  1. I only ever saw the first episode, out of curiosity what all the fuzz is about. I gotta say, the quality for a kids show is amazing and I for one am glad there's something good out there.

But, back in topic, suffice to say I did not watch the show since, though I don't mind it and have been more focused on fighting intergalactic wars and benchpressing. Hope that restores some faith in mendom XD

  2. Glad to see there are other people playing were-Argonians ^^

My char's quite an all-rounder with a tendency towards warrior .I did use some console-codes on perks, which technically is cheating but I'll play the game the way I want ;) It doesn't make leveling up easier either, just allows more freedom in what weapons can be used effectively.

So far I've logged 75 hours.

Best RPG I've played so far.

  3. Machines do not judge. They do not have a moral sense of right or wrong. If legion says they can be peaceful it's because the 1k+ platfrom active in him all agree that it is so.

Therefor rewriting is always an option ^^

But then again blowing it up means it's only heretic geth. Any other should be docile.

  4. I believe the rank comes from the US Naval rank "Master Chief Petty Officer," and the Bungie people just shortened it a bunch. Though, from what I know/observed, a lot of people just refer to a MCPO informally as "Chief." Although I never really thought of it like a nickname, I just figured people called John "Master Chief" like how a lot of soldiers refer to a Sergeant as "Sarge" informally.

But eh, I enjoy Halo for mindless fun with friends. The story... it's kind of overrated, though. (I could be wrong on the top bit, as I'm just basing it off my experience with enlisted Navy personnel, and off Navy cadets who tend to refer to the MCPO as "Chief.")

Spot on Spink ^^ But most of the time he's just referred to as "Chief" in-game too.

As for Halo's story, the oddest thing is how they got the idea that putting 7ft aliens into purple and other flash-coloured armour would be intimidating XD

As for Smeag...if you don't like the term Chief, why not change it to Chef? You do like food, right? XD

  5. Oh yeah, you draw that Vampire like a boss XD

Seriously though, it looks pretty cool.

The proportions are a little off though. The left shoulder (from his perspective) should be smaller and the top of the hat as well so it rest on the head, no around it.

The upper body is a bit long compared to what we can see of the legs, but that's ok, the original is a little out of proportion at times as well. It's a stylistic device ^^

And the Hands could use some work, but that will come with practice.

All in all you did a great job!

  6. Okay, the character's moniker isn't necessarily an important factor, but I've gotta say that "Master Chief" is the most hilariously insipid and banal name I've ever heard. How long did it take for them to think that one up?

But hey, like I said, probably isn't a big deal.

They probably thought which military rank would suit a giant space warrior-man.

Now you're Master Chief Smeag...the name makes sense!

  7. Ashley's alright once you talk that anti-alien attitude out of her.

As for importing the ME1 save...it's usually a piece of cake on Win...just open the config program from the autorun menu and go to the import save-games...but then again you've struggled with this so much you'd probably go into bloodrage if it turned out to be that simple now ^^

  8. Actually, I may have finally found a working emulator, so I'm fine with this. :P And you say replaying ME1 like a bad thing?

    Oh good for you! ^^

Not a bad thing in and off itself, buuuut I still need to get through ACII and Brotherhood, then see if I can get portal 2 and THEN play ME1 ontop of that. A little cramped if you ask me. XD

  9. I have an explanation for the thing about Leia remembering Padme. In the novelization of Ep. III, it is stated quite clearly that Luke has his eyes closed when he's born and Leia has hers open, which explains why Leia only remembers images.

Yes, it's a pathetic and somewhat ridiculous explanation that I don't particularly like, but there you have it.

    - :l: :flagcanada:

Except nobody would remember the first five seconds of their life and even if somebody could I bet they'd rather remember how hard it was to get that first breath of air...

I guess we can assume that Lucas failed on that one...big time.
