IC: 1-10"We support the ones who speak of peace. This.. 'Confederation', nearly sent us unkowingly into a war that could possibly have extremley negative outcomes. We Thernians agree that the Natsirt Rebels, this new Goverment to be specific would sound to be a more then acceptable replacement in the TAP" The Thernian turned to the Natsirt loyalists; "And what about you? it seems as though the people you represent have fallen; shall you convert like many of your species, or shall you remain alone, all thats left of a shattered force?" There was a quiet bit of clanking as the Thernian royal guards shifted a bit, becoming noticably more tense and alert.--Akaku: master of Flight

OOC: In that case, I place a claim on all of Fighty's territory and anyone who touches it will be SMITED.IC: At the same time as the rebel vessel, the Infinitus and its two escort frigates appeared in the system. It didn't take long for them to find the TAP headquarters, and they soon sent a narrow-beam comm at it: "We are the Osalieli Imperium and we wish to open negotiations with the Kalarii and their allies."

IC(1-10): "He will land. This is our world, not yours," said Tyrii, giving the Natsirt a curious look.There was a buss from her datapad, alerting her that she had recieved a new message. She glanced at the screen, looking over the new messages, one from the Consul, the other from Torios space control.The first message stated that a squad of Kalarii Special Forces Legaeis were in the hall outside, prepared if the current Natsirt turned hostile.The second message said that an alien cruiser in orbit sought a conference with the TAP committee.A video communications line was opened from the room to the Osaleili vessel.All eight Eversmanii ships moved from Nakare (1-34) to Torios (1-10).

That's a bit problematic...So Lloyd, me, you and Fighty could form an alliance in which we'd be nearly even with the TAP in regards to Industry. "We gathered in this room are the represenatatives from each species gathered to engage in discussion and decision making."Is there anything you wish to speak of?"

IC: [Torios, Infinitus]"We would like to establish agreements on military and trade relations as ground rules for any further interactions between our two polities." Licht replied. "We have a diplomatic team ready to meet you in person, which I will be leading myself, if that is acceptable to you. I personally prefer to do negotiations face to face."

IC:"Now," Sienta began. "This, alliance, for a lack of a more descriptive term, is it to be purely military in nature? Because I currently understand it to be a defensive pact and nothing else, but these things have a way of growing."

IC: "For now it is a defensive pact," the Alizarin confirmed, tank speaking in one specific voice, "Should any of us be attacked, it is the duty of the others to aid them. Likewise, we do not attack any of the others in this pact.""On the other hand," said the Alizarin machine in another voice, "We may wish to discuss offensive options. It may be that we need to go on the attack ourselves to deter a particularly aggressive race."OOC: Hey, pact, I like that. Distinguishes us from the Trilateral Alliance in Sector 1. IC [Location: 1-10. Identity: Tarshiar]The ship landed promptly and it's crew, the rebel leader with five delegates that doubled as politcians and bodyguards, walking into the conference room. Sivan growled curses but was smart enough not to try anything."Members of the committee, I'd like to inform you that a great tragedy has happened on our homeworld; the entire Council has been killed, apparently in a plasma leak." The leader shook his head. "They will not be able to be trialed for their crimes against our people, but most of all many of them were our supporters. Our control of the homeworld is now concrete; a few more pockets of loyalists will be finished and then our government will be reformed. The battle is over."

OOC@Necro; I updated the maps with everyone who posted their industrial update. If you didn't post yours, sorry, I rarely get the time to actually fully read this topic. I typically skim so without an IR I cannot help you.I'm honestly considering asking Xom to make it a rule anytime someone colonizes a system they have to PM me.

OOC: ....Alright, what's an IR?IC: "I say we finish setting up borders before we agree on any of the military stuff. It won't do any good to agree to defend somewhere we don't know we are. You said you were missing a map of our systems?" At that, Nila slid a small datapad over the table. "That has our systems on it. We're far to the north and the east of pretty much everyone here, outside of the Tsui'nau.""As it stands, we have seven of the ten systems we'd be allowed, and given we drafted a border agreement with the Tsui'nau before all this, it'd be best if we can get this squared away quickly and just modify the draft instead of going through the entire legislative process again."

Those things we post every Sunday (or is it every other Sunday?)Oh, and something I've noticed in some of your posts, what do those little dots under certain words and sentences do? I thought it was a hyperlink gone wrong at first , but why would you make 'table' a link?IC: Using the Natiru disk, the Alizarin updated the hologram, showing their planets in ivory white."Which three planets did you have in mind for further colonisation?"OOC: The way I had it pictured from looking at the map is that (along with what they have already) the Alizarin get 18, 19, 20 and 2. The Tuanarans get 44, 45, 46 and 48. The Natiru get 49, 41, 36, 22, 21 (I'm not sure if any of those are included in the ones you have not appearing on the map). The Syrrinx get 23, 24, 25, 26, 15, 16 and 10. And the Diemawr get 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 27 and 14. Like I said, the Syrrinx and Diemawr get a bit tangled, but it seems to keep people mostly clumped together. Obviously though, they're you're races and you're free to do what you like. I'm just thinking up helpful suggestions

I was planning to do a little more southern expansion, but given we're splitting the sector up here and now, I'd say those ten should work for me.And do I have to include anything on an IR other than my planets and their industry level?IC: "The border agreement we drafted with the Tsui'nau was along this line." Argus tapped at his own datapad, a holohram popping up off of it, mimicking the colours of the larger image, but with a bright red line between the Natiru systems on it and the Tsui'nau systems on it. "With the ten system agreement, keeping along the agreed border, it would be something alone these lines, more or less." At that, he tapped the small device again, the line fading, in its place, a number of previously gray systems now appearing in blue and white, distinguishing control by the Tsui'nau and Natiru, respectively.

OOC: Shall we assume that the Alizarin just proposed that in character?IC:"These numbers are agreeable to me, at least. Something like this has to get run past the legislature. That could take weeks. But call my word a preliminary agreement." As a Xenologer, Sienta was trained in a bit of everything, so land deals like this were only something of a new thing for her.

OOC: Why don't I just actually propose it in-character, might make things easierIC: The Alizarin continued meddling with the projection of their sector, filling in planets for the other four races until the whole sector was claiming, with each of the species in linked blocks."We think this settles things," they suggested, "No-one has any planets cut off by another species expansion, everyone os given equal space."

IC: This is agreeable. If we are all agreed, should we signify so with a document of some kind?IC: Above the four first colonies, four massive Actinaria-Class Starbases, one each, floated in orbit, their armor gleaming with the sunlight. Systems were checked and crew were moved in, fighters filling the hangars. They were massive, beautiful constructions, and each would provide strength to Treanuan defense.Now, as planned, construction began on four ships- Three Teuthis-Class Battlecruisers in 2-34, 2-35, and 2-47, construction under the direction of Tuonata, Sauyandu, and Ka'andro. Over Bivali Mun, construction began on the beginnings of the Bivalvi fleet, as they began fabricating a Brachyura-Class battleship.

Large swarms of them could pick off smaller ships, leaving the big ones free for the proper fleet to deal with

Placing colonization under the command of the Fleet Support office insured that the Navy had the resources it needed, and the prices of goods were currently falling. It seemed that the ministry of commerce had been right, and colonization had given the economy a slight boost rather than draining it. The unique goods imported from offworld, such as the Carlun in the tank across from Aiiruni's desk, sold on Ath for high prices, but the manufactured goods that Ath churned out made up for it; gold was flowing onto the planet as fast as it was leaving."The Syrrinx world in 2-15, Nadwoo, has upgraded to an Outer World. The Syrrinx World in 2-14, newly named Alissan, has become Self Sustaining.With the newly available industrial capacity, the two Faerie class cruisers that were drydocked have been reactivated.Redesigns on the Dragon class hull currently under suspended construction over Ath have begun; alternate weapons systems being considered."Aiirun put down the report and his drink as someone knocked on his door."Minister?" A female voice said from outside his office. Aiirun pressed a button on his desk, the door dilated open. A somewhat short Syrrinx with steely eyes stepped in; Aiirun recognized her as Seela Nachii, one of the Xenologers under him. "I have a report from Sienta Kralat. She says the meeting is going well, and she will soon have a treaty to push through the legislature." Aiirun smiled."Good, good, good. So why do you sound bitter?" Seela paused for a moment."I, well, it's hard to say...""You want to be out there, don't you?" Aiirun asked. "You don't want Sienta getting all the glory. I understand, I understand. Sienta's been made, in all practical purposes, our Ambassador-At-Large. But you made contact with the Diemawr, didn't you?" Aiirun did a better job of pronouncing the alien word than most Syrrinx could. "What do you say to being our Ambassador with them? An embassy on one of their worlds, with fifteen or twenty Syrrinx under you?" The last sentence had been calculated to get Seela's interest; Aiirun had known for a long while that Sienta was after his job. "We'll have to clear it with the Diemawr of course, but I can't see why they'd turn you down." Seela grinned a predatory grin, black teeth glinting against the harsh fluorescent light.

OOC: After reviewing my growth times I realized I've been remiss on keeping track of that. <_<IC: The Imperium was on the rise. The heart of its power, the worlds of Ithaka and Gallia, had grown to be veritable forges of industry, and both of them had established mining stations over the local gas giants and were pulling exotic particles from the atomic forges that their suns provided. Masada was following their example, and had begun construction on a space elevator to improve its Skydocks.OOC: Ithaka and Gallia upgraded to Forge Worlds, Masada upgraded to an Inner World.

IC: The Baross Skydocks began to construct another colonizer, while the Gallian Skydocks began to build a run of frigates, and the Masada Skydocks began to build a Praetorian-class cruiser.OOC: IP at full capacity.(Side note: It's been twenty-four days since the beginning of the game, and it takes ten days for the Inner World to become a Core World, and fourteen days for a Core to become a Forge. Add those together and you get twenty-four days. Masada just happened to be founded at the right time to mature on the same day.)
