I still wouldn't call it my favorite super hero movie ever, but it is impressive how well it's doing. I think Gal Gadot for Best Actress would be quite fitting.

Boo. I got diagnosed with mild sleep apnea and given a CPAP, and now I can't sleep without it. Hopefully you can get things worked out!

Haven't seen Dunkirk, but just read another review of it where the guy was probably straining his arm from patting Nolan on the back, strangely for a lot of the same things you mentioned. I dunno if that's a difference of taste or whatnot, just found it odd. I don't really have a huge desire to see it, and I'm also not a huge Nolan fan either. (I did like parts of Pearl Harbor, but recognize that it pretty much ignored a lot of historical facts.)
Have you reviewed Valerian yet? I've been meaning to see it, but some of the reviews were pretty harsh on it. (Which is probably kind of the norm when it comes to space opera.) I just haven't has a chance to see it yet.

Looking up his job on Metru Nui, Matoro sold Rahi. But I think this implies that he caught the Rahi, and when the Archives weren't interested, he sold them thru his business. A telescopic lens would be useful for a hunter and tracker. (And we know he did these things on Mata Nui too, unless we're seriously going to consider NONE of the MNOLG stuff as canon...)
The other explanation would be that he liked birds and had it installed for bird watching. After all, he became Nuju's translator because he already understood the bird speech.
Or maybe it's a cultural thing. It was just the cool trend to have a telescope in your mask in Ko-Metru.

The black Miru is a nice mask, although I remember having a difficult time finding one for a decent price some years ago. Make some good MOCs with it!
117 seems like an odd number to like. It looks like it should be a prime... but it isn't! (3*3*13=117)

Michael Keaton / Vulture was a really great villain. One thing I liked was how he handled it when his plans didn't go right. This wasn't "all part of my intricate plot of deception" like Loki or Zemo, but him actually putting in thought to how he was going to progress. We get plenty of heroes who get desperate as the movie goes along, but this one had the same thing going with the bad guy.
My biggest issues with the trailers were that they showed things that didn't actually make it into the movie. Not like, scenes that got cut last minute, but actual "we only made this for the trailer" clips that amped up anticipation but ultimately didn't fit anywhere in the movie. That left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth when the credits rolled.
It was a good, enjoyable movie, but I also wouldn't call it the best Spiderman. Besides the spidey-sense, I do miss the web slinging through the sky scrapers... he didn't really do that at all, which was disappointing even if it made sense for the movie. The ending felt anticlimactic somehow, but maybe that's because I was expecting something different from the trailers. Good movie, it definitely did it's only thing, but not the best IMO.
But at least the Lego Death Star got more than just it's destructive cameo seen in the trailers.

Baby shoes, for sale, by murderer.
(Although yours is bound to be quite a thriller too!)

Wow.
People still watch that?

That sounds more like a cash grab rather than a complete shut down.
I miss majhost.

2004 heads, because they worked for both the old and new styles of masks. But I still appreciate the original 01 heads, and I think their eyestalks worked the best at making the eyes brighter.

The Turaga had faces on their feet. The Muaka / Kane-Ra had faces on their shoulders. Takanuva put his friend's decapitated face on the front of his bike. That dog has a face for a tail.
This dog's got nothing on them.

I have a backlog, but not nearly that big of one.

#5 and #8 seem doable.
In regards to #2, it might be easier to get some sort of replica face that looks like him. But if you do go all the way, won't Leo be cold without his face-skin? Maybe instead you can swap faces.

It happens way more than I'd like to think. In particular, I was looking for dark red HF shells and could not find them in any of my bins or MOCs. :\
Also, once as a kid I thought I lost Turaga Nuju's light gray Matatu mask, and then found it over a year later under my mattress. Still don't quite know how that came about...

Oh so you're using a very rigid definition of "country".
-
Gosh who would China be? Are there even that many different types of Pokémon??
-
To be honest, I don't know much about Singapore beyond that it's a small country / city, where it is, and that there are apparently laws against everything. And the only fiction that I can think of that references the city was Pirates III, and even then that wasn't more than "Pirate town with more Asian diversity" so I'm sure it wasn't a super accurate depiction.
I think I may need to browse the Wikipedia article on the country now...

I forget, will there be options to get a shirt if we don't go to BrickFair? Since I won't make it this year but it's a really cool design.
(If so, I'd like an XL)

Yeah, #1, but #2 isn't too bad...

What's the catch?
Happy Birthday!

Seattle-are traffic extends from Olympia to Everett and is terrible. And you chose to get off in Tacoma, which has the worst roads and the worst traffic and the worst drivers. I do my best to avoid driving thru there when I go to Seattle.
So hope you enjoyed the traffic jam that in Washington State freeways.

Yeah, I heard some places had more cloud cover than others. Eastern Oregon had evacuations from a forest fire that was making the eclipse hard to see. (Luckily for me, it was clear skies.)
