A similar situation hit me this year. Mind you, our relationship hadn't even started yet when it happened, but it hit extra hard, because the girl I loved turned out to already have a girlfriend. Still, I recently revealed my feelings for her and she doesn't seem to mind. That's because I explained to her that I would rather have her be happy than to have us be together. That is a relationship I have read of a lot in books, and believe it or not, it works. So even if she doesn't want that kind of intimacy, try to remain friends with her. It's worth it, believe me.

I had the same problem as D.Q, except it happened to me in Borders. No worries, though- Mom ordered it off barnes&noble.com, and it should arrive today.

There's a lot of reasons. Some people stay for nostalgia, because they still like the old years of Bionicle. Some don't like the sets, but enjoy making Bionicle art or MOCs. Some people just have yet to grow to love the newer sets. For instance, I always enjoy a set more once I can feel the plastic of it in my hands. Many people like Bionicle for different reasons, and just because they disapprove of some sets isn't enough to turn them off of Bionicle for good.

If there's enough layers, it might be metamorphic.

A major flaw I see in your grading system- do all of those criteria REALLY make a chronicler? The only two we have really known are: Takua- who fails in restraint and, to a degree, wisdom. Also, I remember few good speeches from him. Hahli- She's hard to judge, as we knew her AS chronicler for such a short time. She never showed us much "Staying Alive"- even as a Toa, she has been a bit of a "damsel in distress". We never saw her carve, and she's not much of a crowd-pleaser, lacking both mysteriousness and coolness. I think Taipu would have been an excellent choice. He has an ENORMOUS desire to travel, and indeed has many parallels to our old friend, Takua. Kapura as well- he is certainly one of the most INTRIGUING of the Matoran, and he excels in all of the categories in my eyes. You left out a great deal of other important traits, such as bravery and endurance, which Kapura also excels in. I voted Taipu, but Kapura still seems a more worthy choice than Kopeke in my eyes. I'm really afraid the win may have been caused by BZPers' common love for Ko-Matoran.

But that's NAMES in Bionicle- That requires a check to make sure it's unused. Since Lego doesn't need to check for names like "Giant Squid", I doubt it will cost them much extra money to do themes for only half a year. On the contrary, I believe Lego might know what they're doing. Unless someone is an avid fan, they are unlikely to buy every set even from their favorite theme. So Lego instead minimizes the number of sets per theme and MAXIMIZES the number of themes per year. Thus more people are buying fewer sets rather than only a few people buying every set in a theme. Few people will buy from all of their themes, but more people will buy from the themes that interest them. If two people had $45 each, but one liked Aqua Raiders and one liked Mars mission, each of them could buy $45 worth of the sets they liked. But if Mars Mission didn't exist, that person would be more likely to not get anything, and that $45 would stay in their pocket rather than going to Lego. I probably just went WAY too in depth into that.

I'm going to see a ballet version of Edward Scissorhands today at the Kennedy Center. It's gonna be AWESOME. I decided it was about time to post something else in this blog.

I likey. I love designing my own characters that I hope to use someday. I've got quite the story planned in my head. One of my best characters has been Wyatt, a kid from another dimension (a surreality) who has control over many aspects of reality as we know it. You do know that Bane is a Batman villain, right? Usually when I give abnormal names to my characters, I try to stay away from names already used in popular stories. But that's just me, so you can do whatever floats your boat.

Recently I saw pics from the actual Toy Fair (not the pre-party), and my opinion of them is now much better. Those pics even included the REAL 07 minifigs, which are pretty cool as well.
