"Desolate Jewel" Adventure Brickfilm!
CommanderKumo replied to CommanderKumo's topic in Fan Created Media
Thanks for all of your comments your feedback means a lot to me I'm exceedingly happy with your comments on the fight seen, the movement between sets and matchup of weapons were two of my main focuses for it, and having someone notice it and compliment them makes me smile! Now that I'm a bit more experienced I aim to do a lot less walking sequences you'll be delighted to hear. I have had the backstory between the villain and hero noted down for some time, I'm just hanging on until it is the right time for it so that it doens't distract from the main plot too much. Thanks again for this review -
Hello again Friends! Today I have come to share my latest Lego stop-motion film "Desolate Jewel" it is a sequel to my film Desolate Sands, so I recommend that you watch that first: This sequel Take place immediately after the original, our Hero recollects his previous adventure and it's link to his current one. Please tell me what you think of it and any other thoughts you might have

How do you think Ninjago's quality has held up?
CommanderKumo replied to Aanchir's topic in Ninjago Discussion
Personally I feel that the quality of both has declined. The storyline has become very stretched out and repetitive and feels more like fanfiction than an actual show (the creator even is has written a non-canon "fan fiction" which makes it even more convoluted). I also find the story boring, especially the villains and how the ninja seem to have stalled and shrunk as characters since they first defeated the overlord. I also find that it is taking itself far too seriously. Not to mention all the continuity errors in the show that somehow get past the animation department. Ever since 2014 ended the main appeal of the sets (for me) has been the minifigures as the builds have been undesirable and the parts have no value when the set is deconstructed. However the Samurai X Cave from a few years ago was a big standout, nearly every film I make has used parts from that set because they are so useful. However the minifigures have been getting duller too. Gone are the days of villains with cool new headmolds, and ninja outfits which you could actually tell what the torso was representing. -
I love them! you should be proud of this great work!

Alpha Version of Bionicle: TLoMN Discovered!
CommanderKumo replied to Kopekemaster's topic in Bionicle Discussion
This is the biggest news since G2! Absolutely awesome! There are those who said this day would never come, what are they to say now? But I look forward to the entire community enjoying a playthrough of this once lost grail! -
I don't hate CCBS, I just don't think it suits Bionicle. I think they should have kept with the technic based system it feels more robotic than skeletal and 100% given all the collectibles needed. As for the story I think they should have kept away from already established names such as Tahu and Makuta and tried to be original. The story should've been more mysterious and technological to draw the interest of the computer loving 7 year olds. Maybe a space adventure?

What's Wrong With The Name 'Teridax'?
CommanderKumo replied to Dorkpool's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
Because it sounds like a mixture between a pterosaur and a xylophone. -
It frees up a slot for a space theme hopefully, or Bionicle G3

"Design" Your dream Bionicle set wave
CommanderKumo replied to Pohaturon's topic in Bionicle Discussion
My primary motive in designing this wave is having more masks in the metru-toran colour scheme. The story would be centered in the Toa-Dark hunter war and sets would consist of: A wave of 6 matoran using the Tohunga design, (but uses this piece: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=140515#T=S&O={"iconly":0} to give them mata heads) from 2001, but in never before seen colours. 6 Toa some of from the Toa Mangai and a few from elsewhere, they would be similar to Lhikan but smaller and more to the scale of the Toa mata. Half of them will have recolours of fan favourite masks, and half will have entirely new masks. 6 Dark hunters, the set designer can get very creative with these as they don't even have to look vaguely alike, they could have "shattered" mask pieces which can still fit on a normal head. 3 titan sets, one is a huge Rahi, and two more huge dark hunters, these sets would use recoloured versions of masks in their armour and detailing, the Rahi would include a fleeing matoran in yet another new colour. And their would be masks packs, with all 72 original masks to collect in metru colours, and 12 special edition purple masks, because we never had enough of those.- 4 replies

One gap which would be cool to explore is all the alien civilisations that Mata Nui visited before he crashed on Aqua Magna, they probably had some intriguing stories to tell and interesting cultures to explore. It would have been really awesome if one of them had stowed away on the robot and influenced the matoran in some way

This is very interesting indeed! I hope someone else here can offer some good advice

Hello everyone! the first episode of my Insectoids series is ready, this one is more of a prologue to the main series as it doesn't feature the Insectoids vehicles yet, Episode 2 will be coming in the future. It is inspired by 1950s Sci-fi tropes, I hope you enjoy it please tell me what you think
