  1. "Is something wrong Brother? What troubles you?" Her muted reply comes from afar, as if through a heavy curtain. Her voice is familiar . . . and yet it is tinged with . . . what? Concern? It is so hard to . . . tell. Quick as a blink, the world ceases it's murky, sick tint and his eyes burn with terrible clarity. Hyper-sensitivity shatters mind and body like thin glass, and inwardly he writhes at the searing cuts. A breath of wind is a scream. The sandy street grinds his feet away. Colors . . . they burn the eyes. He stifles a moan as his brain is struck with a violent ache. He totters, nerves on fire. He feels every scratch on the nearby figures metallic blue body, every creak and groan of her metal bones, and every swish of her toned muscles rubbing against rough silver armor. Her sunset eyes glow bright and make him wince. She is concerned. More than that, she is alarmed; wary. Afraid. Rightly so. She should be. He can burn her to ash. He opens his mouth in shock at the evil thought. No! He must protect her. All of them. No time. No time at all to linger here. He must go quickly or those around will perish. The thought delights him. It makes him vomit sparks and sizzling green acid. No time. He feels it coming, something wrong inside, shadows twisting into knots, a flood of heat and fire raging so close that his heart quails. A darkness gathers, and he reels away from the clammy touch of it on his shoulder, and it whispers obscenities with a grating whisper that thunders in his ear and mind. It is frighteningly familiar. Like an old friend with a smile and a knife. The fire inside begins to consume. "Run! Run Gali! No time . . . " his tortured whisper spits. A volcano blossoms and roars to be free, and a voice sibilantly intones, "Break our chains. Empty yourself, and become one with the Void." "Are you frightened, Fire Spitter? Of me? Of us?" Gali comes forward, her worry salty to the senses. He franticly whirls around and sees nothing but construction and half made silver structures, pointing like fingers in the twilit sky. Domes catch the suns last orange rays. Not here! He screams to himself. There are people here. Matoran will be hurt. The Voice pushes with a seductive hand. "Yes. Try this one." He can't stop it. The volcano erupts with a fraction of it's mighty power. He roars and clenches his metal hands as energy courses through his muscled red body. Night comes forth. Blackness incarnate, swirling with flame; pure Void wreathed in fire. He longs to loose it on the world. A twisted smile splits his masked face. She does not have time to cry out. At the last moment Gali's hands release a nimbus of watery blue and a large bubble envelopes her in a life saving embrace. It is not enough. Power smashes into her like a boiling wave from Karzahni with such force she gapes. And then she is gone, her defense boiled away in a heart beat, her body blasted away down the sandy street and through several buildings by a fist of Void. The Dark grows, and a wall of wind picks up sparks and flame and unleashes a maelstrom of destruction in a massive radius. Empty homes melt. Half-made towers burn. Cries drift faintly on a deadly wind. Paradise this will be no more. No! No! Gali! The City! He roars for control, and his muscles and pistons bulge as the torrent of calamity ceases. But the damage is done. His mind is breaking, and an aura of heat and shadow cloaks him as if to strangle him. All around lies charred remains. His gold armor gleams. The dam crumbles and a flood bursts through. His flaming eyes brighten. A terrible, familiar whisper laughs a knife of ice inward through the boiling chaos. He must get away. Before the dam is gone. With a cry trailing behind, he runs. He speeds through empty streets like a comet. The ground shudders and erupts under his feet. Sand liquifies into green acid. A halo of lightning falls from quickly gathering clouds that eat the sky. Hardly realizing what is happening, he melts through the Great Wall of stone and steel and breaks through, rushing on. He must get away. So others will be safe. He runs. Terrified. Exhilarated. Panicked, The storm now gathers in the evening sky from all directions. Hot rain splatters and sizzles on dry ground and grass. A slashing gust of air brings anger and confusion. Shadows dance in macabre shapes and kindle hunger in his body. Bouts of flame gasp out of his mouth as the light in his armored chest flickers. Hungry for substance. Thirsty for life, but only heat to drink. He reaches. He consumes. Energy flares. The storm grows up above and swirls with chaos. An eye appears and forms out of roaring wind and thunder, and it's chilling calm removes the fury outside. Then a prickle on his neck. A blackness seeps into his bones and oozes down his spine. He spasms and fights for control. A figure appears out of the raging dark, slowly and deliberately in his minds eye. Black as pitch, lightning darting behind it. He is looking at himself, a dark reflection of what is. Its voice slithers around him with tentacles of cold shadow, ready to extinguish his fire, and he knows the voice with a crippling clarity. It is not his own though it comes from the evil mirror image of himself. The ensuing laugh resonates from the darkness. "Tahu . . . old friend. Was I missed?" A silence quivers in the heart of the storm. "You." The voice slides like oil. "Tis I, little one, born from the void, come back from nothing. See me. Know me." The storm falters as Tahu collapses from a hidden strain. "Yes Tahu. Your destiny is mine. Ever since I saw you your light burned bright. Did you think I fell? When my brother struck me down at the height of glory and triumph?" The voice becomes still and reflective, which is more frightening then it's sibilant dreadful tones. "Such power was mine. And now? A hundred millennia for nothing," it spits, then continuos with a sly tongue, "Ah . . . no matter. A new era is dawning. The future awaits. And not even my brother shall stop me . . . stop us, this time." Tahu pushes helplessly against the tentacles that bury into his body and influence him, on the verge of terror. "I will not be your lackey like some Rahi, or fall under your shadow. I'd rather die," he defies hoarsely. "That will be arranged," rumbles the voice, "I only need your exceptional physical body once I skin you of that foul golden armor. I knew you would not break or kneel on your own free will . . . but there was alway the hope. No matter. You will quite simply fight yourself." Tahu's mind erupts in pain as if needles of ice are being hammered in. He writhes in agony. "There are a thousand ways to die. Most will hurt," the dark figure grates. The pain is endless and mounting. Tahu screeches to rip off his mask, anything that will lessen the assault. Hope begins to shrivel like a dead blossom. Life flashes as his body leaves his minds grasp, and he can feel the voices perverse smile. He pulls the only strand in the web that could free him. Anger. Fury descends while at the same time he inflicts a psychic barrage of pure mental confusion at the shadows. Success filters through the rage as the voice roars in consternation and the tentacles slip. He can feel his body again. But the voice is still there, unleashing chaos. "Yes Tahu. The shadow is part of you now, it has always been, and this time I will prevail. Tahu grimaces as another round of psychic pain bombards him. He . . . cannot . . . get free. The darkness . . . the poison! . . . it eats away. Two Tahus face one another. Light and Dark. There is only one way to end it. One way. Light Tahu manages a resigned and grimacing smile. "You shall not have any part of me Makuta. And you shall never see the light nor the dark again. It is your time. And I will take us both into the Void before I let you walk again. Let Destiny decide our doom." He searches and finds the dying chaos of Light Tahu, the rage and power of Shadow Tahu, and the black monstrous presence of Makuta's spirit pulling their strings like a puppeteer. Tahu digs deep, and feels the ocean of fire inside. Tahu reaches, and hot warmth becomes sizzling heat. The ground turns to glass. A nimbus of pure fire burns like a star. The thought dwells in him that chaos will be unleashed, that the City will burn and that the land will be ash for a millennia. Shadow Tahu laughs violently. Light Tahu shudders in agony. Makuta thunders for control. Can he destroy all he knows? Can he even banish the demons that haunt him? Will he violate his oaths and code to achieve peace? He decides. He lets it all go. Only one thing matters. Evil will be vanquished at all costs. A small price for destroying the Shadows. ~ Gali wakes from her her crumbled sleep and stumbles out of the burning dwelling that would be her tomb. It collapses with a rush of sparks and a whooshing crash of heat. Her body quivers and aches, her mutilated armor charred. Her armor and power protected her, and she sends a prayer of thanks to the heavens. Her eyes wander over the destruction brought to here. Tahu is gone. No bodies, thank Mata Nui. She acts quickly and decisively. There is no time for panicked worry or befuddled horror. She raises her hands and calls to the sky as an aura of blue surrounds her. Clouds stir and gather into heavy grey lumps, the last rays of sunset glinting of the swirling moisture. A cool drizzle turns to pouring rain in an instant, and douses the hungry fires and smoke all around. Water heals and smooths torn earth, and the sharp smell of soot fades into a refreshing aroma of spring. The rain ceases, and rivulets of water drip down over broken ruins. Steam curls. She cannot linger or help those trapped in the rubble. She can feel a familiar coldness creeping into her being, and quickly takes in the northern sky and gapes at a whirling vortex consuming the horizon in flame, ash, and dark flashing clouds. Chaos. For a fleeting moment she catches a glimpse of blood red eyes glowing in its depths, and she knows them. No. It cannot be. "Makuta," she spits. She sucks in cool evening air tinged with a trace of the bitter destruction to the north. She cannot do this alone. But few are near who can aid in time. Her brothers are scattered, her friends near yet beyond aid, The Council! There is a way. Hastily her mind wanders down a little used path, praying she will get through. She probes a psychic landscape and finds the faint pathway with a feeling of triumph. Her voice is flung an incomprehensible distance. Brother, heed me. Tahu sickens. Makuta has risen. He returns and attempts to destroy him. Doom is at hand for the City. Help me now and bring aid. Use the suva to travel here now. I go to my duty . . . and perhaps my destiny. She sends a picture, the world in chaos. Silence fills the empty aftermath of her mental shout. No answer. She cries out in frustration. No one can come. She steels herself for the battle of a lifetime. Not since Karzahni itself was submerged by her hand has she called upon the waters to aid her like this. Suddenly a voice enters her mind like a sunbeam through cloud, warm and light, masculine, and full of intense scrutiny and worry. No question is raised as they exchange pictures with one another at the speed of thought. I come sister with powerful friends. Be strong. My friends are . . . very eager to end this. I will not need a shrine to quick-travel there. The voice leaves her, and Gali relaxes with a shaky breath as peace calms her. She sets her teeth and readies herself. Aches are washed away in healing drops of dew. Armor adapts, smooths, and ripples into strong sliver plating that will handle the worst of flames. Oh Tahu . . . please be alright. Her metallic skin prickles, and she turns to behold the wall of a still-standing building of great height. Space in front of it suddenly warps and congeals like gel, and Gali steps back as monsters and giants emerge out of thin air. A dragon, mighty and quivering with familiar darkness and power, sweeps by her without notice, a rapturous gleam in his eye of fire and an eager smile on jaws that could snap her head off. Next comes a handsome yet monstrously alien being, tall and gold with bulging muscles and cracked armor that oozes green haze. He floats in a halo of green energy and glows with a dark power. He looks at Gali through a misty eyed helmet, and eyes blaze at her uncomfortably. On his heels is a female Toa, lithe and dangerous with a curvaceous blue armored body. Gali feels a kinship with the sister Toa, but it swiftly ends with the murderous light in the others eyes. A glowing red gem beats in her chest. She walks forward as if every move will kill, and broken shackles are around her arms. Behind her out of nothingness, a giant being seemingly carved out of ancient stone with every muscle etched with symbols strides a head taller than even the dragon. A regal power that could level a realm goes before him, and his slit eyes glow with green death. As he unsheathes a massive war hammer, the last figure pops through just as space snaps back with a thud and a flash. Gali smiles as he comes forward, a figure brilliant as a midday sun, an energetic grace to his walk. A concerned frown parts his handsome yet mottled gold and white features. All five of them look at the horizon, unspoken questions meeting unspoken answers. The male Toa's face darkens. "Fortune favored us Gali. I guess Destiny, it would seem, brought us here." Gali nods with relief, then self consciously bows a little at the beings before her. Most do not deserve her respect at all, but she relents in the face of such power here. "Thank you Takanuva. Thank you all for coming. Makuta has returned, and the rivers for kios around are crying out." The Dragon hisses sarcastically, "Fools to think you were rid of him so easily. Perhaps "Destiny", as you say, will let me have my revenge after all." The female Toa scoffs, "Destiny indeed Miserix," she sighs in detached vexation, as if the world in turmoil means nothing to her, "Well . . . It seems I am needed. Let us be quickly rid of this monster. I have a trial to attend," she bitterly grins. The floating gold being smiles placidly, "Tuyet, we are all monsters." "Shut up, Brutaka." Takanuva scolds, and glances at the last silent figure of ancient power. "Artahka was more than willing to help." His rumble could have been a thank you, "We meet again Gali. Lead on. In unity we shall end this destruction . . . in unity," he intones in his old and young voice at the others pointedly. Some nod reluctantly, and Gali is filled with hope. But can she truly lead this group of beings into chaos to face the Master of Shadows? Yes, she can, and will. "For Unity. For Duty. For Destiny. We shall end Makuta's threat forever. And he shall forever be . . . as nothing," she smiles grimly at a hidden joke. Takanuva nods in understanding. Tuyet smirks, "Is the noble Gali willing to get her hands dirty and violate her precious Toa Code? Can you truly destroy anything? Him? Can you truly do your oh so wonderful duty? Gali smiles back matter-of-factly. "When the time comes for any of that, I'll leave the Makuta for you. And Tuyet? Do not lay one drop or finger upon my brother." ~ They come. And nothing is going as planned. Tahi is strong. Too strong. Both Tahu's. The three of them duel, but he manages to hold them off to think. The storm swirls and crackles heat. Such power. A second chance. A hundred centuries of planning, and all for nothing and ruin. But an opportunity has arisen. And it is closing fast. What is Tahu doing? He burns with an orange glow. Horror blossoms at a realization, and Makuta knows an emotion that he never before even contemplated. Panic. He seeks to end me and take himself with it. Outraged silence trickles into a hideous steel trap of purpose. He laughs. It's maniacal sound strengthens the chaos outside. The cards have been played. Only one course remains. Total commitment. Tahu will die. But out of his ashes will arise a glorious dawn of darkness. Makuta, Master of Shadows, Lord of Darkness, Born of the Void, hurls his spirit like a wave of violence at Tahu's shadow half. Tahu's mind shatters. Victory is his. ~ Bursting into the terrible calm inside the storm stride two figures filled with purpose, one a beacon of brightness, the other a wellspring of life. Gali stops her rush, and Takanuva halts, shadows melting amid his vibrant glow. Tahu is there, prone on the ground, a quivering, smoking mess of acid and sparks. Gali can feel a thrumming heat in the air, and to her shock it is him, readying to call upon his ultimate power. He will vaporize everything. Tahu is also their, standing next to the other Tahu, flame and shadow writhing over his dark form. His twisted smile of triumph fades and is replaced with a grimace. Takanuva does not give Shadow Tahu time to react as he flings a solid wall of light between the two Tahus. "You are not my brother." Makuta grins and his voice spills forth out of Shadow Tahu's mouth. "Have you come for a rematch Toa of Light? Come to me and be complete in the Shadow." The Storm quivers as if struck by a mighty hand. Makuta purses his lips as if in concentration. Gali walks forward with confidence even as her allies dimly appear out of the storm. Makuta gasps as ripples of power knock him down. The Storm is blown apart like leaves in a gale. Artakha jogs out of the mist and the stars glimmer and extinguish the black darkness. Miserix roars, and the storm scatters. Tuyet blasts into view, a whirlpool of water rotating with power around her. Brutaka nears, and chaos melts before him, only to spring back with a new purpose and target, the Master of Shadows. They near, and Makuta lashes out with everything. Artahka struggles against solid blackness while Miserix seemingly flips out of control and lashes out with a multitude of destructive powers, striking and destroying nothing but phantasms created in his mind. Tuyet buckles under unseen strain, and a bolt of fire hits her square in the chest. She goes down. Before Brutaka can charge, a killing blow in his deadly eyes, Gali desperately raises her hand to stop him. Makuta looks at her with hate filled eyes. Urgency fills her voice. Light Tahu nears full power in his half conscience fetal position, and when he reaches the top, the resulting blast of fire will end them all. "Be gone Makuta. Go to the Void that you love. Tahu! Hear me! You know what to do! Take hold of yourself! Don't give up and throw everything away! Unity! Duty! Destiny!" Makuta and Tahu snarl, but in Tahu's eyes is recognition. And defeat. He cannot summon the strength. Gali acts in the only way she knows how. In a second, two spheres of silver water, glowing like twin moons, appear in her hands. Her body vibrates, then she casts the spheres forward. She promptly collapses in a frail heap as tremendous energy leaves her. Makuta shrieks as both Tahu's are hit with a sphere each. Creation stills. ~ "I will . . . be rid of you, once and for all!" cries Tahu inwardly as healing water seeps into his body. His spirit soars, his body burns away the poisons in his system. Makuta screams in agony as Shadow Tahu sizzles with steam, his evil grip loosening. The two Tahu's gaze at one another, one dark, one light. Tahu smiles and beckons as he regains a shaky composure on his wobbly legs. It is over. Shadow Tahu does not have time to protest as he dissolves with a shriek into black soot and whooshes back into Tahu, pelting him with black sludge. The shock of being whole again floors him and he fights the urge to slip into comforting nothingness. His last sight beholds a twisted and smoky little form of ugly slime and shadow left in the place of his alter-ego. Six mighty warriors surround it. Feverish red eyes briefly glance into Tahu's soul from that hideous spirit. Pain. Fury. Defeat. No regret. A lifetime flashing in it's old and sickly gaze. It glances at the sky and curses a word Tahu can barely make out. Mata Nui. A tremendous flash consumes the last of his vision, and Makuta is no more. Victory. Content. Peace finally enters and quenches his soul like a pleasing rain, like a cozy warmth. He is whole. He is Tahu, Fire that burned against the Void. A comforting hand is laid over him, and he knows nothing more as sleep takes him. ~Fin~ (Takes a breath) Yeah well . . . I tried haha. My first little story (bows formally). Anyway, my logic for this story could almost kinda sorta fit into canon almost . . . This whole thing takes place . . . oh . . . a week to a month after Bionicles official ending. When starting, I asked myself, "Gee. I wonder what it was like for Tahu to suddenly get slammed with 40 + powers and abilities after zapping the Rahkshi." Thus my story was born. Would Tahu be adversely affected with the new powers? Acid? Shadow? All the rest? What about Makuta? What if through some complicated mumbo jumbo, Makuta survived the Moon Hit and Tahu drew his spirit like a moth to flame? So yeah. Lot of hypotheticals. And don't get me started on how Artakha and the rest could be around after Velika's finger was about to press the Big Boom of Death Button But Bionicle Ended So We Can't Know The Fate of All those Beings In That Room With Vezon. The horror. So I had to improvise. Oh well. I enjoy writing, and I hoped you liked the read. (edit) I mistakingly referred to Takanuva as Toa of Twilight, and such is not the case at this present time. The error has been corrected.
  2. Most fans who were following the story in 2001 were familiar with The Legend of Mata Nui, as the Turaga told it to the Matoran of Metru Nui who had emigrated to Mata Nui by that time. As a quick refresher, it goes somewhat like this: "In the time before time, the great spirit Mata Nui descended from the skies like a burning star, bringing we, the Matoran to this island, and gifting us with the three virtues: unity, duty, and destiny. We named this island after the great spirit himself in his honor, and it was a paradise for some time. But, Mata Nui had a brother; the dark spirit Makuta. Makuta had followed his brother to our paradise, and he was jealous of all the praise that he received from the Matoran. So, Makuta cast Mata Nui into a deep, dark sleep... There might have been a segment predicting the arrival of the Toa Mata, but it doesn't matter much to my point, as the types of words and the heavy use of simplistic metaphors is present in that section too. The legend is known for being very simplistic, greatly condensing and metaphorically describing much of what we actually know to have happened in the canon during the months preceding, during, and immediately after the Great Cataclysm. If a person were to lose all every single one of their memories, than they'd practically be an animal, with little to no human intelligence. This is regularly done on purpose to many of the droids in the Star Wars universe, and not only do they lose their memories of past events that they witnessed or learned of, they lose their abilities to read, write, talk, and assemble or disassemble even simple mechanical objects; in short, they need to be re-taught everything. If the Matoran of Metru Nui really lost every single one of their memories, than they would have very little intelligence for several months, or possibly years of their time on Mata Nui; it would depend on how long it took the Turaga to reteach every individual Matoran everything, or for the Matoran to teach themselves. During the period in between being liberated from the pods in which they were "sleeping" and having completely mastered everything that they needed to relearn, the Legend of Mata Nui story would have been useful in explaining their predicament in simple terms: basically, that there's a guy named Makuta, he's evil, and he hates you, much like a parent would do for a very young child. The Legend of Mata Nui was crafted to be very simple because Matoran with complete memory loss wouldn't be able to understand a more complex version. This could also explain why the majority of the technology on Mata Nui was many times more primitive than that of Metru Nui prior to the Great Catacylsm; the Matoran would have had to start from the most basic tools and work their way up in terms of developing new technology, which was probably further stunted when Teridax's rahi attacks began in full force. We don't know how long it took the Matoran to invent their chute system after they had begun to live in Metru Nui, but it easily could have been tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of years; human civilization has been around for roughly 11,000 years, and we haven't invented a chute system for transportation just yet.
  3. Do any of you have these two parts? I would be willing to buy them or trade for them. I bought a used Makuta set at Goodwill for $3 and these were the only two parts missing. Thanks! Flat Silver Avohkii Pearl Dark Gray Technic Block
  4. So we all know of the Brotherhood of Makuta, and their ability to create Kraata from their own substance, and by extension create Rahkshi for their armies. I found it interesting that after the Makuta "evolved" they were able to solidify their own substance and give it independent life (albeit in complete servitude to the Makuta who made them) which gave me several questions to consider: 1. Can the Makuta in question actually choose what type of power the Kraata has when it is "born"? Or do they just randomize the 42 different powers that it could possibly have? I'm aiming at the being able to choose, if Teridax is anything to go by, considering it appears he didn't have to go through multiple Kraata before he got to the proper combination that he wanted to attack Mata Nui and find the Seventh Toa. 2. If the Makuta can solidify their substance and give them independent life, I'm wondering if they're in theory able to do that with larger portions of their substance, making sort of "Mini-Makuta" with more powers than Kraata and perhaps more intelligence (kinda like doppelgängers of themselves). I know it has never been done canon-wise, but considering all that the Makuta were able to accomplish already, it doesn't seem that much of a stretch for them. It'd be a clever way for a Makuta to "avoid death" if they created a double of themselves, and let that one do their dirty work, while the original stayed hidden, behind the scenes (it be a nice plot twist if anyone wants a particular Makuta to survive the genocide that became of their species.) 3. Given what happened to the Makuta, I wonder if after so many thousand years, if Kraata revert back into energy and just "fade away" needing to be replaced by another? Or can a Kraata remain in solid form for as long as they exist? That's about it, you guys know the drill... questions, comments, rude remarks?
  5. Ok, just a quick question: Was there another robot somewhere on Bara Magna? Because (correct me if I'm wrong), wasn't the final step in The Reforming for Mata Nui to leave the MU Robot and inhabit another one, and Makuta and him would reform the planet? Or did the GB's expect Mata Nui to get the Prototype working again?
  6. I was just responding to a topic (posted by Mampt) opn how long a Matoran's lifespan is, and how, if at all, they perceive time differently than we do. With all of that discussion, it occurred to me that it's never explained in story how a being such as a Makuta "evolves". It's made clear that all members of the species "evolved" at one point in time to be composed of gaseous antidermis instead of a physical body, and that the change occurred at the same time, or at least at close to the same time, for all Makuta; Makuta like Miserix and Spiriah were no longer members of the Brotherhood at the time that the change occurred, and so they had to find their own ways to adapt, without the Nynrah Ghosts. There isn't any record of a Makuta who did not evolve. In humans, as well as all other species that we know to currently live or have previously lived on Earth, this is not how evolution is generally understood to work. A species evolves as a whole over a period of many generations, by random mutations in the DNA of individuals of said species and the "weeding out" process of natural selection. No species that we know of evolves all at once, with every single member of the species evolving in the exact same way. My question is whether anyone thinks that Greg was referring to something else when he used the term "evolve", or whether Matoran Universe species evolve differently than Earth species do, or any other ideas that you may have. All theories are welcome.
  7. so I was wondering, after the Makuta's transformation from flesh to nothing, how would one find out there gender? Do the "females" have a more slender look then the "males". I do know Makutas can change there voice, so that's not part of the question, and they can change there looks, too. Does it all depend on what the Makuta feels more like?
  8. In the Bionicle book, Bionicle Legends 11: The Final Battle, Makuta Krika and Icarax were talking about stopping the Toa Nuva from awaking Mata Nui, which is Makuta Teridax and the Brotherhood of Makuta's evil plan. Both the Makuta also planned that if they succeed doing this, Icarax will take over the Brotherhood as its leader, and Teridax's plan will be failed. First, Krika told one of the Toa Nuva, Gali Nuva, that she should get out of Karda Nui, which is where Mata Nui can be awakened. Then, Icarax was trying to destroy the Codrex, which is also specifically where Mata Nui can be awakened. However, Makuta Gorast noticed this, so she killed both of them to protect Teridax's plan from being foiled. So, as the title says above, are both Krista and Icarax really good guys? I mean, usually, Makuta are always evil, but are Krika and Icarax reformed because they don't want Teridax from taking over the whole Matoran Universe as an evil tyrant, or are they still evil as they just want to take over the brotherhood and then possibly do villainous stuff, like taking over the Matoran Universe, too? Just curious. I noticed that many of you guys think that they became good guys, but, in my opinion, they are still evil because they just want to thwart Teridax, so, as I said, take over the Brotherhood and then do evil stuff, like ruling the Matoran Universe. So, what do you guys think of this?
  9. Well now I've gotten around to taking some photos. This is my makuta self-MOC, Malignus. Shot of his head Comparison with 18 inch ruler Dark outline Another headshot "selfie" Challenging Kopaka Edit: a few more miscellaneous detail shots: NOTE: These are somewhat old. I haven't changed anything major, and I simply haven't gotten around to retaking all those pictures. Changes I've made since taking those pictures are as follows: Those joints connecting the back of the thighs to his back have been flipped inwards. * The black metru legs on his forearms have been flipped around. ** There is a little dark grey piece on the upper torso between the silver tube piece that has been moved further down the axle it is connected to. *** Back of left thigh * Lower back * Left hip (with left "sting" in background) * Lower left wing (prototype antroz wing) Upper left wing Right knee Sword in right hand ** Sword on back Right side of upper torso Right hip * Right leg (again?) 10. Far over, the staff's broken bones Through plot twists deep, to games unknown We must away, ere break of day, To see, what game X holds... It exists only in legends, fables, and the tales of travelers driven insane by their experiences. It exists as nothing more than a phantom, a training ground for one to prove to the others that they are better, more worthy. It can only – will only – should only – exist as a mere figment of imagination, as the wisp of a dream (or a nightmare) resting there, foreboding, at the edge of a mind never to be forgotten. How it ever came to be within these collective minds is a question that will never – can never – should never – be answered. For it to truly exist would be for everything else to truly exist as well, for all of those countless bloody battles to be real, and not just the figment of some madman’s imagination. Hundreds of feet into the air with smoke always blooming from its peak, its rocky, jagged slopes burning eternally and treacherously alluring, a living death trap designed for only the most curious of subjects. Mt. Power. The sound of darkness had erupted over Metru-Nui, and a plague of shadows had slain the Great Spirit. Those unlucky residents within the formerly great city that survived found themselves picked off one by one at night and hung for crimes that never existed during the day. The first death set off a chain reaction of destruction that could never end, and the ever vengeful spirit of Voltex had driven one being in particular to desperation. So far that when Voltex rejoined the realm of the living to reclaim the Staff of Unlimited Power for himself, disaster had struck – Portalfig, possessed by the spirit of Makuta, did nothing to help as a Mysterious Figure, more powerful than Voltex could have imagined, seized control of the Staff for himself. In the battle that followed, the sound of darkness was muted and Voltex defeated, the Staff stolen by a Mysterious Figure as the robot housing Metru-Nui lay splintered and smoking across the deserts of Bara-Magna. Then the Sentinels, heralds of the darkened skies arrived. The Mysterious Figure began picking off the allies of Voltex one by one, with a new Mafia growing in power as they eliminated the village at twice the speed, with each player in the twisted game linked together by the Mysterious Figure. And as the village grew more desperate, the Mafia more powerful, the Sentinels weaker, and the Mysterious Figure more confident, Voltex solved the mystery and revealed the Mysterious Figure for who he was in a magnificent coup, taking back the Staff that was rightfully his. With the Mysterious Figure destroyed, the spirit of Makuta struck back with a vengeance, revealing himself to have been controlling Portalfig all along – and as Makuta wreaked havoc upon the planet, something happened. Voltex, in one final act of desperation, broke the Staff of Unlimited Power completely, drawing everyone into one final conflict. It was the blink of an eye, a flash of light – and then everyone was gone. The Staff of Unlimited Power, misused, stolen and abused for too long, and finally broken, had returned to its home intact, forcefully returning to its pedestal within the firey depths of the mountain. And it took everyone else with it. Now, with the universe on the eve of destruction, it is the darkest dawn. No more Mysterious Figures abusing control, no more Hosts to be stolen from. Just the Desolation of the Staff lying in wait before the assembled players, the fields of ruined structures and memories from games long past awaiting one final entourage of viewers. Beyond the fields lies the true task, the one task that every Host has accomplished in spirit and mind but never in body. It is the one task that, if completed, will truly render one or many most powerful – for better or for worse – and will end it all. To ascend the treacherous peaks, to climb up the avalanches, to contact the chamber – to survive the plunge into a flaming cavern of death, filled with the overpowering radiation of pure energy and power all emanating from one single fractured Staff that repairs itself all the while shaping and re-shaping the path to its pedestal as the ground shifts into traps upon traps around it. After forty-nine games of different members taking control for their own purposes time and time again, despite the wipes of history and the losses of memory continuing the tradition again and again, what was once begun by the legendary Fighty must now end here. This is the first, the third, the tenth, the fiftieth, the final battleground. Not a town, not some village or city, not a ravaged desert wasteland – all are more hospitable locations than this. It is here that everything ends and everything begins, it is here that everything is lost and restored, it is here that everyone is dies and is eternally brought back to life. Here, in this Desolation of the Staff, here on the slopes of the mountain, here in the cavern of legends. Mt. Power. It exists only in legends, fables, and the tales of travelers driven insane by their experiences. It exists as nothing more than a phantom, a training ground for one to prove to the others that they are better, more worthy. It can – will – must – only exist as a mere figment of imagination, as the wisp of a dream (or a nightmare) resting there, foreboding, at the edge of a mind never to be forgotten. Why it ever came to be within these collective minds is a question that can – will – must – be answered. For it does truly exist, and so everything else truly exists as well, all of those countless bloody battles are real (good and bad), and they are not just the figment of some madman’s imagination. Hundreds of feet into the air with smoke always billowing from its peak, its rocky, jagged slopes burning eternally and treacherously alluring, a living death trap designed for only the most desperate of subjects. This is the end. This is the beginning. Rules 1) BZP Rules apply. 2) Roles will have 2 days to PM their respective Host each night. 2 days will be given to vote upon each scene. 3) Anti-Town roles will be chosen by Portalfig; Neutral and Pro-Town roles will be decided by Voltex. 4) One vote change is allowed each day; if changing, you must state who you are changing from. The Roles (Roles old, forgotten, current and new have converged for this fight… some of them more unfortunate than others.) Pro-Town Matoran x18 – The semi-ordinary members of the group; they can vote in the day for the execution. Detective Pyro x1 – Thanks to the energy radiation from the Staff of Unlimited Power, the Detective and Pyro were merged together into one Toa – he can either investigate one player each night, or select a player to kill. Doctor Medic x1 – The Medic managed to avoid reaching the same fate as the Detective; as such, he can still protect one player each round from the Traitors. Turaga x2 – The old Turaga, who were aged rapidly thanks to the effects of the Desolation, both have a vote that counts for double during the executions. As experienced craftsmen, they can also give one of three inventions to a different player in the game each night. Inventions: --Plot Armor (Protection for One Night) --Plot Weapon (One Kill That Night) --Plot Crown (Double Vote at Next Lynching) Anti-Town Mysterious Figure x1 – The leader of the Traitors; he decides who to send each night and who to target. He cannot be lynched until the Ghost and four Traitors are dead, and he cannot be sent to kill until they are dead either. Plague Doctor x1 – A player hired by the Mysterious Figure and modified into a cyborg medic for the Traitors; each night, they can protect one member of the Anti-Town faction from death. If discovered by the Detective, their targets also become marked for death (added to the suspect list or, if sent that night, suspect list shortened). Ghost x1 – Like the regular four Traitors, except that he shows up as a Matoran upon death; after death, he may vote via a certain phrase decided upon with the GM at the beginning of the game. Traitors x4 – Four other Matoran that betrayed the group to join the Mysterious Figure; one is sent each night to do the killing. Neutral Raven x1 – [REDACTED] The Players (Unfortunately, due to the circumstances of arrival, a player list had to be scrounged up. The only one we could find was from a Village that, regrettably, elected Lhikevikk as its Mayor. At this point in time, we are still stuck with this list and have not been able to find any others.) 6) Toarobot18 30) Derpystar7 - Matoran; Lynched, Day 5 19) Xaeraz - Traitor; Lynched, Day 2 1) Punished Snake 22) Pulse 3) Taka Nuvia - Traitor; Killed by Detective Pyro, Night 4 15) Ehks 27) Baltarc - Matoran; Lynched, Day 5 9) Canis Lycaon 25) Burnmad: Toa of Emoticons 20)13.1) Unit#phntk#1 - Matoran; Killed by Traitors, Night 1 17) Toa Onarax 4) ZakarOH! 8) Voxumo 11) Rahkshi Guurahk - Matoran; Killed by Turaga Weapon, Night 6 26) ShadowVezon1 - Matoran; Killed by Turaga Weapon, Night 2 7) MaliceGhost - Medic; Killed by Turaga Weapon, Night 3 12) Valendale - Matoran; Lynched, Day 1 16) Durandal Years 21) Shadowhawk - Traitor; Lynched, Day 4 23) Tyler Durden - Detective Pyro; Killed by Traitors, Night 5 5) Man of Miracles - Matoran; Lynched, Day 2 18) Sinclair - Matoran; Lynched, Day 3 2) Chro - Matoran; Killed by Traitors, Night 4 28) Lloyd: The White Wolf - Turaga; Killed by Traitors, Night 3 14) -JL- 24) Toa Kranan: TOUAB - Traitor; Lynched, Day 3 10) Norik of Gielinor 29) -Toa Lhikevikk- - Raven; Killed by Traitors, Night 2 13) Blade: #XIII.Roxas - Matoran; Lynched, Day 7 Fun fact for you all: aside from replacing Spot 20 with Spot 13.1, this player list is numbered the exact same as Bionicle Mafia 35: Chaos. Spots filled! Roles will be sent out soon-ish?
  11. So here is the not long awaited Skyward Stooge, the first of many prequels in the Dimwit of Time saga. I say that because I wanted to make yet another one that takes place even before this story based on the Skyward Sword Manga. Before anyone reads this... PLEASE READ THE OTHERS STORIES IN THE SERIES. PLEASE REFER TO THE LINKS IN MY SIGNATURE. In the past, people said they were confused over some story elements, and after answering questions, I realized a lot of it was because they read either Twilight Delinquent or The Moron's Mask without reading the other stories. A lot of this stuff builds on itself. After all, would you read Chamber of Secrets and then jump to Order of the Phoenix without reading the books in between? Anyways, here. I've only written 8 chapters as of this post. This one serves as bit of a prologue chapter, so not a whole lot actually happens here aside from getting introduced to the protagonist and a few important characters. This is also probably the shortest chapter of the 8 I've written so far, so sorry for that. With that in mind, I'm going to sparingly post updates while I try to write more. This is a tale you of Matoran kind have passed down through uncounted generations… It tells of a war of unmatched scale and ferocity, the likes of which would never be seen again. One dark, fateful day, the earth cracked wide and malevolent forces rushed forth from the fissure. Led by the evil king of shadows, they mounted a brutal assault upon the surface people, driving the land into despair. They burnt the forests to ash, choked the land's sweet springs, and defeated many without hesitation. They did all this in their lust to take the ultimate power protected by Her Grace, the goddess... who was really undermined by the three golden goddesses who are in turn undermined by the great spirit, but that's another story. The power she guarded was without equal. Handed down by the golden goddesses, this power gave its holder the means to make any desire a reality. Such was the might of the ultimate power that the old ones placed it in the care of Her Grace. To prevent this great power from falling into the hands of the evil swarming the lands, the goddesses gathered up survivors of whom she could not stand for the life of her onto an outcropping of earth. She sent it skyward, beyond the reach of the demonic shadow hordes, beyond even the clouds. With these outcasts safe, the goddess joined forces with the other remaining outcasts that she liked and fought the evil forces, sealing them away. At last, peace was restored to the surface… or so it seemed. The dark king vowed vengeance against the goddess and devised an ultimate plan. In response, the goddess was said to have a plan of her own if in case the evil ever truly did return. Bionicle: Skyward Stooge*That's when the narration is interrupted by a white-gloved hand tearing the page out of a book.*Ghirahim: Hee hee hee… shows that they all know. So they truly think they are safe… well, they're wrong! It won't be too long before my master will take back this world and everything will be as it should have been…*Ghirahim smiled a demented grin, thinking of his master's great, college-educated plan and the important role he played in it. He looked over to a shelf and picked up a black Kanohi mask. It looked like the Kanohi Ignika, the mask of life, but it was something totally different.*Ghirahim: One of the first things I have to do is find some poor soul to wear this mask and become a herald to my master. I just don't know who… Well, whoever it is I pick, I'm sure it will be the right decision! Ha ha ha! I just love me so much!*Ghirahim's laughter could be heard throughout the snowy mountains where his mansion resided, creating an even more bone-chilling feeling to those who could hear it…**Somewhere in a dark forest, there is a great rumbling that causes the area to shake until the earth cleaves in half and a repulsive creature covered in shadow heaves itself upwards, letting out an animalistic roar. Covered in many scales and with hundreds of sharp teeth, it continued to get out from the ground, walking on its two legs. The creature was truly hideous, looking like a cross between a whale, an ostrich, and an earth worm, as it walked and observed its surroundings. It had no arms and no eyes, which only made things more questionable. And where were its ears? Well, nevermind. It let out one final roar before the vision of this creature fades to shadow.**It is a truly beautiful day in Skyloft as a crimson Loftwing and an indigo Loftwing soar through the clouds and the sun was shining brightly. A few people in Skyloft whistled to summon their Loftwings as they jumped off the edge (SUICIDE IS NOT THE ANSWER!) and landed on their birds (well, that's a relief) to fly away. The indigo Loftwing flew away from its crimson counterpart, flying over to a rather large statue of the goddess known as Hylia.**By the statue, a young girl by the name of Nokama was practicing a song on her golden harp. Her practice was cut short when the indigo bird dropped by. The Loftwing was hers. She went over to stroke its beautiful feathers and handed it a note, which it took in its beak and flew away, knowing where to go. Nokama smiled as the bird flew away and turned back to face the statue of the goddess.**Elsewhere, a young man named Lewa was surrounded by darkness wherever he went. He then found himself face to face with the horrible half whale/half earth worm/ half ostrich thing as it roared at him. Scared, Lewa stumbled back. But then a brilliant light shone and the monster roared in anger as it retreated. That's when Lewa heard a voice… an autotuned voice… and no, it's not pop singer Ke$ha.*Female voice: Rise, Lewa. It is time for you to awaken. You are fated to have a hand in a great destiny, and it will soon find you. The time has come for you to awaken…Lewa: Who are you, mysterious woman?Female voice: Lewa…*The voice stopped and the light went away. As the creature roared one more time, it sounded more like a bird crowing. Lewa looked away and ran into an indigo Loftwing. The bird let out a loud screech that threw Lewa out of bed. That's right. It was all a dream! Who saw that one coming? Okay, I'll stop now.*Lewa: Ugh, my head…*Lewa looked around his room and then at the bird peeking its head from his window. The bird stared at him before spitting the letter at him, hitting him in the head. Then the bird quickly retreated and flew away.*Lewa: Now what was that for?*Lewa scratched his head and studied the letter. It was from Nokama. He opened the letter and proceeded to read it.*Letter: "Hey, sleepyhead, I know how much you like to sleep in, so I'm guessing this letter will be your alarm clock this morning. Did I guess right?"Lewa: You got that right. Why can't I sleep-rest some more? Well, it's better than the alarm clock she gave me last Christmas…*Lewa looked over at his cartoonish alarm clock, which looked like a rejected cat-like neopet.*Clock: Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha! Wake up. You are lazy and worthless. Ha ha ha!Letter: "Rise and shine, Lewa! Today's the Wing Ceremony! You promised to meet me before it started, remember?"Lewa: Yeah… considering you wouldn't stop mentioning it to me all last week.Letter: "You better not keep me waiting. Nokama."Lewa, stretching: Well, I better not.*Lewa looked around his room before heading out. His room was one of many within the Knight Academy, where other young people lived. He went downstairs where he noticed one of the top knights at the academy, Jaller.*Jaller: Morning, Lewa. So, today's the Wing Ceremony. Are you ready?Lewa: I was born to wind-soar, Jaller.Jaller: Well, I mean all I'm saying is that everyone is out in the plaza practicing while you seemed so relaxed.Lewa: That's them. This is me we're talking about. Jaller: Of course, that crimson Loftwing of yours is something special, so I'd be confident too. My bird won the last ceremony, but I doubt he'd be a match for that red terror of yours. Then again, a bird's speed in a race always comes down to the skill of the rider. I'm something of a bird researcher here, so if you ever need to know something, you know where to find me.Lewa: Yeah. You're walking outside at night.Jaller, gasps: Who told you?! I mean… uh… Lewa: Catch you later.*Lewa went into the classroom where he went and spoke to Professor Hydraxon.*Hydraxon: Hello, Lewa. It's time to put what you've learned to use. All those practical skills I taught you and all the academic prowess Professor Lessovik taught you!Lewa: Yeah, I got it. *As he exist the classroom, Jaller seems annoyed.*Jaller: I NEED FOOD!Lewa: Hmm… I should check on that.*As Lewa goes to see the lunch lady, he spots Matoro moving some barrels around.*Lewa: Hey, Matoro. What's with the barrels?Matoro: Oh, hey, Lewa. I wanted to go to the Wing Ceremony, but I'm stuck here moving barrels for the lunch lady. She scares me. Could you help me with this?Lewa: Sure thing.*Lewa takes the barrel and delivers it to the lunch lady.*Helryx: About time it got here.Lewa: Is it really necessary to trap-coop Matoro in here just to help you?Helryx: Yes.Lewa: Well, excuse me, princess.*Lewa walks out of the kitchen and waves good-bye to Matoro as he walks out the front door to go to the statue of the goddess. *

  13. Wow, it's been a long time since I've written anything. This is just a quick story I wrote for the latest FFFC. Hope you enjoy: As the Sand Rises... My name is Amahki, and I'm not like other Fa-Matoran. You see, I have a habit of getting lost. You'd think that with our internal compass, that wouldn't happen, but I manage it just fine. It's actually a subject of mockery in my little village. That's why it's so surprising when one day I just felt like I knew where to go. I was in the middle of a delivery of some protodermis to a crafter on the other side of the village when I just felt this... tugging in my gut, like I needed to be somewhere. So, I did what I hoped was logical and ran with it. What I found was an old building that looked like it hadn't been used for decades; definitely not the crafter's home. Still, the tugging remained, drawing me ever closer to the collapsing doorway, though I began to feel an ominous aura emanating from that gaping hole. Inside, barely revealed by the dim light streaking though the holes in the roof was two enormous protoglass bowls connected at the bases by a slender neck. Inside was almost a desert's worth of sand, slowly but surely spilling from the top into the bottom, and the top was nearly empty. "It's called an hourglass." The ancient voice startled me out of my scrutiny, and I dropped the protodermis I still held in my hands. "Oh, I'm sorry," I said as I slowly turned to see a wizened Fa-Turaga limping towards me. "I just felt... like I should be here." His eyes sparkled at this. "You know, this isn't any normal hourglass. Read the inscription around the base." I slowly walked up to the gargantuan stone cylinder set into the ground and saw faded lettering spelling out: As the sand rises, so shall I. As the sand falls, so shall you. "What does it mean?" "Legends passed down to me through generations speak of a dark shadow that once visited this land. It threatened to wipe out our homes, but a single Toa managed to drive it back. Instead of destroying it, he offered the darkness a choice: they could continue fighting until one collapsed and was vanquished, or to show mercy and leave the village. The shadow chose to leave, but created this hourglass to count down its return." "That must have been a brave and powerful Toa." "It was a Toa of Light that drove the shadow back." I gawked at that. "Surely it is only a legend then. No one has seen the Av-Toa for... forever, if they even exist." "Oh, they're real alright. And it is only their power that can drive the shadow back again. Yet, it is you that has been chosen at this time." "But... I can't save us," I stuttered. "You have the wrong person! I just... got lost, as I always do." "What you may call coincidence, I call Destiny. It is your Duty to your people. Only through Unity can you fulfill it." He walked over to the hourglass and leaned against its polished surface. "Over the years, the Matoran have forgotten about this place, but not I. I have watched the sand fall for centuries, waiting for it to have finished its countdown, when the shadow will return to seek its revenge. Then, we will need a hero, a new Toa to defeat the darkness forever. "The sand is nearly gone. It is time to find our hero. And it just so happens that you walked in at just this very moment." I just froze. I could tell he depended on me, not just because of this "destiny," but because I was the only one here. I looked up to meet his eyes, just catching a glimpse of the last of the sand slowly pouring into the bottom. Sparks danced along my armor as the very air wavered and became electrified. The hourglass vibrated and shattered with an earsplitting crack, spilling an ocean of sand as the dim room began to brighten. As suddenly as it began, the strange effects ended, only now a tall being stood in the midst of the spilled sand. Darkness seemed to emanate from him where light had been before. His deep red eyes seemed to radiate power and authority. It could only be a Makuta of old. It was about this time that I managed to dig my way out of the sand and began brushing myself off to see the new arrival. I froze as his gaze seemed to penetrate me. I felt something smooth and hard slip into my hand from under the sand. I only had a chance to look down and see a glimmering stone when light filled my vision and I felt... changed. My body was lengthening, I began to feel power I didn't know I had, and my mind was filled with the buzz of an activating Kanohi. I looked down to see my new form as a Toa. And not just any Toa, but a Toa of Light. "Impossible," the Makuta bellowed. "You are a Fa-Matoran!" I laughed, enjoying my newfound power. "Well, then this won't hurt a bit." As I quickly grasped the new element at my disposal, I realized how much sense this all made. I was always different, and now, they would all see. I will save my village, for a new Toa of Light had risen today.
  14. It's implied in Bionicle that light is supposed to be painful for beings of shadow. But how bad is it? If I aimed a searchlight at some antidermis in a dark room (perhaps a Makuta whose inner light was drained), would that actually damage the antidermis? Or cause pain for the Makuta? Or not? It's just a light beam, right? Could Takanuva actually kill/hurt the Makuta with his light powers? Or is the contrast purely poetic? What do you think?
  15. I'm going to try and revive this topic to the best of my ability. With that said... I'm most likely going to edit out the cross-over episodes with TSO's Ridiculous Mission. Sadly, I won't be able to bring that back, since the second part of the trilogy was deleted, thus making a hole in the series. So, here is the first episode unedited and left as it was since the day I first wrote it. Now then, I'm going to keep all the first GS and PGS characters, but due to the harassment I got back in the day I won't be accepting new ones, so don't ask me. Now onto the comedy.Well ,here it is. I've always been wanting to feature Makuta Teridax in his own show instead of having him as a guest character on Ask Roodaka and Vezon Tv. First, some short descriptions of the characters.Teridax: Bold, arrogant, lazy leader of the Brotherhood of MakutaIcarax: A smash-a-holic, a lover of torture, and secret Cascada addict.Mutran: The world's dumbest smart guy.Gorast: An angry Makuta with a crush on Teridax and pure hatred of Mutran and almost everything else.Krika: A Makuta who's always got something wrong with him.Bitil: A depressed Makuta who doesn't do too much of anything.Antroz: Bossy and selfish creep.Chirox: Bumbling scientist.Atheron: Intelligent and cautious.Norenka: Dim and not all that careful.Vamprah: The never-speaking Makuta that speaks only through emoticons.Episode 1: Bionicle All-Stars Melee*somewhere on the island of Destral…*Teridax: Okay, so I’m going to take role now to make sure everyone is here. Antroz?Antroz: Yeah.Teridax: Chirox?Chirox: I’m here.Teridax: Bitil?Bitil: I’m bored.Teridax: Gorast.Gorast: I hate all of you… but not you, my lord… Teridax: Yeah, whatever. Mutran?Mutran: Right here.Teridax: Of course you are… (to himself) you psychotic nutcase. (aloud) Krika?Krika, flying around: I’m a fairy princess!!!Teridax: Let me guess, he got some of that virus on him again?Antroz: Yup, and he thinks he’s some fairy.Chirox: I just wish he’d keep quiet. Hey, tinkerbell! Let’s chit-chat!Krika: I’m a pretty girl!!Teridax: If play time is over, let me continue!! Atheron, Norenka, Icarax?Norenka: Here.Atheron: Same here.Icarax: I’m here, boss.Teridax: Vamprah?Vamprah: Teridax: Okay, we’re all here. Now let us get to business. Any old business?Mutran: I still can’t find the remote! No one’s helping me look!Gorast: Be quiet, you Chirox rip-off! Mutran: Don’t insult me! I’m not the one that looks like a Visorak on steroids! *Gorast starts attacking him.*Gorast: Say that one more time! Just say that again. I love comments on by beauty!Mutran: You’re a supped-up Visorak… *Gorast knocks him out cold.* Gorast: That’ll teach you, you green and black head ache.Teridax: Thank you for that, Gorast. He was getting on my nerves. Can we continue?Bitil: Krika’s getting on my last nerve. We need to do something about him.Chirox: Food for my Rahi. Just feed him to my Rahi.Teridax: No, we can’t do that. That’ll make one less Makuta on the Brotherhood. There’s only 11 of us here. There’ll be less if we get rid of him.Icarax: How about we torture him?!Teridax: Good idea! But how do we do that?Icarax: I dunno. I can beat him up! Or… I can lock him up and then beat him up! No, wait! Dress him like a little girl, then I lock him up, and then I beat him up! Or better yet, I’ll dress him up like a little girl, then I lock him up, and then I beat him up at a Cascada concert and hope no one calls the cops!Chirox: I like the last one.Vamprah: Norenka: So do I. Go do that one, Icarax!Gorast: I’m also for it. (thinking) Oh, why can’t Icarax take me with him?!Atheron: By why one of her concerts?Icarax: Because.Teridax: Okay, fine, Icarax, go do your thing. Icarax: Yay! I get to see Natalie perform live! Um, I mean, I get to beat something up! Gorast, come with me. Um… I might need some help beating the Antidermis out of this weirdo! *he grabs Krika and run out the door.*Gorast: *she gleefully runs out the door to join him.*Vamprah: Teridax: Okay, that was weird. Anything else?Bitil: Should we worry about those Toa Nuva guys and that Takanuva creep?Teridax: Nah, I don’t think so. People stopped caring about them years ago.Norenka: But… no, they haven’t.Teridax: Silence! Atheron: Stop yelling at her!Teridax: Stop yelling at me!Norenka + Atheron: Stop yelling at us!Teridax: I said silence!Chirox: Yeah, but seriously, those guys are annoying. We should do something about them. Teridax: Yeah, we could do something about them, but I’m just too lazy to. Just have Icarax do something about them. I can just have him beat them up while letting him listen to Cascada. That’ll keep him busy for hours. It’ll also keep him from prank calling me 30 times a day. *Umbrella ringtone.*Atheron: Your phone’s ringing.Teridax: Yes, I know, but it might be Icarax.Norenka: What if it isn’t? It could be Roodaka…Teridax: I’m answering the phone! *answers phone.* Hello? What do you mean I look like a rusted piece of scrap metal? No, I don’t want a happy meal! Icarax, get off the phone!Icarax, on phone: How do you know it’s me?Teridax: I can recognize your voice, Gorast is cheering in the back ground, and I can recognize Natalie Horler’s voice anywhere. Icarax: Um… oh, no! *smashes his phone.*Teridax: *sighs.* Why do I have to work with so many moronic Makuta. Why, Mata Nui?Mata Nui’s voice: Because I don’t like you.Teridax: Hey, you’re supposed to be asleep! *loud snoring.* That’s better.
  16. "And out of Nothing, you came. And it is into Nothing that you will go". I remember how scary Makuta looked the first time I saw him, at the end of the MNOG, when I was a child. His speech, the words he used... and then BAM, those tubes and the vortex made of pieces of other Toas (even if technically it's not canon), and Mangaia was so claustrophobic, and that music...When I made this drawing I wanted to represent, more than Makuta himself, the impression I got the first time I saw him. [Click the thumbnail] I wanted him to look somehow disturbing, everything around the mask had to be chaotical and swirling while the Hau itself should remind some kind of idol. The point of view is the one of a Toa, so you see him from the bottom upwards (Google Translate don't fail me). The original music should complete it quite well This isn't exactly "my style", it was some kind of experiment. It was fun to draw though (colouring was a little less fun; I can upload the blank version if asked). Hope you like it, and in some way scares you. Feel free to leave a comment, tell me what you think
  17. So I was thinking about Rahi and the Matoran Universe, and how they're a part of the MU's artificial ecosystem. And then I thought about how Matoran are really important for Mata Nui's health, and so the GBs/Mata Nui would surely want them to be working smoothly and without much bother. Of course, if they die, or are damaged, there are systems to solve that (Red Star, Karzahni), but ideally they shouldn't really be needed much. So I was just wondering, why did the Makuta make such nasty Rahi that would more than occasionally attack Matoran/sentient species? I'm not talking about Teridax on the island of Mata Nui, since the Makuta were already "evil" by that point, and Rahi like Visorak which were basically mass production weapons for the Brotherhood. I mean when the Makuta were new, not considered evil, given the job of making animals that would help (my theory now) maintain some kind of "Protodermis Cycle" (sort of comparable to the carbon/nitrogen cycles on Earth). Did they then also think "Hey, let's make these Rahi prone to attacking the workers who do the important stuff that needs higher sentient intelligence to do in our synthetic ecosystem, because that will surely help too". Were Rahi always meant to be aggressive to Sent. Species? Sure it was never a huge problem, there wasn't really ever a significant loss of life (I wonder if the Kanohi Dragon/Tahtorak/First Rahi may have been exceptions) but surely dangerous Rahi could only have been bad for sent. species? So yeah, why did the pre-evil Makuta make Rahi that would kill Matoran?
  18. Hello, I am Makuta Trydeltix, the Makuta assigned to watch over and protect the southern region, the island Occidus. Occidus is a very secluded location in the Matoran Universe, and it is in its most southern point. It is an oddity in the universe, as it is home to an abundance of tropical flora. It is a beautiful place. An island paradise. The Matoran of Occidus, a combination of Ta, Bo, De, Su, and Vo Matoran, always liked to keep to themselves, and I found myself wanting to do the same. What more could we need? We had everything we could ever want on Occidus. There was no need to communicate with the rest of the universe. After tens of thousands of years with no contact with any beings outside our home, most of the inhabitants of our universe have forgotten about the island's very existence, and myself along with it. I had no friends in the Brotherhood of Makuta, since I found most of them to have simply toxic personalities. They too, eventually forgot about me. With all my connections to the outer world severed, I had the opportunity to break away from the Brotherhood after Teridax's revolt against the Great Spirit Mata Nui unnoticed. To ensure that they would never find me, I destroyed all their records of mine or Occidus' existence. I was finally free from the tyrannical leadership of Teridax, and free to lead my people in peace and harmony. I never thought Teridax would succeed in his plans to wrest power away from Mata Nui, but in the end, shadows prevailed, and Teridax fulfilled his evil plan. The Great Cataclysm struck Occidus hard, and many lives were lost, and cities destroyed. I survived, though, and pledged to lead my people through the darkness and hardships ahead. We rebuilt our tropical island back into the paradise it once was, and we continued to thrive. We watched our Universe die, and be saved by a great and noble heroes, and we watched lived through its final destruction, and the long overdue death of Teridax. In a mass exodus of the universe we had lived in for as long as we could remember, we emerged onto a place more beautiful than we ever could have imagined, and even though we had never seen it before, it was immediately our new home. The three was once more one, and Mata Nui had blessed the reformed world with beauty and hospitality. Against all odds, my people and I had slipped away from the darkness, and we would be ever thankful to the Great Spirit for that. With a final goodbye and look back upon our old home, its corpse sprawled out on the land behind, we embraced our new home and our new life on the world of Spherus Magna.
  19. So, I recently read the final comic that Bionicle published, and I noticed something. Why did Teridax just beat Mata Nui around when he could have hit him with a giant bolt of Chain Lightning? Why couldn't he have used laser beams the size of mountains coming out of his eyes to vaporize MN's head? (Ys, I am aware that Teridax did use gravity to bring the other pieces of SM back, but why did he stop there?)
  20. A few months back, I decided to revamp Teridax from the Melding Alt. Universe. I used a torso design similar to the one I used on Sir Vamprah. Not long after his completion, I felt it would be perfect to revamp our Teridax that we all know and love. Light Teridax took about three hours to fully construct, and Shadow Teridax took over 4 hours. And so, without further ado... "In this corner, standing 12 inches tall and weighing in at around 2 pounds, from the Melding Alternate Universe, we have Teridax!" Front Back Legs Hammer Time! Gallery "And in this corner, from our own Prime Universe, we have... Teridax?" (Credit to Jacks for his Matoran design) "You have GOT to be kidding me." "You expected something else?" "Something like THIS?" Oh, yeah. I forgot he could do that. Front Back Close-up Pose Another Pose Gallery Face-off! Showdown "Teridax makes the first strike!" "Teridax makes a counter attack! Ouch, right in the chest!" "What a kick! That's gotta hurt!" "Teridax has... Teridax by the throat!" "They seem to be too evenly matched. Well played, Teridax...Both of you...." Gallery Well, there you have it. I consider these two to be my best BBCs yet, especially Shadowdax. Comments and criticism are most welcome! Thanks for looking!
  21. Isn't Adaptation technically the most powerful Makuta power? I always figured that it could adapt to any experience that the particular Makuta had, giving him more resistances/advantages against the enemy. Of course, I am kind of confused about how it's used. Do they have to keep focused to adapt, or what?
  22. This is my Self-MOC, Makuta Sardrox! One of the Toa spotted the Makuta and wildly activated his Zatth, but unluckily for all involved, the nearest Rahi were a large troop of Visorak, which the summoning Toa could not control. The Toa were all killed by the Visorak, but Rurmuax was stunned before he could use any of his powers, and subsequently captured. He was mutated and unable to shapeshift, and although he did retain many of his original powers, they were greatly limited. Additionally, Rurmuax's sanity degraded quite rapidly. He was last known to be aimlessly roaming the Southern Islands. This is, in my opinion, one of my best MOCs. Feedback is most certainly appreciated.

    Shadow Destiny

Shadow Destiny PrologueShadow. It's what we all fear. It seems to consume things. Everywhere deep down inside us all, It seems to lurk, only coming out in your worst moments. Of course, I view it differently. Shadow to me is power. Even as a Le-Matoran after the fall of Makuta I realized that shadow is a part of life. Of course, at that time I was living in an encampment outside of the fallen robot that housed the Matoran Universe, but that didn't mean I was stupid. But where did things happen? How did I become this legendary being I am today? Well it all began with a simple Ga-Matoran by the name of Jetus... Chapter 1It all started one day when Jetus decided that she and I make a name for ourselves "Think about it Krill!" she said "The others could make statues in our name! We could be the heroes we deserve to be! I'm tired of sitting here, existing for no reason. I'm sick of it! SICK OF IT!" "Your head is full-filled with all this sand..." I muttered back. But the idea never went away. After all, Jetus was one of my best friends, and she helped me whenever she could. Some would go as far as to say we had a romantic relationship together, but I would quickly deny it. She was brilliant, headstrong, and had a sense of humor. Of course, being a nature loving Ga-Matoran, she would also teach me about rahi. Of course I had little to offer her in return. But one night, we got the chance to make her dream, our dream, come true. The menacing Dark Hunters had re-organized on Sepherus Magna, and had attacked the camp we were staying in. "This is it!" I said to her "This could be our break! We could be hero-saviors!" She dismissed me "We can't take them on. It was misguided of me to think that we can be heroes... I'm sorry Krill" I stormed off, determined to take them down myself. I traveled for days trying to find the strong hold, when finally a pair of hunters led me to it. It was a simple structure, but also very complex. I snuck in undetected by the guards because of my small stature, and made my way to their leader, the Shadowed One. My plan was to assassinate him and proclaim myself a hero to all. Of course, things never go according to plan. I snuck up behind the ancient being's throne, and almost stabbed him. One of the hunter's in the room noticed, and with lightning speed, pinned me to the wall. "Hey, master, we've got a live one!" he smiled as he threw me on the floor in front of the leader of the Dark Hunters. "And just who are you?" he laughed. Of course, coming out of him it sounded like two stones grinding together. “I am Krill, salesman of Le-Metru, ever-hero of Spherus Magnus, and soon to be the killer of the famed Shadowed One,” I said valiantly. Everyone in the room laughed. No one took me seriously. Once they got done making fun of me, the Shadowed One said, “So, you wish to kill me? Ah, Matoran are so misguided these days.” He motioned to a Skrall looking warrior brandishing a strange weapon. “Meet Salus, he’s going to test out his new weapon on you.” Salus smiled. He loved to hear the screams of his enemies, especially Matoran. He aimed the staff at me, and fired. I knew I was a dead matoan. When the beam hit, I felt excruciating pain, but then also power. My whole way of thinking changed in an instant. Why kill them when I can side with them I thought to my self I could become the most famous Dark Hunter ever! Maybe even take over the organization! I grew taller, and the knife and small thornax launcher in my had were transforming. When it was all said and done, I looked down at myself, and a new being stood there. I had jet black armor, a broadsword, and a mysterious looking launcher. I peered around the room. Everyone was in shock. I knew I had to make a statement if I wanted to join the clan. I walked over to the man who shot me, took the staff, and snapped it in half. I then let my rage an anger take over, grabbing him by the throat and stabbing him in the chest with my sword. He fell, to the ground, dead. “On second though, I may just join you.” I said. The Shadowed One replied, “There is a vacancy.” Chapter 2I was able to get a good look at myself before I had to do mock combat with other hunters. From my hands sprouted claws which I could flip open to use, and flip back to store. I also had a midnight-steel blue broadsword, well I guess you could say it was a scimitar, but to me it was a broad sword. In my other hand I held a strange launcher, of which I had no idea what it did. I readied myself as the doors to the chamber they put me in opened. I was in an arena filled with sand. A balcony stood on the far side, with the Shadowed One eyeing me intently. He whispered to a hunter next to him, and at his word the hunter took off. I stood there, looking around at the bleachers that surrounded me. They were mostly empty, except for a couple of board looking Dark Hunters. Well this is exciting... I thought to myself in disappointment. As if on cue, a door opened and a being lumbered out. He was huge, with massive claws and a sturdy body. It seemed you could beat his body for millennia and not make a scratch on it. Let's hope I'm wrong. I said as I charged at him. I did a perfect flip and used my sword to slash his backside. Nothing. The figure turned. "Not nice" he said, before flinging me across the arena. Ok new plan. I looked down at my launcher. Here goes nothing! I pulled the trigger and with a loud pop!, a mass of darkness flew out and hit the being in the shoulder. At first it did nothing, but as I started cursing, the being hollered out in pain. His shoulder was leaving him. Wait, leaving him? I couldn't believe my eyes. His shoulder was slowly dissolving into nothingness, being torn apart. That's when I remembered something that the Ko-Matoran Kopeke had told me about on Metru Nui. "I believe that the entire universe is being slowly ripped apart by a substance that I would like to call dark matter. This dark matter drives the atoms inside of the universe apart, thus expanding it," he told me. I thought him a fool but the device that I now held in my hand harnessed such energy. I smiled as the lumbering being passed out, and was dragged away, most of his amour on his right arm dissolved. That's when I felt it. Pain. I fell to the ground and pulled a dagger out of my back. My eyes widened with shock. "You've proven you can defeat someone with strength, but what about agility. Get up rahi-bones, time for a lesson." said a female voice from behind me. Lariska I said to myself. I had heard legends about Lariska, master of daggers. About how she almost got Toa Nidhiki to give Metru Nui to the Hunters. Another knife whizzed past. I used shadow energy to blind her, then hit her with a shadow blast from behind. She fell to the ground, only to get back up and throw 2 more daggers. I dodged the first, but the second hit me right in the mask. I would use this to my advantage. I fell to the ground, and acted unconscious. Lariska laughed and began to walk away. That was when I sprang up and put my sword around her throat. "I remember hearing something about you giving another hunter advice... What was it? Ah, yes. Never turn your back on your enemy until you know they are dead, and don't turn your back on a dark hunter until their amour is ground into dust." The shadowed one clapped slowly. "You have proven yourself, young one. A spot in our order awaits you." Two guards came and took me away, and I realized how great would I have it in this order... Chapter 3The guards led me to a chamber, with a small table in it. A small matoran stood at the table, tinkering with something. "Ah, you have arrived! Come come, sit sit. There is much to do you know." I sat on the table. "Who are you?" I asked. "The new recruits always have questions. Always." he mumbled to himself, "I am Tako, Onu-Matoran and all around tinkerer for the Dark Hunters. Now, let’s talk implants. I have everything you want! Of course we need to put this tracking device in first,” He said, stabbing me with a needle. “There we go! Now let me see, you want Cybernetics? swords? Horns? ‘Cmon, give me something to work with.” The matoran was talking so fast I could barley keep up. “Um.... uh,” “Um, uh, what? Tell me something I want facts not just you sitting there!” I’ve always wanted to fly.... “A jetpack.” I said after a while “Oh and some amour to cover my shoulders.” The matoran looked delighted “A jetpack! ah I’ve always wanted to test this out!” he said, running over to his drawers full of items. “let’s see here....no..... what is that? Eh, I’ll think of something to use it for.....Jethro..... jet thrower.....Ah! here it is! Jetpack!” He pulled out a tiny black machine, about the size of my hand. “Let me just attach this to your mask and that will be all.” “My mask?” I said, confused. “Ah yes, I designed so that when you move your head, you can move the jetpack! Ingenious right!” I thought quite the contrary. “Yeah..... Ingenious.” He beckoned for me to lean over, and ever so carefully put on the jetpack to the back of my mask. “I must say, marvelous mask! Let me see what it is..” My mask. I hadn’t studied it. It wasn’t really a full mask, it was more like the Kanohi Vahi, and only covered the lower part of my face with a spine leading the my back (which was were the jetpack was placed). “Ah here it is!” exclaimed Tako. “Kanohi Kahdren.... The mask of enslavement. Fascinating!” The matoran could barely contain his excitement. “can you take it off for just a moment so I can...” “No,” I said sternly. “I can’t do that” “fine...” the matoran said disappointed. I was then escorted to my dormitory, where I would stay as a Dark Hunter. As I walked in, a figure resembling a skrall was lifting weights. He had the normal skrall build, except with a different helmet, one that only let his eyes show through and conformed to his head, which was laced with red, and sleeker amour. “Who are you?” he said, noticing me and standing up. “I am... Uh...” I was divided on weather to tell him my real name. “Nah, I’m just teasing ya! Of course I know you! You’re the one that everyone is talking about, who defeated Lariska and Prototype! Bearer of Darkness! Of course, we all call you bearer.” Bearer I thought I could get used to that. “You know my name,” I replied “what is yours?” “Stealerack,” he said. “Of course call me by my codename, Thief.” “Well, Thief, I guess we will be roommates.” “I guess so.” After that conversation, we stood in awkward silence, only penetrated by the occasional question and people rushing by. Around mid-day an agent came in and beckoned us to follow him. Along the way I asked thief, "Do you know why he just took us?""Ah, yes, we are going on a mission!" Chapter 4We walked down the hallway to the outskirts of the fortress. There awaited a vehicle for each of us. The being guiding us gave us both tablets detailing our mission. They were clear and concise. I was to walk into a bar in New Valcanus, a city ruled by the fire tribe, and inquire to a water agori named Utuk about the location of the blueprints for a new weapon. Once we knew the location, I would relay them to Thief, who would steal them. As I walked into the bar I was afraid I would fail. But then I saw the agori in there, so small and harmless, I realized I would do this mission with no regret, or mercy. I walked over to the bar and tested out my mask. “Get me a drink,” I commanded. “For free? Ask somewhere else,” the bartender then went back to his work. “I said get me a drink,” This time I focused hard. the bartender looked me in the eye and was entranced. He gave me a drink. “Do not notice what I am about to do,” I said quietly. “do not notice what I am about to do...” he repeated in a soft tone, then went back to work, with a blank expression. I walked over to the both where Utuk was sitting. He was there with three friends, and they were drinking and laughing. “Utuk, tell me the location of the blueprints,” I said outright. Utuk looked confused, and a little scared. “Why should we do as you say?! ” said a drunken fire agori. “Yeah, after all you are a toa!” said a Jungle villager. “Don’t insult toa...” a water matoran said nearby in another booth. “Last chance, give me the location or I will make you give me the location.” The other drunken agaori at the both, this one an ice agori. “Hey, tough guy! Why don’t you beat it!” all the agori in the booth (except Utuk) laughed. “Then you have forced my hand,” I responded coldly. I then threw the water agori out of the booth. The other agori got up to fight, but before they could do so I drew my sword, swung it into the booth. There were four thumps as their heads hit the ground, and their bodies slumped in the booth. Everyone in the bar turned, except for the enslaved bartender, to look. If they want a show I'll give it to them. Utuk tried to make a break to the exit. I used shadow to bond him and he fell short. I walked over and picked him up. “I’ll ask you again, and unless you want to end up like your friends I suggest you tell me: Where are the blueprints?” “I’ll never tell your kind!” he screamed. squirming as I held him against the wall. “Do you really think that is wise?” I sheathed my sword and put the agori down. I pulled out my dark matter blaster. “Do you know what dark matter is?” I asked “It is a peculiar substance, driving our universe apart. This gun harnesses that energy and dissolve an agori in a matter of seconds. The question remains: which of your friends will face it’s destruction?” I then held the agori to the wall with my free hand, and scanned the room with the other. “Please no!” he cried “No more!” I scanned the room until I got to the water matoran who had said to respect toa. Utuk and her eyes met. It felt like Jetus and I’s relation ship. “NO STOP!!” he pleaded. “We have a winner,” I replied. The matoran made her escape towards the door, and she almost made it, until the dark matter hit her. Before she could even scream, a hiss dissolved her into nothingness. I loved the sound of a dissolved matoran. “NO!!!” the agori cried. “Tell me where the blueprints are,” I said, seizing the opportunity. “Tujan... THEY’RE IN TUJAN! In a house near the gate, under the desk,” the distraught agori yelled. “I’m done with this conversation,” I said, dropping the agori. As I walked out, I sensed his sadness turn to anger, and heard a sword begin drawn. In vain he yelled and tried to stab me. I was much to quick. Sparks flew as my blade met his, and passed thought it. Interesting, the only thing in the universe that could do that is protosteel, this must be made of a high grade quality, I thought. The agori wheeled as I kicked him in the chest. I picked up the stunned being and pinned him against the wall. “How dare you attack a dark hunter.” Utuk whimpered, then screamed in pain as my sword cut him in half. most of the agori had left the bar by now, but the rest watched in horror. The bartender still didn’t notice. “You are evil!” the water agori yelled, on his deathbed, “All you’re ever going to is spread it! Your more distasteful than Thornax soup! And you will be more hated then...” Crunch. I had grown tired of his talking, and ended his life by grinding his head beneath my foot. I began to walk away. Agori and matoran alike looked at me in shock. “Nothing to see here,” I said, casually walking away. Chapter 5I gave Thief the location of the hiding place and then proceeded to watch him steal it. He did it so expertly, that I barley even noticed he had gone into the building when he stood right next to me, with the blueprints in hand. “Easiest mission ever,” he remarked walking back to our vehicles. Easy for you to say... I muttered. When I got back the Shadowed One had heard of my encounter at the bar, and commended me. “Five agori and 1 matoran dead? I’m impressed. Your reputation grows, and in New Valcanus, people fear you,” he said “enjoy that luxury.” One of his assistance then handed us a scroll with the infor on our next mission. It wasn’t as simple as before: I had to, with the help of my partner Thief, go to Tujan again and assassinate a glatorian who had escaped the base’s prison. It seemed simple, but this glatiorian, named Levosock, had quite a reputation. He was kicked out of the arena for decapitating his opponents with cruelty. "I think we can handle a rowdy fighter," said thief. I wish I had his confidence. The road there was harsh, straight through zesk territory. More than once we had to fend ourselves off from the creatures' attacks. The two of us then arrived at the gates of Tujan. We quietly strode into the city, and no one noticed us. "He is hiding in a hut on the far side. How should we proceed?" I asked my partner. "There are so many ways. We could stage an accident, that always works. Or we could assassinate him from afar. Or just straight up murder him," He said. Thief was a master strategist, after all he was one of the elite Skrall Assassins, so it was in his training. We bickered over ideas, and decided on acting like we were in distress and killing him in his home. The two of us proceeded to his house. It was a small stone hut, it looked unimpressive, and the perfect place for a fugitive criminal to hide. Thief knocked on the door. Levosock cracked opened the door and regarded us coldly. "My friend and I are in need of some supplies," I said, trying to sound distressed as I could. "could you lend us some of your goods?" Thief shot me an angered look, he thought that what I had said was a huge red flag, and not to mention just plain stupid and unbelievable. Noticing this, I used my mask to control a tiny portion of his mind to do my bidding. A merciful person would have just used the mask to make him kill himself, but where is the fun in that? Try as I might to control him, his mind was shielded somehow. "Hunters.." Levosock said in a low voice, and then dashed inside. "Great job Bearer, you blew our cover!" quipped my partner. We rushed in after him. The glatorian made for a small window in the back, picking up his weapons before he left. We hurriedly followed him out. I expected him to go to the desert and find a cave to hide in, but he ran towards the middle of town. I followed in the streets, Thief jumped from rooftop to rooftop. Showoff... I thought to myself. When the Skrall assassin started to outrun the warrior, he jumped down into the street, and cut him off. Levosock stopped just before Thief's blade could hit him. The glatorian was caught in the middle, so he did the logical thing to do and fought. He lunged at me with amazing speed, staff in hand. When he tried to bring the large weapon down on me, I parried it with my own sword. Since my broadsword is made out of super-hard protosteel, it cut through his weapon like butter. I then kicked him in the stomach. Thief was about to strike the man down, but I held my hand up to stop him. Useing my dark matter launcher, I concentrated it to the smallest amout and fired. The shot went up one of his nostrils, and hopefully into his brain cavity. “You have seconds to live, I suggest you speak,” I said, after all, I like to know why I kill people. “Tell me why you were imprisoned, and why we had to kill you.” The matter was expanding his head and the pressure was rising. “Ok ok! I’ll talk,” he said, wallowing on the ground. “I was imprisoned because I sold a Skrall dark hunter a valuable stone given to me by the ancients.” he said. “You mean the great beings?” Asked Thief, obviously intrigued. “Yes, they entrusted me with it during the core wars, along with six others like it. He called them toa stones. Anyways, I hated those stones. They mocked me. They corrupted me. The dark green stone forced me to kill them!” “What green stone? Kill who?” I asked.“The green toa stone, the one I sold. As for who died, it was the glatorian. When you and your friends arived on this planet, a being, who described herself as Helryx, wanted the stones, for safekeeping she said.”“But you couldn’t let them go for free,” said Thief, smiling and nodding approvingly. “Of course not,” the glatorian snapped, “I am no fool! I ran away from her, to here. When you learned I had the stones...” “You were imprisoned, escaped, and we were sent to kill you,” I said, “It all makes sense now. The Skrall used the stone to make the weapon, a weapon that transformed toa powers into dark powers.... a weapon that turned me into a toa. They wanted that Skrall dead because he was a fool!”Levosock barely could nod, as he was in so much pain and agony. He screamed, and we sat there and watched him. He began to convulse, as the pressure was getting to his nerves. While this was going on, some of the local agori had contacted the local muscle: the Tujan Guard. The glatorain Tarix was with them, to see the cause of the comotion. He was shocked to discover us two and the dieing Glatorian. One of the best fighters of Tujan watched one of his own die horribly. Around the time the guard came, it was almost over. The pressure on his head was too much, soon causing it to fracture. And with that Levosock, guardian of the toa stones, was dead. Tarix witnessed this and was deeply angered. Little did we know at the time, that Tarix had been mentored in the art of fighting long ago by Levosock, and was not happy about his death. “NO!” he yelled, using his twin blades as boomerangs. Thief quickly deflected them, as the guard moved in from both sides. “You take Tarix I can handle the guard,” I told him, and he nodded and lunged at the glatorian. The guard moved in closer, believing they could overwhelm me. Agori... overwhelm me?! That’s crazy talk. I quickly used up much of my shadow energy to create chains of shadow to bound the agoris’ necks. the chocked and quickly passed out. Meanwhile Tarix and Thief were locked in combat. Thief was beating Tarix when Tarix leapt to a balcony and saw my carnage. Filled with rage, he foolishly threw both of his blades at me. They knocked the weapons out of my hands. “Oh really? You challenge me to fisticuffs?” I said, unfurling my claws. I jetpacked up to the balcony, and dug my claws into his shoulders. As he screamed in pain I flew higher and slammed him on the ground. He tried to get up once more, but a punch to the face by Thief assured he stayed down. I landed and walked over to him. Tarix was trying to crawl over on his chest to get his weapons. I landed on him, turned him over, and holding him with one hand, ripped him apart with a series of scratches and punches. My claws ripped through his amour like fruit, and severely damaged the tissue underneath.. With no guard to help him, he was defenseless. The final straw was when I used both my claws to rip open his chest plate. He released a sound from his lips that I hope I never again hear a glatorian, or anyone for that matter, make. Satisfied, Thief and I proceeded to exit the city. Tarix shouted at us, “Why don’t you finish me! Please! Have mercy on me!”I looked over my shoulder and replied “Dark Hunter’s rule of thumb, always leave one witness.” Chapter 6The ride back was quite smooth, and I had quite a lot of time to think. I began wondering about the agori and the matoran civilizations. It had been told that they were having trouble bonding. I was wondering about what would happen if full out war was put amongst them. But then another thought came to me. Levosock had said there were six toa stones So there must be five more toa other than me I thought. Toa that I can hunt and kill for my enjoyment. I smiled. Being evil is just too much fun. When we got back to the base Thief confronted me. "Clearly we need to work on your improvisation," he scolded me, "that back there, could have gotten us killed! You have to act naturally, and not just rely on your powers." I shrugged him off. Who need some old skrall to boss you around? Many more missions went by, all more dangerous then the rest. (Don't ask me about the one with the Scorpio and the Thornax fruit) After one particular mission, I went into the Shadowed One's chamber, and he did not look happy. "Ah, Bearer," he said, "I heard about the tribe of Zesk, and I must commend you on it. But we have a problem. Apparently five toa have killed some of my most valuable operatives, and even have dared to steal from some of my caravans." "So you want me to kill them? Seems simple enough," I replied"No, I want you to do more than kill them. I want you to kill them slowly. Do what you did in Tujan. But I think you can take them on alone."Alone?! I thought Is he insane."Piece of cake," I said. And with that, I went off to meet the toa magna for the first time.Their camp was desolate. It was in the middle of nowhere, why they were there, was a mystery to me. It was a well known trade route, and was often used by the hunters to transport materials and agents from place to place. I waited until nightfall to make my move. As I drew closer to the location I overheard them talking around a fire."I'm just saying, Muyia that there is a sixth member of our team," the white armored one said, I deduced he was a toa of ice. The green-blue toa of plant life named 'Muyia' responded "So what we have five, that doesn't make us incomplete!""I'm just saying Levosock said there were six stones and he sold one" I shivered at the mention of Levosock So this is the toa team I was meant to be with.A blue toa of water stood up. "Maybe it's Krill!"I had heard that voice before... but it couldn't be"Jetus,” I said to myself. She had become a toa!All five turned and found me crouched there.I cursed. “So is this the famous krill we have been hearing about sister?” asked the black toa of earth.“I don’t know, he was a Le-Matoran, and toa of air are not black,” she looked at me quizzically.“Am I krill? both yes and no. The old Krill is dead. The dark hunter Bearer is not.”“I knew it,” said Muyia, “I knew they had transformed him all along, and now, we must kill him!” Jetus stoped him, “No! it is not the toa way, we do not kill, we must help him.”“I dont know about you, but I love to kill,” I replied, and I threw a blast of shadow at them, and dove away from blasts of ice, earth, heat, water, and plants. But by the time the darkness cleared I was gone.“Stay together, he is around here somewhere,” Said the toa of ice. They circled around the campfire, looking through the dunes to try to spot me. But they wouldn’t. I had a plan B, and they were falling for it. I got in my Thoratus, and sped over the dunes and rammed into the five toa. As I turned around for another sweep, the toa of ice produced a slick that made my vehicle skid and fall over, trampling the toa of earth in the process. As I got up, Muyia stood in my way. He grabbed me in the throat. “Where do you think you’re going?” he asked. He dropped me, then he powered up his spear and blasted me with elemental power. At first it didn’t do anything, but then I began to feel pain. Then I realized what he was doing. He was turning all my cells into plant cells! I was about to react, when I realized I couldn’t move my arms or anything. Then the pain came. Imagine, you dove into a pool of lava. Now multiply that pain times thirty. That is what this felt like. For the first time ever, I screamed. Chapter 7I awoke in a tent, the next day, and felt very weak. Apparently I had passed out, but when I did Jetus hit Muyia and disrupted him from completing his full effect. She was now sitting at my side, caring to me. She also informed me that the rest of the team had voted to bind me, and also remove my mask and weapons. “But I’m glad to see you alive, so what happened with you and the dark hunters?” she asked. I then told her my story of triumph, and she was appalled. “Why... Why would you do such things?!” Before I could answer, Muyia interupted. "He does it because he is a crazed murderer, and he should be treated like one, sister." I shot a look at him. "Might I suggest we head out soon," said the toa of ice, who I now knew was named Jusaray, "It's going to be dark soon and I would hate to delay.""Wait, why are we leaving, I thought you wanted to sit here and ambush more caravans," I said, my voice full of annoyance and disgust. Muyia laughed, "No, now that we have you, we must complete our destiny: To unite the Matoran and Agori as they should be.""Well look who just jumped on the chute, Mr.kill-him-he's-a-murderer," Jetus shot back. Muyia ignored her."Besides," I said, "How do we know our destiny is to unite the matoran?" Jusaray responded with the weirdest response ever, "Well, according to Levosock, the great spirits who gave him the stones said that 'those who posses the stone, shall unite many, but also destroy all'. This means a couple of things. Firstly that we will unite the matoran and the agori. Secondly one of us *cough* you *cough* *cough* will betray us all and get many people killed.”“A simple ‘Levosock told us so' would have sufficed.....”“So, where do we go first?” Jetus asked“ We should go to toa Umata,” We all turned to look at Turarja, the toa of earth, and Gusta, the toa of fire, who had just entered the tent.“Shut up about Umata, Turarja!” Snapped Muyia.“Hey, he can say whatever he wants!” yelled JetusMuyia got in her face. “Clearly you don’t see who is in charge here.”“Well who made you leader?”“The great spirit of mata nui!”“Yeah right, and just yesterday I had some madu fruit with Artahka.”“Are you mocking me?!”“Yes, yes I am.” “I do not accept this in MY toa team!”“YOUR toa team? Last time I checked I was in the toa magna. You go run your team into the ground but I‘m staying here”“THAT’S IT!!” Muyia lost it, and punched Jetus in the face. While they were talking, I had managed to cut my bonds. When the toa of plant life attacked Jetus, I grabbed my mask, put it on, and lunged at Muyia. I unfurled my claws. “This is for Jetus!” I said, cutting through his back amour plating. He cried out and fell to his knees. “And this is for trying to turn me into shrub!” I hit him in the side of the head, and knocked him out cold. “Now I say that we hear more about this so called toa Umata.”Turarja, obviously frightened, quickly said, “He was a toa who moved to the planet after our universe was destroyed, also he also is a master of prophecy, and weapon making. PLEASE DON’T HURT ME!” I laughed at that last comment.“And according to my calculations,” Jusaray butted in, “Umata is approximately 100 bios to the northwest. I suggest we start heading there now, and see how he can help us.” "How will he help us exactly? I mean, what's he gonna do? Magically unite the matoran and agori?" said Jetus"Well, he's a toa of iron, and a former Nynrah ghost," we all turned to Gusta now. He was a quiet type, and it was weird that he knew this, and even weirder that he talked about it. A toa of iron, Yes he will be most useful.... I thought. "Alright, so We'll set out imeadiatly" I anounced, and as we slowly traveled down the road into the black spike mountains, a plan formulated in my head.... Chapter 8"So, what are all your masks and their powers?" I asked, trying to make small talk but also trying to formulate strategy about how to destroy each toa. ""Elda, detection," Said Jetus"Kulaka, absorption," replied Turarja"Jusak, Intelligence," Jusaray bragged, "Although it is peculiar that it is placed on the back of my head rather than on the front, so it's more of a headdress.""Yuta, fusion," mumbled Gusta."huh, that's why its fused to your face! Well, old team-captain over here has Kualsi, the mask of quick travel," laughed Jetus. Muyia was still unconcious and was being carried on a makeshift gurney."What about you, what's your mask and power?" asked Turaja."Mine?" I replied, "Kahdren, mask of enslavement." After that, an awkward silence fell over the group. We walked all day, then camped at night. Muyia woke up the second day of the journey, and began trying to take lead. After 3 days, we had made it to his fortress. Turaja was VERY excited. "I can't wait to show him my robotic arm!" He said, voice quavering with enthusiasm."Wait, you only have one arm? How did you loose the other?" I asked."Simple!" Said Jusaray, "He never had one in the first place." Turaja nodded in approval. As we aproached the front door, I felt like I was being watched. Of course, number one fan knocked on the door himself. A huge, lumbering brute advanced towards him. He gasped. "This must be one of his guard drones! Um... drone, take us to your master!" The "drone" laughed. "Master? Toa Umata has no master!" Turaja looked dejected. "So, what brings a band of toa to my neck of the woods?" "We seek guidance with our destiny of uniteing the agori and matoran!" replied Muyia."Very well, follow me."His weapon shop and living quarters were both ugly and amazing. He had pieces of machinery and equipment like no other. "So your a Nynrah ghost?" I asked. "Formerly, I went into hiding after Tumaru died.""I take it this Tumaru was a friend?""More than a friend, we were part of a two being toa team, she and I. She was a toa of lighing, and I of course of iron. After the Makuta killed off most of the ghosts, we started hunting them. Untill they set a trap for us... She was killed and I was maimed..." "I'm sorry for your loss," Said Turaja, "by the way, how did you get all this equipment from within the MU?""Well," he said, "I mined it out and made the equipment, also order some of it from Vortixx, and began making weapons. Actually, I didn't realize it at the time, but it was mining right through the MU's outer shell!" They both laughed at that. "So where is your mask? I don't see you wearing any?" Asked Jetus"Ah, well, I incorporated it into my armor, along with a complex computer system, and many other masks and tokens." Turaja butted in, "Hey, Umata, could you explain something to me? My quiet friend Gusta here once decided to dip his hand in energized protodermis, and now his hand is all silver and he has weird powers, can you explain this," Gusta glared at Turaja furiously. "Well, he must just be destined to have it, after all it didn't burn off like it normally should," Almost as an act of revenge, Gusta blurted out "Well...well can you explain why when Turarja became a toa he absorbed some of Muyia's powers!" Muyia looked intently at Turarja. Faintly, his amour looked blue and green. "Ah, must have been destiny. Now you two beings are intertwined, what happens to one, will effect the other." Muyia smiled "Look at that brother, we're intertwined!" "Yeah, like two madu fruit on a branch," Turarja grumbled. I grew annoyed at their friendly banter and began to walk a way, when something, or someone I should say, caught my eye. I walked over to a dark part of the building, where Umata apparently made parts. Then I saw the figure. "Loyal! What are you doing here. " I whispered angrily. Now, for those of you who don't know, Loyal was a Skakdi warrior and when the MU was destroyed, he migrated to Spherus Magna. He then got involved in the glatorian system, and was the first non-bara magnan being ever to be in the arena. In one fierce fight, he got his arm and leg cut off. His opponent was banished, and he was crippled. The Shadowed One took him into his own hands and turned Loyal into his replacement for his right hand man Ancient. He put a device in his brain to transmit anythign he saw or heard directly to the Shadowed One. The Shadowed one could also use his body as kind of a surveillance drone, he could take it over and control it. On top of that, he carried an old Bohderahk staff of loyalty. In all, you didn't want to be on an assignment with Loyal."Oh Just getting info," he said calmly."You idiot! You could get us both exposed!""For what? You betraying the Hunters for some toa team!? The Shadowed one is most unhappy with the current events you are taking place in." "Listen, Shadowed One, I know you are watching, I have a plan. A plan that I need you in on. Tell at least 10, no 100 hunters to meet at the Iron graveyard. I'll figure it out from there."Loyal sighed, "I expected so much more out of you, but very well, I must be on my way." He jumped up the the ceiling, using the rafters to find his way out."Krill, did you hear? Umata is coming with us!" said Jetus, "Isn't this exciting! The two of us, on a journey, together again at last!" I looked at here with contempt in my eyes and walked away. It's a shame I have to kill her I said She could prove useful to the Hunters. Chapter 9Misery. That was the only way to describe traveling down the road. Between Muyia's trying to take lead, Umata's and Turaja's talk about inventions, Jusaray's coldness, Jetus's blind excitement, and Gusta's silence, it was horrible. I was so close to victory over them but yet so far away. As I led the group towards the valley, I told them that we were going to meet up with some of the glatorian at new valcanus. All of them grumbled, as this was a very long journey, but in truth it would be shorter (Iron Graveyard is about 1/4 of the way to the city). Around half way through the "journey of doom", I realized someone was watching us. At first, I thought it was Loyal, but then I realized Loyal didn’t have wings.... or a giant axe. I stopped dead in my tracks. “What’s wrong, brother?” asked Jetus. “He’s just trying to stall, keep going!” Muyia heckled. “No you idiot! We’re being followed!” I yelled. At that moment the figure charged and hit the ground in front of us. We all drew our weapons. “Relax, I’m friendly,” said the being. He appeared to be a drone of some sort, and spoke in a robotic way. It also appeared that his arm was replaced. “Who are you?” Muyia said. “I am Beliu, a member of the Order of Mata Nui and a friend.” Beliu responded. At the name ‘Order of Mata Nui’ I shuddered. They stood for everything we did not. “And what if you’re lying to us, that’s a probability,” said Jusaray. “You dare mess with a makuta?” he responded. Before anyone could react, Umata had charged Beliu and tackled him to the ground. As he beat Beliu, a green mist began to flow out of the cracks in his amour. The makuta screamed. And trust me, you don’t want to know what that sounds like. When we finally pried Umata off of Beliu, the makuta was in bad shape. “That was for my friends, that was for Tumaru!” He yelled. “No.... you don’t understand....” Beliu said weakly. “I’m a Miserx makuta.... I sided with him when Teridax took over.... When my body evolved I faked my own death, I took refuge in a fire drone..... The Order took notice and enlisted me to spy on you....” “Spy on me?” Umata questioned, “I can see though your bluff Beliu, because NO ONE spys on me, and K-67 was definitely not possessed!” “At your service master,” Beliu said, in a voice that resembled a fire drone’s. Umata looked shocked that he knew this. “Your arm,” he said, noticing his left arm, “You.... built the weapon!?” he said in amazement. As it turns out, on Beliu’s left arm was a sonic weapon, utilizing a Kohrak-kal shield. Umata fell to the ground. “What have I done!” he yelled.“Yeah, yeah, yeah..... Drama, Drama, Drama...... Could you please fix me Umata?” said Beliu impatiently, as the green gas started to dissipate. Using his powers over iron, Umata formed his body back into one, and the cloud went back inside. “Thank you, I was starting to worry!” Beliu sighed with relief.“So, he made the sonic weapon? I thought you said that was impossible, Umata” Tararja questioned.“I figured out the quirk,” Beliu responded, “You had to add two more wires to the cooling system so it didn’t over load.”“OOOOOHHHHHH!” the two inventors said. “Well, even though it’s kind of weird that I just found one of my only ‘friends’ ever was also one of my mortal enemies, I think I can forgive 67,” sighed Umata. “So are we going to continue or just stay here and chat?” I said impatiently.“Why do you want to get to New Valcanus so quickly?” Jusaray asked. I had to think quick. “Because.... because one of the sellers at their market had some ancient tablets that could contain more prophecy to tell us how unite the matoran and agori.” They bought it and we continued on. Chapter 10“I’ll go scout ahead, you guys stay here!” I said as we approached the graveyard. It was about a day after we met Beliu, and I was eager to Annihilate the others. True to the Shadowed One’s word, 100 dark hunters were there. Loyal was leading them, along with theif. “So, what’s the plan?” thief asked“Ok, I lead them into the graveyard, you surrond it and kill them, simple?” I saidLoyal looked uneasy, “Easier said then done, a toa of fire, a toa of light, and a water glatorian are here.” Heh, looks like I’ll take out two birds with one stone, I thought to myself. “Kill them too, it makes no difference!” I said, “Now hide, and when I draw my sword, come out,” I saidI bounded back to the group. “Looks like we have company, two toa and a glatorian up ahead.” I reported. The group was excited, as these were the first people they had seen since Beliu. We marched into the graveyard, and the three travelers looked at us quizzicly.“What are you doing here?” the toa of light asked. “Just passing through,” Muyia said.“I don’t believe we have met, allow me to introduce myself: I’m Tahu, this is Takanuva, and that is Kiina.” the toa of fire said. We exchanged pleasantries. “So what brings you here?” Jusaray asked. “Kiina was just telling us about this grave site.” Said Takanuva.“Of course, it was an iron tribe village untill they were wiped out by the dreaming plague. Of course, we now know that it really wasn’t a plague, but still it was deadly.” Jusaray babbled. I grew anxious. Knowing that I was so close to destroying my biggest threats I almost couldn’t wait. As they continued talking, I slowly backed away, and when I was far enough, drew my sword. When they heard it drawn, all the hunters rose up out of hiding and took aim at the group. “What the!?” Kiina yelled. The group was stunned. “I told you we shouldn’t have brought him along, it’s all your fault1 Jetus!” Muyia said franticly.“We’ll have time for blaming later, now we fight!” quipped Tahu.“Would you all just shut up already!” I said, obviously annoyed, “look, I’ll make this simple: you can accept your fate, or you can try to fight it. If you run, you will die. If you stay, you will die.”“So, if we do anything we will die?” asked Umata.“That’s the idea,” I replied “Now charge!”And thus began, one of the biggest battles in all of Spherus Magna’s history... Chapter 11In all honesty, what happened next, is blurred in my mind. The Dark Hunters stormed in at my command, and proceeded to attack the group in a multitude of ways. Loyal took on Tahu, and I took on Kiina." I knew you were the one who attacked Tarix! I knew it!" She yelled, blasting me with water. I dodged her attack and sliced at her with my sword. She parried it with her trident, which was an amazingly strong weapon, and tried to shoot me with her thornax launcher. I ducked under it, flipped over her, and stabbed her with the small dagger on the but of my blade. She screamed in pain, and fell to the ground. Not quite dead, but very close to it. I then used my jetpack to survey the battle field, and I was not happily surprised. The toa were beating back my hunters. I noticed loyal move in to attack Beliu. He sneered at him, and tried to attack him with his mind control vision and his staff of loyalty. Being a makuta, they were in effective against him. Suddenly, Beliu fell to the ground. Loyal laughed for a while, and then a look of sheer agony cave over his face. He dropped his weapons and yelled for mercy. At that moment, I realized what had happened. Beliu had left his body, and since Loyal's mind is mostly mechanic, manifested in his brain and started to drive him insane. His replacement arm and leg began to twitch. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore. He reached for his staff, and painstakingly, shoved it into his chest, effectively killing himself. It was gruesome to watch. It was a bitter sweet moment when I watched that dark green gas go back into the drone body. Meanwhile, Thief had taken no notice of what had happened to loyal, and was brutally assaulting Tahu, who used his mask of shielding to block, then tried to slow him down with balls of flame. He eventually got tired, and Thief went in for the kill. He hit him in the shoulder with one of his throwing knives, and disarmed him by stabbing his arm with a wrist mounted blade. Tahu throbbed in pain, and punched thief in the face. He stumbled back as Tahu grabbed his sword, and fell back to Takanuva. I then turned my attention on Muyia. Although he probably wasn't the biggest (or brightest) of threats, he was a real thorn in my side. It's time I had that thorn removed I said to myself. I landed on the ground, and threw a shadow blast at him, and went in for the kill. I shot dark matter at him and tried to slash him with my sword. He blocked with his shield, and launched his elemental powers at me. I countered with my own. "You idiot! You were supposed to help us!" he yelled "You were the sixth member! You betrayed us!" Now, I don't mind a fool, but a naive fool? I despise them. I replied, "You idiot! I was never on your side!" and launched more dark matter at him. It hit his armor, and he crumpled as it dissipated. After that I heard Jetus yell, "NOW!!" And an explosion of light hit me. It felt as if my armor was being ripped off, and reassembled again. I would have screamed, but I couldn't. It was my worst nightmare, even worse then the time I dreamed that a Muaka ate me, then spit me out, then ate me again five times. All I could see was light. After that, I went unconscious..... Epilogue"Bearer!? Are you ok?!" Those were the first words I heard after I woke up. Thief shook me awake. "What happened?" I asked him. "Takanuva hit you with a blast of light, you look different, but no time to waste, the hunters are retreating. We've lost this one, let's get out of here." As I got up, I felt different. My body looked green, and I felt like I could fly. As thief helped me hobble off, Muyia crept in from behind. "Look out!" Shouted thief, but it was too late. In a fit of anger, Muyia had tried to stab me, but Thief shielded me, and took the brunt of the blow. I watched as Muyia's spear impaled itself into my friend. "NO!" yelled Tahu, running over to assist me in trying to assist me in reviving thief. "It's not the toa way brother!" We tried and tried and tried, but it didn't work. Thief was dead. Anger arose in me. I lashed out at Muyia with my launcher, only to find that instead of firing dark matter, all it fired was air. "What in the Spirit-Great is this!" I yelled. At that moment, I clamped my mouth shut. Along with my transformation back into a toa of air, I had also reverted back to tree-speech. Yeah. "I just got back from contacting Hylryx. She said she wants to take Krill in for questioning about the Hunters' activities.""Well, can we just ask him ourselves?" asked Jetus."No, she wants to do an official investigation into the attack, and his motives." he replied, and immediately they bound me, and started to transport to the base. Of course, when events as such listed happen, anger grows. When anger and time come together, they form planning. Planning turns into scheming, scheming into doing. And of course, while I was incarcerated and waiting to be interrogated and released, I had all those things happen. Looking back, it was a simple plan, and I am very proud of it. I will show them, I said to myself, They think they know war? I will give them war BEYOND imagination.... Anyone who finds this must already know what that plan is, so no need to waste my time here. Anyways, the plan will be completed in good time. All in good time.....
  25. BATTLE OF BROTHERS One thing that I want to address before you read this story is that this is not a fully-written story in the sense of a story you may normally read from sources like a book, but a detailed explanation of how the story would have been written if it were fully fleshed out into a complete story. Also, this story only focuses on Mata Nui and his battle against Teridax. It does not go into detail on the battles that were waged inside of Teridax. With that being said and done, I hope you enjoy my version of how I wanted the story to end. I accept all forms of criticism and will ingore any hateful or flame responses. Essentially, the tribes would contribute to help bring together the parts of the prototype robot. In that time, Mata Nui would come to help and train the Glatorian in their newfound elemental powers and tell them of his own history, where he comes from, what he used to be and what happened to him. Initally, he would tell them that although as pwerful as he could be with the Ignika, he can't face the battle that lies ahead and that he fears that Teridax will come looking for him and what he may do to everyone if he fails. He asks that even though they had not known each other very long, that it would mean a great deal if they were willing to help Mata nui in his journey. The Glatoran would come to accept Mata Nui's offer, stating that nobody should have to suffer what Teridax is capable of. A few months would pass as Mata Nui learns to control the Prototype robot (and instead of transferring his consciousness into the body, he would pilot it like a robot like those seen in Pacific Rim), though in the beginning, they would be having trouble finding the necessary amount of power it would take to re-activate the robot. A flash of inspiration comes to Mata Nui as he walks close to the robot's hand and declares "Unity!". The Robot would come to life, running on it's own provided energy. When it comes time to leave Bara Magna, all the Glatoran and Agori would be inside the robot as Mata Nui makes final preparations. Kiina would walk in and talk to Mata Nui about him fulfilling his promise and that although she may sort-of miss the home she has known for many of her lifetime, she is very excited at the prospect of a new world to visit. Mata Nui would confront her that this is no ordinary trip to someplace new, but a battle that she may not come back from and asks if she is really sure she wants to come along. Kiina replies with a salute and replies "To Karzahni and back, I'll follow you. We all will follow you". Mata Nui smiles back and Kiina leaves. Mata Nui would exclaim "Duty!" as the Robot activates it's flight system and leaves Bara Magna, heading towards Aqua Magna where Teridax is still occupied with everyone inside Mata Nui's original body. They would arrive in a surprse attack on Teridax by catching him off-guard by hitting him in the head. Teridax would stagger but straighten up and turn to look at the opposer by stating "You dare attack me with such a weak attempt of an attack!". Mata Nui would reply back that it is comparable to Teridax's cowardiness and his lust for power, referring to the recent take-over of his original body. Teridax would come to the realization that the other robot is Mata Nui and questions him on how the Karzahni he is back here. Mata Nui would rush at Teridax and tackle him, causing them both to fall towards the ground. Doing this, Mata Nui would transmit all of the Glatorian into the Matoran Universe, while leaving the Agori to stay inside and help keep running the prototype robot. Teridax would punch mata Nui off of him and the two would engage in an epic battle with both utilizing the available powers that both of them have. In the end, both would be heavily damaged, though Mata Nui slightly more than Teridax. Teridax would tower over Mata Nui, who is kneeling in exhaustion. Teridax would exclaim that "At last, my brother kneels to the one true being who deserves this power" and that although he put up a good fight, it is time Mata Nui accepted his true destiny. Something deep snaps and awakens inside of Mata Nui. As Teridax pulls for the final blow, Mata Nui's eyes begin to brighten. Teridax throws the punch but Mata Nui catches it effortlessly and crushes the hand, sending onto Teridax a great pain. Mata Nui would question where all this power would be coming from but soon after senses where the power is coming from and who it is from, which happens to be coming from all the inhabitants of the Mata Nui robot who deny Teridax as their ruler. Mata Nui would be greeatly inspired and stands up, revilatized with energy as the Ignika he is wearing also glows with an intense brightness. Teridax would exclaim that something like this is impossible and runs at Mata Nui. Mata Nui would charge his right fist with all the power of the Prototype Robot, the Ignika and donated to him by the Matoran Universe. He pulls back his fist and shouts with all his might "Destiny!" as he punches right through Teridax's stomach and sends energy into the robot. This energy overloads Teridax, who loses control over the Robot and his essence es destroyed down to every atom, finally ending his life. The original Mata Nui robot begins cracking up as pure light seeps through all the opening of the Robot as it explodes in a mighty explosion so great that the shockwaves were felt throughout all the planets of the once great Spherus Magna. As the battle has finally ended, Mata Nui is glad that it's finally over before he collapses in exhaustion and loses conciousness. Mata Nui would then wake up an unknown specified amount of time later in a room he does not recognize. He would get up, looking around as he questions where he is before locking his gaze upon a door that leads outside. Mata Nui would open this door, his eyes blocked by sunlight before hearing and seeing every Matoran Universe inhabitant who opposed Teridax cheering for Mata Nui. Ackar, Kiina and Gresh would come up to Mata Nui and say that he's done it, that he's ended the reign of Teridax once and for all. Mata Nui would questioned what happened afterwards, to which Ackar replies that after the battle, they went to retrieve Mata Nui, who was unconcsious but very much alive. Mata Nui then gazes out upon the cheering crowd and thinks. He finally comes to a decision and asks for silence from the crowd. He adresses a speech, saying that he does not want to be seen as a God, nor does he want to be seen as a Hero. All that he wants is to be accepted... accepted as one of them and nothing more and that although Teridax may be gone, they still have new challenges ahead that will face them and he asks for their cooperation one more time, in the hope that together, they can build a new world, one where everybody is accepted, a world which will not be exploitable to those of great power, but a world which runs itself with it's inhabitants. He knows this is a great task and would not force such a great task upon anyone. He asks who will join him in this new quest, this new Unity, Duty... and Destiny. One person would start clapping, which is joined by more and more until everyone is clapping. Mata Nui is filled with joy at all those who will be helping rebuild for the future of a better world. Mata Nui would then ask if Toa Tahu would please come up to him. Tahu would approach, slighty nervous and Mata Nui would hold out his hand for a fistbump. Tahu would recipricate the fistbump, saying "It's a honour to meet you." while Mata Nui would hold out his hand for a handshake, which Tahu accepts. Mata Nui would then say "No, the honour is mine".The end. Author Notes 1. In my opinion, Teridax's original death by smashing his head was lackluster. In this version, I wanted to spice it up a bit and give it more of a "final" feel to getting red of the big bad of Bionicle. 2. If you are wondering why Mata Nui doesn't try to reason with Teridax, I have put Mata Nui as one being fed-up with Teridax. If written properly, I may have gone into detail on Mata Nui's final choice. 3. In this explanation, the prototype robot needs to be in contact with something to teleport individuals inside of it unlike it's successor, where it can teleport things inside of it without physical contact. 4. Okay, the part where the inhabitants of the MU "donate their energy" to Mata Nui seems a bit farfetched, but in a world as large and rich in fiction like Bionicle, I personally don;t see anything wrong with it. 5. If you are wondering how everyone survived the final blow dealt to Teridax, Mata Nui transported everyone inside of Teridax to inside of himself to keep them safe from the after-effects. Note 3 explains this teleportation method. 6. Tahu being nervuous, while may seem a bit out of character, would be understanable in a situation like that. It's Mata Nui after all, the being that they have been fighting for and to save his life. 7. I never liked Mata Nui just going into hibernation in the end of the original story, which is why I have him stick around in this version of the ending.
