  1. Boring? Far from it! I loved the Bionicle villains, especially those who weren't totally evil, but like antiheroes. Like Teridax - he had so much deep background! And the Rahkshi! Vicious!
  2. Maybe click "Follow Topic" again to un-follow it, or check your username in the top right of the screen (on a computer) where all the links to your profile information show up, and click "Content I Follow." A way to unfollow it should likely be there.
  3. Yeah, I definitely can agree with the omission of the Bara Magna storyline, given the eventual return of the Ignika for a final triumph. Stayed to far away from the root of the story at some points for me.
  4. Yeah. Being the grammar and punctuation freak that I am. :lol:But, yeah, searching for a particular topic did get toilsome that way.
  5. Mel Gibson! Probably as some Toa of Fire or the like.
  6. Even if minor language discrepancies did exist, keep in mine that any prominent diplomatic figure wearing a Kanohi Rau (i.e. Nokama) could easily solve such a misunderstanding.
  7. I did wonder about that. But if it did cast a shadow, I imagine it would have been used as a giveaway for a Huna user at some point. Sounds like a good question for Mr. Farshtey.
  8. Yeah, especially for the Toa Terrain Crawler. Other than that, it was just a set idea. Likely had some sort of story role otherwise.
  9. Came online in late '08. Those were good times, man. And now I'm still on, and things are different. Not worse, just different, you know? Mainly cause of the absence of the line.
  10. I hope so. I've always wanted to get back into those. But I'm not entirely sure.
  11. Pretty good! Looks exactly like the set.
  12. The Crast and the Hau kind of do, in how they are used for defensive purposes.
  13. Sweet! I'm glad it isn't made of actual Lego bricks, or I could never bring myself to drive across something like that.
  14. In bionicle 2: LoMN, the toa metru left metru nui and past the great barrier which exits the robot mata nui and discovered the island of mata nui, which covered his robot face.Well, we of course know all about that now, but back then, it was a mystery to its residents.
  15. Seems like that mystery which lies "beyond" is simply the end of the Matoran Universe, being at its southernmost region. Exactly how what lied beyond the Great Barrier near Metru Nui was a mystery.
  16. Sweet! About time they released some of those!
  17. Well, that's one way to start a career! Good for him!
  18. The "old language" theorem and related language theorem may stand. I bet they're very closely related, with Matoran just designed a little differently. Possibly different "dialects," like standard Matoran and Chutespeak. Or maybe it's something like the relationship between Spanish-Portugese and Spanish-Italian linguistic relations. The two languages are so similar that the speakers of each language can understand each other to a certain degree. Either way, if they were able to communicate well, then the languages must be only infinitesimally different.
  19. You know, I've actually thought about that before. For many characters, it actually makes sense!
  20. Yeah, I can definitely agree with those! I really should get started with the collectible minifigs...
  21. Also very true. In attempting to emulate a Toa, he would have followed the Toa Code.
