My routine here lately is as follows: - Check Front Page for news (Pretty easy to do since my homepage is still that page) - Check the blogs for anything interest - Check Completely Off Topic forum (Mostly just for General Video Games topic there) - Repeat every a hour or so If I am logged in, I usually added this to routine as well: - Check Convention & Event Planning forum - Check BioniLUG Forum (I try to check that forum regularly as I feel like it is good to keep up to date on things since I am member and all.) Honestly I would like add stuff like checking out stories in library forums in my routine, but working 40 hours a week doesn't really leave me motivated to spent several hours on a review like I used to. (Admittedly it might due my experience with the old Critics Club as well since that left a bit of a mental imprint of it being "work" and all.) *shrugs* - JMJ 2015

Hey, folks. It’s been awhile since my last blog entry here, so I thought pop in and give a little recap on last month or so. Really there’s not a lot to talk about since for most part, last month was rather uneventful. I mean I did go to Zelda Symphony last month and had a great time. But I don’t really have much to share about the event though, outside of a couple minor things (I didn’t throw up like at Pokemon Symphony 2014 or BrickFair VA 2015, so that’s good. And I burnt my tongue on some fries that day, so that wasn’t great as my tongue felt all weird for entire of symphony and I didn’t realize why till later. XD) Outside of that though, I just have been back on the normal work routine, which thankfully has start to pick up last month. I don’t know if I mention this here, but work has been dreadfully slow during July & August after we made the change to the new work schedule (Due our chief customer [boeing] not giving us as much production orders, we had overtime hours cut, so our employer wouldn’t have to laid anyone off.). So it feels like a good sign that things did start to pick up last month. Mind you, we are still on the “No Overtime” schedule and honestly I doubt that’s going to change anytime soon. Additionally I will admit I have been sending my resume out to places since I don’t want to be caught off guard, if they do have laid people off. So yeah, that’s my work situation at the moment. I could probably ramble more about work here (Such as one of my co-workers being like the Saint of Food Giving… Honestly that co-worker might just be most generous person I have ever met.), but I doubt my ramblings about work will interest you folks. Let’s move on to something else. Hm… What else did I do last month? Well, I played the awesome indie game, Undertale (So far I only got one of the neutral endings since I hadn’t done a second run yet.). Honestly I could gush over how much I like this game, but I am sure you folks have all heard that already from others here and elsewhere on the internet, so I’ll spare you. I will say this though that I highly recommend checking it out (If you on the fence about it, you should give the demo a look.) and well, if anyone on my Steam’s friends list wants the game, be sure to let me know and I might just sent you a copy of the game. Besides playing Undertale, I also started playing Mass Effect 1 (for first time) since by some stroke of luck; my computer “magically” is able to run after I had finished my first playthrough of Undertale. Just to clarified, my previous attempts to play Mass Effect 1 always result in the game minimizing itself, so I don’t think my computer really couldn’t run it per say. But I certainly don’t know why it did that before or why it works now. (I have a similar issue with Knights of the Old Republic game, which kind of why I still hadn't beat that game. That and well, I am not a fan of the combat in that game. *shrugs*) It’s a mystery. But anyway, my Mass Effect character is named Jamie Shepard (I named her after my Undertale character). She’s an Engineer class soldier and her backstory is spacer and war hero. Although in hindsight, I think I should made her a “Lone Survivor” since I am pretty terrible at the controls in this game (I wish this game had controller support. XD), so occasionally my squad member dies and I have to reload my last save (This game definitely has got me in the habit of saving often like I do in Pokemon games. XD). Garrus and Wrex are so far my favorite squad members (I have brought Wrex with me on almost 100% of side missions that I have done so far). I am currently at the point where you are give free roam of galaxy for first time. So yeah, I am not too far really. I mostly just been doing side quests since well, I want to explore the galaxy before I continue the main story stuff. And man, there are a lot of side quests and so many stories to collect about planets and stuff (I really love world building in this game.). Oh, and here are my Shepard’s current stats and stuff. XD Yeah, I know I am probably investing my points in all the wrong things. Like I probably should put more points into First Aid and Pistols (Especially since that’s only gun that I am trained in since I am an Engineer class.). Alright, I rambled enough about last month. I am sure there are things that I forgot to mention in this entry, but I feel like I have kept you folks here long enough. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have a good day. Talk to you later, BZPers. - JMJ 2015 PS - Just remember I forgot to mention something here... I started watching Gravity Falls & Steven Universe last month as well. I must say I see why people like these shows as I am now pretty hooked on seeing what happens next in both of them. XD

Jedi Master J. commented on Jedi Master J.'s blog entry in blogs_blog_299
@Terton: Well, then I hope you enjoy the book. @xccj: XD I appreciated the help with getting the word out. Thanks. @Lady Kopaka: Congrats! I hope you enjoy the book. @AZBlue, Lord Oblivion: Congrats again, AZBlue & Lord Oblivion. I am glad to hear you both thought that I handle giveaway well. I hope you both enjoy the book when you get it. @johnny_s & Gatanui: Thanks. @bionicleFanatic: Are you from outside North America? I asked because I did notice that on United Kingdom version of Amazon, it doesn't have Kindle version listed, so it might be why you can't find it. I am not sure why it is like that. But United States version of site definitely has the Kindle version listed and here's the link to it. I hope that helps. *** Thank you all for taking the time to comment here and I hope you all have a good day. - JMJ 2015 -
Hey, folks. Its time to announce the winners of my giveaway here. You all excited? Well, here are winners: - AZBlue - Vox of Vinheim - Iben - Terton - Lord Oblivion - Lady Kopaka - MavezIgnikari (As you probably noticed, there are seven winners rather than four winners. That's because I added three extra books to giveaway since I feel like it would make results more fair since there was so many entries.) *** Alright, if you are one of those winners, you should expected a PM from me asking for which version of the book you want (and for your address information, if you choose the physical book), so be on the lookout for that. Well, that's all I have to say really. Actually since I have you all here, thank you to everyone that decided to take part in this. I really appreciate that since I'll admit when I first posted this, I wasn't expecting 67 people to enter in it. XD I imagine that article on front page definitely help this, so thank you to BZP staff for getting word out about it. But anyway, do you folks have any thoughts or criticism on how I handle this giveaway? I would appreciate any tips on improving how I handle these things, so don't be afraid to share them here. Thanks in advance to those that do. Alright, that's enough from me. I hope you all have a great day and thank you for taking the time to read this. Talk to you later, BZPers. - JMJ 2015

Hey, folks. I am back one more time to share some stuff from the vacation last week. I promise I won't talk about it anymore after this entry. So yeah, this is my last entry on the subject (until next year, if I go again). If you hadn't read my day recap, here are some links: Days 1, 2+3, 4, 5 But anyway, enough talk, here's some links to my BrickFair VA pictures: - BIONICLE - Mixed - Mosaic - Towns Apologizes for quality of pictures, these were taken from my TracFone phone and my hands also kind shake a lot when people are nearby, so that doesn't help things either. Oh, and I don't think I got everything (I do think that I got most of BIONICLE Table though), so if you want better coverage of it, you should just wait for BZPower's. I mean they are going to better photos anyway (And it will probably be better organized as I threw a lot into a Mixed folder.). Beside those pictures, I have some from Air & Space Museum, if you are interested. Here's a link to Airplane stuff and Space stuff. I think that's all I needed to share really. I mean I don't want to ramble too much as I am sure you guys are sick of me by now. I am sorry for that. Oh, here's my painting from Nuyaka. And here's what my Brick Badge looked like, if you hadn't seen it yet. Okay, one last thing to share and I'll be gone, its a bit random, but I had this again with me at BrickFair VA. I had it with me mostly because I was considering the idea of giving people a TNG Miru, if they wanted it (I mean I did buy these Miru to give people, after all. Not to hoard in a canister for myself.). That and well, maybe have people sign the comic. I never follow through with that idea. Maybe I'll try again next year. *shrugs* Alright, that's enough rambling about stuff. I'll go back to feeling alone and stuff (And well, watching Original Star Trek since I started that today.). Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you all are having a good weekend. Talk to you later, BZPers. - JMJ 2015 P.S. - I'll be checking out Zelda Symphony again in September. I can't wait. It should be a fun Friday evening.

Day Five of BrickFair VA - Last Day
Jedi Master J. commented on Jedi Master J.'s blog entry in blogs_blog_299
@Black Six: Okay, that's good to hear. Thanks, Black Six. And well, I must admit I am considering coming back again. @ChocolateFrogs: Well, I was involved with your past Mosaic projects here (I still have my three Mosaic Parts actually since I never took them apart.) I also helped Jason [xccj] with a school project thing that he did involving LEGO. I wouldn't be too surprised if that's why my username stood out to you. I do recall in the past considering attending BrickFair VA before and possible staying with you and others. But nothing really came from that as I technically didn't have a way to get down to Virginia back then (Technically I still don't since I don't drive and only manage to do it this time due to kindness of a friend.). Hm... I probably have an archive of that PM somewhere since I tend to keep that kind of thing. But anyway, my point in that part of this entry was that I didn't understand why I was worth hunting for really. I mean I am no one special or interesting really, so I always find it odd when people put a value on me as if meeting me will be highlight of ones' BrickFair experience or something. *shrugs* Still though, it was cool meeting you in person finally. - JMJ 2015 -
Hm... I am pretty sure I met you as I recall someone asking me about where to find Bionicle Raptor (Brappy Hour). If it was you, sorry that I wasn't much help. In hindsight, I probably should of walk with you as I had a hunch that he was the guy near the end of Bionicle table. So yeah, I am sorry about that. Again if it was you. it was nice meeting you and I am glad to hear you manage to find Bionicle Raptor (Brappy Hour) in the end. - JMJ 2015

Day Five of BrickFair VA - Last Day
Jedi Master J. commented on Jedi Master J.'s blog entry in blogs_blog_299
@Aanchir: Yeah, Laser Tag thing was especially awkward thing for me, which is why I was quiet and try to stay far off from other people mostly. But yeah, overall I had a good time and you all are generally a nice bunch as you said. Oh, shoot... I think you are right. I don't know why I remember the badge saying Lyichir on it. Especially since I am pretty sure I call you Scott and I have try mentally engraved in my brain that Aanchir = Scott, Lyichir = Andrew as I know I can't pronounced your usernames. Really I can barely pronounced any BIONICLE names I am not even sure if I say Makuta right when I was talking about Makuta Luroka MOC. I definitely don't know how to say Luroka. XD I am so sorry about that. I'll corrected that. Well, actually I meant after closing ceremonies thing, but I guess you probably still had MOCs to pack up at that point as technically the schedule say MOC tear down happen after that. Either way, I am sorry that I didn't get to say good bye to you both. And well, if I go next year, I hope to see you folks again. @Dina Saruyama: It was after the closing ceremonies around like 7-ish, I guess. I am actually was going to say good bye to Black Six after you, while I was there. But I recalled that he was kind of busy, so I just kind of left after saying, "See ya, Jess" to you. But anyway, I hope you are alright. Sounds like you might have rough final day. =( - JMJ 2015 -
Day Five of BrickFair VA - Last Day
Jedi Master J. commented on Jedi Master J.'s blog entry in blogs_blog_299
@ Zatth (Pablo): Eh, like I said with Lady K, don't sweat it. I wouldn't been that interesting to talk to really. @ Makaru, Not Makaru, Makaru: Oh... *faceplam* I am sorry. I actually thought Letagi had said he was Makaru when he met me, so that's why I drew that conclusion. Although afterwards, I did think it was weird as I didn't recall you being on list of BZPers that say they would be there this year. That and later when I was writing this entry, I noticed that Letagi had me on his list of people that he met and I thought "Wait... I met him? When was that? *scratch head*" Like I was thinking he might of been that guy who left early after public hour, but now I think that must been maybe GSR. XD So yeah, sorry about that. I'll corrected that in the entry here. - JMJ 2015 -
Day Five of BrickFair VA - Last Day
Jedi Master J. commented on Jedi Master J.'s blog entry in blogs_blog_299
@Lady K: Its fine. No need to apologize. I mean you did ask if it was alright, so its my own fault really. So sorry for that. And well, don't sweat it. I wouldn't been that interesting to talk to really. XD Oh, and once again, I am sorry that I was coward today and kind hid by hotel phones area. I want to say good bye, but I am kind afraid to. Sorry. And I guess I'll see you next year, assuming I am there. - JMJ 2015 -
Hey, folks. I am back home now, so I thought I would pop back in and give one last little recap of BrickFair VA here. So as you all probably know already, yesterday was last day of BrickFair VA. So what I do that day? Well, like I said in previous entry, I went in a bit later (Around 1:20 PM) for public hours as well, I didn't feel like standing near my MOCs for another six hours as honestly that can get a bit tiring on the legs after awhile. Also as mentioned earlier, my friend didn't come over that day as he was pretty sore from the laser tag thing, so I guess you could say yesterday was kind what it would been like if I took the trip alone (Although I would argued that I likely shut myself in the hotel room a lot during the first couple of days.). But anyway, when I arrived there, I saw that Makuta Luroka and his friend were already there and they had chairs, so I guess they did the smart thing and figure out where to get chairs at (I didn't do that since I had no idea who to ask and I didn't want to take chairs from more popular area.). Since it looked like they got things mostly covered, I just chilled there and sat on the floor occasionally. Eventually I kind of decided to just play Animal Crossing: New Leaf since I was barely getting any Miis in my plaza. I spent a bit of time removing weeds from the town, removing the bugs from my house, and clearing out streetpass home thing. At some point while I was doing this, I was graced by the presence of BZPower resident dinosaur expert, Jess. That was pretty cool. Although I guess I might have intimidate or shock her a little when I say goodbye to her at the end of convention. I am sorry if I did, I just thought I should say good bye to you is all. Sometime after meeting Jess, Makuta Luroka had to go, so I say my goodbyes to the awesome dude. And well, I decided I might as well use the chair since he wasn't coming back and all. And little bit after that, Team Farm Animals crew came over to do their hatpile thing in the corner. They needed a chair, so I thought I might as well give to them as I was pretty used to standing by now, so I gave it to them. And just before they decided to do this, Makuta Luroka MOC (Like I mention last time, that MOC is really top heavy.) fell over again. I was just leave it be since I don't really have permission to touch it. But while Team Farm Animals were doing their thing, someone from public told me to fix it, so I gently put it back up. So while Team Farm Animals did their thing, I just continue watching over the MOCs basically. XD They ended up doing two versions since apparently they missed some hats. After they were done with that, they head back to area. Although AT and Lady K apparently held back as Lady K apparently noticed that MOCs I was standing near were in fact mines (Lady K knows my real name since I am one of her patrons, which I originally kept that a secret from her and everyone since I didn't want attention for that really. But I kind of let the cat of the bag about that a couple of months ago. XD), so she decided to look at them. Apparently she liked the design of Matoro One and AT like my Kolhii Team names, so that was nice. Thanks for that. At the some point after that, Lady K ask if she could do a selfie with me for some reason (I guess for memory's sake, although why I am worth remembering is beyond me.). Now personally I am not a fan of people taking pictures of me (Much like I am not fan of people entering my personal space to do something like a hug. *shrugs*), but I decided to let her since I didn't see any harm in it really. After that, I was left on my own and just did what I did during Saturday Public Hours mostly, which is be kind and friendly to the public people. At some point, a mother and daughter attendee shown up to sit near their MOCs (Apparently their MOCs were right next to mines and all.) and I decide to give my seat to the mother as I am used standing by now, And well, I end up having a bit a conversation with her and her daughter. It was interesting. Uh, usually I am terrible at small talk, but I did well there for what its worth. (If only I was good at that when I talk to with BZPers here.) I guess offering someone a chair is good way to start a conversation. XD So I did for that awhile and eventually when there wasn't anymore conversations going on, I decide to head over to where Aanchir was sitting as I thought I was on a roll with be sociable and I didn't really get talk much to him throughout this trip (Which I thought was kind of surprising as I like Chir Bros and all), so I decided to do that. It was interesting conversation. I asked if he was having good BrickFair VA, which he say yes to. Although naturally he was sad as it is last day and he won't see a lot of people again until next year (I can't blame him for feeling that way really.). Oh, I like his metaphor of me being like Kellam from Fire Emblem: Awakening as it is very true that I was forgotten a lot. XD Although I can't blame people as I wasn't there a lot during Wednesday through Fridays. That and let's be honest I am pretty dull person in general as I did spent good part of BrickFair VA pacing around when I was there. XD After that, I kind let him go back to rest and head back to my section. I talked a bit more with mother and daughter pair. Eventually the public ended and the mother and daughter pair decided to start packing up their MOCs as they were planning on leaving to get a meal and come back for Closing Ceremonies. Before they left, I realized I never did tell them my name (Its not JMJ obviously.), so I did that. And well, I was alone again, so I packed up my MOCs for Black Six and gave them to him (Please tell me you took that box, Black Six. I am kind of scared that you left it.). I attended the closing ceremonies. Not much say about that since I wasn't lucky. XD After that ended, I was kind like "I guess I should leave." I mean I want to say good bye to Chir Brothers, but I wasn't sure where to find them. I ended up saying good bye to Sumiki and Pablo though. Also oddly I have no problem with Pablo hugging me good bye (I am not sure why exactly. I must of been in a real good mood that day.). Then again, I was going to hug Sumiki, if he wasn't holding a box. XD The last person at the convention that I said good bye to was Jess. I apologize again, I just thought I should say good bye to you is all. After that, I kind headed back to hotel and I thought that was going be it for the day. But I kind offer online that if anyone want to say good bye to me. I could meet them in the lobby at the some point. And Black Six let me know that they meeting there anyway before they headed off to their fancy dinner. I wasn't going to go to dinner though as I didn't pack anything for that and I am a really pick eater (Trust me, my friend can confirmed this.). Still I went down to say good bye to people, if they want say bye to me and stuff. And well, I met ChocolateFrogs and Not Makaru in that lobby. That was interesting. Especially ChocolateFrogs, who for some reason was trying to hunt me down or something. He never explain the reasoning for that really. But he kind of left before I can find out why, so I never did. And then more professionally dressed adults show up, Black Six shook my hand, and that was it. I say good bye. I went back to elevator to go to my room on third floor. I ate some pizza (My friend had brought Pizza, while I was away at the convention) and watch some Youtube stuff. That was last day of BrickFair VA for me. Overall I thought it was pretty fun trip. I got to meet some cool people, check out the Air & Space Museum, see a cool movie (Ant-Man), had a conversation with some people, saw some cool creations, ect. Would I go again? I am not sure at this point. It is certainly possible. Although it wasn't very cheap by any means (I mean hotel stay cost like $582.40! Oh, that's going to be fun paying off at the end of the month.). So if there was any reason not to go would be money related really. *shrugs* And well, my friend did have a good time during the trip, so it is possible that we might do it again. Or I might do it on own. We'll see, I guess. Its still a year away, so it is hard to say either way at this point. Alright, that's enough rambling. I'll probably have my pictures and stuff up later in the week as I am too tired to deal with that now. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have great week. Talk to you later, BZPers. - JMJ 2015

Hey, folks. I thought I would give another BrickFair update before I start the last day of BrickFair. Really there's not a whole lot to recap as outside of watching over some MOCs during the public hours and answer people's questions, if they had any. Well, I answered them to best of my abilities as I don't know everything (I am like John Snow... I know nothing. XD), especially about other people's MOCs, where I am like "Yeah, that's a snake." XD One person even ask me if we were payed to be show our stuff here and when I actually explain that we payed to be here, let's just say they looked at me like I had two heads as if it was that abnormal for people to do that. *shrugs* Still though, public hours weren't bad really. I enjoy seeing people's faces beam when they saw the MOCs on display. The Makuta Luroka MOC (It is very top heavy) was definitely the most popular at the table I watched (It is pretty awesome looking MOC. Much better than my stuff, that's for sure.). Oh, and I got to meet the person, Makuta Luroka, as well. That was pretty cool. He also holds the record for longest period of talking to me. Congrats, you beat AT. XD I also met someone from BZP that go by Unit, I think. I am not sure if that is right though as it was kind of hard to hear him. But he had asked me where to find Bionicle Raptor (Or Brappy Hour as he has been known as since last year, I think.), but I have no idea what he looked, so I wasn't much help really. Sorry. There was some other BZPers around too, but I didn't really meet them, so I don't know who they are on BZP really. Oh, I met DeeVee for second time (High five him even) and met Nuyaka for first time as they delivered the a painting commission thing that I brought from Nuyaka back in December (It was holiday charity BrickLink thing.), so that was cool. I'll upload a photo of it when I am home tomorrow (Although if you are impatience, just check my Twitter as I upload a photo of it there already.). Its basically just a painting of Lucina from Fire Emblem: Awakening as a Minifigure. I think it looks fantastic and I look forward to bring it home. Thanks again, Nuyaka. Outside of public hours, the only thing that I attended was Laser Tag party thing, which I must admit that I wasn't the most comfortable there really. My friend had good time at laser tag though, so that's good (Although unfortunately now it hurts all over when they move, so they might not be with me today due to that.). I can't say I was very good at it though as I didn't have a clue what I was doing really. XD Overall, it wasn't a bad evening really and I enjoyed the slice of Pizza, I ate. Thanks for pizza & laser tag, BZPower. Sorry, I wasn't very talkative there. I just don't know what to say to people really. But anyway, after laser tag thing, we head back to hotel room and honestly I was pretty tired from the day at that point, so I just went bed around 7 PM. So yesterday is most sleep that I got all week really. XD That was Saturday basically. I can't think of anything else to mention really. Before I go, I guess I'll mention my plan for today. At the moment, I am planning on heading over around 1:30 PM and well, I probably be there till closing ceremonies (Although I might step out for dinner, ect.). My friend might not be with me since he is pretty sore from yesterday. Alright, that's enough rambling. I guess I'll see some of you folks later. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have great week. - JMJ 2015

Hey, folks. I thought I would give another BrickFair update. So as title suggests, Friday is technically third day of BrickFair VA. Although for me, it is technically the second day as well, we skipped Thursday as mention in previously entry. For those wondering why, I promise my friend that we would take a day away from convention to check out local sights such as the Air & Space Museum and Thursday just seen like best day to do. Although I am sad that I miss out on seeing "How LEGO Impacts Our Lives" seminar on Thursday. Hm... I guess I'll take a moment really quick to tell you all what exactly we did on Thursday. Basically we got to check out the Air & Space Museum (Which I must say it is really cool and personally I recommend seeing it, if you ever get the chance. I also got like 552 photos of that place on my computer. I'll probably share some of those pictures with you all later when I return home.) and I got to watch the Marvel film, Ant-Man (Which was also pretty cool... I should probably watch more Marvel films. This is like third Marvel film that I have seen so far.). But anyway, back on to Friday's recall, the day started with me being a worry wart like usually (Which did nothing but make me more tense about stuff.). I ended up taking a couple of walks around the Holiday Inn as a result, which did help relieve some of those worries as weather today was just so calming compared to previous days that it did well, to get my mind off things. Eventually we left the hotel to go to an IHOP for breakfast / lunch, which was nice (Although I still don't have much of appetite as I can't seem to finish any meal that I start during this trip. *shrugs*). After the meal, we decided to play some Mini-Golf since the weather was nice enough for it. It was good idea (Especially since we were using it to kill some time as we wanted to check out the seminar on "The LEGO Design Process" later.), but unfortunately I ended up going down the hill for second hole too fast to go after my ball and well, I tripped scratched up my right arm pretty bad. So yeah, it kind of ruin the mood of the day and I was rather irritable throughout the rest of golf course as well, I was in pain and all. (For those wondering why we just didn't stop the game right there, I really didn't want to ruin the outing, so I decide to just keep trucking.) That injury pretty much derailed the seminar plans as we felt that I should take easy after returning to hotel. We eventually up playing some local co-op stuff on our 3DSs, which was fun. Although after awhile, my friend shifted gears to a single player game, so I decided to go out for another walk to collect dinner. And well, after eating, I decided that I was going to walk over to convention center since I was curious about what things looked like now. And man, there was a lot cool stuff on display. I ended up going around taking photos till my phone died. Once that happened, I just head back to hotel, so I could go charge it and come back later. It took awhile though, so I didn't get back to convention until an hour before World of Lights thing. My friend decide to join me this time as he wanted to see what World of Lights was about, so we went over. Took some pictures of displays until lights were dimmed / turned off (Well, my friend was able to get pictures of some of the World of Light stuff since he had a better camera than I as I only got a phone camera and all.). I thought World of Lights was pretty cool and I walked around a few times till I felt that I saw them all. After awhile, I decide to just sat down near my MOCs and have a break from walking. That's about it really. I mean we eventually head back to the hotel, so we could sleep and all. Well, i guess I'll mention what BZPers that I talk to that day. For most part, it was just Aanchir & Lyichir (Who shown me there really cool poster of Generation 2 Gali that they won during the auction that day.) and AT (Who ask me how the trip was going, ect.). That was nice. There were other BZPers around and all, but I never buck up the courage to say anything to any of them. And that was Friday basically. It was certainly an interesting day. That's for sure. XD But anyway, its Saturday now, so hopefully I'll be around a bit more today. And well, if there are still tickets for BZP Party thing tonight, I guess I'll pay Black Six the fee today since AT convinced me to go and all yesterday. Alright, that's enough rambling. I guess I'll see some of you folks later. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have great week. - JMJ 2015

Hey, folks. I thought I pop in and let you know how day one of BrickFair went. Honestly I didn't do much really, outside of walk around the convention center a lot since I wasn't sure really what to do really after setting up my MOCs (Which I am not sure they are in the right place. I mean the map say its a BIONICLE table, but I have heard Pop Culture want the space, so I wouldn't be surprise if it got moved. *shrugs*). Oh, and fail a lot at Bingo. It was nice though getting to see some BZPers in person. Mind you, it is not the first time for such people like Aanchir, Lyichir, Team Farm Animals, and Black Six. But well, I got meet people like Lady K, Vezok's Friend, TLH, Turakii, and TLH's & Turakii's kid (Adorable child, btw) for first time, which was cool. Although I was pretty deer in headlights around them. Sorry. But overall, I would say it was good first day (It was pretty exhausting day too. XD). I mean I did vomit in a Burger King parking, but honestly that's par for the course considering it always happens when I do anything new really. That's about it really. Uh, I guess I will see some of you folks again on Friday since I won't be in today as I am going to being checking out some sights and stuff today with my friend. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have great week. - JMJ 2015

@Ryuko Matoi: Well, that's good to know. Although at this point, I think I might pass on the event. A single day here has already made me really exhausted. I can only imagine it being worst by Saturday. *shrugs* @Lycihir: Yeah, I seen the schedule. But I did promise my friend to have at least a day outside of the convention, which is why Thursday is no show for me. As for Brickumentary thing, my friend isn't too interested in it and I am rather indifferent about it. *shrugs* That and the tickets are sold on Thursday at 10 AM, which was the day that we skipping and all. So I don't think I will check that out. The Friday stuff though, I will consider checking out as they sound interesting and all. Oh, it was nice seeing you at the convention today. - JMJ 2015

Hey, folks. I thought I pop in and give update since BrickFair VA tomorrow. Man, today was a whirlwind of day preparing for that (I am glad that I decided months ago to take off today from work. It was definitely was needed.). XD But well, I managed to get all my luggage ready. I got some of our schedule a bit more nailed down (Admittedly I would like to have done that a bit sooner than today, but my friend was busy last weekend.), which I guess I will share here really quick: Wednesday - Leaving at 10 AM (Originally it was going to be 7 AM... But due to the check in time, we kind had to change that plan as we probably would gotten there at like 9:30 AM, which means we would have keep our luggage in hot car for quite a few hours as we can't check in till 3 PM. However according to phone conservation, the earliest check in without an additional charge is 1 PM.). - Arrival Time in Virginia be around 12:50 PM (Assuming there is not too much traffic and stuff) - Have a quick lunch, then head to hotel to check in (As mention before, it should be around 1 PM at that point) - After checking in and carrying our stuff to the room, we will probably take a rest in hotel room for a bit - Currently we shooting to head over to convention center around 3 PM and well, we should be there for most of day after that (We might step out for a quick dinner at some point) Thursday - The plan right now is to skip the convention day and check out some of local stuff like the Air & Space Museum, ect. Friday - I am not completely sure about, but I think we will be around later in the day for convention. *shrugs* Saturday - I should be around most of public hours (I might step out for like meal or something). I am not sure about after that as we were talking about idea of maybe checking out the laser tag event thing. Although my friend is not BZPower member, so I am not sure if he would be allow to come with (I mean we would both pay the fee to go and all.). *shrugs* Sunday - Again, I should be around for public hours and closing ceremonies stuff. That and I will be around to help with MOC tear down stuff obviously (Which I assume I give my MOCs off to Black Six after that as I am letting BZP take them to BrickFair NJ). That's about it really. I look forward to meeting you awesome folks and getting to experience a little what like behind the table. Hopefully I won't be a total social failure there. Uh, I guess I will see some of you folks later. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have great week. - JMJ 2015

Hey, folks. I thought pop back in today and let you all know how things are going this week. Mostly in terms of a BrickFair VA stuff as hey, the trip next week, so its time to run around like a headless chicken as I try make sure I have everything ready. XD Before I start on that though, I thought I take a moment and wish BZPower a happy birthday since I hadn't done that yet. Happy Birthday, BZPower! As I mention in my previous entry, thank you for so many years of great memories and here's to many more. Alright, with that done, let's back on to the topic of BrickFair VA. First up, I decided on what MOCs that I will be bringing with me. Originally I was going to ship them, but I kind decided last week that I would just bring them with me since it will save money on shipping cost. That and I kind got sidetracked working on my tenth year anniversary gift to BZPower. So yeah, I am bring my MOCs with me, which is probably for the best since it would be kind weird going to a LEGO convention without any LEGO on you (It also avoids me having awkwardly ask Black Six if I could help with my MOCs. XD). Really I only issue that I have with my MOCs (Beside, the fact that they are not that good.) at the moment is I am struggling to think of names for them. It mostly an issue because I need to fill out the forms for both BZPower and BrickFair VA website (Yes, I am aware I won't get MOC Cards since I miss the deadline, but you can still registered there. However I do need to at least do BZPower convention form as I plan on letting BZPower take them to next convention.). Beside that MOC stuff, I believe I am mostly ready for the trip (Although I must admit I am kind of nervous already.). I am going to head to the bank tomorrow to get some cash for the trip and pay my rent obviously (Next month's bills are going to be fun to pay... XD). I also got my BIONILUG brick ready, so it finally have a use next week. Schedule wise, we will be coming down on Wednesday. I am not sure when we will get there exactly, but I am guessing we will be in Virgina by noon or a little earlier (It depends on traffic really.). Although we won't be at convention center till after 3 PM since we can't check into hotel until 3 PM, according to website. So we are probably going to kill some time by checking out the Air and Space Museum nearby. Based on my last conversation with my friend, we are probably skip out on Thursday to check out other things nearby and Friday, we will be around during the afternoon hours. As for Saturday and Sunday, we should be there for most of those days as far as I am aware. That's the basic schedule for our trip. I am going to try nail it down some more this weekend with my friend, so if anything changes I let you folks know. That's about it really. I can't think of anything else to mention, although I probably did forget something. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have a great day. Talk to you later, BZPers. - JMJ 2015 P.S. - Check out my 10th anniversary gift, if you hadn't already.

Hey, BZPers. This is a bit late, but yesterday was my tenth year anniversary of being BZPower and well, since it is milestone, I thought I would do something special for the day. Now originally I was planning on maybe doing a contest for this milestone. But since I am going to BrickFair VA this year, I thought it would be a better idea to play things a bit more safe. So what did I do instead then? Well, I purchased this a bit earlier in the month and I thought I should share this piece of history with everyone. I should note the VHS tape have nothing of value as it was nothing but static and weird noises (If it did have anything of value, I was planning on giving the footage to BZP.). So yeah, here's the scanned copy of the two books: BIONICLE - Style Guide (Note: You will have download this one as its too big to show up on Google Docs) & BIONICLE - Synopsis. There was also two CDs in the Style Guide binder, although as far as I can tell there is nothing in them that binder doesn't already shown. The CDs are basically just a digital version of the Style Guide (But well, it is not in format that I think I can share with others easily unfortunately.). The CDs do give me access to images reference in the Style Guide's Gallery, so if you want me to upload those somewhere for you folks, just let me know. Oh, and the Market Material section in Style Guide was empty and I guessing it was taken out by LEGO maybe. Most of Style Guide has the stuff that we already knew about 2001 thru 2003. There are some errors here and there such as some Kanohi Nuva Mask descriptions being next to wrong images and it uses what I assume was prototype name for Mask of Light at the time. As for BIONICLE - Synopsis, one interesting thing about that document is that it shows Greg's version of Shadow Toa defeat (I am not sure if he wrote that document though.), which I think is sort of new as that version of defeat was only mention in a guide book before as Cathy Hapka did not use that idea and chose the "switching opponent" method instead. That's all I think that's worth mentioning. I hope you folks like it. And thank you BZPower for ten years of great memories. Here's to ten more years. XD Alright, that's enough from me for today. Talk to you later, BZPers. - JMJ 2015

Hey, folks. It been awhile since I wrote an entry here, so I thought I pop in today and give you all an update. As the title states though, I actually meant to post this sooner, but I kind of got sidetracked with other stuff on Sunday. That was mostly because I was reorganizing the basement as we got a new shelving unit on Saturday… I would take some pictures to show you how it looks, but basement is still a bit of a mess as I didn’t have a whole lot time to look through some old junk, ect. But anyway, I think I am getting a bit ahead of myself here. I mean that was the end of my vacation week, after all. Let’s rewind a bit. First though, I think I’ll explain why I was off last week. So this week and last week are what my employer calls shutdown weeks, which are basically their recommended time to take your vacation time and they serve as maintenance weeks since they do a lot of cleaning in the shop during these weeks. Most people at my work are entitled to at least two weeks vacation (You also don’t have to take your vacation time during shutdown weeks.). Although it varies depending on how long you have been there. For me personally, I am only entitled to two weeks vacation (And well, I won’t be getting three weeks until four years from now.). Now usually I only take one week off (And it is usually the first shutdown week, which is the week of July 4th) as it means my second week check is basically a bonus check as I basically get paid twice for a single week, which it is kind of nice. Of course, I am kind of breaking that tradition as I will be taking that second week to go down to BrickFair VA, so no bonus week paycheck this year. But well, hopefully BrickFair will be worth giving up that extra check. Alright, that’s enough explaining. Let’s get back on topic, shall we? As you already know, I was off from work last week, so the question now is: What did I do during my week break? Honestly not a whole lot really. I did managed to do at least some of my goals for the week such as renew my photo ID (It was going expired at the end of the month), get a hair cut, and confirmed my reservation at Holiday Inn (Although admittedly I kind have a nagging feeling that they create a new reservation rather than update the one that BrickFair VA website place… I am going to have see about calling them back this weekend.). The only goals that I didn’t meet last week were my BZPower related ones really, which were getting my MOCs ready to ship, checking out Bionicle Generation 2 story, and working on a secret project. Well, in the case of the secret project, I have confirmed that one of things involved with it can’t be done, so that’s stinks. I’ll just have to make due with what I have. Hopefully you folks will like it when you see it. As for MOCs goal, I think I might need your folks’ advice on what to send. Here are some pictures of MOCs that I am considering sending. Although I should note that I will probably will make some changes to a few of MOCs as some of them still have WIP elements. I am curious though to hear any of your thoughts on them. So if you have any thoughts, feel free to share them. Thanks in advance, if you do. Beside that stuff, I managed to completed a couple of video games from my Steam library last week. Those games were Her Story & Batman: Arkham Asylum. I thought they both were pretty interesting, especially Batman: Arkham Asylum. Like once I started playing it, I just couldn't stop. I spent a good amount of three days exploring the Asylum and trying to find everything I could in the game (I managed to get all Riddler trophies.). So yeah, I rather liked the game and I look forward to checking out Batman: Arkham City at some point. Hopefully it will be just as fun as Arkham Asylum was (Although I imagine finding all Riddler trophies will be quite a task in it considering City looks more open world and stuff.). Uh... That's about it for my vacation last week. Oh, wait... I didn't mention that I checked out my first gaming convention on June 27th. Really I would go on about that here, but I already ramble enough about it on my Tumblr, so I'll spare you the details as I doubt you will want to read the wall of text recap that I wrote there. But yeah, I had a fun day at that convention with some friends (It is called, "Too Many Games" Con for those wondering.) and I got to see Jurassic World later (I ended up seeing it twice during my vacation since my sister wanted to see it too.). Personally I liked Jurassic World for what it was. I won't say it was a perfect film, but it certainly was entertaining and had its moments. *shrugs* Alright, that's enough from me for today. I hope you all have a great day and thank you for taking the time to read this. Talk to you later, BZPers. - JMJ 2015

Hey, folks. I thought I would take the opportunity today to share some of my thoughts on this year’s E3. Bethesda - Overview So first up is Bethesda since they were the first conference, I saw this year. Now I got to be honest I am not really that familiar with Bethesda. I mean I hadn’t play any of their games before (Although I do “own” Dishonored & Skyrim on Steam. I just hadn’t gotten around to playing either of those game.), so I am not sure really how to judge their conference as I had no expectations for it. Therefore, I would probably take my thoughts here as a grain of salt really. Not that I really had a problem with conference. I actually thought they did pretty well in terms of coverage for the games. Although personally I can’t say I care for some of their games (Such as Doom & The Elder Scrolls: Legends). Really the only games from the event that interested me were Dishonored 2 and Fallout 4. I care about Dishonored 2 mostly because while I have not play the first game yet, I am familiar with the game since I did watch a Let’s Play of it (By Youtuber, Jesse Cox, for those wondering.), so I am glad to hear there will be another game in that universe. And well, the trailer was pretty awesome and shown off Emily as a playable character. As for Fallout 4, I mostly care abut it due to high levels customization shown off in the trailer and because it looks like it could be fun. *shrugs* I admit I am not completely sold it since it does feel kind weird jumping into a series at fourth installment. Hopefully it will be easy to get into, if I do consider getting it in the future. Alright, that's all I have say on Bethesda conference. Oh, and feel free to suggest some Bethesda PC games to me since like I say I hadn't play any games from them before, so I am interested to hear if there are any that I should check out. Thanks in advance. Microsoft - Overview Next up is Microsoft conference and I'll admit I am not fan of Microsoft really. It mostly because they kind of "killed" Rare Studios. So with that biased in mind, I would say their conference was alright. They actually showcase some interesting indie stuff. But outside of that, I was kind bored with their presentation, especially when they were talking about Halo or that car game. XD Uh, the games that interested me (if I had an Xbox One) were the following: - ReCore - Beyond Eyes (Hoping for PC release) - Tacoma (Again, hoping for PC release) - Cuphead - Rare Replay - Sea of Thieves Outside of that, the HoloLens presentation was kind cool. I am interested to see what might come from that technology. Another cool thing that they announced the Xbox One will now be backward compatibility (It feel a bit late) with Xbox 360. I mean it doesn't interest me personally as I own neither system, but it was a nice thing for Microsoft to do. Alright, that's all I have say about Microsoft. Electronic Art & Ubisoft - Overview I hadn't watched either of these two, so I can't really comment on how they did or if there was any games that I was interested in. Uh, I don't feel like watching either of them right now. XD So I guess that sums up my thoughts on them pretty well. Uh, I might update this later with some thoughts. In the meantime, you are welcome to share what you thought was great about those conferences here. Sony - Overview Okay, it is time for thoughts on Sony conference. Now unlike Microsoft, I like Sony. Mostly because they seem to have a lot more variety when it comes to games (That and well, the Kingdom Hearts series is primarily on their systems. XD). Although I should note that I don't own a PS4 and I have no intention of getting one till at Kingdom Hearts III has been released, assuming it actually end up on PS4. =P But anyway, enough about my bias, personally I thought Sony did the best out of these E3 conferences. Like I really felt like they hit it out of park with these cool titles: The Last Guardian, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and No Man's Sky. They also announce stuff like a remake for FFVII and a sequel to an old Sega game, Shenmue III. Personally I am not too excited about those as I am not too familiar with either series, but it was still a cool announcement and I am sure the fans of both series are happy. They shown some footage from Batman: Arkham Knight, which reminds me that I should check that series out sometime. I mean it has my favorite Batman (Kevin Conroy) in it and looks interesting. So yeah, I might have check that out sometime. I actually got Batman: Arkham City from a friend recently on Steam (Thanks again, Makuta Luroka.). Although I should probably play the series in order, so I'll have to see about getting Arkham Asylum. One last thing of interest from Sony Conference was Uncharted 4. I am not really familiar with the series, but it looks might be kind interesting. Hm...Speaking of Uncharted series, is the series worth checking out? I do have PS3, so if the previous games are on there, I guess I could play them sometime in the future, maybe. That's all I have say about Sony Conference. Nintendo - Overview Its Nintendo time! I don't think I need to explain my bias for Nintendo since I think it is pretty obvious that they are my favorite of three major console companies. And well, I have played Nintendo products for majority of my life. So yeah, I definitely I am bias about them. That being said, I thought this year's E3 announcements were kind lackluster and to be honest, I was kind expecting that after they announced that Zelda U has been delayed and wouldn't be show off at E3 this year (I understood the reason for delay and all, but it would been nice to have seen more of development at least.). I mean not that I am saying they needed a Zelda title to make this E3 awesome or something. I just mean that based on previous Directs from this year, it didn’t feel like they had a lot going on when it comes major titles, outside of Xenoblade Chronicles X and Star Fox (I didn’t include Yarn Yoshi in this list because I don’t think it will be system seller for Wii U.). *shrugs* Still though, for what it is worth, they had one of most entertaining conferences since that Muppet opening was pretty great (I would love to see those Muppets again in the future.). But anyway, since this is Nintendo, I am going share all my thoughts on what they announced today: - Earthbound Beginnings (Or as it is originally known, Mother 1): I’ll admit I probably would prefer to have gotten news that a remake was being made of Mother 1 rather than an updated port as Mother 1 is the most dated (Especially in terms of sprite graphics.) of the trilogy. Of course, as soon as I heard the news, I instantly went to the eShop and brought it because I wanted to show my support for the Mother series. Furthermore, I am curious to see how it compares to its sequel, Earthbound. That and well, I am hoping this might convince Nintendo down the line to release Mother 3 here too. - Super Mario Maker: While I hadn’t really seen any of Treehouse stuff for it yet, it looks like it will be pretty cool, based on what I seen from the Digital Event. I am looking forward to its release. I might even try to attempt the Best Buy thing this weekend for it. XD - Star Fox Zero: I must say this title looks like it should be fun. But man, I wish they could had this as a demo at Best Buy. XD Also Wonderful 101 Director, Hideki Kamiya, loves you. - The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes: I am not sure what think of this game really. I am tempted by it due to multiplayer element, even though I doubt anyone would want to play online with me. XD - Hyrule Warriors Legends: I already own the Wii U version (And I am nowhere near done it), so I don't see much a reason to get it as it is pretty much the same game, but with some bonus Wind Waker characters. *shrugs* - Metroid Prime: Federation Force: Uh, I can't say I care for this one way or the other. Although I do think that it might been a better idea to make a new 2D Metroid game rather than a spinoff. But well, maybe it will surprise me. - Fire Emblem: Fates: I am pretty hype for this game, although I hope they don't make me have to buy the game three times to get the whole experience. Additionally I also gotten word that marriage will be thing again, but it doesn't look like same-sex marriages were included, which is extremely disappointing... *sigh* - Genei Ibun Roku X FE: Honestly I don't know what to think of this game. I should probably watch some Treehouse stuff on it as this trailer really tells me nothing. XD - Xenoblade Chronicles X: THE HYPE IS ON FIRE! Yeah, I am mega hype for this game. I am so glad we finally got a release date. - Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer: I am kind of interest in this. Mostly because I am curious about the gameplay element and how Amiibo cards work. - Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival: I'll be honest I am only interested in this for the Amiibo figures. XD The game itself, I don't think I would have anyone to play it with. - Yoshi’s Wolly World: I loved Yoshi's Island as a kid, so naturally I am pretty excited about this new Yoshi game and I look forward to play it. Also I must have those special Yoshi amiibo! XD - Yo-Kai Watch: Eh... I don't really care either way about this. I got enough games to deal with as it is. XD - Fatal Frame: Madien of Black Water: I am bit disappointed that they kept this out of Digital Event, although I understand the reasoning. As for my thoughts on it, I am actually interested in it. I watched someone play one of older games in the series before, so I think I will give this game a try. - Chibi-Robo: Zip-Lash: Like Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, the Amiibo packed with this is mostly what I care about. - Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam: Okay, I am not familiar with Paper Mario series. But I do enjoy Mario & Luigi series, so I am interested what will come from this. I don't know if I will buy it at release though. - Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash: Eh... Yeah, I can't even pretend to care about this game. And those were my thoughts on the Nintendo conference. Obviously I didn't hate it or something, but it definitely wasn't the ideal E3 event with announcements on big secret projects that making me go, "Take my money, Nintendo." Square Enix - Overview Honestly there wasn't a whole lot of interesting things going on at Square's presentation. Really the only noteworthy things from it were Kingdom Hearts III trailer and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided trailer, which generated major hype for me. I was especially hyped by the Kingdom Hearts III trailer, even though the game won't be coming out until like 2017 or later. XD *** And that's all my thoughts on this year's E3. Feel free to share your own here, if you want. Alright, that's enough from me for today. I hope you are having a great week and thanks for taking the time to read this. Talk to you later, BZPers. - JMJ 2015

Honestly that KH3 trailer is highlight of my night. I am just so excited. - JMJ 2015
