20,000 words is roughly 70 pages, assuming that 50,000 is 175. I think that statistic is off though, I normally have about 500 words a page, putting it only at 40.

EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it. The normal-sized Bionicle books are each 20,000 words-ish.

Well, the goal is to write 20,000 words or more, so I don't think we really need different categories. Someone could make it their personal goal to write 40,000 words, for example, just like some people end up writing double the amount of words for NaNoWriMo. They'd all have completed the task.

Playing Portal with a trackpad that only has one button.. not as fun as first thought.

You can go into the settings and set it up so that there are actually two buttons. There's no visual distinction, but hitting the right side does the same thing as hitting the right button on a dual-button mouse.

I'll just copypasta what I said in my blog, since we really share the same views:

I'm getting really sick of this "In A Line" fad. I just counted. Of the 26 topics on the first page (excluding the pinned ones): 1 was off-topic; 2 were "In A Haiku" topics; only 6 were regular topics; and a whopping 16 were "In A Line" topics. That's pretty annoying, to a person who goes to GD to voice my opinions and talk (...err, type) about things rather than simply making little responses to boost my post-count. I've been ignoring them for a long time now, like I do with all fads, because, personally, I think they're pretty stupid, but going there and seeing this makes me want to avoid the GD in general...
