  1. Agni?Haha, just kidding. :PSay we never actually found out why Kapura could do whatever it is he does. Greg said it was from the original story bible. I wonder how him becoming a Toa might effect that.
  2. Kotu is the MOST underrated character. I'd have her paired with Onepu as part of an advanced team for the Chroniclers company. I am slowly writing a story about just that. (very slowly). There turning out to be a really fun pair. :)Apart from that, iv pretty much got Kapura figured out as a toa. Mask, tool, fatal flaw. But I'm not telling. Spoilers.
  3. Who else does he have to talk to?
  4. All the mnog & mnog2 villages were just scaled down for the sake of the game. Note that none of the villages are large enough to accommodate all the affiliated matoran seen in that game. Although it looks like lomn was going the have the villages more or less unchanged.
  5. Personally I much prefer Bionicle in almost every way. I don't find hero factory system or story neerly as stimulating, but it does have it's merits. Lack of continuity makes it much easier to jump in at any point. But there are no rules which I find rather annoying. In reality Bionicle and hero factory are very different lines. It's like trying to compare ninjago and space police.(for the record, ninjago wins)
  6. I believe it has been stated that Lego wants to run multiple constraction lines so...Hero factory style line for younger kidsMore technic based line for olderish kidsUltra builds for system lovers :PAs long as as Bionicle still 'feels' like Bionicle I'm happy.I'm thinking the best path for the story would be to start fresh but retain strong ties to the existing world. E.g. Great beings, returning characters with amnesia (ones who didn't get much screen time). Relocation and minor time jump.As for the overcomplicating backstory (an excuse I never really bought for the lines initial discontinuation) a simple solution is checkpoints. We have a single continuing story with a masive underlying mystery (ala mata nui) but split the line up into chapters / sagas. One saga (e.g. Metru nui, ignition) lasts 2-3 years and is set up so than it can be told as an individual story separate to the rest. The end of one saga/beginning of the next is the checkpoint where it is easiest for new followers to jump in as they wouldn't require any more backstory than what is given. This may become a bit more difficult when we reach the new line equivalent of 08.
  7. Ah, you meen the ones from the prototype Manas set?
  8. Even in Bionicle, I find it difficult to imagine that most Bohrok were once Av-Matoran. Since there're clearly more Bohrok in one sub-Mata nui nest then the entire matoran population of Metru nui. plus Mata nui would have needed a healthy supply of Bohrok from the start.I tend to think of it that the sub-Metru nui Bohrok are the former Av-Matoran. Since there were relatively few of them. Occasionally a few might migrate to replenish the main sub-Mata nui nests.Think there could be more secondary nests elsewhere in the universe? I'm sure there would be usefull.@Bones on molten proto: in BL#5 Jaller seemed convinced he could survive in lava at least long enough to get the mask of life... Then die.
  9. Vezon seems to be able to distinguish his memories from Vezok's... Or not, he is insane. If he fused himself to himself (a version with similar origins) he would basically double that mental strain. Thats four sets of memories in an already fragile mind that could never be certain he was even in the right universe. If he continued universe hopping Most of the time none of his memories would be valid.Forget stabilizing his personality, what we would have would make Vezon now look sane and logical! Scary.Imagine, a scitzofrenic Vezon. D:
  10. Actually... Source is BS01.Not sure if it ever came up in the actual story, though. The only place I can recall seeing it in story is here http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/BIONICLE:_The_Legend_of_Mata_Nui_Promo_AnimationJust at the start of the clip. The northern forest and somewhere in aqua magna would be the logical locations but there still not visible on any image of the whole planet or it's fragments. I suppose the enhanesd greenhouse effect could have at least shrunk the northern cap whe bota magna was formed (faber concept art)
  11. Granted, we really haven't seen that much of spherus magna. The convention is that the northern and southernmost point on a planet are the coldest locations on a planet, as they have less direct exposure to the sun and Bones will probably explain it a lot better latter on.To the point: we have had no indication that spherus magna has frozen polar caps. Why? Do they even exist? Could their apparent absence have something to do with fact that the planet is part of a binary star system, the planets sheer (estimated) size, or that two giant chunks were ripped away for 100,000 years where the poles would have been, but even then.So did they exist. If not, why?
  12. Is it possible that Garai and Ba--- are derived from different versions of the dialect. So, when the first mask of gravity was was forged the mask maker chose to use the modern (or closer to modern) term for gravity rather than the original. Why? Maybe the mask maker thought Ba--- didn't sound like a mask. I would expect that some kanohi names were derived from multiple words. E.g. Kom---, ---ou.
  13. It really is as long as you don't mind having to clean up after. I guess that Gav doesn't have to worry about that though.
  14. Those look like new minifigs in the master builder council room. Lincon, panda, the list goes on. (future collectables minifigs?)
  15. IMO. The plot we got was lame, including licensed themes is a bad idea and stop motion ( or CGI mimicking such) is impractical and way to stiff for use in a feature film. But that trailer was awesome! There had better be! I'm hoping kahgarak.
  16. Keep in mind that Tuma wasn't going to be a reoccurring villain for the last two years. (2010, 2011). He was just a minor obstical in the long run, before they dropped out of the race in the last 2km. It dosnt look like the original 2010 villains would even have gotten sets.
  17. I thought it was going great except for the poor execution of the legend reborn. The opening sequence there was really bad and kind of messed up the minimal backstory thing they were going for. What do you have against the serials?
  18. The way I see it; whenever you see a word in matoran, it's actualy from an older version of the dialect. Whenever they seem to use English, it's just a stand in for modern matoran. Never been confirmed but it would explain why we only seem to get names in matoran.Kanoka disk instead of disk disk
  19. Earth does not and never will exist in the prime Bionicle universe or any alternates explored in official story lines. This has been confirmed several times.Technically speaking it is possible through inter-dimentional travel which does exist in Bionicle.Though nothing restricts fanfics from exploring this idea.
  20. Usually I always go fore the fire type. This is actually the only exception. Kopaka was always my favorite even though I hate the cold. But when I read up on Onua (the one mata I never got in set form, not even nuva . ) it's close but il have to go with my first instinct.
  21. Infant rabbits are called kittens.
  22. Personally I see it as bland, hollow and limiting. That being said, it serves it's purpose well in the HF system.
  23. I looked at tue picture and now I have a question. Where is Metru Nui? It says its under Mata Nui (the island). So is it under Mata Nui, or am I mistken?Metru-Nui is in Mata-Nui's head. Also by all descriptions Mata-Nui (island) is bigger than either of the continents. The barraki had already built a fortres where mahri-nui landed so the formation could have been altered by them.
