Finally my digital sketches are beginning to look like something useful/nice. So here's a creature from the deep dark waters; I was sort of inspired by the Barraki when drawing this. (click the thumbnail or follow this link to view the whole pic) After all, Gen1 has always had intriguing concepts and designs, and has definitely influenced my art a lot.

click the thumbnail or follow this link to view the full drawing I love the protectors' designs, so I decided to play around with things a bit. Adding some clothing seemed like a good idea and IMO looks quite cute, too. This has been the first proper drawing in days, thus the shield is extra-wonky. D: Apart from that I'm quite happy with the outcome, though. Originally there was also a loosely skteched background, but since the scanner didn't really pick that up it was mostly cropped out. Edit: since brickshelf is currently gone too (?) I have replaced the links; everything should work again.

click thumbnail to view full drawing or follow this link Lineart: click thumbnail to view full drawing Gali again! This time an ink pen sketch. This was done directly in pen. No pre-sketching with a pencil, thus some wonkiness here and there. I'm quite satisfied with the outcome, even though the face is a bit misaligned here and there. ^^" E: Updated with a coloured version. Media: coloured pencils.

Lady Kriigata, toa of iron and acolyte in the Brotherhood of Ak'rei'an in the BZPRPG. This was a sketch to show her 2014 appearance, since her armor often changes as her life develops. Heavily influenced by both Evil Accret on Deviant Art and Vezok's Friend right here on BZP (copying is the greatest form of flattery), I picked up the pencil and sketched. (Click image for larger version.) As always, C&C appreciated!

Kiron is a toa of flame from the BZPRPG. He carries several bottles of juice flavored water and a scimitar. I promised to sketch this character a few months back for Norik and I was finally able to pull through today. Comments and Critique most welcome! (Click image for full resolution.)

Hogo Kamari is another BZPRPG character, once played by myself but now in the hands of Voxumo. Kamari is an archer of the kyudo style (hence the weird looking glove on her hand), and the retainer of Hogo Noshima, the clan's toroshu. I finally got around the sharpening some of my alternative pencils (4B, 6B, etc.), but I kind of wish I'd used better paper. I will be attempting a digitally colored version based on line-art, so check back for that soon! Comments and critique are always appreciated! (Click for larger image.) ~Kughii

I was in a teahouse this afternoon enjoying a wonderful cup of purple oolong while doodling. Little did I know Draeverian Joskiir would leap out from the page I had in front of me. Comments and critique are appreciated as always! (Click for larger picture on DA.)

A character from the BZPRPG, Syvra (played by Voxumo), is a toa of plant-life and deserter from the Brotherhood of Ak'rei'an. Drawn in pencil. I'm thinking of coloring the sketch and inking the details, but for now I'll leave it soft and mysterious. As always, Comments and critique are welcome! (click for larger image.) I was shooting for a birch-bark type of wrapping on the torso similar to the cloth armor used by poor samurai. Additionally, I was trying to give the extra armor a sense of either being vines or wood. ~Kughii

As if we don't have enough drawings of Tahu Mata. :PThis my first successful attempt at drawing 3D, so it's not the best.LinkComments and Criticism appreciated!

This is just a quick sketch I made of Takanuva. It actually took longer to get a good picture of it than to draw it. LinkLet me know what you think!

So, I realised that I haven't put up any art here for a very long time! The only thing I've been doing at the moment is cheap sketchbook art, so I thought I'd put some of those up here.MalumSo, anyone who is familiar with me at all will know that my favourite character is Malum. My sketchbook has at least five sketches of him at the moment. While the arms in this image aren't that good and I didn't go into detail on the shoulderplates, I really like how the head turned out.And yes, those are teeth sticking out from the sides of his mouth in a modern-Orcish way.~~~ZeskI'll admit, this thing was drawn without any form of reference. Still, look at those eyes. This young, friendly Zesk will not maim you; it will love you!~~~Comments and (constructive) criticism will be appreciated and cherished!

I was gonna make a Toa/Rahkshi hybrid character of sorts for the BZPRPG; basically just a Toa with some spines on its back. Then I realized I basically have too much to do in that RPG already, so I dropped it. Still, I drew picture of the character, just because.Take one part Toa of Plant Life, one part Lehrak and mix it all together... and I present to you: Leah.I got the pose right, I think (often have trouble with limbs...), but I'm not all that happy with the torso armor. That's why this pic is not entirely finished: I just felt like moving on to a new sketch.Comments and critique are of course appreciated.

After a few lot of drawings with my left hand, I eventually got to this. Kordav is my newest character for Techna and so I decided to try and draw him.Inspired and based off Katuko's drawing of Madrihk, I wanted to make a more three dimentional character.I can't decide to either color him with marker or using a computer program.Comments and Cookies welcome.

Last year there was a relatively big RPG going on here on BZP: War Zone. Lately I decided to draw one of my characters, a Toa of Lightning named Lithree. She is very much a hero-type girl, preferring straight "good-vs-evil" matters rather than the grey morality that was all over the place in the titular war. This image is just a quick sketch. There are several things I could have done better about it, especially the line work. I was thinking of vectorizing it all that, but I felt that it would be better to simply draw a new picture later and work from scratch. That said, I still wanted to show off this one. Lithree wears a Calix, which suits her energetic combat style rather well. She tries to avoid killing where possible, and thus stamina and dodging are important skills to her. She also carries an Energy Siphon Blade, which absorbs elemental attacks. The sword has been modified with a backpack that can store additional charges, allowing Lithree to take a defensive stance in battle and also use her enemies' powers against them.
