  1. ALRIGHT ALRIGHT I GET IT I GET IT SWITCHING VOTE FROM SEVEN TO EIGHT aka THE INACTIVE BOAT ARE YOU HAPPY NOW
  2. IC: Miira (Sota Colisseum) When the Toa ducked and ran towards her, Miira jumped and performed a somersault, flying over Scriva as she spun in the air. She landed and immediately turned around to stab at the Toa's back. Employing acrobatics in combat was something Hesperax, an arena fighter Miira had always admired, had done in the past.
  3. IC: Miira (Sota Colisseum) She took a few steps forwards. "Don't be afraid, these knives won't hurt too much. Except they will, but I think you'll calm down if you believe they won't. I prefer to fight against calm and focused opponents, not nervous ones." All of a sudden she threw another knife, aimed at Scriva's chest, and sprinted towards her, drawing the Deadly Twins from their sheaths.
  4. IC: Champion (Kini-Nui | With Forger and Enforcer) "I told you it was a bad idea", he said to Forger and followed him, one hand grasping the handle of the mace hanging from his belt and the other clenched into a fist.
  5. IC: Feli Gemshimmer (Medical bay | With Elly) "Not for long", she said, "I'm just worried that your injuries might worsen if you strain yourself. I don't want to take unnecessary risks, not after I've lost several patients", she paused and sighed, "But if you really need to go, you can, just be careful, alright?" IC: Miira (Sota Colisseum) The nimble Vortixx had been observing Scriva and Berezko from behind a piece of rubble, waiting for them to fight so she could challenge the winner. But one of them simply flew away, leaving the cloaked Toa alone. She raised an eyebrow, but shrugged and decided to attack her. She emerged and threw a knife at her. The dagger sliced through the air but missed the target, hitting the rock wall behind her instead. Miira muttered a curse, drew another dagger and approached her foe. "Hello there. Would you like to dance with me?" she said with a malicious grin. OoC: Attacking Scriva
  6. You're right, we need a 12-person lynching Somebody vote for boat number seven
  7. I vote for boat number 7 There's confirmed scum on board (I could vote for 5 but 7 is my favourite number so no)
  8. IC: Holistic (Refectory | With Shark) I follow the stranger's gaze and see a strong Rahkshi, its armour black and gold. They appeared to be quite irate, judging by their facial expression and the fact that they just pushed a smaller Rahkshi out of their way. I turn to look at the person opposite me and ask "Is that a friend of yours?" Last time I asked such a question from someone, the 'friend' had attacked them. I can only hope it won't happen again.
  9. IC: Derkahn (Circadian Entrance) The Onu-Matoran frowned and muttered something after hearing the stranger call him 'Derkie', but there was little he could do to a man who was almost twice his size. It was far safer and more sensible to just leave before the eccentric stranger would change his mind. He walked outside and breathed in, enjoying the brush of wind on his face and the warm rays of the blazing sun above. He walked towards the only love in his life: The Jatikko, a true beauty of steel and fire. He checked if she was unharmed and went inside the pirate complex. He gathered all the food, valuables and weapons he could find and retrieved his barrel of booze. After loading everything inside the tank, he took his toolbox and tinkered with all the abandoned Armors in the area, making sure that they wouldn't function. He severed wires and pipes, dismantled engines and broke hydraulics. He gathered some useful spare parts and returned to the Jatikko. After climbing inside and sitting down on his leather-covered seat, he sighed and said "It's just you and me, darling. I think it's time to head east and start my life anew, again." The tank's engine roared as it awoke, and Derkahn drove away from the compound, refusing to look back. OoC: Making a few assumptions here: 1) All pirates are very dead 2) All the armors are just sitting outside unguarded
  10. Lucina is also a character from Fire Emblem 'They' is a poor gender-neutral pronoun because it can be misinterpreted as plural. There's a similar problem with the 'you' pronoun, it can refer to more than one person.
  11. It's he. I think. Maybe not, Tex isn't telling Or maybe it's both Or neither Cursed english, why can't you have gender-neutral pronouns like the finnish language? Or maybe Tex isn't even human
  12. IC: Holistic (Refectory | With Shark) "Interesting. The assignment on Visorak sounds too dangerous, the one where you ruined holiday decorations sounds childish and pointless while the mock assasination seems like an ideal assignment. In my opinion assignments should be challenging and dangerous, but there should be a minimal chance of anyone perishing or suffering grievous injuries." I insert some nutriment into my digestive system. "This principal truly seems incompetent. I assume he doesn't listen to any advice or constructive criticism the students might provide?"
  13. Can this topic be moved into Short Stories? I've decided to make this story consist of a single chapter.
  14. IC: Holistic (Refectory | With Shark) There's a moment of silence when both of us remain quiet. Then I decide to ask "Could you tell me more about these 'dangerous' assignments?"
  15. IC: Feli Gemshimmer (Medical bay) Elly noticed one of the healers approaching, a worried expression on her face. "Sorry to interrupt you two, but you should be resting in bed, for you have not yet fully recovered from your injuries." OoC: Talking to Elly/The Enforcer IC: Miira (Sota Colisseum) She stopped when she heard a loud thump, caused by her foe falling to the ground, unconsious. Miira took a deep breath and smiled, despite the pain in her shoulder and arm. One foe lay defeated, which was rewarding and quite satisfying. She gathered her daggers from the ground and started looking for someone else to fight against. OoC: Feel free to attack Miira
  16. IC: Holistic (Refectory | With Shark) I listen quietly and stir the sludge with my spoon. When they finish, I speak. "The funeral could've been a coincidence, but I thought it was unlikely. Looks like I was correct. A Rahkshi did tell me before that fights aren't that common here, but then again, she also said that she hadn't been here for long." I pause and hesitantly consume some porridge. "Murderous Rahkshi and the headmaster's conception of us don't surprise me, for our sole purpose is to kill efficiently, it's what we were created for. I simply hoped that the principal would've seen us Rahkshi as a valuable resource that should be appreciated, but that doesn't appear to be the case. A shame, for Master is like that. He is strict, but also gentle and respectful."
  17. IC: Holistic (Refectory | With Shark) "Many things aren't the worst in perpective. I'm certain this nutriment could be even worse, even if I find it difficult to believe, but that doesn't make it good. And based on what I've seen here so far, the headmaster isn't particularly the best either. For example, I arrived here during a funeral, which was rather ominous, but also quite disappointing. How common are deaths here, and what do you think of the principal?" It seems like I've found someone who can provide me with useful information about this academy.
  18. IC: Miira (Sota Colisseum | Fighting with Drudd) Miira seemed to be equally impressed and surprised by the Rahkshi's tenacity. In a way, she liked it, for it meant that her foe would continue fighting and providing an entertaining challenge. The whole situation reminded her of the years she had spent in the arenas of Stelt a long time ago. But now wasn't the time for nostalgia, and Miira was reminded of this when the enemy swung its staff at her. She barely had enough time to react, and tried jumping to the left in order to avoid the overhead blow, but wasn't quick enough: The metal staff slammed into her right shoulder. "Aih!" she yelped as the pain engulfed her shoulder. The Rahkshi was strong, like the bruisers of Stelt's arenas. She decided to run, now, for she had already injured the Rahkshi quite badly. Its artificial veins were probably full of poison, and it was only a matter of time before they reached the sentient slug inside the armour. Soon the creature would collapse unconsious. As much as she would've loved to continue fighting, the pain in her arm and shoulder was too great.
  19. GRATUITOUS BRUTALITY PLEASES ARMOK but he is disappointed by the lack of magma
  20. IC: Holistic (Refectory) Good to see that I wasn't immediately rejected, and even better to see someone else who also eschews animalistic emotions. "I recently arrived here", I tell them, "So no reason to wonder why you haven't seen me before." I pause and consume a spoonful of grey matter. Is this really the best nourishment the headmaster can afford to acquire? I put down my spoon and look at the stranger opposite me. "How long have you been here, and what do you think of the academy so far?"
  21. I've changed my mind about Maccha Red. Feel free to take him if you want, for I don't want him any more.
  22. IC: Miira (Sota Colisseum | Fighting with Drudd) Miira's eyes widened when the monster didn't just fall over and lose consiousness, but instead swung its staff. She hadn't expected the attack and didn't react in time. The metallic rod slammed into her upper left arm and made her wince in pain. Without years of combat experience and training she would've screamed , for it was no small amount of pain. The dagger in her hand fell onto the stone floor as she unintentionally released her grip. She jumped backwards and retreated away from the metal beast. Soon the poison should knock it out.
  23. IC: Derkahn (Circadian Entrance) How did the stranger know to call him a drunkard? The more time he spent in the same room with the tall 'Toa', the more worried and afraid e became. He stopped one step away from the door. "My name is Derkahn. Der-Kahn. Never call me 'Derkie'. Is there anything else you want?" He had no intention of keeping his old name after he would leave, because he didn't want the crew of Jatikko to find him in the case they survive the puzzles of Circadian. And now this stranger gave another reason to do so.
  24. IC: Holistic (Refectory) Eating alone is rather dull, but a small chat with someone else would easily resolve that problem. I pick up my plate and spoon and notice a bulky Rahkshi sitting alone. Some assume that muscle and strength replace brain and intellect, but I see no reason to believe in such a foolish thing. Besides, from their observant eyes I can see that this isn't the dumbest slug in the puddle. Those eyes are cold and calculating, not brutish and simple. I sit down opposite them and place my plate on the table. This Rahkshi might be the type that prefers to be alone, but such selfish people have always interested me. And if they get angry and threaten me, I can always apologize and leave. "Greetings", I say, not in a friendly nor a hostile tone, "Mind if I sit here?" OoC: Talking to Shark. What's the worst that could happen?
  25. IC: Derkahn (Circadian Entrance) The Onu-Matoran nodded. "Yes, I'm not going to tell anyone. Even if I did tell someone, they wouldn't believe me. I certainly didn't when some Matoran told me about ancient ruins with crabs and glowing screens, I thought he was just crazy or extremely drunk. Don't worry." He continued to move towards the way out.
