    Maybe they WERE trying to work on spaceflight but Velika kept sabotaging their efforts. After all, from what I remember the Toa and Matoran were never supposed to leave the GSR, much less start exploring other worlds. Also you wouldn't want somebody crashing a rocket on the inside of the robot. Also I wonder if NickonAquaMagna is gonna chime in here, since this sounds like something in the realm of Nova Orbis.

    Being the rabid diehard Metru Nui fan-jaga that I am, yes I'm interested. I might not be able to help, but I'd love to see a new game.

    Cool, reminds me a lot of this: http://www.deviantart.com/art/Keetongu-561141833 (which is a compliment, btw) Anyway, nice job! I haven't seen Web of Shadows but I like this design. Especially the patterns on the speeder parts - it just makes it look like there's muscle and blood, like there's something alive underneath there. The parts already look biomechanical to begin with, but this is... in a different way. I like it. Can't wait to see what you come up with for a weapon.

    I actually got a knockoff Kualus once, but sadly it didn't come with a Darth Vader mask... the jealousy is strong with this one...

    Maybe the Ta-Matoran like the heat and the smoke they give off. They live in a volcano after all.

    Would it be possible to create the map in, say, Minecraft, then fly way above it and take a screenshot? Or turn on cheats in the RTS games you mentioned - after creating the world, get a full view of it somehow and take a picture. I ask only because I play Civilization 2 sometimes, it has lots of options for creating a world like the size of landmasses and climate, and I know it's possible to turn on cheats there to view the whole map at once.

    Wait a minute - Taipu's a Turaga, and so is Kopeke and Macku. In Nova Orbis, did the Chronicler's Company ever become a Toa team? 'Cause if they all did... well that'd be awesome. Kapura would kick so much butt.

    Maybe it's just a mask of breathing - it supplies you with constant oxygen. I actually have an idea it just supplies your cells with energy or ATP, making it unnecessary to breathe at all. Now somebody's gonna come up and say "THAT'S NOT CANON"...

    If this is the case I pity the Matoran that go and harvest it. On the other hand, since it's the Ta-Matoran making the candles, maybe they harvest the wax from fireflyers. Or maybe Hoto bugs. Either of those seem like much less of a risk than Nui-Rama.

    So THAT's where your avatar came from... =P My only critique thingy is the characters' lines could be faster, and they could nod their heads a little bit more. But that's just me. The new style of eyes on Tahu and Jaller's Haus (as opposed to having them filled in) felt kinda off to me at first. Then there was Tahu's 'oh snap' look and they redeemed themselves =P Vonderful goot work!

    Oh yes oh heck yes... Out of curiosity, was he inspired at all by Something Wicked This Way Comes? It took me a while to spot the kitten. Even a lord of darkness needs a cat =P Only suggestion coming to mind is I would flip the round bricks on the hat upside down, so the studs aren't sticking up. Either that or cover them with a round plate. Also, maybe use smoother pieces than the gold Piraka armor on his legs to keep the look of a suit. The Jaga approves of this development.

    Dang, that sniper rifle looks cool. I hope the barrel doesn't get in the way of the launcher, other than that... say, has anybody tried using those gun pieces with any of their MOCs? If I can find one of these on clearance or something, I think I'll get one to make something with the gun.

    You know, since he IS a robot now, he could do all sorts of crazy things with his limbs. Like stuffing swords into them. Then put on a trenchcoat and some sunglasses, go walking around the dark alleys of Metru Nui... "Hey Soran, how do you like your robot body's paint job?" "...I never asked for this..."

    On a semi-related note, I recall there being bootlegs made of the 2015 Toa, did those have any interesting parts or recolors?
