  1. Some new Bionicle sets have yet more colors. Beside it, I made him from 10 HF sets and Captain America, so I don't have too much black and red parts, it really take me some time to make him look good. And he have about 39 cm. I figured that was why there were so many colors. You did a good job working with the the colors you had. Knowing the size makes it seem even more impressive, since that is a fairly tall MOC.
  2. That looks pretty impressive. How tall is it? None of the pictures really give a good sense of scale. Using the Glatorian heads for the eyes is pretty cool. The rest of the detailing is also really well done. My only complaint is that there just seems to be too many different colors and it leads to it seeming at little too busy. Other than that, though, it is an extremely well done and impressive MOC.
  3. I didn't realize that the head was made from system bricks and not just the standard Bionicle head. The rest of the body seems pretty ordinary, but that head is something I haven't seen before. The neck seems like it's a little too long, but I don't think there is anything you can do about it. The color scheme also appears to everywhere, but the back story does a good job of explaining it. It does make him seem a lot more battle worn. Very good job with this Toa.
  4. That is definitely interesting look MOC. The orange beard jumps out right away. I've never seen a piece used like that to give a Bionicle a beard. Is there a purpose for the launcher mounted next to his head? It seems like the hips are a little too wide. I would try to narrow them if possible, unless you need that big to accommodate the feet. Nice job on a very interesting MOC.
  5. I like it. It's very unique and it looks very other worldly. I'm not sure if that's how I would envision a Seraph, but I think it works. My only complaint is the grey wheel hub in the center. I don't think that one piece of grey goes well with the rest of the white. I suppose that's not a part that comes in white though, so there's not much that can be done about it.
  6. I'll break this post up for the three different ships. The Tub The tub is my favorite of the three. The front looks a little weird because there is only one orange slope. Other than that, the rest of the color scheme works. It looks fairly fast and I can see it zooming back and forth through the air. The access for the pilot seat is kind of cool. Most ships would just have the windshield pop up to open. This is the first time I've seen the whole cockpit drop down. Republic E-Wing Fighter The color scheme on this one is pretty nice. It doesn't seem like it's quite as finished as the Tub though. Just having that plain white section in the middle of the back seems weird. The front section looks good though, it looks pretty sleek. The Ensign Comet This one looks good, although the color scheme is kind of plain. I'm not a big fan of the white and light grey. I like how the rest of it looks though. Using the round pieces as part of the hull is an interesting parts usage. Overall I think you did a pretty good job on these. Thanks for sharing.
  7. I agree with The Irrational Rock, the positioning of the legs and the neck make it look pretty realistic. You did a good job adding a lot more curves to this version. It seems a lot more finished than the previous version you started with. Overall a very nice job!
  8. I don't think that would be too difficult with some of the older sets, but with the way they keep coming put with new molds, it may be more difficult to keep doing with newer sets. I've never done this although I remeber thinking about it the past. The only problem was that I didn't have a good place to use the computer and work with my LEGO collection.
  9. Both of these are really good. The skeleton dragon is pretty impressive. I think you did a nice job with your sigfig he looks preffy imposing with all of the armor. I like how you tied it into LEGO Universe with the 1x1 clear tile. That's a nice addition that gives it a little more depth. You did a really nice job with the skeleton dragon. I think my only complaint with it is that the legs look a little too thin compared to the rest of the model. It's a skeleton though, so there probably isn't a way to add anything more to them with moving away from the skeleton feel. The wings look pretty nice as well. I'm looking forward to seeing the real life pictures of this, since I'm guess it looks even more impressive in person. Good job on both of these!
  10. I kind of took a long time to get here and it wasn't really because of Bioncle. I only found BZPower because I was a member of iBricks (long dead) and BZPower was one of the few forums that iBricks had white listed for linking to. I didn't join right away because I felt BZPower was just way too big. A lot of people didn't have the highest opinion of BZPower as well. I did eventually join in 2009, but I didn't really become active until a year or two later.
  11. I have a few battle droids, along with a number of storm troopers. I don't really have clones though. Most of my stuff is also pretty old since I stopped buying LEGO Star Wars after they switched to the flesh tones. I only have a couple of sets after that that I recieved as gifts.
  12. My Favorite tribe is the Glorp Corp. I think they look the coolest and they're pretty cute. Really though, all of them are cute.
  13. I like it. I think the upper part of the torso might be a little bit to big compared with the waist. When I envision Lewa, I don't see him with a ton of armor though. It seems to work though, since makes him seem stronger. The color scheme also looks pretty good. You did a nice job of blending the two shades of green. Good Job!
  14. That was a pretty fun little short. Good thing I've already read the book, so I don't have to worry about spoiling anything.
  15. I don't know anything about the game, but these minifigs look pretty cool. The decals seem to work pretty well in the picture, since I would have assumed the bodies were printed if you hadn't told me otherwise. Maybe it's more noticeable in person, but it still looks good either way. Very nice job!
  16. All of these are really good. I think my favorite is Keetongu, although I'm also partial to the Rahi from the beginning of Bionicle. You made a good choice using the beetle piece as the micro masks. It seems to work pretty well.
  17. I like the way this looks, although I wish you had a picture of the of the whole thing looking towards the front and top. It definitely looks it's pretty powerful. I also like the use of SNOT on the front. It works really well for in the MOC. Are the wheels on the bottom there for another cannon or are they just decoration?
  18. As far I remember there weren't any Bionicle related weapons in LEGO Universe.
  19. I like it. You did a nice job adding variety to the front face of the building mixing in a few different colors along with the round elements. It adds some visual interest. The way the roofs were set up is also interesting. Being able to open them up and closed seems like something as official LEGO would have. Also, for future MOCs it might be nice to have some pictures to look at as well as the video. They would give a general idea of what the MOC as a whole looks like. The video was nice though, as it did convey some features that might have gotten missed with just pictures.
  20. I love this MOC and your description to go with it is also perfect. I think the flames work even if they are a different color than the rest of the MOC.
  21. I had to go look up what Mixels were last night since I hadn't heard of them. I guess I've been out of the loop for a while. That being said, these seem to do a good job of capturing the essence of what the Mixels are. Out of the Squrmisites Doon is my favorite. Overall though, I think Schnozet has to be my favorite. The droopy snout is kind of cute and it reminds me of something else, although I can't place it right now.
  22. I'm pretty sure my first LEGO set was 6713 The Grip-N-Go Challenge. Amazon. The other option was that I got a creator bucket first which happened around the same time, but I'm pretty it was the Grip-N-Go set. That was a really fun set back in the day.
  23. I will generally recycle most of the set packaging. I kept the Toa canisters for the longest time, but they were just taking up too much room and I didn't really need them so they got recycled. I still have a few of the boxes sets came in because they were convenient for helping to sort and store pieces.
  24. It looks kind of cute and feisty. I really like the flame pieces with the wings as they match the rest of the color scheme really well. You might consider adding a single plate under the dark red cheese slopes on the top of the snout. That would help make the transition from the red curved slopes a little less abrupt, unless that's what you were aiming for. Overall it's a very nice look MOC.
  25. I played for part of the time that it was active. I originally purchased a subscription when it first came out, but then I got busy with other things and stopped playing. After Crux Prime came out I finally renewed and pretty much played until the end after that. I don't remember if I got all of the missions completed, but it was a pretty fun game, even if the subscription prices were a little high.
