raid's a general MMO term meaning "a really hard, really long dungeon requiring the most people the game supports at once killing bosses in stages" and usually drops the best items in that respective game

though at the moment you can't matchmake for it, which means i can't really do it anyway 

all i do now is just crucible when i'm bored and some bounties to upgrade legendary stuff, i mostly keep playing because i like my character :B

i'm not in a sarcastic mood but anything i planned to type was basically already done i applaud you three mak octo and lychir for that

i just downloaded it, mostly since there's no Gamestop nearby i'm aware of and i don't like traveling around the city at night

tbh the cheesy quips they made i couldnt critique because i say cheesier things all the time with my friends because im in a gang of people who basically make it a goal to make bad jokes 

ngl though i am pretty excited for it (though idk if i'll be playing on launch or not, sorta depends on my work load and Archeage comes out on the 12th for me, and that game's a bit more punishing if you don't do stuff early on)

It's still in Closed Beta (CBT-4), I'm not sure if this is the last one until Open Beta (if they do that), though at this point I think it'd be really silly if they kept stretching out the betas like this... considering like, it's technically a finished game and all Trion really needed to do was translation work (since December of last year). 

But yeah it is super fun, when it actually launches my friends and I are going to be on the East faction (right now we're West) and try to get on whichever server lacks reddit/4chan and has a RP community. 

it's really only worth trading in a system to them if they're doing a "get money towards the new system" thing (how i got my 3ds for like $80 with Ocarina of Time included)

Also, sorry for asking a weird question, but would you feel more comfortable to be referred to as gender neutral pronouns by others here?  I know it's probably a stupid question for me to ask because you and I never talk on a regular basis.  =P

It's a lot less "having it" in a recent sense and a lot more like... erm, kind of always having it? Like regular therapy/medication is how I've treated it in the past (I just had a therapist I didn't like). So it's a lot more getting back on that again and finding someone I feel comfy with. (And my newly acquired habit of regular exercise has been helping a ton, even if it's just an hour of running or so)

As for your question, I would really appreciate it if everyone here used the pronouns outlined in my profile (Ze/Hir/Hirself -- on days I choose a gender to represent myself in the selector thing, I'd prefer those corresponding pronouns). It just helps a lot with how I feel and perceive myself, and I'm just more comfortable with them.

Spink I'm super sorry things are so difficult for you, but you're a fantastic person and it's great you're getting a better understanding of yourself. I hope things keep going in the right direction for you.

Thanks Brickeens! And I do prefer the name Kit now, but I don't have any specific vitriolic feelings towards my old display name (it's just more indifference, "Kit" was kinda associated with me by accident and I took to the name really quickly since it's unisex)

for some reason i'd hoped that Makuta's putting MN to sleep was like some sort of stasis situation wherein MN couldn't like, age, or decay, or fall to pieces ('cuz giant robot) and that by taking upon the mantle of the universe for himself (or maybe even just for his kind since they all had the job of making animals and all that) as a way to prolong the universe's overall lifespan in some sort of way and was just going about it in a manner that went at odds with certain ethical and moral standards the opposing teams had (despite them thinking like, it's an evil maniacal power grab versus a "things come to an end, but i'd much rather the thing i live in continue on longer so we all don't die earlier).

oh definitely, regardless of how often i sort of drop out here and there (usually burning myself out because legendary x.x) i usually almost always come back lol

the old theme was so riddled with its own problems and issues that it wouldn't really take much to top it in terms of quality, though like with everything there'd be people who'd make a public outcry about any changes because it's not the first generation they remember, etc, etc...

i will definitely consider this advice going into the future

i play a lot of games in different genres (been having trouble finishing them lately)

- i like JRPG's, mostly kinda been into Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Zelda, the Tales games, and Disgaea (which im counting as JRPG because it always felt like a rpg to me even if it's more of like, a strategy game). 

- And other RPG's, like I have played Skyrim, Dead Space (which is kinda RPG-y), Fable (which i was all ehhhh about), Dragon Age, Mass Effect... and I think that covers those for the most part. 

Most of the time I play MMO's, like I have played a -ton- of them though right now I'm really invested in Archeage (I used to play like, Aion, WoW, Rift, Guild Wars, Guild Wars 2, FFXIV and some others). 

But Magicka's always fun with friends and skype.
