Meiko
I think that if they made a more unique game, similar to some BIONICLE games. I'd especially like to see one for a console or handheld system (Wii, XBox 360, PS3, DS, PSP, etc.). Meiko
I wonder if there will be any Hero Factory tie-in with LEGO Universe. Probably not, because Hero Factory isn't really SYSTEM-based, but who knows. I have noticed however that Hero Recon Team custom heroes' images are hosted in the LEGO Universe website domain. Here's this for an example of what I'm talking about (Check out the URL). Zidonaro
Hm... I Think that if it was done in the way the Legend of Mata Nui would have been made, it would be awesome. Except that there´s no each characters levels, since they don´t have to collect masks and anything, it would be one bye one. Oh, and a canon one please. Protodite Karzahni
A first person shooter wiith chest high walls every five steps, regenerating health (The amount of damage you've taken is relative to the amount of jam on your screen), everything has a brown filter and each character swears like a sailor in every bit of dialogue. ...Okay, that's the money making idea over, now to the actual good idea. I'm thinking a Sandbox RPG might be a good idea, in third person. Maybe an over-the-shoulder camera angle would work, like in Bionicle Heroes. My idea is you customise your own hero and you go around Makuhero City accepting quests to fight minor villains, whilst going through the main story. (Which hopefully might even make Nebula look like a threat.) Quote I wrote stories once. They were okay.
kalhiki
I'd love to see a Bionicle Heroes type game. There could be zones for each wave (Mission Von Nebula, Ordeal of Fire, etc). So, take Mission Von Nebula for example; there would be a level specific for each villain in that line and the boss would be one of VN's henchmen (one level would get Corroder as a boss, another level has Thunder, etc). Same goes for the other waves of HF.And if they really wanted to be cool, they could add multiplayer where you can create a villain or Hero to play as and fight with other players. Toa of Nerds
I'm thinking more of a third-person cover-based shooter, similar to Gears of War (but this is Lego, so maybe Gears of War isn't a good comparison ). Gorag
If they were going to make a HERO Factory game for 4.0, they'd probably make it a first-person shooter. What I would like however, is the option to switch between cameras like Super Mario 64. I guess that each world you'd play as a different character, and after you beat the world, you unlock the ability to play any world with that character. Either that or you unlock the said ability at the end of the game. What would the minions look like? You couldn't just make the game a boss fight, could you? I'd say the game would probably be available on the systems LEGO Star Wars is on.

BULiK
what really would be nice would be something like the original exo-force '06 online shooter game, where you just click and fire at enemies before they get too close.because smaller kids that HF is age range, wasd controls are very hard. There are little kids who will play Hero Factory games. I don't think a first-person shooter game would be the best idea for LEGO to do. While the age-range is younger than that of Bionicle, let us not forget that Bionicle Heroes was basically an FPS, just from over-the-shoulder view. However, I'd like a more adventure style game, something with shooting, and in either first person or over-the-should view (preferably with the option to switch between the two.) However, I'd like it somewhat adventure based, with more emphasis on the spy part, using different strategies and awesome gadgets ala Splinter Cell and others of Tom Clancy's games. Of course, platforming elements would be nice too, since I'm a big fan of those. Perhaps a platformer with different spy elements and shooting. Honestly, since there are usually six different heroes, having a genre-roulette like Sonic Adventure would be interesting, but less so, with each character having different abilities and movesets while still having the same basic platforming gameplay. That echos my exact sentiment. I think Lego needs to break from the tried and true formula, and I think Hero Factory offers them that opportunity. Just like Bionicle before it, Hero factory is different from the traditional system line (both in terms of building style and in storyline) and I think a different sort of game such as an FPS or cover-based third person shooter would work out. -don't touch my pocket protector Quote Three great comedies at one low, low price....NOTHING! avak3
I think if they did a 3 person over the shoulder game style in the vein of the game batman arkham city, take it's game style, through in some FPS gameplay, and a soild multyplayer(team death macth, a suvilal mode and cooptertive story mode, and a setting to make the game diffrent for the diffrent gamers( a E10+ mode and a T for teen mode), you get the coolist lego game to date! The thing is LEGO must put a good effert in to it, soild graphics, a good game develper and not over kiddie this game. It needs to feel like War for Cybertron did a game first, commercial second. Thunder on the Mountain
Have any of you seen advertisements for that Avengers game that was supposed to tie into the movie but got cancelled? The general gist of it was that it was a first person action game, not a shooter, just an action game that took place in first person. It was pretty awesome, and when I think of a Hero Factory game, that's generally what I'd picture. An over-the-shoulder third person like Bionicle Heroes would work too, but again, not a shooter like Bionicle Heroes. Hand to Hand combat, shooting, jumping, flying, flips, all sorts of different moves, spread out across a big variety of planets with different scenery, forcing the player into different forms of game play. I could love a game like that set in HF.
