen by the heroes. “They” are the Corrupters of the Elements (the new “Brotherhood of Makuta” basically) and they wear the masks of corruption. Description _ Corrupter of Fire Wears the Mask of Combustion This corrupter can become a fire being with his mask and forge masks of power. His weapon/s are: Two Katars (punching daggers) mounted on his lower arms and Makuta’s mask making hammer. _ Corrupter of Stone Wears the Mask of Density This corrupter can increase the density of any part of his body. I may make him have four arms. His weapons are: Undecided _ Corrupter of Ice Wears the Mask of Fracturing This cold hearted corrupter fractures masks and drains their power. His weapon/s are: A ice mace and possibly a sword. _ Corrupter of Earth Wears the Mask of Gravity This corrupter can control gravity. He can use his power on himself and/or others. His weapon/s are: Undecided _ Corrupter of Water Wears the Mask of Envelopment This corrupter finds pleasure in enveloping his/her victims with water and then constricting the life out of them. His weapon/s are: A trident _ Corrupter of Jungle Wears the Mask of Impersonation This corrupter has the ability to change his physical form to that of another. His weapon/s are: Whip or Flail I may make one of the Corrupters legless to add a little more diversity in their designs (note this would leave more pieces for the upper body, making it appear almost titan sized). Any suggestions and/or criticism are welcome, weather it's about the masks or how you think the MOCs should look. Sorry if this is not the place to post this topic; I didn't know where to post it since it goes into several categories. Edit: By the way I prefer to work in 3d, so if anyone knows of a free 3d software I could use please let me know in the comments below (I have never used sculpting software and prefer to use dimensions, as in SolidWorks). This would not only look better, but it could make them 3d printable.
  21. The Mask of Ultimate Power was forged using all the elements. The creatures of Okoto were formed using an element for each. So when Mukuta created the MOUP in his anger, the mask became alive and fed off his dark thoughts. Upon wearing the mask it seized control of Mukuta and took over his body. After Ekimu managed to knock the MOUP off his brother's face, releasing Mukuta from it's control, the brothers were knocked into a deep sleep and the MOUP was "lost" to the shadows... The MOUP has summoned Umurak to find the Mask of Control and capture all the creatures. Succeeding the MOUP fuses them all together (Umurak, creatures, and beasts) to form it's own extremely overpowered body. Ekimu realizing they are no match for the "Master of Ultimate Power", comes up with a plan to unmake the MOUP. He connot do it on his own however, so Ekimu and the Toa go in search for Mukuta. Awakening Mukuta, Ekimu reveals his plan to use the Mask of Time. The Mask Makers will each use a half of the mask to trap the MOUP in a time paradox to dimensionally fragment it. Meanwhile the Toa use there combined power to contain him. Some other ideas: During the final battle with the MOUP, Ekimu and Mukuta are fused, because of a time anomaly caused by the Mask of Time. In the final battle the Toa are joined by other incarnations of themselves to take down the MOUP (this could connect G1 and G2). After the final battle the Toa remember who they are. They are the "formers" of the island of Okoto.Potential Sets: Ekimu and Mukuta (each wearing a half of the Mask of Time) combiner set. Both halves of the Mask of Time can be connected to form one mask.Master of Ultimate Power titian set. Colors black and trans. red. (Biggest Bionicle set ever released)Alternate Toa sets (possibly based off some G1 sets). I just wanted to share my thoughts. Please share your thoughts in the comments below.
  22. Just an idea if the lego group decided to go with a more Nuva design for the 2016 toa using some of the Star Wars contraction pieces. 23. Both of the aforementioned polybags seem to be exclusive to Russia. I'm not happy about this, because I really want to acquire both of them, and I don't want to pay $40+ just for a polybag. So, I think that we should get LEGO to at least release the Accessory Pack, because it isn't fair not to release it to all countries. As for the Villain Pack, they probably won't make any more, due to it being from last year's lineup. Thoughts? (Mods, feel free to merge this with the 2016 discussion topic if it belongs there rather than its own topic.)
  24. These are my mods to Umarak the Hunter. Changes are as followed 1. Slight change to the torso build to move the arms up and attach the Shadow trap halves to ball joints 2. Lower legs are changed to use Uniter pieces to make them look more armored. 3. Bow changed to a one handed crossbow using the First Order Stormtrooper blaster. Extra ammo is stored on the right leg. 4. Horns changed slightly so there entirely dark brown. 5. Weapon belt from Hero Factory across the chest to store dagger and another accessory 6. No longer can unite with the creatures. I could change it but it would require using blue pin which I wanted to avoid using. 25. There is a small and unknown clan of heroes and anti-heroes called the LoP or Legacy of Protectors. They have been small and not known until a character who remains unnamed crashed onto their island. This is his story. ---------------------- Karda Nui, Outer Ridges, 11:20 Matoran Time Lynis, a very skilled swordsman and hunter, walked past the owner of a small boxed out boat, due for Xia. He had been allied with the Dark Hunters until the Shadowed One's fall, to which he escaped and now resided in a small hut on the outskirts of a desert not known to have a name. "Is she commissioned?" he asked in a deep tone. The owner turned out to be sleeping and Lynis decided to steal it instead. He climbed in and fell on his back with a large crash. He found himself to his feet and found the wheel. The water seemed rather calm, and not swarmed with bat-like Makuta and the now defeated Icarax. Lynis's armour had been cloaked in a rather large cloak, coloured silver and black to hide his armour. He sat down after putting the boat on self drive, which was used on most boats like that model. He stared at the sky and watched the birds and other winged animals fly around. "I wonder what it would be like, to have wings. Oh no I'm talking to myself again." A voice suddenly came forth in the back of his round head. "Oh you'll know in time." Before Lynis jumped up from shock, the boat stopped. He had reached Xia. Before his time, the BoM had created a weapon called a Yuri-Ion Trap, which when used sucked the light out of anything in a mile radius. Lynis hopped out of his boat. What he wanted to do on Xia is unknown. He looks around the base of the isle, wondering if he had gotten to Xia or some nearby island. He then spotted something on the ground. A tooth from a lizard? No this is strange. Lynis thought hard as he approached the weird object. He proceeded to reach out and grab it. The object inevitably blew up, revealing it to be a Yuri-Ion trap. Lynis blacked out from the pressure of having his light sucked out of him. Something had happened to him though, something to disturbing to be thought of. The trap had malfunctioned and created a light version of Lynis after sucking his light. This light form was stored in the back of the new Lynis's head. He laid there for days. Eventually two Av-Matoran walked by. Jinak and Mirak found this unconscious body, armour badly damaged. They made the decision to wake him from his slumber. After names and a punch in the face, Lynis woke up and agreed to walk with them back to base. There he waited for Jinak to open the door. Once opened, the trio walked past a varying arrange or items from creature heads to the drained Mask of Light. But it is here that Lynis met his old friend who leads the LoP, Scatez. His first mission was also given here. The clone in the back of his head? That has more meaning later on in Lynis's story. END.
