  1. The point's moot. The glass is completely full of matter.

That reminds me that I neglected to mention the possibility of water molecules in the air, which could mean the glass is more than half full, which would, again, have to be remedied before actual debating could begin.

:kaukau: Don't try to gauge the material inside of the glass. Instead, realize the truth that there is no glass.

I suppose, then, that thinking outside the box- er, glass could apply in this situation?

  2. I liked Wall-E... save for the scene near the end where somehow, when a spaceship with artificial gravity tilted in space, everyone in the ship slid to one side. Even people with an idle interest in science or science fiction should know gravity, let alone artificial gravity, doesn't work that way.

I digress. 'Tis a good film nonetheless. :P

  3. I don't think this is going to come as a surprise to anyone [...]

    Truth. :P

I think the main problem with Cars 2 was its emphasis on comedy. The first Cars was built around a more serious plot about accomplishment and humility, with jokes added for extra measure. In contrast, Cars 2 was primarily a parody and thus lacked the depth of its predecessor.
