  1. Ah, Minamimoto is a tough one.  It's been a while since I last played so I don't have much specific advice, but a general approach of grinding and giving the characters tons of food can help anything.  Also trying out some new threads and psychs.

Oh, and since he's Taboo, try to keep passing the light puck between both characters!  Once that multiplier starts to go up you should start doing some decent damage.  I believe Fusion also bypasses Taboo defense, so if you've missed any upgrades to that I'd say go for 'em.

  2. The gist is that 16 characters from Lego's various constraction lines are put into a tournament bracket, players pay to advertise the matches (and specify which fighter they favor), and whichever fighter sells the most tickets wins and moves on to the next round, while the players who favored that fighter split the profits from the match.  At the end, the Champion will fight the Champion from the previous tournament, and then the game ends and the player with the most money is declared the winner.

I've also determined to give them all terrible titles.  The first was exempt, but then was followed by "Technic Tournament 2: This Time It's Personal!", "Technic Tournament 3 & Knuckles" and "Technic Tournament 4 in 3D."

Here's Tournament 4 if you want a closer look.  Themes for 5 would be Bionicle G1 and G2, Slizers, Galidor, Hero Factory, Knights Kingdom, Star Wars, and RoboRiders.  Darth Vader would be there.

  3. Ah yes, the elusive alolan form torchic...

I wonder what would replace alolan Blaziken's fighting type.

Well if we're switching Fire to Ice, a type that is weak against it, then we should switch Fighting to a type weak to fighting.  I recommend Normal, since Ice/Normal is a type combination that hasn't happened yet.

  4. General consensus is that Super has rendered GT non-canon, or at the very least they are alternate canons.  It's not impossible that GT could still happen, but then there'd need to be a ton of explanations, and it's just not really worth the trouble.

Some of Crunchyroll is premium, yeah, but they also have stuff for free.  Not sure how much though, Super's all I'm watching there at the moment.

  5. Yeah, Super starts a little while after the Buu Saga, though the first two arcs were retellings of the two recent movies (Battle of Gods and Resurrection F) so that’s probably where the confusion comes from.  They’ve done two whole arcs of brand new material since then and are currently on a cooldown period as the next arc gets set up, and like the title said, this arc’s shaping up to have a lot of potential!

If you want my personal opinion, I prefer Super to GT, though admittedly I wasn’t paying as much attention to GT when I watched it.  Super definitely has its faults, but it does have some really nice high points (great comedy, more interesting new characters (and we’re actually starting to get bite-sized chunks of development for some of the older characters!), Super Saiyan Blue looks so much better than Super Saiyan 4).  I do hope they find a way to adapt/rework the Shadow Dragons from GT though, I’ve always adored that concept as the greatest thing to come out of GT by far.

All of Super is up on Crunchyroll with English subtitles for free if you’re interested, and it’s updated every week as they air in Japan.  Plus the English dub just started airing on Cartoon Network—3 episodes in now, so the Battle of Gods adaptation is just taking off.

  6. +1 internet hug

As someone who has taken Option A previously I know situations like this are a very unique brand of horror that are hard to see beyond.  I found going back to be much smoother than I thought it would be, so I’ll echo Tekulo and say don’t worry too much.  Overthinking it is just going to make it seem way worse than it actually was!

  7. The person I was watching sped through it in roughly 2 hours (gameplay and cutscenes, but I mean they were dashing), and I've seen others with about 4-6 hours logged.  There's an accomplishment system for replayability (unlocking decorations you can use to customize Master Aqua's look), plus a secret challenge unlocked by finding 12 special treasure chests, but yeah, it's definitely on the short side.
