  1. Web of Shadows was pretty good tho. Better than MoL IMO. Another excellent point. Despite the depth in plot, early Bionicle was very black and white when it came to good and evil. That's not to say that a tragic hero or moral shades of grey have no value - in fact, they are important aspects in many of my favorite media. However, sometimes the simpler approach was the better, and Bionicle was a perfect slate for that. The good guys always won, in the end, and they were the epitome of what the good guys should be. Same with the big bad. And in Bionicle, that was the proper approach in my honest opinion. I would say that blurring good and evil was one of the things that made late-bionicle. The sheer irony that came with characters like Krika and Brutaka, who kinda hovered between the good and the bad side, made the more down-to-earh approach story work. It's like holding a mirror up to Bionicle, which is exactly what the fans growing up would be doing at that point. Still, the line would probably have lasted longer if only they just stuck to escapism. I mean, come on, in 2008 Greg even started to touch Bionicle politics. All was lost that day. I like how you call it "Bonkle".
  2. Considerable improvement. I hope you submitted this version to B6. You guys make a pro team.
  3. Old-school, fancy way of saying "I'd rather not" that spread from the Southern continent. Originally a matoran phrase, the Piraka started using it ironically after having witnessed Vezon's enlarged Fenrakk. "Look, a kofo-jaga."
  4. HErrWWzadeerfDZZ There's also a Macku doll. I can't even begin to describe my happiness. So awesome.

    Diaries of Destral

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful artwork. It's also amusing. Nice dorky Makuta. Did I mention that the artwork is beautiful?
  6. Wait... just how many different endings are there? And yes, I agree that it's pretty dark.
  7. Haha it's definitely a fan game and it takes a lot of patience. I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone to wants top-notch. It's about an akilini athlete who later turns out to be part of a criminal group of matoran trying to overthrow Turaga Dume. I kinda forgot what the reason was, but it was filled with awesome. Even though the gameplay is pretty amateurish (not like I could make it any better), the concept and script just drew me in. It's not something that looks remotely official, but it has that mysterious oddness that MNOG has. The biggest difference is that this one brings the more unsettlingly human characteristics of the Metru Nui society to the foreground. I remember spending way too much time collecting raw protodermis from a tiny tap in in Po-Metru with a tiny jar to do basically anything. At first I was like "sure whatever", but after a while I started realizing how weird it is. If you have the patience and time to finish MNOLG II, you might wanna try it. I think what you're supposed to do depends on the Metru you belong to. The first thing I had to do was to deliver supplies to a Le-Matoran working on a small airship.
  8. For some reason I once completed this game while I should have been studying (don't worry, I graduated). I secretly loved it.

    Tahu taking a selfie XD
  10. If Bionicle were to be brought back, I want it to be a comedy anime about Toa Norik and Iruini.
  11. "Minion the Moocher" by Crab Ussalway The Duck Song
  12. At first I was baffled by your post count, but then I saw that you joined in 2006.
  13. You're not that hard to find, though! Lol, I am kinda half expecting a lot of ironic posts by people who actually show up everywhere. People who choose to stay quiet will generally stay quiet, after all.

    Reznas' Comics

Hey, they're both le-matoran. Is this going to be a shounen-ai?
  15. Not sure if this has been discussed before, but whatever, just wondering... Well do I remember how I used to check out this forum as a kid, but rarely posting anything. I couldn't be the only one. Doesn't it statistically make sense that we all know the people who post everywhere all the time, while there just might also be lots and lots of more passive members who may simply want to simply read, pretty much like guests? I wouldn't know, they're generally hard to see. So, does this apply to anyone? Are there any of those "secret" members willing to show up? : )
  16. Is it me or is BZ-koro turning into zombieland? Loved the comic.
