I read somewhere (can't remember where) that they were a scouting party from Sidorak's horde that was stranded there in the great cataclysm.

I'd expect the moons would have been too small or far out to see from the surface of SM with the naked eye (presuming they still existed prior to the Shattering. (I remember one of the characters refferencing pre-shattering as ,before Bara Magna had moons). However their absence from the UDD symbol may be because they were simply of no consequence to Mata Nui's mission.

Definitely a more advanced/complex constraction figure line. It's known that LEGO wants to run multiple figure lines and the 1 wave 'ultra builds' just aren't cutting it. Hero Factory is playing it's roll well but a more vehicle based line is what I'm hoping for next. And Bionicle of course (when the time is right). I imagine a green nova blast as a wave of energy that would sause all plant matter in the area (including dormant seeds and possibly dead plants) to grow rapidly and chaotically into what is essentially a solid thick ring of plant matter around the toa. Crushing/entangling anyone in it's way when its formed.

1 your right, they do have standard/defult forms.2. As far as I can tell, the 12 original Kanohi designs are the only ones common around Metru Nui ( Metru Matoran masks being shaped like great masks is artistic licence to make them more recognisable). Now, the Metru don't realy know anything about the Matoran to Toa process, at first I suppose they simply didn't know they were still wearing the same Kanohi. Besides, knowing what the mask is and using it are two entirely different things. So it doesn't realy matter if Vakama recognised them at first or not.3. You've got me on that one. Perhaps lihkan's mask was forged differently to most.

Well the barraki only tried to take over the universe and were stopped before they could do any real damage.The core war shattered a planet and changed life for the survivors for all time. A fare site more memorable.And the barraki never got to Metru nui where most of our main characters are from

Well I found a few remains of lehvak-kal in my pool one day. He must have broken up on re-entry.Just kidding, the pieces were from a regular lehvak, but I still have no idea where they came from. I only ever got one lehvak model and he was still in the box were I'd left him.

Apart from the obvious recolored original kanohi, matoran and master builder set rahi pieces (we need original Pewku). The 2 pronged Speer used by the Ta-Koro guard and Surrel's helmet. All the other Kanohi can be molded for use in official sets when Bionicle eventually reterns.(not wishful thinking... Ambition)

I believe it means before Mata Nui first awoke 100 000 years ago. Though for the purpose keeping the Matoran's origins secret on Mata Nui (island), the turaga used it to reffer to pre great cataclism.I suppose it could reffer to any time before the current era. E.g.: during the reign of the barraki anything before their rise would be the time before time. Now anything before the melding was in the time before time ( which is almost all of Bionicle).

It occurs to me that Terry would have gotten control of the MU even if he hadn't put Mata Nui to sleep, a thousand years sooner even. And he wouldn't have met any resistance.

In my opinion, the first 2 movies give the most accurate representations of the matoran and others because they show how the muscle tissue fits into it and fill in the gaps in their armor left by the fact that they are based of a construction toy. If you were to fill in the muscle tissue and more compleat armor on the 03, 04 and 07 matoran, they'd all look fairly similar. 01 a bit smaller with slightly less armor. 08 slightly larger with slightly more detail. And 06 hideously disfigured.The 03, 04 & 07 all represent the same basic structure with only slight differences varied by reigon. If you were to choose a standard form you would first have to choose a standard reigon. And to an outsider they probably wouldn't even notice any difference in the armor unless it was pointed out to them.

They could wear Kanohi, but I dought any of the Barraki did. They seem to pride full. Even if they did I'd imagine they were taken off them by Hydraxon when they were sent to the pit. Ehlek. Wearing a kaukau, seem a bit redundant docent it.

Ya know, the serpentine and Chima hybrids are not the first human/animal hybrid figs. Think Atlantis. Could have similar origins, perhaps the Ancients also had access to a supply of chi (according to one of the online games they also had an Olmak). On a side note, I really don't like how Lego has decided to portray the wolves. I've always thought oh them as rather Nobel. And no king? Wolves do have pack leaders don't they?

Didn't Toa Helrix once say that Matoran with an important destiny often stand out from the crowd. To me, all of this 'evidence' is just saying that these Matoran have an important roll to play, which is not news to anyone. This isn't to say that they will all become Toa. The OoMN only intended to place one Av-Matoran in each land and there were only six elements already present on Metry Nui. If there were any travellers from other lands there when the sea gates were closed (and didn't tell Turaga 'Terry' Dume so he could let them out before closing the gates). Why didn't they make themselves known on Mata Nui. They didn't loose their memories straight away.That being said, there is no telling what motives one could have for wanting to keep their identity hidden. Bum bum buuuuuu!But the Turaga did check all of the Matoran off before loading them on the airships.P.s. why does no one ever talk about Kotu?

Cool. This makes it a bit weird that they labeled the 2013 sets 'the final battle'.Just thought of this, zane was created to protect others who could not protect themselves, maybe Doc.J made others like zane before for some big baddie or Manley they just went rough. Zane was different and Doc.J raised the last one, Zane, as his son. Now their back and the ninja are called into battle again! Of the ninja could just be getting new gear. Either way I hope they bring in some new ninja, maybe trainees?
