For those who will likely ask when reading some of my non-RP posts: for me, "*shot*' = "I know that what I said was something stupid and I am acknowledging this before people think I'm serious."

Oh yeah, and my current BZPRPG character bio can be found here.

"Why...me? Oh yeah, that's right. I'm weak. I'm of a minority, a minority of people with a common trait: we hear too much. And what we're supposed to hear hurts to hear. When I'm alone in a silent room, I can hear a pebble dropping from a mile away. I can hear a motor boat being started up several yards off the coast. A whisper from outside, I can hear as if they were talking right at me. An explosion in another koro, I hear as if it's just outside. Sounds useful, right?"

"Wrong."

"It's a curse, if you ask me. The same pen dropping inside this aforementioned silent room would ring in my ears. If I stood by the same motor, I'd get a headache. The same whisper would ring in my ear like two metal beams being slammed together in front of my face. The same explosion would render me deaf for years...thank the Spirit I thought of getting me something to dampen the noise, or I'd end up like the rest of my kind..."

OOC: You know what, I'm just retconning the breakout entirely. Also, Draezeth? Major autohit dude. Not cool.

IC: Strakolix

"Please do tell me more. By the way, do you have any evidence that I committed these atrocities?"

OOC: Sorry, but you can't just break out. People always assume it's so easy, but it's not. You also made major assumptions about guard placement and such. And ignored the gun's placement. But yeah, retcon.

IC: Suran

The Lesterin entered the prison again, noting the gun well out of sight of the cell, in an evidence satchel.

IC: Voutok"You mean aside from the hole in the lily pad, the plasma-damaged razor blades on one of my discs that now needs to be repaired, the plasma cannon that caused both which likely has your finger prints on it, and three Marines and a third party witnessing the event? Oh no, absolutely no evidence. We just locked you in this cell for kicks and giggles." the De-Matoran scoffed, hoping to make sure it was clear to the Vortixx he was being sarcastic.

"FIngerprints? That's funny it looks like I'm wearing gloves. And what proof do you have that I caused that destruction other than a few witnesses who could have been bribed? And may I meet the witnesses? And don't I have a right to a trial with an attorney and a jury? And what about letters? Can I send or recieve mail? Then again, who would I send mail to? I don't remember anyone. Still if someone sends me mail, can I look at it?"

"They all look like stores to me, and I don't know what supplies you're talking about needing, so I don't think my opinion will be very helpful here." He responded, looking over the surroundings.

The village looked so strange after the long time he'd been gone, like a welcome friend, and an old enemy. It was a conflicted feeling, something he supposed would eventually pass.

"Fair enough." After glancing around, he decided on a random store and went inside. "Hey, look, coats. You don't see those very often." He looked at one that caught his eye in particular, then put it on. The Toa of Plasma took out his sunglasses and put those on too, then turned to Vrana and grinned. "What do you think?"

[OOC: ToaKapura, be patient. We don't all type at the speed of light XD]IC: VoutokThe De-Matoran uttered a chuckle."Oh don't worry, you'll get your trial. Just as soon as Akiri Hahli and/or the Captain can be bothered to deal with you. As for the witnesses: you're looking at one, the Lesterin outside this cell block is another, another Marine is on duty, likely conversing with the aforementioned "third party" right now. Top that off with the dozens of citizens who likely saw you shooting "warning shots" outside a public tavern and delivering threats, and I'd say we have a fairly decent case. Marines kinda swear an oath and it is against their duty to accept bribes. In terms of outside communication, if the Akiri or Captain sees it fit you will be allowed to send one letter. But, of course, I personally wouldn't count on it."Voutok turned towards the entrance, where Suran had taken a seat. "Suran, when do you estimate the Akiri or Captain will be able to see our little 'amnesic' guest?" Voutok too was not going to easily believe that the Vortixx didn't remember anything, given his infamy for lying.

OOC: Making a slight change. Suran is now a corporal (second lowest rank, it's legal) with authority mostly with guards assigned to the prison.

IC: Suran

The Lesterin stood and walked closer to Voutok, "An assassination was attempted today, I expect the captured suspect will be brought in soon. That will take priority over this for a while yet. This Vortixx's crimes, though persistent, are not so terrible. However, the timing of both crimes is suspicious, and your" he turned to the criminal "actions may be perceived as a part of the plot. And to answer your questions, the investigation will reveal all that we need. Now is not the time to discuss your innocence. All prisoners are fed according to a schedule. The next feeding is in two hours."

He sighed. He wasn't used to speaking at length like that.

"Your pardon can only be hastened by so much. The fact remains that you are a criminal- or somebody under mind-control- and must serve a sentence." Without waiting for more, he turned and left, but then stopped and turned back around with a hint of a smile on his face.

"And lie at your own risk. There is a reason why everyone is happy with our judgment." He was, of course, referring to Toa Leah's Kanohi, which could detect dishonestly.

Again, the "Matoran who cried Muaka" principle can pretty much be applied here. Now I shall second Corporal Suran's statement, which in short means 'shut up until further notice'."

IC: Seria (Underwater)

Though she may not wear the mask of Water Breathing, she still loves to be in the water and soak up the serenity of the ocean. She tries to stay there as long as she can, but she has to come back up for air. The nice thing about Ga-Wahi, is how beautiful the whole area is. From the water, to the beach.

IC: VoutokRolling his eyes, Voutok replied "If you have evidence, you may show it when the Akiri or Captain arrives." Voutok then refused to answer any more questions from this Vortixx, instead maintaining a cold stare from across the hall at the Vortixx within his cell, only occasionally checking Suran to see if the Akiri arrived.

Cadias, noticing the encouraging response from the villagers, felt his confidence in his sense of fashion return. "Well, I like it. Excuse me! Shopkeeper! What do you call this coat, and how much does it cost?"

"It's called a trenchcoat, and it's 50 widgets."

Cadias, resisting the urge to yell about how outrageous that was, handed over the money. "You sure you don't want something? If we end up in Ko-Wahi, you're going to get cold."

He was about to respond negatively, but his memory arose that he no longer had his wings to help keep him warm. He had no feather to protects his body from the biting cold, and his armor was certainly not built to do so. It would be very, very cold.

Cadias admired his new coat for a moment in a mirror. It was dark grey in color, and went quite well with the dark colors of his armor. He handed the shopkeeper another 50 widgets, woefully noting that his supply of money was rapidly disappearing. "Alright, take your pick."

He put his sunglasses in one of the pockets. "Hmm, these pockets might be useful."

The Lesterin looked up as the door entered. Three Marine Matoran escorted an obviously intoxicated prisoner inside. The Corporal stood up, "This is..."

"The Matoran who made an attempt on the Akiri's life, sir!"

Suran nodded. "Cell 18." ((For reference, it's across from Strakolix, and three cells farther from the door.))

The Matoran quickly obliged, guiding the compliant but incoherent prisoner to his cell.

IC: Iraanus raised an eyebrow, glancing at his companions. "Nice to meet you, too," he said slowly. "Not sure where you heard that, 'cause, um, I have no idea what you're talking about. 'Skakdi Liberation League'? Is this some kind of half-baked ILS rip-off?"

The Lesterin wearily returned to the Vortixx's prison, "Silence. Your time to speak will come. Now is not that time. If you continue, you will be forcibly silenced." He sincerely hoped Toa Leah would have time to spare the use of her mask to judge him.

Leah nodded once, smiling at Hahli. "Yes, Akiri. My pleasure."

She then turned to Verak and motioned for him to head for the door, her moving up behind him. She gave him a gentle push on the back to get him walking. Always the rebel...

They stepped back out into the village and Leah escorted the Toa of sand back to the Ga-Koro prison in the Marines HQ. They moved through the village at a steady pace, until the arrive at the gates of larger building. It, like the rest of Ga-Koro, was floating, but Leah knew there were pillars underneath for support. The HQ had been heavily fortified in the past months and the marines were keeping a very close eye on everything. But the guards didn't stop her, as she and the Po-Toa walked in. They did glare at Verak, but seeing that he was beeing escorted by the Toa Maru of water, they left it at that.

Together they entered through heavy doors and Leah took him downstairs into the lower levels, where the prisoners were kept. It was a security measure, since being surrounded by water only leftup' as a direction to get out. Verak had been smart to wait for a hearing to make an attempt to get out.

Upon entering the cell-block, they spotted two figures in the hallway. One was De-Matoran she recognized as Voutok, the other a Lesterin she didn't know by name. The latter looked over to her from in front of the cell he stood before, as if expecting to see somebody to arrive. Leah smiled friendly at them both, but kept moving. Getting closer to his new cell, Verak started to slow down again, so Leah pushed him forward once more.

"One new guest to drop off. Well, more like returning guest." she just explained as she ushered him into the adjacent cell next to that of the Vortixx. She winked at Verak. "Stay put." she just said as she closed the door again. It clunked shut, the lock engaging with an audible click.

The Toa Maru turned back to Voutok and the Lesterin. "So, who are you waiting for?" she asked.

---------------------------------------

Rhow's expression didn't much differ from that of Iraanus. She was looking at him from behind the bar. She was drying freshly washed glasses with a rag. Nothing much had changed about her in the past three months, save for dozens of new scars. Well, maybe one thing: She was now helping to run a legitimate business. Which meant a more responsible lifestyle, a roof over the head and a warm bed for the nights. But she had not gone soft because of it. The Skakdi of water was as tough as ever. She growled slightly, rolling her shoulders and neck, vertebrae popping as she did.

"A league? Really. Didn't figure there were that many of us on this rock to begin with." she said, shrugging. "What's their story?"

OOC: Shortest reintroduction to her char ever =P But that's Rhow. Straight to the point.

"That would probably be me, Toa-hero."

The assumption, coupled with a warm chuckle, came from the Akiri herself, walking in right behind Toa Maru Leah; behind her were four Marines, two rows of two, acting as a sort of honor guard and defense force for Hahli. She smiled at Leah, Voutok and the Lesterin Marine before looking down the prison block at the Le-Matoran who had attempted to put an end to her life and at a new Vortixx who, from the looks of things, had done his share of rambling.

"I was told specifically I was needed for something, boys. What can I do for you?"

"I swear, she couldn't have given me vaguer directions," Eutuchia lamented, trying to find the home of this doctor that he didn't even know. The last time he'd been harmed he'd been fixed by the Marine's personal medic, but she was dead now, sooo...

What a shame, too; she was rather nice.

Sighing, and ignoring the wound in his side (that was slowly clotting), he knocked on one last door.

The Lesterin bowed deeply to the Toa and Akiri. "Welcome, Toa Maru, Akiri." He gestured to the prisoners as he spoke of them, "This Le-Matoran was found attempting to break into your hut, Akiri, although he appears to be too intoxicated to be aware of what he had been doing. The Vortixx was found selling contraband, and attempted to avoid arrest. He claims to have been involved in a plot involving the Le-Matoran to assassinate you, Akiri Hahli, though it must be noted that he only made that claim after he was informed that cooperation might grant him an early release."

I looked back at Tillian and the Ga-Toa, I hummed to myself, then I shuffled my feet in the sand, then I stared at Skyra...the bear. He stared back.

"Boo." The bear gave out a cry and hid behind Tillian, looking at me with annoyance. I cackled.

I quickly went up to Tillian and the Ga-Toa. "I have an idea! I'm off duty for the next couple of days and bored out of my mind. Why don't we go do something? Have an adventure of sorts! We could...go to Po-koro! See how Naona and all her blasted paperwork is doing! Fangirl here can come along too."

I glanced back at where the Le-Toa had been standing....only she wasn't there anymore. I sighed, I guess she hadn't been Liara after all.

I looked back toward Tillian. "What do you say bestie? Adventure time?"

"I know about the Le-Matoran and the assassination attempt. I was there," Hahli remarked dryly, pulling up a chair and sitting with the Marines at the cell block. "I also know that someone put an arrow through my secretary's ribs trying to shut up our little drunkard down the aisle. What I want to know is who else is involved, so I guess it's fortuitous that we're all here. Toa Leah, do you have your mask ready? I want to start with the Vortixx."

At a nod from the Toa Maru, she scooted her seat up so that she could face the Vortixx more clearly and examined the criminal.

"You know who I am, I'm guessing."
