  1. Pretty good! Definitely fits the term of "sketch," but well done for something so quick! And he's smirking...
  2. Putting aside all the stuff like the Red Star's lightning creating the Inika, yeah, all you'd need is a Toa Stone, which are charged with Toa Energy, for a Matoran to become a Toa. Of course, other external factor's like one's ultimate destiny come into play in determining whether or not one would ever be destined to even come into such circumstances and become a Toa.
  3. I'd bet it was a new creature. A transformed Fenrakk, yeah, but definitely an entirely new form.
  4. Well, they certainly had some very advanced civil technology that helped them get around and aided the city's function, which I imagine included some sort of computer-like technology, but not some of the recreational stuff like that we would use.
  5. I can definitely see where you're coming from, but we'll just have to see what it turns out to be.
  6. I'm sure they have some way of healing, and many beings have healing powers to help with that, but I'm sure, given that all Metru Nui Matoran were at some point "re-built," it can be assumed that some severe damage can be reversed with some "repairs."
  7. Well, when they lived in the Matoran Universe, keep in mind all such cosmological things were regulated by Mata Nui, and the length of a Matoran Universe year was likely based off of the length of a Spherus Magna year, so there was likely no discrepancies for Matoran Universe inhabitants upon their migration. And yeah, I'm pretty sure Mr. Farshtey made that just as long as an Earth year just for convenience.
  8. Wasn't there something in the storyline about Fenrakk absorbing energy from any attack or force thrown against him to make him stronger? I think there was... If so I imagine falling into lava would give one with such powers a lot of energy to absorb, likely triggering the transformation.
  9. Definitely Nidhiki. Mainly because he was wicked scary, and he had an awesome set, but also because of the back-story he had that we saw in "Birth of a Dark Hunter." I mean, you wouldn't have guessed it, and you really had to feel sorry for him.
  10. A very interesting mechanical take on the old sets! And Jaller reminds me of the first MNOLG. Very nice work!
  11. Especially fond of Jaller and Vakama! Reminds me of the old '01 comics!!
  12. Very nice work! Perfectly shaped, and looks exactly like an actual set!
  13. When HF was just being released, Bionicle was actually indirectly referenced a couple of times on the HF site! :)Although it would be great to see more of those, yeah!
  14. Sometimes I do kick myself for not jumping on the opportunity to get him. Quite a great set. So...much....glow in the dark!!
  15. To be perfectly honest, I do too. Don't get me wrong, I still love BZP, but I feel like it's now a shadow of what it used to be. I consider my first couple years here something of a Golden Age...Anyway, that, and the storyline. I remember missing the MNOLG Flash animations after they stopped doing them. I just miss how great and in-depth the story was. It had me hooked and was a major part of my childhood.Agreed. Funnily enough, I use the same term to describe such a time. For me, the Golden Age of the online Bionicle community was between '06 and '09, when the storyline began to hit its climax.
  16. Looks fantastic! A great rendition of Vakama's original '01 set design!
  17. Of course they can. It all depends on the Kanoka disks (different, of course, for special masks like the Avohkii) from which they are made.
  18. Lewa and Onua (what with Onua always saving Lewa and such) and the interesting relationship between Pohatu and Kopaka that became evident in the very first comic. They fit together quite well. ^^
  19. My favorites were the Bohrok-Kal (SHINEH CHROME!! ) and the Rahkshi, mainly for their menacing look and unique powers.
  20. Very nice job filling in with the armor! No visible gaps whatsoever!!
  21. Definitely one of my favorites for this competition so far! Looks exactly like the MoL rendition!!
  22. Nice! I do remember this, and I'll definitely find it useful now!
  23. Other than the life-size Hakann model, this is probably one of the most impressive System creations I've ever seen!
  24. Only for the really large sets I go bag by bag, but for most others I just dump all of the pieces out on the table at once. Just dumping out all those pieces at once feels so good!!1! 8D Makes searching for tiny pieces more fun, too.
