Pahrak Model ZX Posted March 7, 2013 Author Posted March 7, 2013 Dual: No, Kanohi remain one use, and no, the Mahiki cannot be used to blind. Tahu vs Gali: Gali's invisibility should allow her to get in some solid hits, but when the Pakari-quake disrupts her focus she'll be open to attack. Since this match was decided before arenas were introduced, Gali will be able to get Tahu underwater, though it seems she'll still be within Tahu's attack range for a while. With the Pakari, Tahu's strength will be a good deal above Gali's toughness. Tahu wins 7,500 W. Quote My Library Right of Law (Epics) KARDAS DRAGON appears! (G&T)

Samus Aran-Bounty Hunter Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Canis and I are having a match.W input: 2000 eachArena: Slizer DomeMy strategy:Breez will start off by blitzing Millennia, dashing right at him while dodging any attacks he throws at her. Once she's close enough, she'll leap over the Slizer, punching him in the face with the Titan Gauntlets to help propel herself over him. When she lands, she'll spin around and toss a Zephyrang at his hopefully prone backside. After that, she'll use her superior Agility to stay ahead of him, unless he uses his Power Fuel, in which case she'll start up a dust devil to blind him while reprograming a console to attack him. Once that's done, and the defences are hitting him, she'll focus on luring Millennia to a corner of the building. Once he's in place, Breez shall break the corner off with a 'rang, adding a downdraft to send Millennia plummeting to his loss. Since he has the Lava Stone, Natalie will not attempt to fly at all. If he blinds her, she'll send a continous burst of air in all directions while running in a tight circle to knock him back and keep him away. If he creates an illusion, she'll keep moving while throwing an air bullet at everything that moves. If he locks her down with a solid illusion, Breez will use the 'rangs to deflect any lasers he sends at her until it's removed, or sock him if he gets too close. If she's pushed off the edge, she'll fire a burst of air downwards to rocket herself back onto the rooftop. If he uses the Vahki Staff, Breez shall throw the Zephyrangs at him to distract him while activating the defensive system.I think I've covered everything... Zakaro Quote They call me Zakaro. You should too.

Canis Lycaon Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 (edited) So, Dual Matrix is pretty mad about his losing because of the creature. We are having a rematch. I am sponsoring with 500 W, and I don't know about him. We will fight in the Coliseum. Confirming match with Zakaro as well. I have two items to further balance flying: Kanohi Kadin: allows your fighter to fly, for Toa; 7,000 WFlying disk: allows your fighter to fly on disk, they can fall off, cannot be used if Lava Stone is brought into battle, for Slizers; 13,000 W. Strategy against Onua: Millennium will make a layer of solid holographic light under the ground to prevent him from burrowing. He will then keep his distance from Onua, preventing him from using his high strength. He will use the Vahki staff and fire lasers and energy bolts at Onua. If Onua uses the Ruru, Millennium will blind him as well. To detect any Mahiki illusions, he will use his light radar. He will continue firing the energy bolts and lasers until he defeats Onua, speeding away anytime Onua gets close. Strategy against Breeze: Millennium will start out by using his Vahki Staff to lower Breeze's mind. He will then create a solid light hologram rope around her legs, to limit her agility. He will speed to computer terminals to find the one that works and activate it before Breeze can. Because of Breeze's inferior strength and toughness, he will get in close and attack with his Solar Axe. He will fire lasers and energy bolts when he is close as well, balancing his use of his Axe, lasers and bolts. He will try to lead Breeze to the edge of the tower and push her off. I think the Vahki Staff should be a viable weapon, as it costs the same as a Rahkshi staff. If the price needs to be raised for it to be a weapon, I will pay that price. Pahrak Model ZX Posted March 8, 2013 Author Posted March 8, 2013 Ninja: Perhaps...I will consider the visor and may add it after the next tournament. Breez vs Millennia: Between the staff and the hologram, Millennia will probably get to the terminal first, though Breez's agility will help her evade some of the defenses. Still, with Millennia attacking at the same time and her low toughness, Breez will take some damage before the defenses run out of power. However, once the power does run out and/or if Millennia does push her near the edge and she uses a wind-propelled leap over him, she may be able to destroy the corner of the building that Millennia is standing on (since he was pushing her that way), and the added push of the wind should prevent him from being able to recover. Breez wins 10,000 W. Canis: The Kanohi Kadin will be added after the next tournament, I was just holding off a bit since Toa have the largest amount of exclusive equipment. As for the Flying Disk, I was going to let the Lava Stone be a replacement for flying, slowing down flyers long enough to shoot them out of the sky. Maybe I should add a flight item, though...Since the Vahki Staff already has a two-part effect, I would probably raise the price 1-2 thousand if it were to be made a melee weapon. No strategies have been posted yet for the 2v2 match, and I have not heard anything from the players.Millennia's stats have been updated. Dual Cee Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Wait actually Canis upgraded stats while a battle was confirmed, so I'll consider them not yet bought for this fight:I sponsor 1500 WHe will use high way higher agility(even with power fuel) to dodge any ranged attacks of Millenia, then he'll recreate his layer of earth before his eyes as protection against blinding Light. If the guy uses the Vahki staff Onua will use both Kanohi the first to create duplicates, the second to blind the guy, so his sonar technique is worthless . Then after returning to normal state he'll speed up(agility) towards Millenia, dodging (and if nessecairy take) the blows he fires at him, once in close combat the fight will be quickly decided by Onua using raw Strenght.strategy for vs Match is to be posted this hour. Canis Lycaon Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Well, I bought them after I posted my strategy. I didn't use them in it. For the Flying Disk, this is my logic: You can buy the cheaper, less functional Lava Stone for 7,000 W, or you can buy the more practical, more expensive Flying Disk for 13000 W. Phoenixian Wraith Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 (edited) Confirming match with Dual, 1,500 W each Lava will use both Handling Patch and Data Refine straight up before super-heating his arms and armor so as to melt through any of Onua's Earth attacks or traps, then heating Onua's armor as well. When Onua uses either the Ruru or Mahiki, Lava will use a Wheel Talisman to create an explosion at his feet to distract him long enough to swipe the mask off. If Lava becomes blind, he'll 'sense' for the heat signature he left on Onua to avoid and counterattack. When Onua uses the Mahiki, Lava will unleash a heatwave strong enough to dispel the illusion and reveal Onua's location before tearing into him with Volcanic Edge until Onua is defeated. Dual Cee Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Seeing the combo of his enhanced Agilty(equaling Onua's when special item is activated) and Mind(Stronger than Onua when item is used), Onua will quickly tunnel down(Both incredible Strenght and his Mind)evading any Mind-based attacks. He'll than quickly flee into the Dark dephts of his digged tunnel, after he blocked the entrance with his strenght bu trowing builders at it. After that he hides in the Darkness, limiting the high agility and mind due visibility! issues. Onua will have that visibility edge here, his eyes being adapted to the dark. He will then wait in the dark untill Lava has summoned enough power(already tiring him) to break down his cave entrance block. Then Lava won't see a thing in the dark, so he'll need to spark a flame too see, when Onua notices this he'll create a cave in, letting the whole cave collapse using his claws and elemental powers, he'll be protected from this attack by his control over Earth, his elemental powers will by fully used by then but his strenght will have some reserves, he'll then dig around untill he finds the (uncountious)body of Lava to finish him of. Canis Lycaon Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 (edited) I thought about the visor, and here is my suggestion on it: Brain Visor: Allows your fighter to detect and protect against arena traps and special features, ie: swamp creatures, tower defenses, Hapori Tohus, erupting volcanos; 10,000 W. My reasoning is the fact that the evil brains are a special arena feature. Edited March 9, 2013 by Canis Lupus Quote I used to have a banner here. But that RPG is dead. What now?
Dual Cee Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 (edited) 2v2 match:Onua will start of by creating a Large hill, then he'll use his strenght to pick up a Toa sized builder, he'll hold it above his head whil wearing earth gloves against Furno's fire which will start melting the rock, when the rock is almost molten he'll use his awesome Strenght(and Agility) to trow it at the two Toa, letting it function as a Giant Napalm bomb, they'll then repait the process 2 other times. Then out of nothing and while the enemies are still distracted, they will both run down the hill in speed(agility), then they will split up, Onua taking Surge, and Furno taking Ski. While running Onua'll recreate his Lightning-resistant Earth armor.Onua vs SurgeSurge can fly, which is a big problem for Onua, but he has fought flying enemies before and knows how to handle that. He'll create an illusion of antoher giant Fireball flying towards Surge from above, to make this Illusion undetectable he'll let a real, but smaller, stone fly coated in this illusion so if you fire at it you wont remark it being false instead of a normal one. Surge will have to land and face Onua, Onua will, with his protecting suit and equal agility defait Surge by blinding(it won't depend on this) him and run to and strike him in suprise with his strenght.Ski vs Surge:Basics of this theory: Stats are higher on any part. So he will just use all his advantages, striking Ski in any possible way. If the staff is used he will focus on harder dodgable fire attacks(large flames of fire) untill the effects are over.If any of the two sees the other is in a hard situation they will try to help by blasting the others oppenement in his back, if a fighter falls, the other will flee back towards the hill and will use this terrain advantage to keep standing while the other recovers, after the other recovers he'll attack the oppenemnts in their backs. If any of the opponements fells the other will make sure he's knocked out enough so he won't wake up during the battle, and then he'll go help his teammate. Trijhak Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 (edited) 2v2 strategy, from both me and Portalfig:Ski will start off by slowing down both of their enemies, while Surge flies up into the air. Ski will hold out his ski pole, and Surge will charge it with electricity from the sky. Ski will go and try to take down Furno, while Surge will take Onua from the air, taking advantage of his agility. If either Onua or Furno try to take out Surge's wing boosters, Surge will try to repower them with hhis electricity. Surge's basis for flying while fighting Onua is that Onua controls the earth, and as long as he is off the Earth, Onua is not nearly as effective as he would be otherwise.Surge will fly-strafe around Onua, occasionally sending out a strike of lightning, then going in for a flying lightning kick to hopefully dislodge any mask that Onua might be wearing. If Onua uses his Kanohi Ruru, hopefully Surge can fly upwards to escape, and if he uses his Kanohi Mahiki, then Surge will attack them all. After that, Surge will make use of his flight, agility and mind to fly around Onua at a high speed, leaving behind a trail of lightning, trapping him in electricity. Surge will then fly up skywards. But if he see Ski is nearly defeated, Surge will rush over and protect Ski by creating a cage of lightning around him, hopefully preventing either opponent from touching Ski.Meanwhile, Ski will dual-wield the ski pole in one hand, and the staff of slowness in the other. He will circle Furno then, constantly beating him with the staff, and stabbing him with the charged Ski Pole if he gets too close. Ski will also strike Furno with slowness every now and again, so he doesn't re-gain the agility advantage. Ski will also try to bring Furno close to any widespread elemental attacks that onua uses, to hopefully make them injure each other. If Furno decides to start to use his elemental powers, Ski will attempt to knock him off of his feet and onto the ground, then beat him constantly while he is down. When Furno gets back on his feet, Ski will try to continue his strategy. If Onua comes close, Ski will back off, and start firing his Energy bolts at them both until Surge comes and picks him up.Surge will be flying above the arena, firing shot after shot from his Arc Lightning Bow at Onua. When Onua tries to use elemental attacks at Surge, Surge will use his high agility stat to avoid it. Anytime Onua starts getting too fast for his own good, Surge will call out to Ski, and Ski will attempt to slow him down as well without breaking stride. If Onua tries to launch himself up towards surge, then Surge will use his electricity to zap Onua constantly while he is in the air. If Onua goes over to help Furno, then Surge will sheathe his bow and pick Ski up, and start flying around. When then are flying, Ski will use his ski pole to fire energy blasts down at the other two, while Surge will attempt to steer clear of any sort of projectiles that they will try to use to take them down. If Surge thinks that he can't hold on to Ski any longer, he will fling Ski down at them both, by using his wing boosters to increase both their speeds as fast as he can before letting ski go. Then Ski will hold out his electrified ski pole at the one who he heading towards. He will therefore pile drive that player into the ground, while being electrified and being stabbed and being shot point blank by a energy shot.If that happens, Surge will continue to destroy the other player left from the sky, by shooting them with electricity using his high mind stat. If the remaining player is Furno, Surge will stop flying and start running at a high speed, spiralling around Furno until both physically touch, at which point Surge will frontflip over Furno while charging him with electricity. If the remaining player is Onua, Surge will remain flying and continually send out a stream of electricity at Onua, and when he is weakened enough, Surge will fly high above Onua, then charge himself with electricity, and then face downwards towards Onua, flying at a high velocity towards him, hopefully finishing him off. Or perhaps finishing them both off, possibly resulting in a draw. Edited March 9, 2013 by Negative Quote On Bota Magna, everything is about to fall apart.
Canis Lycaon Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 I would say it is just low. Anyways, the reason he's asking is because we're having a fight on the Valiant. I will sponsor with 1000 W, him with 500 W. Here is my strategy: Millennium wil create his layer of light that provides ambient heat to warm up the area around him, melting any ice. He will make a solid light hologram duplicate of himself, and together they will attack Kopaka. The duplicate will attack with its Solar Axe, and Millennium keeping his distance with lasers and energy bolts. If Kopaka tries to latch a Brain onto him, he will speed away and let his duplicate get the Brain, but the duplicate will not be affected. Millennium will keep his distance from Kopaka, shooting him with lasers. Quote I used to have a banner here. But that RPG is dead. What now?
Pahrak Model ZX Posted March 9, 2013 Author Posted March 9, 2013 (edited) I'd like to apologize for my absence yesterday--I ended up being busier than I expected. I will do my best to prevent it from happening again. Onua vs Millennia: Onua protects himself against being blinded and then uses his edges in agility and strength while his foe is impaired. Onua wins 5,000 W. Canis: I'll consider the Disk and Visor. Strategy received. Onua vs Lava: Onua's tunneling strategy gives him a large advantage. Onua wins 7,500 W. Zakaro: Breez's stats have been updated. You currently have 15,750 W. Vox: The gravity is just low, not completely gone. 2v2 Match: The Slow effect will give Surge time to fly up out of the range of the “napalm rock”, though Ski will still be damaged. Surge should be able to hit Onua before he repeats the attack, allowing Ski to close in on Furno and begin attacking him. Since the ski pole will be electrified by Surge’s mind it will be much more effective, and the Slow effect will enable Ski to be a bit more agile than Furno. The illusion will probably make Surge come in for a landing, but he’ll probably turn this into his “flying lightning kick” and catch Onua by surprise but doing reduced damage due to Onua’s suit. Ski should be able to knock Furno off his feet and deal several hits, drawing Onua’s attention, which should prompt him to back off. At this point the strategy of Surge carrying Ski into the air will come into effect. However, the effectiveness of the blasts Ski fires may not be enough to stop their opponents from launching more exploding rocks at them, and with added weight Surge will be less agile. Assuming they somehow hold on and Surge flings Ski into Furno, Furno will take some damage but Ski, with his lower toughness, may end up taking more. This leads to Ski being defeated by Furno and Onua. Since Surge is still in the air he can keep attacking and may have a chance of defeating Onua, who isn’t using wide spreads of projectiles, but I doubt he can take them both out on his own, even if they are worn down. Onua and Furno win 10,000 W, and Ski and Surge receive 5,000 W for participating. Edited March 9, 2013 by Dinobot Pahrak Quote My Library Right of Law (Epics) KARDAS DRAGON appears! (G&T)
