  1. I quite enjoyed the episodes. Yeah, they're not exactly the greatest thing ever, but could have been a lot worse all things considered. Some of the language admittedly didn't seem like it fit the feel of the series, but overall I think the acting was well done-I kinda wish the credits actually listed voice actors with characters instead of just listing the actors.
  2. Just have a few responses: To Alyska, I would point out that I never accused the female characters of being responsible, I just noted that they seemed to be present where these groups had misfortunes. I certainly get where the "fridging" comes from-didn't know that particular brand of death had its own name.Regitnui, that's actually not the case: the Toa Cordak and Toa Mangai-with the exception of Turaga Lhikan-were confirmed as not being eligible for revival on the Red Star due to their means of death-the same goes for all Makuta. As for the various Order of Mata Nui members, it all depends on how Teridax leveled Daxia.fishers64, my impression was that a large majority of the Order of Mata Nui was destroyed when Daxia was attacked by Teridax-if I'm incorrect in that I apologize-while the Dark Hunters have not suffered a similar catastrphe. Again, it's not that female characters had a role in this happening-it just seems to happen to groups with more than one female character. By group I also mean an organized military force as opposed to a peaceful tribe of villagers like the Ga-Matoran.
  3. This story is beautiful and sad-I love all the Generation 1 references, and the inclusion of Narmoto's mother/Vakama's wife was brilliant. As far as a father for Lhikan, were you to go that far, I would vote either Dume or Norik.
  4. I agree with just about everything that everyone else has said-this is amazing. It truly is sad how the Toa Mata/Nuva Kaita were cast aside after 2002, especially with the team's return to focus in 2008 and the lame fact that the only Toa Nuva combiner that year was Trinuma. Great work.
  5. A nice little deal-it makes sense that the Matoran who lives out in the sun and the Matoran who wanted so badly to see Le-Koro would get along.
  6. So as I've been reexamining the classic Bionicle storyline, I've noticed a disturbing pattern that has emerged. While I'm sure it's purely coincidence and not intentional, I've noticed that when a group or organization from the classic Bionicle series has more than one female member, it's fatality rate tends to escalate: *The Toa Cordak had two female Toa, Nikila and an unnamed Toa of Water, and only Lesovikk survives as of G1's conclusion. *The Brotherhood of Makuta had fifteen female members-thought admittedly only one was named-and only Miserix survives. *The Toa Mangai had two Toa of Water-Naho and Tuyet-and the group's members all ended up dead, turning evil, or both in Nidhiki's case, though Lhikan was later revived. *The Federation of Fear lost Carapar and Spiriah only after being joined by Lariska, who with Roodaka raised the group's female membership to two-the Shadowed One may have been wiser than he realized not to recruit Roodaka as a Hunter, seeing as how the Dark Hunters with their one identified female member are not known to have suffered anywhere near the casualties of the Brotherhood with its fifteen. *Not long after the revelation that Order of Mata Nui member Johmak was female-marking two female Order members if you count Helryx-most of the Order was wiped out. Again, I think it's purely coincidence and not purposeful on the part of any of the creative team behind Bionicle G1...I just thought it was interesting.
  7. Dude...you are a master. Honestly, the stories you've done about official Bionicle characters are good enough to be part of the official canon. Your ideas and characterization are nothing short of amazing. EDIT: I will admit, the idea of Helryx contacting Shadow Stealer initially seemed unrealistic to me, given his tendency to take out Toa along with Dark Hunters. However, the idea of them being part of the Hand of Artakha together and the fact that Helryx was willing to form alliances with Barraki and Dark Hunters made it a lot more plausible. I also like how you made him kind of a sad fallen hero type.
  8. DAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNGGGGGGGG Seriously dude, your gift for characterizing Bionicle figures who have been little more than name drops in the past is stunning. I love your depiction of the Makuta of Stelt and how you tied him into everything; very well done. I do wish he weren't the only nameless Makuta to have been distinguished from the rest of the Brotherhood-I like how you made it so that even Miserix couldn't remember it. "Lost to time" as Greg used to say, am I right? EDIT: The revised version is quite enjoyable too, I must say-I like all the female references. As with regards to the Rahkshi gender issue, I would also note that it's entirely possible that Rahkshi do have gender, but-like most Matoran universe inhabitants-it's a factor of personality more than physical attributes. I was a little bummed about Miserix's perspective from the original being cut out, though I did enjoy the Kanohi Dragon link.

This. Just...this. I never would have considered so minor a character as Kraata-Kal to have as much potential as you've breathed into him.
  10. He's also going to be in Civil War, having obtained a suit of armor (and cybernetic upgrades?) due to being in the Triskelion when one of the Helicarriers hit it and being unfortunate enough to survive the experience. I would imagine the chick from the airport scene is Agent 13/Sharon Carter, who was also introduced in Winter Soldier if I recall correctly.
  11. Dude...you made a custom Olisi that actually looks like what would come with a a Lego set...I didn't think it was possible. Sweet looking set-it's nice and bulky, and definitely fits the look from Worlds. I just have one question: Does it come in black? ...and gold?
  12. Dude, this thing is a beast! It's totally the sort of thing I could see the Vortixx building to keep out would-be attackers...or unwanted Toa.
  13. Very nice-you captured the Skull style very well, and it's still cool and unique.
  14. Interesting-I love that there's a fellow Beast Wars fan on here. He does have a Tarantulas vibe to him, more so than his namesake, but making a Tripredacus MOC would be quite the ambitious project.
  15. Not bad workmanship-they do look closer to the animations.
  16. So...the commenting on the Brickset thing is over, and now I can't find the set descriptions anywhere.
  17. An interesting color scheme, and neat job on the Huna and his eye coloration. My only complaints would be that the color scheme isn't all that varied for a Bionicle set, and the majority of the body honestly looks like a Toa Kaita dipped in black paint with a few add ons. If that's what you were going for, you definitely hit it spot on, but it just seems a tad uninteresting.
  18. Nice work dude-you've kept the aesthetic of the original set while making it bigger; I'd say it even tops Toa Mata Nui in that regard. The Fire Girl is a nice model-simple, but there's a certain elegance in that.
  19. No coincidences, favourite book and character. Sweet dude.
  20. This is some pretty hilarious stuff my friend. The sheer level of utterly ridiculous humor is amazing, and the way you combine references to the rest of Generation 1 into the series is great. ...Ahkmou knows too much...
  21. Duuude...this story is amazing. The time travel plotline doesn't make too much sense, but the effect you achieved is really impressive. Great work spotlighting some more minor characters, especially Ihu and Talvi.
  22. An interesting story indeed-clever reimaginings of the Great Beings and other characters. I've had the idea of a Bionicle afterlife a time or two myself; very well done.
  23. When Nokama met Vakama, eh? Cool idea, and interesting approach to a time period of the Bionicle universe that hasn't been touched on much.
  24. This is a neat reimagining of the Generation 2 storyline-I like the use of lesser Generation 1 character names.
