  1. I don't know if or when I'd ever use or need such a piece. I can't think of any dire need for such a thing being made.
  2. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ People just need to be a little more optimistic. All this doomsaying is tragic. Whatever do you mean by that?
  3. I already really like G2 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I guess it'd be nice to get more villagers, or have set designs with the level of refinement seen with the Star Wars figures. Otherwise though, I'm satisfied. No. They took up space, were difficult to dispose of, and cost more than cardboard, ergo likely allowing less room in the budget for the sets themselves. Recyclable cardboard canisters could be cool, but the box design we have does its job just fine, and can be flattened really easily if needed.
  4. REVAMP Skull Basher After reading the newest Bionicle novel, I got in the mood to build a skeleton… So I revamped Skull Basher with some newer parts! Front, Pose Front Back Pose, Wearing the Golden Mask of Earth Skeleton, Front
  5. I very, very much doubt that this is the case.
  6. It's all a Mata of taste. I Nui was gonna do that. I'm going to crack my head open on a rock.
  7. Have you read the books or graphic novels at all? They go into a lot more detail with the story than the webisodes and JtO have done. If you haven't, I must say that your pessimism is misplaced.
  8. Hey guys! The overall opinion of G2 Bionicle across the fanbase is rather divided, so I thought it'd be interesting to make a Strawpoll to try and gauge what people from multiple communities (Facebook, Eurobricks, BZPower, The TTV Forums, Flickr) feel about the line. The poll is as displayed; To submit your answer, click here. If you don't wish to answer (or already have) and wish to view the results, click here. Once you've answered, please feel free to share the poll elsewhere to help get a larger sample size. Thanks!
  9. Thanks for your comments guys, much appreciated! That was how it was portrayed in the original set, so that's how I made it. I didn't actually know it was an actual tentacle until I was only recently told as such.
  10. I hate that people think this is a thing.
  11. Wow, thanks for featuring this on the front page! I'm flattered
  12. I just want to bring this in from another thread. TL;DR - Stop worrying about Bionicle dying.
  13. Excellent post. Everyone please read this and stop worrying so much.
  14. I'm not saying I didn't want the golden mask hunting at all, but that I don't want to see it happen again, for the exact same reason why you think the Nuva mask hunt in G1 was silly.
  15. All varieties of Vahki have the innate ability to fly, much like Krekka and Nidhiki can in Bionicle 2: Legends of Metru Nui.
  16. I don't necessarily agree with all your points, but this. THIS. I'm almost 100% convinced we'll get another mask hunt next year, and I'm really not looking forward to that. I didn't mind it that much in G1, given that we had a wide variation of masks, but now the unreasonable amount of golden masks is slowly starting to bother me... -Iben Yeah, it'd be much better if (if the next versions of the Toa get golden masks) they represented powered-up versions of their masks as opposed to separate masks.
  17. I'm pretty satisfied with G2 as it is. There are a couple of things I'd like to see though... A little more story material. Not much, mind, just something that goes into a little more depth about Okoto and Okotan culture/history - A guidebook to Okoto, maybe? No more easter egg hunts for golden Toa masks. If this trope continues next year, I swear to god...More cohesive set designs in 2017. I personally feel that this is a given, as to me 2016 is to Bionicle what 2011 was to Hero Factory - an experimental transition.More individual, intelligent baddies. Umarak was awesome, and I'd love to meet more characters like him - maybe even a team of 'em.No Sci-Fi evolution. Blasters and vehicles are fine, but they should stay in the science fantasy theme that's already established.A McGuffin other than a mask would be interesting - Say, a mighty shield or sword. No attachment to G1 (except references). No ditching gear mechanisms. Less/no greeblebombing.
  18. Look who arrived on Saturday! But wait, there's more! I've already been fiddling around with modding my duplicate Storm Beast to my specifications. I'll take photos when he's fixed up EDIT: The full range is now available on S@H! I've just ordered UtD (and a Power Functions motor)
  19. I'm just hoping they tone down on the greebles. Otherwise I'm open.
