IC: "Fine then."Naara sighed."Let me explain to you exactly what you got wrong about that stuff..."First off, I didn't get the memo. No one told me that it was bad to scout and make sure none were nearby," Naara said with a shrug. "I got screamed at later by Vernadon for it. But Vernadon only explained to me that I was supposed to stay by the school afterwards, and I was fairly certain that we-as equal teachers-weren't forced to obey the wants of one. I was just trying to make myself of service by actually accomplishing something apart from my daily training routine," The I'Rohu explained casually. "The kid is more everyone's fault-I told him to stay and keep an eye out, but he came along and everyone assumed he'd come back when we did," She said with a shrug."As for your other example, that's not really naming a hard example of how I've hurt the school. So..."Naara sighed again."If that's all, I think I'll be heading back to my hut."

IC:Ire followed the others, lugging Trad's prone body. "Now I see why you complained," she said, using her Hau to help clear a way through the blizzard. Even so, the cold was intense.Trad, however could not respond. He seemed to have been stuck outside his body. He had been yelling at Ire and finally gotten that. If only would someone use an Iden.OOC: Great. So my character's in a state of near-death due to overextending powers.

IC:Kuhrin threw the Rahi bone over his shoulder, prying bits of muscle and meat from between his teeth with his tongue, and took a deep breath of freezing cold air. The Toa of Sonics was expecting a messenger from his fellow Makuta followers sometime in the next day or so, but none had come. Perhaps there had been a delay, or-It was intercepted."Desuka, reveal yourself. Even with your silence, I can sense you." rang out his voice through the vicinity.Sure enough, a figure phased into existence behind him, and let out a loud sigh to signify his presence, "What does your master want?" said he, not expecting a valid answer, and was not met with one."You think I'd tell you that, even if I knew?""No, and it would be out of fear. Fear for what the infinitely powerful being below could do to you, what terrible punishment you'd face, if you didn't follow his every command like a lost puppy."Kuhrin chuckled, "It is you who is so like a lost puppy. You think you still have a place in the world, that there's some point to all this struggling. Mata-Nui, you make me want to puke. All you have now is the wait for your life to be extinguished." he flexed his fingers, not looking at his enemy, "And who else to do it than our beloved old friend Kuhrin?"

IC(Meja):Meja was slightly taken aback by Ussalsius' name. It was strange."Meja." she replied, "What business do you have in Ko-Koro?"

I.C. Ussalaius "Very little. I came to Ko-wahi with a few friends of mine. I stayed behind the group a little ways to check on something, but I got lost and haven't seen them since. I usually rely on the sun to get me where I need to go, but with all the snow, it is rather hard to see."

IC:It had been about twenty minutes since Rhanus had left Ambages seated at the counter of the bar. When he finally returned he carried with him the dish the other Matoran had ordered. The meat and grapes were arranged in an artful manner and the Maha Steak itself was grilled to perfection. "I hope you will find everything in order." Rhanus said politely, always the perfect waiter to his guest.

[Kaccio] Ic: "That is not all," Kaccio said as he shook his head. "Vernadon has been trying to bring organization to this college, his authority was just. Even before, we had one who was greater among equals and who's authority did not stem from the wants of one, but from the needs of all. Vernadon already rebuked your actions before, but I will say that we as teachers are here to educate our pupils within the bounds of this college and impart our wisdoms here, not lead hunting parties abroad. The kid was your fault because you left in the first place," he said. "Your continued absence from the campus grounds have been noted my me, and your constant leaves are growing to be a burden to any sort of progress we attempt. By being brash, you threaten the unity we as teachers should have."He pointed at the buildings. "These huts were supposed to be expanded, this campus was meant to be greater, and yet no work has been done because of a lack of unity, organization that has been undermined by the actions led by your boneheadedness."The master's tone grew more threatening as he began to not only rebuke the toa of water's actions, but her competency as a teacher. "Who have you taught that has emerged better than before? What wisdoms have you imparted to your pupils? I have not witnessed any. You claim to champion and empower, and yet all I have seen is one senseless test after another that are taken up by people like Socugu and Rannin who just want a challenge. You are here as an elementalist, and yet I have seen no one benefit from your teachings." He ended his lecture with a rebuke of uncharacteristic challenge. "You are not fit to teach."[Ambages] "Yes, all is well," the matoran said as he took the food, though he mentally listed out items he would improve the business on. The steak was finely cooked, but lacked sauce to his liking. The layout of the meal was good, though the garnishing lacked in the end. Additionally, twenty minutes was too long for a meal cooked for someone waiting on a barstool -- a tabled guest, yes, but not someone valuing a quick meal over all. Still, he made little public indication of his criticisms and did enjoy the food itself.Tell me, what do you know of the other guests here?" he asked.

OOC: I have actually waited for more than 20 minutes on a Filet Mignon before, definitely worth the wait ;)IC:"Mostly what I can see and hear while attending to their wishes. The patronage is your usual range of guests: Matoran, Toa, even the odd Vortixx...or two." Rhanus replied calmly, making the small addition to his reply as his eyes glanced over the two Vortixx sitting at a table, obviously enjoying some quality conversation. "If you are inquiring about specific guests, my knowledge of them is rather limited. One of the qualities of this establishment is the pravicy fine customers such as yourself value so highly. It is one of the comforts offered here."He put on his most assertive smile. In a lower tone, he added: "Of course, it is also in the nature of attending to customers, that one does hear the odd snippet of conversation every now and then."

[Kaccio] Ic: "I hope she proves me wrong," Kaccio muttered to himself and to Dorian, "for her sake as for ours." He was determined that if he did not see improvement and unity where it was due, he would take matter wholly into his own hands. The school's light was dimming, and he needed to reverse that. Then: Idea. He recalled the visit of a certain Toa Wopaku several months before who represented the Cultured Gentry -- and wealth. Kaccio had no interest in money, but publicity and reach... those were desirable assets. He could not go to Wopaku since Vernadon had already burned that bridge, but the master knew of another, and one who would be equally as willing to help. Even as Naara walked away with Dorian, Kaccio prepared to leave the college, writing a note and placing it on his door.

Gone to Ko-Koro.

Will return within one solar cycle.

Ireanqba, or njner bs gur erartnqr grnpure.

The last sentence was a cipher message intended for Vernadon alone. The scholar-poet would have been able to translate it immediately, but none other would be able to understand it -- to them, it was gibberish, and so he wanted it. Forgoing his cane for a more brisk stride, Kaccio left his hut and began the trip through the road.(Onarax, hint: It's the Ceasar cipher.)[Ambages] "Tell me of the two Vortixx," Ambages said without turning to face the other guests. To any of the others in the restaurant, it would seem like it was just a man talking to the manager behind the bar, which was an image he wanted to project. Nope, nothing suspicious happening here.

IC:Rhanus, in the good old-fashioned manier of a barkeeper, began to polish the glasses with a towel as he began to speak in a quiet tone, enough that Ambages would hear him clearly. "The male is a fine gentleman who came in just a short while ago. I have not seen him before, but from what little I could hear during our little conversation, I gather he is here to do business. Not surprising, I might add, considering their foreign technology. It is quite marvelous, I hear." He couldn't help but smile a little. "From what I could see though, for all his sophistication, his female companion apparently has a way of getting under the skin. As for who she is, I honestly can not say. She arrived several days ago and has rented a room here, but she never socialised with any of the other guests before. I admit, I am a bit curious myself, as her favourite past-time seems to be sitting in that shady corner over there," he nodded in the direction of the darkest part of the room," while enjoying our finer spirits..."

IC: A tendril of water pushed open Naara's door. She walked in after it, only stopping to turn and sit down on her bed after the tendril closed the hut again.Naara cradled the Fe-Toa gently-if it hadn't been for the hand on his rib and grimace on his Calix, the situation would look normal. She sighed. The toa had been thinking. She wanted to get the guy's true motivation from him...Yet she'd never done something of this sort before, and was at a momentary loss for how to go about that business. But back where she came from, there had been a thing called 'torture'..."Here we come to the part where I ask questions and you answer them," Naara drawled. "Every time you answer a question with something I'm pretty sure is a lie, I fill your lungs with water and hold it there as long as I wish."Got it?," The I'Rohu asked casually. She didn't wait for an answer. "Good."Why have you come to the school?"

IC: Naara did not respond directly; she merely nodded-a nearly imperceptible motion. Her readings showed this much to be true. Dorian felt no water in his lungs. Yet. "Why are you unarmed on this danger-filled island?"

IC: Again the nod of recognition. She had guessed that, but it had still made her suspicious that he carried no weapons visible to the naked eye."Why are you dressed as though going to something fancy instead of walking through a blizzard?"

IC: Naara sighed. All true. The blue-armored hand on the ruffled and wet suit unclenched. The tank's cork popped off to send another tendril of water gliding to that splayed palm and begin permeating the fabric under it."And this is the part," The I'Rohu drawled, "Where I heal that fracture. You can go after."

IC: "Great," Naara said drily. The hand moved again. This time it glided over the Fe-Toa form to below his neck, to support it so that an undue amount of stress wouldn't be placed on the muscles holding up his head. His jacket around the rib was fully soaked now. Water crept through gray armor towards skin of the same color."I guess I'll need to actually introduce myself, then. Name's Naara."

IC: Wraith - Hospital, Ko-Koro -Wraith nodded as he made his way out of the hospital. Though he did need to pick something up at a certain cave along the way, his old sword...he hadn't used a weapon in years, but he felt it was time to once more, if he ever had to face Hiemalis again, he'd have to be ready for him.

IC, Kinvex: Kinvex floated alongside Wraith. "So where do you think that Toa took Angelus?" he asked, trying to make conversation.IC, Aurax: Aurax frowned and thought for a moment. He does have a point, he thought to himself. The Makuta surely would act against us if we went to Kini-Nui. Maybe going there isn't the best idea... He sighed. "Well, this frosty place isn't the best place to think things out. Let's go to my hut in Po-Koro: we can decide our next move from there."

IC: Dorian (CRANE Academy, Ko-Wahi)"Don't worry about me. I've been through worse," he said, rather truthfully. He could be here for a while: he might as well see how wise defending her had been..."So, how 'bout that punch?"-Teezy

IC: Lekua narrowed his eyes, sizing the newcomer up. "You speak-talk in riddles, my friend. Talk clear-plain or not at all." He turned to his friends. "If you don't mind my tell-saying, Aurax, a trip-journey to Po-Koro would be an unnecessary delay. Stannis is true-right - we're running short on time. Travel-going somewhere else to plan simply because the temperature is more to your liking is simply out of the question." He shook his head, gathering his thoughts. There was something about these clues that was bothering him, though he could not place it exactly...

IC: Naara spread her legs to deflect the kick while leaving a takea hide-granted mark on Dorian's leather pants. Her arms retracted to her sides, ready for more economic attacks.Amateur, but learns from mistakes. Art is definitely hard.Using the newfound limberness granted by that uncrossing, Naara now slid off the bed and into a hook kick at his standing leg. Now it was a race-which would down the other, and thus win the more dominant position, first? And this was one race she believed she would win.
