But yeah, the difference is that people aren't playing any video games to help you with something. You play them TO waste time.

Besides, the "planting violent images for the sake of entertainment" could be said of movies, shows, Anime, art... Stories?

There's no use saying that watching a zombie movie is bad when you get virtually the same images in your head from a ton of anime (and this past day has shown me Anime that i NEVER want to see again......... okay well maybe but still) like... for example, Full metal Alchemist, or Death Note.

Besides, the idea of fighting something like zombies, dispite being formerly human, is interesting. Both because the human brain has a natural tendancy to gravitate towards fantasy, or unexplainable, or otherwise improbably or unreal scenarios. Not only that, but fighting something that's trying to KILL you, or the entire human race, brings out the survival instinct in people.

Point being, people play Zombie Games and Shooter Games for the same reason they do games like Dragon Age, or Final Fantasy, or Zelda.

Soooo............ Please, don't shake the lightbulb.

Imma end this by saying it's all a matter of opinion in what you gravitate towards, but just because you yourself cannot understand why doesn't mean you should rant about it in a blog. People have different tastes in Music, Stories, Art - can they not have different tastes in video games?

I agree, but it's not so much the graphics style that I was getting at. From the trailers, a lot of the game seems childish, is all i'm saying... Crazy me though.

You'll have to tell me what it's like, Spore was a really good game IMO.

I just have my reservations about what appears to be a Diablo Esque Spore game - that also happens to bear more than a little bit of childishness along with it.

Anyways, as a creator of not so noob but at the same time noob comics, these cracked me up, while at the same time being blatantly obvious as to what they aim to do. Which is funny, cause i always made fun of people who made comics cause i never saw any sprite in their sprite comics.

The mutant spawn of an iToy, a Wiimote, and the terrible tracking of the backgrounds the camera in a Mac includes.

 

Not to start an argument, but the Kinect is incredible. It requires no sensors or remotes, and believe me, Kinect Sports is definitely worth it. I just love being able to wave my arms and jump around in celebration after I win a Kinect Sports game.

 

As for Kinectimals... I've never played it, so I wouldn't no, but I'm not interested in that sort of thing to begin with.

 

The little furry bug thing told me to spin around to make the animal spin around.

 

I spun, the bobcat did not.

 

I tried spinning the other way, jumping and spinning, flailing my arms and spinning, but the cat just stood there, staring at me.

 

That makes no sense. As far as I know, the Kinect can't tell if you spin or not; I've tried it in Kinect Sports before. Why is it that this video game has that as a control?

It can tell if you spin your arms, can it not? Besides, different games have different motion senses.

Oh, and the Kinect is Racist.

Seriously, look it up. People with darker skin can't use it in low light areas.

It's original, being the first console with proper motion sensing, but even then, every other one that i've tried is a gimmick (Read: PS Move, Wii), i havn't, and probably never will, had high hopes for the Kinect.

So i'll stick to halo, and owning people who think they're better than me Without Flailing my arms and breaking something in the process, thankee.

Section 8 is a pretty good game, though it does have it's hitches that can make it a bit less enjoyable.
