  1. I was recently looking at my Toa Metru Canisters, and I remembered that some Toa Metru canister lids had glitter and some did not have glitter. Does anyone know why this is?
  2. I'm offering at least $50 to anyone who can retrieve this promotional CD for me: As far as I am aware, it was an exclusive giveaway on the "Power Lies Beneath" van tour in the US during the summer of 2002. There are reports of it on BZP here and here, as well as here on Mask of Destiny (with Mark being the only person I know to own a copy; unfortunately, he will not sell or trade it). The article for it on BS01 is also very detailed, so whoever wrote it undoubtedly had a copy at some point. This CD is the only CD I am missing in order to have a full set of 35 promotional BIONICLE CDs, available to the general public in various media all over the world from 2001 through 2007. I can go so far as to say it will be the only full collection of such CDs, but I don't think anyone really likes the pathos. Either way, it's been four years since I've been actively collecting these and I have never been closer than I am now. I'm willing to bet at least a few dozen BZPers have this CD stacked in an old box somewhere. So start digging and let's make each other's day!
  3. Hi, guys! I know that Bionicle had ended a year ago sadly, but let’s be happy about Bionicle for something else. You see, this year, 2017, is the 15th anniversary of Bionicle’s 2002 storyline. I know that this year that we got the music album for the movie, Bionicle: Mask of Light’s 14th anniversary, but if you think this isn’t enough for this year, then let’s celebrate the 15th anniversary of the 2002 storyline. That would enlighten you more. Let me tell you the 2002 storyline: The 2002 storyline is about the Toa Mata fighting against a new menace that Makuta Teridax awakened, which are chicken-like creatures called the Bohrok, who want to destroy the island of Mata Nui and enslave its people with their mask-like “brains” called the Krana. The Krana are both the Bohrok’s strength and weakness, so the Toa have to collect lots of their Krana in order to defeat them while a Matoran named Nuparu invented mechs called Boxors to fight the Bohrok. After the Toa did, they find the Bohrok’s nest, where they discover mechs called Exo-Toa. They use the mechs to fight against the Bohrok’s twin queens called the Bahrag in order to end the threat. However, the Toa learn that using their elemental powers is their only hope, so they combined their powers to imprison the Bahrag. Then, the Toa touch Energized Protdermis, which transform them into stronger versions of themselves called the Toa Nuva. The Bohrok are defeated. To celebrate, let me ask you this: What are your fond memories about the storyline and/or what do you like about it? For me, I like the Bohrok. They look cool, and it’s very cool that they work like an army, can turn into balls, and can attack people using their heads, like a chicken pecking, and launch their Krana to mind-control their victims. The Bohrok are the villain counterparts of the Toa Mata because of their elemental powers (well, except for Levahk because it has Acid powers while Lewa has Air powers, but both are green. Lol. ). It’s neat that the Bohrok have those Turaga-like creatures called the Bohrok Va to assist them. The Va too can launch Krana and has Bohrok shields for heads. The Boxor is quite impressive because it has hook-like hands that can punch Bohrok, similar to Iron Man from Marvel using his Hulkbuster armor to fight and defeat the Hulk. The Exo-Toa are awesome because they are mechs that can be used by the Toa, and the Toa could use them to fight the Bahrag. The Bahrag are epic because they look like giant versions of the Bohrok, and when they attack people with their heads, they can try to eat them, similar to the Muaka and Kane-Ra from the 2001 storyline. The Toa Nuva look very cool. They are like Super Sonic from Sonic the Hedgehog, but the transformation is permanent. I like their silver armor. Makes them look stylish. I love their weapons because of the designs and the Toa can use them with two functions, one for fighting and one for transportation (it’s what the Toa Masters from Bionicle’s 2015 storyline had). Their masks look like that they just came out of a mutating goo, which I find cool as well. Next, the combo models. The Bohrok and Bohrok Va Kaita are cool, but the Bohrok Kaita’s legs look kind of hollow, and they have stubby arms. The Toa Nuva Kaita are awesome as well, but the one with Lewa, Kopaka, and Gali looks weirds because of how the instructions build him. I mean, he looks like a strange-looking hunchback. The alternate models are alright. It’s cool that Boxor can be rebuilt as a big steed. The Bahrag look mighty cool and terrifying as a giant spider-like creature, but they look very weird, and I don’t think that the mouth-chomping function is stable because there is so much stuff in there. The Boxor’s alternate form is alright, but it looks a little weird because it has awfully-long arms pointing downwards. As for the story and media, I think the story is very good, and the comics and Bohrok Online Animations are great. I like the part where Onua encourages Lewa to remove the Krana from his face (the second time Onua saved Lewa from being mind-controlled. The first being Lewa being controlled by an Infected Kanohi.). The Toa Mata going scavenger hunting for Krana is a neat quest, though I wish we could’ve seen more of it, like see in each and every Toa Mata collecting all of his/her Krana before regrouping at the Bohrok Nest. It’s interesting that the Krana are like organic counterparts to Kanohi. It’s awesome that the Toa Mata and the Matoran used mechs to fight the Bohrok and their queens. It’s also cool that the queens have all of the Bohrok’s powers and extra ones. It’s awesome to see the Toa combing their powers to imprison the queens to end the threat and then get transformed into the Toa Nuva. For the Bohrok Animations, I thought they’re good. It’s neat to see what the Matoran are during the Toa’s adventures. It’s where we see Hewkii and Macku “secretly have a crush with each other”, and I find that cute and funny (even though that Greg Farshtey made love non-canon). I also like the part where Takua went to confront the Bohrok while trying to protect the Matoran. I like that the animations used the animation style from the Mata Nui Online Game, though that I wish that there’s a similar game for the storyline. So, guys, what are your fond memories of the storyline, what do you like about it, what’s your favorite 2002 set, favorite character(s) in 2002, favorite moment in the storyline, what things remind you of the 2002 storyline, and/or how would you celebrate it? For me, well, my favorite sets are the Bohrok, Exo-Toa, Bahrag, Tahu Nuva, Lewa Nuva, Kopaka Nuva, and Onua Nuva, and my favorite characters are Tahu, Lewa, Onua, Nuparu, and the Bahrag. The things that remind are: 1. The Cybug craziness from Wreck-It Ralph in 2012 2. The mutated monkey rampage from The Powerpuff Girls Movie in 2002 3. The Brain Attack and Invasion From Below storylines from Hero Factory 4. Those tiny Insecticons that transform into balls from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in 2009
  4. I've wanted to do this for years. I give you the first complete collection of BIONICLE promo CDs available for download, soon to be hosted on BMP. Inside the archive you will find a virtual image file for every single CD available to the general public since 2001, complete with high-quality scans. Also included is a comprehensive list of the entire collection. The only such physical collection of CDs now belongs to Toa Lhikan Hordika. He is a single CD away from owning the first complete set of 35 CDs; check my signature for more details on the one missing CD. You may need a RAR archiving application to access the files. Enjoy.
  5. Hi, guys! I am not sure if this would be a good topic, but I can say it, anyway: which (favorite) Bionicle character do you think would be worthy of using Thor’s magical hammer called Mjolnir from Marvel? You see, in Marvel, Thor uses this hammer to create and control electricity and weather, fly, and create inter-dimensional portal and travel to other dimensions, such as from Earth to Asgard. It can also be thrown, fly on its own, move around, and goes back to Thor like a boomerang. It is near-indestructible, and it’s quite very powerful. See information about the hammer in here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mjolnir_(comics) . There’s one thing that I don’t get about the hammer, and that is this: How can a person be worthy of lifting and using the hammer. You see, Thor is worthy of using the hammer, but there are other people in Marvel who are worthy of using it, too, like Thorms girlfriend named Jane Foster, Thor’s father named Odin, Beta Ray Bill, Captain America, Squirrel Girl, and Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015. Not just people from Marvel, even Superman and Wonder Woman from DC Comics did that (the DC Comics is non-canon, but it could be possible). When the hammer is dropped or put down on a place, it stays at a certain spot where it is on and can’t do lifted by anyone unless this person is worthy to do it. It’s like in the King Arthur mythology, where Arthur lifted with a magical sword from a stone while other people can’t do it because he’s worthy. It’s like a magical code that scans finger prints. I don’t know what makes someone worthy of lifting and using Thor’s hammer, but I think it has to do with being a hero who either has a warrior or soldier lifestyle, wills to kill, thinks about others before itself, is honorable, powerful, has a sense of nobility, or humility. So, I would like to think that some Bionicle characters would be worthy to using the hammer because they are heroes who either have warrior and solider lifestyles, thinks about others before themselves, are honorable, powerful, have a sense of nobility, and humility, even though that Toa would go against killing, because of their Toa Code. We know that the characters have personalities while being bio-mechanical, so here's my list of worthy characters: 1. The Toa Mata/Nuva/Masters/Uniters - they always think about people and creatures they protect, are powerful and noble warriors, and honorable in the eyes of their people. 2. Takanuva 3. The Toa Inika/Mahri 4. Ackar 5. Gresh 6. The Great Spirit Mata Nui 7. Ekimu So, there. You see what I mean? I would love to see Onua and Ekimu use the hammer because they use their own hammers. Lol. Anyway, what are your thoughts about characters in your minds, who are they, and how do you think they could be worthy of using the hammer?
  6. Hi, guys! When I look Four big Lego themes, Bionicle, Hero Factory, Ninjago, and Nexo Knights, I see some interesting similarities between them: 1. Their stories all have groups of heroes who have rookies that take spotlights. 2. They involve elements, which are fire, electricity, and earth. 3. They involve technology and abnormal-looking vehicles. 4. All of themes’ stories are on the similar levels of character development, how they’re constructed, and humor. 5. They all have dragons. These may be too common if you think so, there’s another interesting thing: You see, Bionicle’s characters are constraction figures and involved with elemental powers. Hero Factory’s characters also are constraction figures, but they are less involved with elemental powers and have more advanced technology than Bionicle’s. Ninjago’s characters are minifigures and involved with elemental powers. Nexo Knights’ characters also are minifigures, but they are less involved with elemental powers and have more advanced technology than Ninjago’s. So, when I look at these qualities, I would say that Hero Factory is Bionicle’s technology counterpart, Ninjago is Bionicle’s minifigure counterpart, and Nexo Knights is Ninjago’s technology counterpart and Hero Factory’s minifigure counterpart. You see, it’s like a square. I’m not sure about Hero-Factory-and-Ninjago and Bionicle-and-Nexo-Knights counterpart comparisons, but they share some more common stuff. Of course, Legends of Chima is sort of like them, but these themes are more developed than Legends of Chima. Plus, Legends of Chima is a part of Ninjago’s story, anyway. So, what do you guys think of the comparisons? Interesting, huh?
  7. Takua gone Fishing - MOC Even though this moc looks pretty small...it took me ages to make. I tried not to keep the design simple and not to over complicate the set. The fish that you see in the moc is a Ruki fish from the Mata Nui Online Game and is an exact replica (including the colour scheme). I also kept Takuas original colours from the 2001 McDonald promo set. I also decided to include Takuas backpack from the MNOG you can view it on my Flikr page! Hope you like this moc, and I would love to hear from you! - Dan. PS: This moc will be off to BrickFair New Jersey! 8. So in working on that alternate model database project, there's cataloging and attempting to build some of the Rahi seen in the GBA game Tales of the Tohunga/Quest for the Toa. Except there doesn't seem to be a full sprite ripping of the Rahi enemies from that game to work with that I know of (not just the main images as seen on Biosector01). I also heard something of Brakas imagery being found in the game files but is that accurate and meaning sprite imagery?
  9. Hello! I'm looking to form a group of Bionicle fans who know two things: Bionicle Lore and D&D Campaign building. Why? Because I'm looking to create and publish a Comprehensive BIONICLE D&D Setting Guide. And I don't mean a Google Doc that that we throw on a wiki, I mean a real guide. A guide with in depth explanations of Lore, a bestiary of Rahi with stats and abilities for each, custom Classes and Races, Feats, items, "Magic" items, expansive list of Kanohi, organizations and factions(Order of Mata Nui, Dark Hunters), deities and mythos, plants and diseases, and the geography of the universe. A COMPLETE conversion of the BIONICLE universe into the DND 5e ruleset. Complete with artwork. Here is what I need: Writers/Homebrewers Editors Proofreaders Artists(Interior art, cartography, cover art) Graphic Designers Bestarians(Sole purpose of converting Rahi to DnD 5e beasts) Please fill out this form if you are interested! 11. Hi, guys! I know that Bionicle G2 ended last year, there is no replacement theme with an original story by Lego like Hero Factory, and you guys are talking about how did that happen. Well, we don’t know how, but I can tell you a theory: Since Lego said that it was their business decision to cancel G2, I would think that Lego is focusing other Lego things in 2017, so they had to get Bionicle and another theme called Mixels out of the way. Thus, these Lego things look like that they replaced Bionicle. The things are: 1. Star Wars theme - There’s constraction, and there’s a big wave of sets every year. Plus, there’s this new non-canon TV show called Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures. Man, I know that there are new SW movies coming out, but the TV show isn’t necessary much in my opinion. 2. Nexo Knights - a big theme for 2-3 years so far, and it replaced Legends of Chima. However, not everything in there is equal, and the TV show is getting less and less views. I believe it’s gonna end in 2018. 3. Ninjago - I respect the theme. There’s a lot of stuff in there, but the TV show is getting less and less views when Season 7 happened for some reason and the movie got mixed reviews for some reason. 4. The Lego Batman Movie - A lot of stuff. 5. BrickHeads - Those new silly-looking and non-flexible Lego counterparts of Funko Vinyl toys. They may have licensed stuff, but I kind of look at them as the replacement of Bionicle and Mixels because they are figures. Man, this year, 2017, is big with these guys. Lego sure have trouble with priorities, which led to the downfall of many Lego themes in this decade, including Bionicle. What Lego thing do you think replaced Bionicle this year?
  12. Since Bionicle G2 was horribly cancelled, I started to compare to a movie franchise called The Amazing Spider-Man movies in 2012 and 2014 (you ever heard about them?). I noticed that there are some similarities between the two franchises, and they are: 1. Both are rebooted 2010s versions from the original 2000s versions that are modernized, used for younger audience, came around five years after the cancellations of the 2000s versions, got cancelled after two years since they started, and lasted shorter than their 2000s versions. 2. Each of both 2000s versions have good and bad reviews in their last installments before they got rebooted. 3. Companies who made the 2000s versions couldn't continue them, so that's why they made the reboots. 4. Each of the 2010s versions have two storylines. Bionicle G2 has two story years while The Amazing Spider-Man series has two movies. 5. Both the 2010s versions were planned to last longer, but they were stopped as they got cancelled. 6. Both the 2010s versions use different actors to play their recycled characters, as well as the characters are and look different from their 2000s versions. 7. Both the 2010s versions use new characters as well as the old ones. 8. Both have main protagonists who learn how to be a hero and how to use their powers. The Toa had to learn that they have to fight evil to save Okoto, use their weapons, elemental powers, and masks. Peter Parker from TASM learns to become Spider-Man after he got spider-powers by learning how to use them and it is his self-given duty to save and protect people from threats. 9. The heroes from both franchises change suits and get new equipment. 10. Most of each of the 2010s franchises' villains are new and the main antagonists are old ones from the 2000s franchises, but look different and have different lives. 11. The heroes get ordinary people to support them in their adventures. 12. The heroes determine to know the truth that is related and personal to them. The Toa want to learn about their past while Peter wanted to learn about his parents' disappearance. 13. Both the 2010s franchises have funny and agile heroes, who are Lewa and Spider-Man. 14. Both show more funny scenes than their 2000s counterparts. 15. The Lord of Skull Spiders and the Lizard from the first The Amazing Spider-Man movie are the first villains to be fought by the heroes, as well as they both attract creatures relating to them. The LoSS attracts the Skull Spiders while the Lizard attracts normal and smaller lizards. 16. Umarak is like the villains from TASM movies combined. Umarak is like Electro and the Rhino when he is hired by the main villain to help them (Umarak was hired by Makuta to get his Mask of Control while Electro and Rhino are hired by the Green Goblin to help him). The main villain also enhances them with things (Umarak got enhanced when Makuta used the Mask to turn him into his Destroyer while Harry Osborn (before he turned into the Green Goblin) gave Electro a suit to help him with his powers and Rhino with a giant metal suit to destroy Spider-Man). Umarak the Hunter is like the Green Goblin when he is a smart, green-armored guy who threatened to drop a good-hearted character that a hero cares off a tall structure in front of the hero (In this case, Umarak threatened to drop Ketar off a tall cliff in front of Pohatu while the Goblin threatened to drop a girl named Gwen Stacy from a tall tower in front of Spidey). When Umarak became the Destroyer, he is like the Lizard by being mutated with claws, Electro by being a mutated (never wanted to be mutated before the mutation happened) villain who has the most screen time than the other villains in the second installment and gets killed in the end, the Green Goblin by not wanting to be mutated into a freak, and the Rhino by being large and dangerous who appeared like that in the end of the second installment. 17. Pohatu and Spider-Man had to attempt to save beings that they cared from falling to their deaths. However, Pohatu saved Ketar while Spider-Man couldn't save Gwen, who is his girlfriend (Gwen died, and that was as traumatizing as Bionicle G1's and G2's cancellations). Plus, it's interesting that both Pohatu and Peter's names both start with a "P", and Ketar element, Stone, is the same as the actress who played Gwen, Emma Stone's last name. Lol. 18. Makuta is like the Rhino and Green Goblin combined. Makuta got mutated by the Mask of Ultimate Power while Harry Osborn was given a serum that turned him into the Green Goblin. They became stronger and got new armor and powers. They also both appear, fought and get defeated by the heroes and at the very end of the second installments and the entire stories (not too impressed, in my opinion). Makuta and Rhino are also big and last villains in the second installments and the entire stories to be fought by the heroes (Makuta got defeated while Rhino's battle with Spider-Man was never concluded sadly). 19. They both have a grudge against the heroes before they got mutated. Makuta was jealous of Ekimu, so he created the Mask of Ultimate Power and was trying to use it, but Ekimu stopped him by knocking the mask off from his face. Makuta later turned evil and wanted to defeat Ekimu and the Toa when he could get out of the Shadow Realm. Harry asked Spider-Man if Spider-Man could help him cure his disease, but Spidey declined, so Harry hated him and turned evil. 20. Stories from both the 2010s stories have shadowed villains who secretly serve as major threats to the heroes. Makuta is sort of like that before revealing his giant form while a man in the shadows in TASM movies works with Harry in creating the Sinister Six and defeating Spider-Man. 21. Both second installments sadly show major female characters with heroic hearts die in the end. In the 4th episode of The Journey to One, Gali died by having her soul sucked into the Shadow Realm, but the soul returned to her body, so she's alive again. Gwen, however, died from a fall from a tall clock building in the end of the The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and stays dead (Poor girl. Why can't she be like Gali by being still alive? ). Also, Gali's and Gwen's names both start with a "G" and have four letters in each name. Lol. (To be honest, I originally thought that Pohatu is going to die instead of Gali because Gwen's actress, Emma Stone's last name is the same as Pohatu's element. Lol. Plus, Pohatu would have sacrificed himself to try to make up for his mistake of letting Umarak the Hunter take the Mask of Control when Umarak, as the Destroyer, proves too powerful for the Toa to defeat.) 22. Each of the rebooted franchises has both good and bad reviews and their stories are a bit rushed, which could be reasons why they are infamously cancelled. That really broke my heart twice. (crying in tears of sadness). When some people say that after their cancellations, they feel that the rebooted franchises could be sort of forgotten. 23. Both rebooted franchises include powerful guys using hi-tech-looking jet-like machines to fly, they ride them with their feet, and use blades. In this case, Bionicle G2's Pohatu uses his boomerangs as gliders on his feet while he carries a dagger while The Amazing Spider-Man 2's the Green Goblin, well, use a glider to fly and a strange-looking blade. 24. Both 2010s franchises involved abnormal spiders with powers. In Bionicle 2015, there are skull-shaped spiders called the Skull Spiders, which can mind-control people when they attach to their faces. In the first The Amazing Spider-Man movie in 2012, there is a radioactive or genetically-altered spider that bit Peter Parker by the hand and gave him spider-powers. When I look at characters, it goes like this: Spider-Man = the Toa (Mostly Lewa. Lol. ) Gwen = Gali The Lizard = the Lord of Skull Spiders Electro = Umarak The Rhino = Umarak the Destroyer The Green Goblin = Makuta Spider-Man's Uncle Ben = Ekimu (Important old people. Lol. ) So, guys, what do you think? Good comparisons? Plus, do you think that Lego probably took inspiration from TASM series to make bionic G2 before TASM series was cancelled (That kind of would be called a weak inspiration since both franchises are cancelled similar), or is it just coincidence (I feel most likely)?
  13. Who wants bionicle g1 back? with the old building system, continuing on where it ended
  14. Hi, guys! We know that throughout Bionicle's history, there have a small number of video games. Many of them aren't well-received, whether they get mixed or negative reviews. Geez. I thought Bionicle Heroes in 2006 is pretty good. Anyway, if you would want a Bionicle video game that is well-received, what would your dream Bionicle video game would be? For me, I made up of a very good one: Title: Bionicle Generations or Bionicle: Inter-dimensional Forces Makers: Traveller's Tales and TT Games (Makers who made the TT Lego Games from 2005 to now (mainly on Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes and 3: Beyond Gotham, Lego Marvel Super Heroes, Lego Avengers, and Lego City Undercover)) Gameplay: Same as the TT Lego Games, but constraction figures in place of minifigures or just minifigures with pieces similar to the Hero Factory minifigures in 2014. In the story, you will play certain main characters from the past storylines. Also, while you do an adventure in a level or you are doing a mission for someone in a hub area, you can fight enemies of various kinds and bosses from the storylines. Each of the bosses have a boss meter, which would be either a straight line or have at least 3-4 hearts, like in the Lego Games. They would also have their minions come to their aide. All characters can be voiced by people from the Lego Games, and their descriptions would look modernized by today's Lego building system, so this system, probably the CCBS, would re-master their Bionicle-set-like descriptions while re-cycling some G1 parts, making them look better in the game, like the Muaka, Kane-Ra and the Bohrok having bendable limbs and Nui-Rama having legs (It's like how you look at Metal Sonic from Sonic CD video game in 1993 and Perfect Chaos from Sonic Adventure in 1998 for how they got modernized and re-mastered by graphics in Sonic Generations). There is also a function in a level, where you switch between characters in different places, even ones far away, like that function in the Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars game in 2011 and Lego The Lord of the Rings game in 2012. The graphics are 3-D, like the Lego Games. Plus, the game would be released in a console version of many kinds. Story: It would be like Turtles Forever in 2009 and Sonic Generations in 2011 when a player explores the main parts of the franchise's history. The game would be a crossover sequel of Bionicle G1 (2001-2010-2011) and G2 (2015-2016), as Velika from G1 kidnaps Vezon and steals the G1's Mask of Time from Voporak. He would use Vezon as an inter-dimensional device, due to Vezon having the powers of the Kanohi Olmak, aka Mask of Dimensional Gates, to go to the G2 universe, in the Shadow Realm, where he meets Makuta, from G2, who is trapped there. Before Velika frees Makuta, he offers Makuta that in order to destroy their good-hearted foes and take over both universes, they have to work together. Makuta agrees because he wants revenge on G2's Toa and Ekimu and be praised as a god before he gets out of the Shadow Realm while going with Velika to G2's real world. Velika and Makuta also steal G2's Mask of Time, as Velika revealed that the G2 Mask is the upper half of the G1 Mask, which is the lower half. He further explains that in the G1 universe, when Spherus Magna was shattering after the Core War, the Great Beings created instructions and got materials for the completed Mask of Time. However, they worried that if the Mask is destroyed in the Matoran Universe, it would do a lot of damage to the place, so they planned to divide the Mask into two functional halves in hopes of lessening the damage. They started with the upper half before they had Artakha invent two Olmak. They used one of the Olmak to go to the G2 universe to hide the upper half of the Mask of Time there. When they arrived, they gave it to Ekimu for safekeeping. The Great Beings were trying to create the lower half, but they are running out of time before Spherus Magna is destroyed, so they had Artahka keep the materials for the lower half in the Matoran Universe before the Shattering happened. Artahka was worried that if the lower half is destroyed in the MU, it would do a lot of damage in there, too (But not as much as a completed Mask of Time), so he used the materials to create the six Great Disks before in hopes of decreasing the damage. Velika and Makuta now have both halves of the Mask of Time, so they forge them together to create the completed Mask. This new Mask of Time is stronger than the individual halves. The duo of villains also create a giant mech-like machine that can travel through time and space. It also contains the new Mask to travel through time and Vezon to inter-dimensional travel. The villains also use the machine to try to change the G1's and G2's past storylines to help the bad guys in there succeed, defeat their heroic enemies, and turn everything in there into their horrible and tyrannical images. They also recruit Von Nebula from Hero Factory since Von Nebula is a mastermind like them and wants revenge on his heroic enemies (and he could the main culprit for the Breakout when he had Black Phantom stole the plans for the Hero Factory building and then Brain Attack events when he gave the plans to the Brain maker). I add that part because I would like to think that Hero Factory shares the same universe as Bionicle G1 because of the similarities, and it may be implied, despite Greg Farshtey not admitting it just because the themes aren’t active. Anything can happen, like how Legends of Chima became a part of Ninjago. So, the villains also do evil changes in HF’s events. When the Toa Nuva, G1's Tahu, Takanuva, Gresh, Mata Nui (the being, and who is awaken to notice this, so he got himself his Toa-sized form again), and Ekimu notice something is horribly wrong with the space-time continuum in their universes and the machine appeared, stealing their allies and friends, and throw them into the past storylines, they go after the machine. Before Ekima goes after the machine, he summons G2's Toa to help him deal with the problem while G1 Tahu goes to find an Energized Protodermis pool to become a Toa Nuva again (and probably have Artakha make new replacements for his lost masks in Ta-Koro’s destruction) because he has a feeling that this problem would be very hard to deal with. The Heroes from Hero Factory have the same thing. The main heroes from G1 and G2 and HF end up in a strange inter-dimensional world where there are time and inter-dimensional portals that lead to the past storylines, and they are created by the machine, and that place is the main place in the game (similar to white space place in Sonic Generations). The heroes from both universes meet each other for the first time (It goes like this: The Toa Nuva, G1 Tahu, Takanuva, Gresh, and Mata Nui (all main heroes of G1) meeting with the G2 Toa and Ekimu (the main heroes of G2) ), as well as the Alpha 1 Team from HF, and they see their similarities and differences. The forces of good introduce each other (Funny that I would imagine that the Toa Mata and G2 Toa would fight each other to see which team is better, and the two Pohatu's argue about their personality differences. Lol. ). Takanuva, Gresh, Mata Nui, and Ekimu and the HF heroes also question why they don't see their own counterparts other than the Toa Nuva and G2 Toa, but they say that they share some similarities with each other and the Toa teams. After good forces from both universes discuss their common problem involving the machine, they agree to work together to set things right in the past storylines, find and find out what the machine is, destroy it, and save both of their universes before the machine does any more damage in the space-time continuum of them. That's just the prologue of the story. Here's where a player starts playing. It will play the main heroes in the new story. Throughout the story, there are 15 Bionicle levels (the habitual things that Lego Games have nowadays). The player would begin the first level by going into the portal leading to it. After completing the first level, the second level will be unlocked with the portal to it being opened. After completing the second level, a third level will be unlocked before so on until the 15th level, which is the final level. Each of the first 14 levels is based on one of the main storylines in the Bionicle franchise, but they have to be quick because of the new story. In each of those levels, you could have the main heroes team up with the ones from their respective storylines, who you can play, too. Also, the levels show that the storylines are sort of altered with changes made by the machine to make their respective heroes' adventures harder than how they were in the storylines before the dangerous changes happen in the game, and these changes threaten to defeat the heroes. The main heroes of the game notice, so they go to save the storylines' heroes from them and help these heroes defeat these changes (It's like Kingdom Hearts games when you look at them). These changes include more villains from the past storylines summon their minions to assist them in their battles with the heroes, the Bohrok-Kal forming the Bohrok-Kal Kaita to stop the Toa Nuva in their final battle in the early 2003 storyline, and Umarak the Destroyer and G2 Makuta working together side by side, with their minions to their aide, to try to defeat the Toa Uniters and Ekimu in the 2016 storyline. The levels are: 1. The 2001 storyline - This level would be a tutorial for the player. The main objective in the level is to collect 12 masks and a Golden mask for each Toa Mata while protecting the Matoran and Turaga. Then, the Toa become Toa Kaita before facing Makuta Teridax. Characters in the storyline to play: the Toa Mata. Enemies: Rahi with Infected masks - Fikou, Shore Turtles, Nui-Rama, Nui-Kopen, Nui-Jaja, Tarakava, Muaka, Kane-Ra, Kuma-Nui, Manas, and Mana Ko. Boss in the middle of the level: Tarakava Nui, Lewa wearing an Infected Mask, and Shadow Toa. Boss in the end of the level: Teridax in his vortex form. 2. 2002 - Objective: Collect 8 kinds of dominant Krana from each type of Bohrok by defeating the Bohrok who has them while protecting the people. After that, use them to unlock the Exo-Toa before fighting the Bahrag. Characters in the storyline to play: the Toa Mata with Golden Kanohi and their Exo-Toa when piloting them. Enemies: Bohrok, Bohrok Kaita, Bohrok Va, Bohrok Va Kaita, and Krana-controlled Matoran. Bosses in the middle of the level: Krana-controlled Tahu, Lewa, and Turaga Matau. Bosses in the end of the level: the Bahrag. 3. Early 2003 - Objective - Find and fight the Bohrok-Kal and get the Toa Nuva's elemental powers back. Characters in the storyline to play: the Toa Nuva with their powers increased. Enemies: Random hostile Rahi in the island of Mata Nui. Bosses: the Bohrok-Kal and Bohrok-Kal Kaita (they would happen as the Bohrok-Kal's last resort). 4. Late 2003 - Objective: Protect Takua and Jaller from the Rahkshi that Makuta summoned to get them. Then, when Takua becomes Takanuva, find and fight Makuta. Characters in the storyline to play: the Toa Nuva, Takua, Takanuva, Jaller, Pewku when riding him. Enemies: hostile Rahi, Infected-Mask-wearing Matoran, Rahkshi (?) (Turahk, Guurahk, Levahk, Korahk, Panrahk, and Vorahk), Rahkshi Kaita (?), Kraata, Shadow Kraata. Bosses in the middle: Kurahk-infected Tahu, Rahkshi (?), and Rahkshi Kaita (?). Boss in the end: Makuta in his Shadow Titan form. 5. 2004 - Objective: Collect six Great Disks while protecting the Matoran from the Morbuzakh before fighting it. After that, fight the Vahki and two Dark Hunters, Nidhiki and Krekka, before fighting Makuta. Characters in the storyline to play: the Toa Metru and Kikanalo when riding them. Enemies: Vahki, Kranua, Kraahu, and Krahli. Bosses in the middle: Morbuzakh, Nidhiki, and Krekka. Boss in the end: Makuta in his winged Titan form. He would turn from the movie version of the form into the set version, because the set version looks more dangerous and harder to beat than the movie version. 6. 2005 - Objective: Find Keetongu and then fight the Visorak and their leaders. Characters in the storyline to play: the Toa Hordika, whose abilities are sort of different from the Toa Metru, and Keetongu. Enemies: Visorak. Bosses: corrupted Vakama, Sidorak, and Roodaka. 7. 2006 - Objective: Fight and free the Priaka's enslaved and mind-controlled Matoran servants in Voya Nui, fight the Piraka and Brutaka, go through the trails in the Chamber of Life, and finally fight Vezon and his steed, Fenrakk, who would turn into the Kardas Dragon, in order to get the Mask of Life. Characters in the storyline to play: the Toa Inika, whose elemental powers are mixed with lightning and have Zamor Launchers that can cure the Matoran to free them from their enslavement. Enemies: enslaved Matoran and Nektann robots. Bosses in the middle: the Piraka, Brutaka, illusions in the Zone of Nightmares, who are based on past enemies, and Umbra. Bosses in the end: Vezon and Fenrakk, who would become the Kardas Dragon after being defeated. 8. 2007 - This level takes place in underwater, as water-breathing characters can swim in there. Objective: Find the Mask of Life while protecting it from and fighting the Barraki, Hydraxon, Maxilos, which is possessed by Makuta, and Spinax. Matoro would also go to a place where he would use the mask to revive the Great Spirit Mata Nui. Characters in the storyline to play: the Toa Mahri, who are armed with Cordak Blasters. Enemies: the Barraki's underwater creature forces and Zyglak. Bosses in the middle: the Barraki, Nocturn, Hydraxon, Maxilos, Spinax, giant Gadunka, giant 300-foot-long Mutant Venom Eel, and that giant and organic Behemoth creature that Kongu summoned. Bosses in the end: the Barraki. 9. 2008 - In this level, there is a lot of flying involved. Objective: Protect Av-Matoran from eight members of the Brotherhood of Makuta, or the Makuta as you can call them, and their Shadow Matoran minions, fight the Brotherhood and Shadow Matoran, destroy the Shadow Leech Hive, search for and use the six Keystones to unlock the Codex after you find the Codrex, use a Klakk to cure the Shadow Matoran, have Toa Ignika re-awaken Mata Nui in the Codrex, and finally use the Codrex's flying vehicles to fly away from the Energy Storms until you get to a portal to get out of Karda Nui. Characters in the storyline to play: the Toa Nuva (wearing their Adaptive Armor, which can adapt to any environment they are in and vehicles), Takanuva (in his giant and partial-drained-light form), Toa Ignika (including his Skyboard), and the Toa Nuva's Av-Matoran allies (Tamna, Solek, and Photok, who Kopaka, Lewa, and Pohatu can combine with). Enemies: Shadow Matoran, Shadow Leeches, and Rahi in Karda Nui except for the Klakk. Bosses in the middle: the eight Makuta (Antroz, who would fight both by himself and driving the Jetrax T6, Vamprah, Chirox, Krika, Gorast, Bitil, Mutran, and Icarax) and their Shadow Matoran servants (Raidak, Gavla, Kirop, and Vican, who Antroz, Vamprah, Chirox, and Mutran can combine with). Bosses in the end: the Makuta. 10. 2009 - Objective: Fight the Skrall, Bone Hunters, and their leaders to save Bara Magna from them. Characters in the storyline to play: Mata Nui (in his 7-foot-tall form with the Mask of Life), Ackar, Kiina (with her Thornatus), Gresh, Gelu, Tarix, and Vastus, at least. Enemies: the Skall, Rock Agori, Bone Hunters and Rock Steeds, Vorox, and Zesk. Bosses in the middle: Branar, Stronius, Atakus, Fero and Skirmix, Malum, Strakk, a Sand Bat that attacked Mata Nui, a Skopio that also attacked Mata Nui and his two of allies, Sahmad (including his Baramus V7 and Spikit), and Telluris (with his Skopio XV-1). Bosses in the end: Tuma, Hero and Skirmix, and Metus. 11. 2010 - Objective: First, have Mata Nui find a power source for the Prototype Robot on Bara Magna. Then, use the power source to activate the Robot, so he can control it as his new body. Later, the Battle for Bara Magna happens. Have Tahu, Takanuva, and Fresh find the six pieces of the Golden Armor while fighting bad guys who has them. During that, have Mata Nui fight against Makuta Teridax, who is controlling the Great Spirit Robot. Since Mata Nui and Teridax are much bigger than normal-sized people fighting below them, you can use the switching function to switch between Mata Nui and his normal-sized forces (well, you can have the main characters of the game help those good guys only because they too are normal-sized). After collecting the Golden Armor, use it to defeat Rahkshi. Then, having Mata Nui defeat Teridax. Characters in the storyline to play: Mata Nui, Tahu (with and without the Golden Armor), Takanuva, and Gresh. Enemies: at least Rahkshi of Heat Vision, Skakdi, and Skrall. Boss in the middle: Nektann (the being). Boss in the end: Teridax. 12. 2011 - Objective: Fight against Velika and other evil and opposing forces in order to protect people on Spherus Magna. This is based on the latest online serials, "Sahmad's Tale", "The Yesterday Quest", and "The Power That Be" in 2010-2011. This level would give each of the latter two serials endings since they got discontinued in 2011. Characters in the storyline to play: the heroes and protagonists in the serials, including Sahmad, Telluris, Metus, Gelu, the Skakdi Fusion, Orde, Chiara, Zaria, Lewa, Kopaka, and Pohatu. Enemies: Various, including animals in Bota Magna, Vorox, Zesk, Kestora, the Sisters of the Skrall, Dark Hunters, Bone Hunters, Skrall. Bosses in the middle: Krabua, the Sisters' leader, Annona, Kestora's leader, Atakus, Perditus, the Shadowed One, the Marendar, and the Element Lords. Boss in the end: Velika. 13. 2015 - Objective: Find the six Golden Masks of Power while fighting Skull Spiders. Then, go to the City of the Mask Makers, where you go find Ekimu's tomb while fighting against Skull Creatures. After that, go to the Forge and defeat Kulta the Skull Grinder to save the Mask of Creation from him. Characters in the storyline to play: the Toa Masters, Protecters, and Ekimu (with the Mask of Creation or that golden Protector Mask). Enemies: Skull Spiders and people who get possessed by them, Skull Warriors, and Skull Scorpio's. Bosses in the middle: the Lord of Skull Spiders, Skull Slicer, and Skull Basher. Boss in the end: the Skull Grinder (he would lose a little bit of health at first before he would wear the Mask of Creation to get tougher for the rest of the boss fight). 14. 2016 - Objective: Find the six Elemental Creatures (Ikir, Akida, Uxar, Ketar, Terak, and Melum) and the Golden Masks of Unity while fighting Umarak the Hunter and the Shadow Traps. Then, go to the Labyrinth of Control to find the Mask of Control while still fighting Umarak and the Traps. After that, protect the City from Elemental Beasts. Next, find and fight Umarak while fighting the Elemental Beasts that he summons to attack the player. After that, fight against and imprison G2 Makuta back to the Shadow Realm. Characters in the storyline to play: the Toa Uniters, their own Elemental Creatures (the Toa can combine with them), Ekimu (in normal and Toa form). Enemies, the Shadow Traps, Elemental Beasts, and probably Makuta's minions from the Shadow Realm. Bosses in the middle: Umarak (both Hunter and Destroyer) and the Toa Uniters' own Elemental Creatures (They ally with the Toa after the Toa defeat them). Bosses in the end: Umarak the Destroyer and Makuta. I know it's a lot, but if you think it's too much, then let's skip to the bosses at the end of their levels. Along the way, the main heroes of the game (the Toa Nuva, Takanuva, Gresh, Mata Nui, the G2 Toa, and Ekimu) observe the changes made by the machine in horror. The heroes do not like to look at these because these try to defeat the heroes in the storylines, and they know that the changes create untrue things, and they feel that the mysterious force that sent them to the inter-dimensional place could be responsible for the changes, and so they feel that they must stop it before it would be any more damage to their universes and their timelines. They also have conversions about their adventures and stories with them, and having feelings about them. Some of those who did not know about certain storylines learn about them, too. After the 14th level is completed, the portal to the 15th and final level is unlocked, so the heroes go to the level. After that, when the heroes arrive at the other side of the inter-dimensional place, they discover the machine and suspect that it is the one responsible for putting them in the inter-dimensional place in the first place and the dangerous changes. Plus, the machine is a mech, so it opened its cockpits, revealing Velika, G2 Makuta, and Von Nebula. The villains explain that they are the ones who created the machine and are responsible for changing the events in the past storylines. They also reveal their plan to use this to defeat the heroes and twist the timelines of the G1 and G2 universes and the universes themselves into their images to conquer the universes tyrannically. The heroes don't want this to happen, so they go to fight the mech, but it's giant and very powerful, so it's extremely hard for them to defeat it. However, they summon their allies to help the heroes. Here's how the 15th and final level goes: 15. Final level and exclusive storyline in the game - Defeat Velika, Von Nebula, and G2 Makuta's mech to save both universes and their timelines and storylines. The heroes' allies would be helping the heroes along the way. Characters in the level to play: the main heroes of the game (the Toa Nuva, Takanuva, Gresh, Mata Nui, the G2 Toa, and Ekimu and the Alpha 1 Team). Enemies: Every minion from all the 20 levels with all 20 past storylines (this is because the mech summons them to help Velika and Makuta and VN defeat the heroes). Boss: the mech (piloted by Velika, G2 Makuta and VN), which is the final boss of the entire game. The mech is very powerful, as it is giant, can summon the minions, teleport, fly, has six arms that can use giant versions of the villains' weapons (Velika's Power Carvers, G2 Makuta's staff and blades, and VN’s Black Hole Staff), shoot energy blasts, create teleporting black holes (VN), and use G2 Makuta's powers, which are Shadow and the powers of the Mask of Ultimate Power (Fire, Water, Jungle, Stone, Earth, and Ice). Along the way, while you are decreasing the mech's boss meter, the mech gets tougher, so the Toa Nuva combine into the Toa Nuva Kaita. The G2 Toa say that they wish to do form their own Kaita, so the Toa Nuva Kaita teaches them to do this while fighting the mech. The G2 Toa eventually learn how to form their own Kaita, so they go to help the Toa Nuva Kaita and the other heroes fight the mech. The level ends when the heroes work together to decrease the boss meter and defeat the mech. If I were to include Hero Factory and make the game a crossover game, it would be six levels in between the Bionicle G1 levels and the Bionicle G2 levels because I always like to think that it shares the same universe as G1 because of similarities. It’s 21 levels in total. 1. One of the HF levels would have the HF’s 2010 storyline (with VN as the main boss, his six henchmen as mid-bosses, and Mekron City robots as minions. Plus, mind-controlled Preston Stormer as a mid-boss). 2. One with the Ordeal of Fire storyline in early 2011 (with Fire Lord as the main boss and his three henchmen as mid-bosses), 3. One with the Savage Planet storyline in late 2011 (the Witch Doctor as the main boss and his mind-controlled Quatros animals as minions/mid-bosses). 4. One with the Breakout storyline in 2012 (the eight Breakout villains as mid-bosses and Black Phantom as the main boss. Plus, they would have minions). 5. One with the Brain Attack storyline in 2013 (the Brains and their mind-controlled slaves as minions, and Dragon Bolt and mind-controlled Surge as bosses). 6. One with the Invasion From Below storyline in 2014 (the Queen Beast as the main boss, the Flyer Beast and Splitter Beast as probably mid-bosses, and the other kinds of Jumpers as the minions). Ending of the entire game: After the heroes defeated the mech, they rescue Vezon from it, recover the Mask of Time, and use the mech to get rid of the changes in the past storylines. They then destroy the mech, causing it to explode and sending Velika and G2 Makuta to the inter-dimensional place. The heroes and their allies and Vezon are sent back to the G1 universe, where they celebrate their victory. Doing the celebration, a portal to the G2 universe appears. The G2 people say that it's time to go home. Before they do, the G1 and G2 heroes say that they would be going to encounter each of their universe's more own people (meaning that G1 having its own versions of the characters who are introduced in G2, like G1 having its own Ekimu, Protectors, Skull Creatures, Elemental Beasts, and Umarak. The same would go to G2 having its own versions of the characters who are exclusive in G1, like G2 having its own Toa Metru, Toa Mahri, Piraka, Barraki, Skrall, Bone Hunters, etc.). Then they say goodbye and thanks for helping each other save their universes before G2 people go to the portal to their universe. The celebrations continues in both universes. The End. During the end credits rolling, there are two mid-end-credit scenes. The first is where G1 heroes encounter their universe's own G2-introduced good-hearted people (the Protectors and Ekimu) and villains (including the Skull Creatures an Umarak) while the G2 heroes encounter their universe's own G1-exclusive good-hearted people (including the Toa Metru and Toa Mahri, probably HF heroes) and villains (including the Piraka and Barraki, probably HF villains). The heroes, along with their new allies that remind them of others from each other's dimensions, go to fight the new villains that also remind them of others from each other's universes. The second scene is where Velika, Makuta, and VN are trapped in the inter-dimensional place, and they see no way out of there while they are feeling upset (Imagine Makuta saying "This is worse than the Shadow Realm!" Lol. ). I'm also thinking there would be a third scene that would preview G3. In the game, the inter-dimensional place is the main hub place as there are two additional portals, one that can take you the G1 one and one that can take you to the G2 universe. It would be obvious that the G1 dimension has more stuff than the G2 one. In each dimension, you get to travel around, look for goodies of various, do people favors, etc. You can also come back to the levels to get more goodies, and the hub areas would include extra levels that are based Bionicle's and HF’s side stories, like the online serials. You can do all of these things to complete the game, like every other Lego Game of of this decade lately. Man, if that game could exist, it would and could win an award or at least have positive reviews and be called the best Bionicle video game ever (do you agree?). (Plus, it took me a few days to came up of this idea.) I know it's lot, but it's a game that I would like to imagine. Well, I may also be thinking some other made-up games, like: 1. Re-mastered versions of the Mata Nui Online Games and Voya Nui Online Game with new 3-D graphics, and where characters would look like that they are made of the CCBS system or some other modern building system of today. 2. A re-master on Bionicle Heroes where characters would look like that they are made of the CCBS system or some other modern building system of today. Plus, remove the glitches. Same with Bionicle: The Game in 2003. 3. A video game, probably a RPG kind, where you customize your own Bionicle character and then fight against enemies and bosses. 4. A re-master of that cancelled Bionicle PC game, Bionicle: The Legend of Mata Nui, where it can be released in either console or handheld versions of many kinds, with new 3-D graphics, and where characters would look like that they are made of the CCBS system or some other modern building system of today. Plus, fix and add stuff in there. Good ideas, huh? So, there. What is your dream Bionicle video game? (P.S. Please don't say something like "this wouldn't happen or is it possible". We are just talking about video games, based on our imagination, that we would like to happen.)
  15. Okay, I know that is a click-bait title, but hear me out. One possibility if Lego decides to drop ccbs or other construction settings in the future but decided to reboot Bionicle is to do as it a Mech series (ala Exo-force) using standard the standard Lego system to build sets and specialised minifigs for the characters. The rough idea is this: The Matoran are a bio-mechanical race who live in peace and harmony with the world around them with their limited elemental gifts; trees growing faster as they tend them, metals forge by fuelless flames and city mounded from the mountains like children's clay. Their culture with it's myriad of blessed masks tells tales of great kings and heroes - the Toa, titans of such size they could step over hills, such strength to smash down mountains and the power to raise whole ranges with a flick of their hands. At first the Toa used their power for good, but one by one they fell to some darkness - and their war shook the world. The Matoran wear their masks to enshrine the Toas' glory, and to remember their horrors. However a new evil has arisen - great monsters called the Rahkshi, arising from the shadows of night and eclipse to destroy everything the Matoran have worked for. Worst, a cult calling itself the 'Brotherhood of Makuta' is predicting these attacks with startling accuracy and is using this knowledge to grow their power base. 6 Matoran use the chaos to go on an expedition through a forbidden desert to a ruined citadel. Tahu, a prince who seeks the chance for a warrior's life; Gali, a explorer who lost everything to a rahkshi; Pohatu, a wounded Kolhii star with knowledge of the deserts; Kopaka, a ranger and loner; Onua, an ageing soldier and teacher; and Lewa, a young acrobat seeking adventure. Within the ruins they find golden masks; giving them power over ancient warmachines and ascending them to the rank of Toa. So what did you guys think?

  17. Hello, I posted a topic for these earlier this year but it has since died; so this is a re-post of this topic. Anyway, I have quite the haul of Bionicle sets that have been packed away for years and I'd like to get rid of them for more space and money towards my gaming collection; as such, I am not looking to trade for other sets. Ideally I'd like to part with everything, so with that said here is what I've got: Strikeouts indicate sold items, while bold indicate on hold items. 2001 8531 Pohatu 8532 Onua 8533 Gali 8534 Tahu 8535 Lewa 8536 Kopaka 8537 Nui-Rama Toa Mata Promo Mini CD x1 8540 Vakama 8541 Matau 8542 Onewa 8543 Nokama 8544 Nuju 8545 Whenua 8546 Power Pack (No original box. 20. While taking photos of various Bionicle things, I thought it would be cool to try to take some iconic pictures of Matoran on Mata Nui. 23. Hi, guys! We know that Bionicle is mentioned in The Lego Movie Cinematic Universe in 2014-2017. Here's how that happened: 1. In The Lego Movie in 2014, Wyldstyle showed a flashback picture of the Toa Mata in one scene where he is explaining to Emmet about other worlds while they are riding their horses, and Bionicle being one of them. 2. On one scene at the beginning of The Lego Batman Movie, there is a movie theater label saying "Bionicle Movie". So, if Lego decides to make a The Lego Movie Cinematic Universe Movie based on Bionicle, it would be called "The Bionicle Lego Movie". This would be the first Bionicle movie to be theatrical. It's not like that pre-2016 Spider-Man movies are separate from Marvel Cinematic Universe as you may think. I mean, if Lego decides to make a theatrical Bionicle movie, it would be a part of The Lego Movie Cinematic Universe, and I believe that it's 100% very possible. Of course, this movie would have Bionicle as the main thing, like Batman and Ninjago. Everything in the movie would be made of Lego pieces, but with some Technic here and there. It would also a mix of original Bionicle lore and new comedy genre, like the other Lego Movies. It would also include characters from other franchises as "special guests", like how The Lego Batman Movie happened. Now, here's the question that I would like to ask you guys: if "The Lego Bionicle Movie" were to happen, how would you guys like to be? For me, here are some ideas: 1. Makuta Teridax, the main antagonist as always, gathering every Bionicle villain from Bionicle's history or new bad guys to make a super-large army to invade and take over the Bionicle world. 2. The Toa Mata are the main protagonists. They have to stop the villains. 3. The Toa Mata would be trained by either the Turaga, who were the Toa Metru, Ekimu, Toa Helryx, Hydraxon, Artakha (being), or Mata Nui (being). 4. The Toa Mata would also train the Toa Inika and have them as their sidekicks (Maybe save it for a sequel). 5. Mata Nui and/or Ekimu would have a sibling rivalry with Teridax in a funny, but sad, way. 6. The Toa Mata would talk about some things that were the past Lego Movies. They mention a time where they are visited by Wyldstyle, so that's how Wyldstyle is able to make the flashback. The Toa Mata would also mention a time where they were actors in a movie called "Bionicle Movie", which is how the movie theater in The Lego Batman Movie has the label "Bionicle Movie" on it. They probably would start bragging about the movie. 7. The Bionicle world would have Master Builders, which are the Great Beings, the Toa Mata, Toa Metru/Turaga, Toa Inika, other Toa that we know, Ekimu, Artahka, Mata Nui, the Order of Mata Nui, Ekimu, the Glatorian, and the Protectors from G2. The Toa Mata would mention their visit to The Dog from The Lego Movie in 2014 at one time that didn't take place during that movie, but they would say that they helped repair Cloud Cuckoo Land. 8. All characters and settings from G1 and G2 can appear in the movie. 9. If Teridax needs new evil villains to assist him, he would gather ones from other constraction themes, similar to the Joker in The Lego Batman Movie. 10. For the animation, well, it's like the other Lego Movies, but I don't know about the magical masks. Doing stop-motion-like animation on these may be very tricky, unless it's all minifgures rather than action figures. However, constraction is what defines Bionicle, so it would be hard to do it. 11. If the Bionicle characters are constraction figures, they would appear to be giants to minifigures from other worlds. I would imagine either minifgures being scared of giant robot monsters or the Toa accidentally step on them. LOL. 12. Here's my list of voice actors for the movie: http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/24174-what-famous-movie-celebrity-actors-would-you-like-to-play-a-bionicle-character/ So, there you have it. How would you imagine "The Lego Bionicle Movie" to be like? (Note: Please don't say the probability of the movie happening because this is not what this topic is about. This is about how would like the movie to be if it happens. Just use your imagination. )
  24. How do you guys feel about buying BIONICLE and other LEGO-related merchandise from casual or former fans if they have no idea how much the merchandise is currently worth on the market? Last year I saw a huge lot of BIONICLE sets and pieces for sale on a local trading website and I specifically contacted the seller to ask if he'd agree to sell me just three mask for about 20% of his asking price. At first, he was reluctant but as soon as I insisted, he agreed. Now, most people would assume that what I did was fair (as I did at the time), but here's the thing: his asking price for the entire lot wasn't much to begin with; it was 100 BGN, which amounts to about 60 USD. On top of that, the masks I got were a chrome Hau, a misprint green Matatu and a trans-yellow Kaukau. I subsequently kept the Hau, sold the Matatu for slightly more money and traded the Kaukau for a Toa Inika Promo CD, which was the only copy I had ever seen in my life. So I don't consider that I cheated the person as I barely got any money out of the purchase directly, and chances are the he wouldn't have even bothered to put any of the pieces up for individual sale; he just wanted to get rid of the lot for a quick buck. But I did still deliberately withhold information from him regarding the current market for these pieces and in all honesty, I would never do that again with a clear conscience. I see a lot of people on Facebook tend to brag when they make purchases like that and I can't help but a feel a bit... disappointed. If the seller is aware of how much they can get for an item but sell it to you cheap anyway, that's perfectly fine. But if they don't have a clue and ask you how much you'd give, and then you casually offer $20 for a sealed Toa Lhikan set, that is cheating, IMHO. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.
  25. So While at work, I had an hour to think about the Original Bohrok Story line, and I decided to outline my own Tweak to it to make it a little more War-Like/darker The following is just an outline, so there may be plot holes, new concepts that go against the original story, as well as some areas in need of expanding. Any suggestions are appreciated. "The Bohrok Wars Alternative Timeline" - The Toa Mata defeat Teridax the same way as the in the original version. They appear on Kini-Nui and everything is as it was: a paradise. There is no sounds of destruction, no screaming Matoran, Only peace. - Weeks go by, and the Villages thrive. The Toa Mata begin to explore more of the Island and test their abilities even further. They slowly begin to develop abilities they once thought undoable. - A single earthquake created by Onua reaches a dark Cavern Beneath the Island...A single Tahnok Va awkens and emerges from a small chamber. It makes it's way to the surface to see the Island as it is. It returns to the nest to find a room with two sleeping giants. "it is time." a dark voice echoes throughout the cavern. Next to the creatures lies a whole in the shape of a Tahnok Shield. The Tahnok Va presses it's head into the wall, and a line of light shines from the hole. It travels across the floor until it reaches the two sleeping giants, the Bahrag. Gahdok's eyes open... -"The Day Mata Nui Stood Still." A massive earthquake shook the island, as six entrances were created out of the earth. Six breeds of Bohrok emerged. The Bohrok began their attack. Two matoran exploring the icy coast of Ko-Wahi run into a group of Tahnok...they never returned home. - The Toa and Matoran are quick to notice the new creatures attacking their homes. They try to fight individually with their new powers but sustain heavy casualties to each region. Matoran are killed. The turaga are injured. The Toa Retreat to Kini-Nui with the Turaga, The Matoran fortifiy each village and prepare for attacks. The Boxors are built. -The legend of the Bohrok is revealed, as well as the way to defeat them. It Takes two weeks for the Toa to keep the Bohrok at bay while collecting the eight breeds of Krana. During this period, Lewa, Tahu, and Onua briefly are taken control of by a Krana. The Original Onu-Koro is destroyed, Ko-Koro is badly damaged, and Ga-Koro sinks beneath the waves. Po-Koro and Ta-Koro are the only ones left Standing. Le-Koro is still intact, but for about a week is under the control of the Krana. -Once the Toa Collect all the Krana, they enter the nest similarly to the original story. They Receive their Exo-toa Armor and shed them as well. But as they combine their powers to trap the Bahrag, they find themselves teleported to the surface. They realize what has happened and begin to make their way back to the nest. We find Teridax in a frail body, exhausted from the mental effort of teleporting six toa a few miles away. The Bahrag are furious. They trigger the release of the Kal as a fail-safe. With one more Mental blast, Teridax shifts the landscape around the nests to hide the entrances. He collapses. For now. -The Kal reach the surface and challenge the Toa Mata. They easily Defeat the Mata and if it were not for the quick thinking of Pohatu, the Kal would have been victorious. The Toa retreat to Kini-nui. The Kal gather the swarms and begin to push across the Island. They destroy anything and anyone. -Artahka sits in his throne room and finishes his newest creations. six new powerful masks with a hidden secret in each. He teleports them to the Island of Mata-Nui and shares a vision of their power with Turaga Vakama. -Turaga Vakama shares his Vision of the Nuva Masks with the Toa Mata. Using their Golden Masks, the Toa Mata set off to find these Nuva masks, while the Matoran defend the villages. The Mata battle many Bohrok along their journey. -Each Toa finds their nuva mask, and when removing their golden mask and placing the Nuva Mask on, they are enveloped in a bubble of proterdermis that leaks out of each mask. The Golden mask changes back to their original color and singular power, then vanishes from sight. Each Mata mask finds themselves appearing before a matoran from each Koro: Matoro, hewki, Kongu, Jaller, hali, and Nuparu. The Matoran hide the masks where no one will find them. -The Toa find themselves changing into Toa Nuva. 6 Nuva Symbols appear in the Suva's of each Toa. The Toa soon find their powers have increased. -The Toa Nuva regroup to Challenge the Kal. With their new increased power, they defeat each Kal and destroy the krana that controls them. They then venture into the nest (having been found with the help of Kopaka's enhanced mask of vision) and finally seal away the Bahrag. The Krana become inactive, and the Bohrok fall still. -Six Bohrok Va 'manage to escape' the Toa Nuva and Matoran as they gather up all the Krana. They retreat into the catacombs beneath Mata-nui to where the Kal had originally come from. There, they retreave six new Krana Kal and return to the Bohrok Kal. -The Kal soon discover that the Nuva Symbols hold the key to releasing the Bahrag and the Nuva's powers (Through a little telepathy from Teridax). While the Nuva repair Kini-Nui, the Kal attack and steal the Nuva Symbols, robbing the Toa Nuva of their powers. While on their way to return to the Nest, Teridax interveins again. He places the image of the original Kanohi Mata and the idea of sealing away the Toa Nuva permanently into the minds the Kal, in order to exact revenge. The Kal split up and find the six Kanohi masks, while being pursued by the powerless Toa Nuva. They regroup outside Kini-nui and defeat the Toa Nuva. Kohrok-Kal almost kills Onua, but is stopped when reminded that "to be sealed away is a much worse fate than mearly death. Let Mata nui condemn their actions." Kopaka nuva is the only one to hear this before passing out. -When the toa come to, the Kal are gone. They locate the Nest and find the Bahrag. After defeating the Exo-Toa, the Bohrok enter the chamber of the Bahrag. There they find the Nuva Cube, and around it six slits where the Kanohi masks go. After placing the masks, they slide away to reveal 6 canister holes in the ground. The Kal sense the Toa Nuva's approach and move towards the cube to free the Bahrag. -The Toa nuva attempt to attack the Kal, but to no avail. A force Field appears around the Kal as they complete their mission. Kopaka eyes the six holes around the cube when a bolt of lightning flashes out and engulfs him. It drags him down into the hole where it seals shut with a echoing click. -Pohatu, Onua and Lewa fall victim to the same lightning bolts and are sealed away. As Tahu is being dragged down, Gali has made her way out of reach. Tahu Summons the Vahi and uses his last remaining strength to throw it to Gali. He instructs her to save the future and is sealed away. -The Kal finish their mission, the Bahrag are freed, and Gali feels her elemental powers completely disappear. She stares at the Vahi, and escapes the nest out into the harsh sunlight of Po-Wahi. She hears the echoing stomps of Bohrok behind her and knows what she must do. Placing the Vahi on her face, she turns back time and disappears into the past. -Gali finds herself watching the toa emerge from the Bohrok nest celebrating their initial defeat over the Kal. She sees her past self with her brothers. She activates her newly acquired mask of speed (found between the ending of the bohrok and the second coming of the Kal) and races towards Ga-Koro. -Gali comes across Turaga Nokama, and after convincing her of the alternate timeline, she shows Nokama the Vahi. Nokama believes her, as she knows that Tahu currently possess the mask of time. Gali informs her of the Kal being revived, finding their original Mata masks and stealing their nuva symbols. Nokama and Gali agreed that the Toa must find their Mata masks so that they wouldn't be sealed away, and let the Kal steal the nuva symbols in order to have the best chance of defeating them. Nokama gives Gali a familiar mask of stealth. "You must not be seen, but you must ensure the survival of the toa. But if they are successful, you will not exist." -Nokama approaches the Toa-Nuva and Turaga at Kini-nui and congratulates the toa. She reports that the stars have revealed their original masks have been reborn, and in order to ensure the continuation of Toa, the Nuva must set out to find them. (the Nuva are unaware that six matoran had received their Mata masks and hid them around the island for safe keeping) The other turaga are skeptical, but say nothing until the Toa have embarked. Nokama fills in her brothers on Future Gali's story, and the other turaga agree. Future Gali appears before the Turaga. All six turaga agree, that in order to defeat the Kal, the Nuva symbols will be the key. Future Gali agrees to follow the toa and provide assistance as needed. -The Kal again steal the Nuva Symbols, but find themselves too late from finding the original mata masks. The Nuva set off after the Kal to retrieve their symbols. Teridax, unknowing that the Nuva have retrieved their original masks, attempts to meddle and plants the thought of the masks into the minds of the Kal. When they find the location where Pohatu's mask had been, they find it to be gone. Angered, they continue to search for the Bahrag. -The Nuva and the Kal clash on the dunes of Po-Wahi. The Kal now have no reason to keep the toa alive, and before they can deliver a killing blow, Future Gali summons a tsunami to engulf the kal and sweep them away. Present Gali watches her future self approach before passing out. -Present Gali awakes to a strange looking version of herself. Future Gali keeps it brief, and tells her of her theory about how to use the symbols to defeat the Kal. As the other toa stir, she disappears heading back towards Ga-Wahi to await her fait. -The Nuva follow the Kal into the nest, where the Kal have defeated the Exo-Toa and are currently shielded around the Nuva Cube. Tahu activates the mask of time. Present Gali remembers what her future self told her, and encourages her brothers to reach out towards their symbols. The power turns out to be too much for the Kal and each fall to their own power. The Bahrag remain asleep and the Toa's power return. -Future Gali feels her body beginning to fade, the Vahi has already disappeared. more and more her body turns into swirling energy and soon their is nothing left except the mask of stealth resting on the great kanohi statue above Ga-Koro. -As the Nuva exit the Nest one last time, Gali sense a small swirl of energy "reconnect" with her. She suddenly feels a vision of Future Gali's fate, her adventure, and her destiny. She nods towards Tahu and replies "that mask, is more powerful than you realize brother." Tahu laughs and the Nuva head back towards their villages. The Nuva place their Mata masks into their Suva's and the Nuva symbol absorb the masks, turning into a replica of the Kanohi Nuva. Each Toa picks up their replica mask and places it onto their face, merging their old power with their new ones. A beam of light flys into the sky, heading towards the great volcano, where a particular stone totem awaits it's master to come and claim it. It absorbs the light from the Six Suvas and waits... -The Bohrok War is official over.
