  2. I don't really like the Ice Rahi, but the others
  3. awesome organic Kiina ^-^

  4. True 08Paka was so boring.. Still, the first wave of Glatorians were too stereotypical imo.. We got Zelda, Hitech Water guy, Evil Fire bruiser and Evil frozen brawler. Gelu for pwesident
  5. 2003 would've been better if Takua didn't eat all the 3.14 What does this mean? Something from SPIRIT's parody on MOL Also, 43 posts!
  6. Ah well, why not. A topic for all the pessimists and haters out there So the thing is to post three lines of your own. eg: 2003 would've been better if Takua didn't eat all the 3.14... 2007 would've been better if Limegreen pieces didn't break so easily. 2015 would've been better if Lewa could move its head.
  7. Oldschool =D me like v-taper torso: Why don't you attach the legs in the torso instead of on the outsides?
  8. Its got nothing to do with the quantity of parts though. Someone could have used several thousand parts on a entry but if it didn't look good it wouldn't have gotten anywhere in the contest. Not going to debate this, It's not just Roa, it was a bit of the finalists in general. In my opinion, the smaller scale pieces blew some of the larger ones out of the water in terms of unique parts usage, original design, and just being visually pleasant to look at. Yet they placed below other MOC's that only had size as a true contender. It's just a lopsided competition, because there are plenty of Moccers out there that possess the talent, but just lack the funding for models of such scale. Being able to make good-looking small mocs doesn't mean that you can make decent big ones
  9. Grats Roa! now that i recall, when I was eleven, i got your brickshelf folder bookmarked on our pc. kinda funny...
  10. So I was watching this version of the Inika commercial the other day and I thought: Oh that song is just fantastic. Anybody knows what it is? It's not on BS01 No. It's not Move Along
  11. Every 2 years or so there would be a random attack on the archives. They get burned down and all history is lost
  12. Uhuraz stays as awesome as ever ^^ Also, what sorcery is that with the floating mask?
  13. Entry name: Phyran Entry picture: here You can find more info (why is he asymetrical?) and pictures in this topic
  14. worked at this guy for a couple of years now.. might as well finish him for the fancy contest ^^ I removed all the grey rods and blue dots yesterday This one was pretty hard to make ( compared to my other mocs at least). If you look at the back, you'll see: Very few options to attach basically anything to each other. I struggled with the hips for a very long time: I wanted to use a metru limb, but it kept wobbling : / Of course, I only have one golden Kraahkan, but I made him asymmetrical to support that, like he was heavily damaged once and he had to repair himself. I awarely used a 2001 and a 2008 connector on his shoulders for example. left side right side another view of his back his sword (not very imaginative, but good enough to me) He had 17 points of articulation, most of them in the shoulders and upper arms. Which makes him cower behind his shield like a real powerhouse: Never thought I would use Skopio in a MOC. I really like the legs (and that's a first), I used parts from 2002 Threepio. I think this is a good contestant, because he looks like a big, mean cartoony villain actually. This is the folder with the remaining pictures (when public)
  15. Just remove those heads on his arms. And keep the battleskirt-ish, cause it's the most awesome thing in the universe
  16. I think he/she just impaled my soul through the fabric of space and time
  17. Nice use of: the minifig arms on the knees, those old technic pieces on the body, those parts I don't reckognise on the waist, and basically everything else that I didn't mention. Also, awesome handgun.
  18. I like the turaga's torso and the toa's legs ^^
  19. I wasn't hoping for comments anymore. Thanks I actually wasn't sure if i'd keep the Kraahkans, because of those gaps between them and the onua arms (and the lack of articulation)
  20. This week I give you a MOC influenced by starcraft. I made this last winter, but i redid the colours. So it's basically a Zergling, but with the acid bubbles of a Baneling. In the game, the first can evolve into the latter, so it makes a bit sense. (you can look them up on google if you want more artwork and stuff) A ( somewhat wobbly) 360Degree video! http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/mrbionicle360/Zerg/img_5494_2.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/mrbionicle360/Zerg/img_5496_2.jpg A more detailed look of the body and the tail. Also, the tail can move up and down. The Back and the Belly. I tried to make a really heavy carapace, and i love how it turned out. The forelegs are a bit on the short side, but they are supposed to kind of jump, instead of run. Two more pictures of the head. ..And the Brickshelf gallery, when public Edit: Images linked due to their size. Please keep posted images in BBC to 640x640 pixels and 100 kB, about. -Wind-
  21. Finished reading time trap, huzzah

  22. I salute you sir, because that was just awesome
  23. Ohai fellas. It's been a long time since I posted anything. By the way, where are all the old topics? I wanted to read those movie parodies by SPIRIT, but the link was dead Anyways, like a lot of people, I seldom make MOCs anymore. This is one I made about 2 years ago I think, but I finally decided to make some pics of it. I'm not sure if they are good enough. If you want more, I might take a few more this evening. Here Side Back Shoulders As you can see, this one is made solely by pieces from Nidhiki and Krekka, which made it really fun to build, as the possibilities are limited. (less is moar hashtag hipster). I love the head. Usually, I love making torsos but hate making legs and heads. The legs are okay. He has about 240 pieces. legs 42 + 42 arms 17 + 45 head 14 body 80 I like to think that he's the same species as Guardian, with the tusks and all. On his left claw, he's got an attached gun-ish thingiewingie that might disable mechanical apparature, or whatever, i dunno. Something cool. His head When he possibly infiltrated a Toa hagah outpost: Crippler is spotted by an Exo-Toa. He blocks most of the damage with his armored fancysmancy claw. He enrages and charges the exo-toa. He's on top of the robotic guard and pins its boxing claw to the ground, which makes him defenseless. He sends a shock through the exo-toa to disable him, and is about to crack its armored shell for good measure. Oh and this is the brickshelf folder (when made public) I might or might not upload more MOC's in the near future. Comments and thoughs are very welcome ^.^
