Sorry, Omi. Maybe you and KIE ought to make T-shirts like Chocolate Frogs did-- it would make you easier to recognise.
My dad really isn't a Bionicle fan, although he likes the special effects in WOS, from what he's seen of it.
Anyway, I wasn't even a member when I went to Brickfest, therefore I couldn't vote in BBC38, and Lyichir had hardly made a name for himself. I doubt anyone would have even known about us back then.
Anyway, it was great meeting you, CF, and I look forward to seeing you and other members at other events.

The tutorial sounds fantastic! I hope you finish the request list you have soon-- then you can take a reprieve, and by the time you feel like taking requests I may have changed my name to something with an identity that Lyichir doesn't govern.
But anyway, take your time on that artwork, and I will continue to review it whenever possible.

It might not be. Remember "Harry Potter and the Deathspell Challenge?" They changed that to "Goblet of Fire." Likewise, Americans were introduced with "Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone," as opposed to the original "Philosopher's Stone."

I try to keep my little brother from putting LEGO pieces in his mouth. Please don't encourage him.
(I kid . He doesn't even go to BZPower as a guest most of the time.)
Off-topic: Who's the dude pictured in your Bio? That's not really you, is it?
Again, I kid .

NO more "x=(-b+or-sqrt(b^2-4ac))/2a"?
Welcome back to pronouncable names.
The Quadratic Formula isn't hard to pronounce.
Is too.
Well, welcome back.
-CK
Is not. Not after your algebra teacher forces you to memorize it in the sixth grade. "Opposite of B plus or minus the square root of B squared minus four AC all over two A."
Glad you're back though. Etcetere is much easier to type, no matter how easy the quadratic formula is to pronounce.

I agree with Etcetere. Avoid using AIM to communicate with people you don't know personally, like your mom says, and she'll be more likely to trust you on BZPower. Please take this advice. We don't want to have to see you go.

"Coactus est" means "He/she/it has been compelled." It is from "Cogo, cogere, coegi, coactum," and means to collect or compel. I take Latin too, you know.
I'm a major Latin enthusiast. I have translated an episode of Spongebob into Latin, and am now working on the song American Pie
I wish I kept track of the words I learned... I'm a big word enthusiast as well. Have you read A Series of Unfortunate Events? That's full of complex vocabulary and terminology, which Snicket defines as you come across it. It sounds like something you'd find in a book for young kids, but it's actually really awesome.

Take KIE's advice, Lady K. It's the best I can think of. Also, I would advise that you let your parents watch you sometime while you're online. I'm sure they'll trust you more once they see that your not posting major personal info or info threatening to your safety (unless you are, in which case I would advise you to stop ). Also, I'd advise you to introduce them to any members you know personally in real life (if there are any) and ask them to vouch for the site's safety. If you communicate with members by other means, of course, I'd advise you to keep yourself limited to posting and PMing. My parents would certainly trust me better if they know I'm communicating with members using a well-moderated site.
However, even if your parents do keep you from communicating with us BZPers, keep tabs on the site. We'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
I've updated my art topic, by the way. I hope you like my latest work.
With all due respect,
Aanchir: Rachira of Time

I get Reader's Digest, and have read that article. I feel your pain... it sounds pretty harsh.
BTW, I like that song as well.

MAKE CHIBIADE!
Actually, that sounds cruel. Forget I ever said that.
There's Raka.. and Angry Nid...
Please forgive my ignorance, but who's the dude in the middle?
Someday I'll get Lyichir to get a picture of Aanchir up so you can draw me! (Aanchir was his idea)

Glad to know you'll be posting new art soon. I drew the Barraki recently (check them out soon), and I can't wait to see how you draw them, although I know you specialize in Toa and Matoran mostly.
Good luck on finding the artist to that song. Even by zooming in on the credits I couldn't read them well.

Aye! Tufi's no cat! Take them offendin' pictures down before she makes ye walk the plank!

Thanks for the advice, GMan. I know this is a good method, but I often forget when people make valid (or embarrassingly invalid) complaints about my artwork, and I feel the urge to explain my reasoning or agree to theirs. Any other advice will be accepted as well.
Also, could someone please post a review of my artwork in the topic? I don't want to sound rude by asking for posts, but I have more art to upload and I want to take GMan's advice this time.

So, does cerebral ostrich exist, or is that just scientific speculation?
Just wondering...

Jaguaffs sound good, as does the Wombat Glove, and Soaun and Souforth (great names!).
Pwease give us more Ip, nice Mr. Etcetere.

This is great! You should write short stories more often! BTW, did you get the PM I sent you for Christmas? Sorry to be intrusive, but I want to make sure it didn't get deleted.

Hi, Saturns ! Do you understand me? Forgive me, I don't speak Saturn, and I don't have the curly letters. Sorry for making you barfy-barfy .

I would love to be able to call a BZP member. Unfortunately, I am still relatively new and not-yet-well-acquainted with any BZPower members (except those who frequent my blog, my art topics, and Frost Rising, and I haven't updated any of the above in a long time. Many people may not even be aware I'm still here, seeing as I failed to enter BBC40. Of course, if you are reading this, you know I am here, and that makes me happy . But forgive me, I'm rambling.)
Lady K, I hope you won't get in any trouble later on that keeps you from us at BZP. However, if you do, we'll remember you when you return. And above all, don't listen to Omi. He lies!

I'm jealous. I've never come up with such an in-depth language, particularly when I have to work with preexisting words.

Hooray for Chick-Fil-A! Must be a great place to get a job.
Most people up north (e.g. New York) haven't heard of Chick-Fil-A. It makes me sad.

I don't know my resolution, but my computer's is 1280 by 800! Rock on!

I've wondered about that, since Bricklink DOES have forums, but is often mentioned anyway. Maybe it's an exception, like lego.com.
Anyway, uhhhh..........temperance ? I really don't know what those colors could be used for.

I said those colours aren't for the contest. They're for something else.

A romance story for Valentines Day... I ought to get started on one as well.
Anyway, don't feel rushed. If you need ideas, though, I recommend doing a songfic, and starting with the song. That way you start with a "frame" around which to write your story. All of my short stories are songfics.
