  1. Theoretically yes. But they don't because of the Toa code. But thats why the makuta eliminated them all just in case,
  2. Well, considering that most bionicle characters have been alive for over 100,000 years, and are not suffering from any signs of old age (except maybe achar, but he is really old. Gresh is over 100,000 years old and is consitered young!), immortality seems a moot point.
  3. So this is basically my attempt to make a Mctoran using ccbs. Here back The one on the right uses balls on a technic beam, making for good proportions, but would be rather fragile in real life. The one on the left uses an HF tiny body, and has clips to store the dagger. I tried giving him a red trident, but that looked iffy, so I gave him a MOL style dagger. The left one has 18 pieces, and the right one has 25 pieces. Edit: Image linked; please keep posted images in BBC to 100 kB, about! -Wind-
  4. So... an asymetric avtoran with broken joints and the stupidest looking weapons I have ever seen? Not to mention wide spread knowledge of the leaked sets, this is a really poor fake. Mixing avtoran parts with ccbs may have made it more convincing, but your trolling efforts are pretty fruitless.
  5. Upon closer examination of my glittery avohkii, I noticed that the glitter is only on the front, and chipped in a few places. It appears some sort of glittery paint or epoxy was applied to it. It still looks good though, and the chipping is probably cause my childhood brain loved to use that mask on everything.
  6. Yes, they were made by lego. But someone slipped by their non-confidality policy. Hence why they are called "leaks"
  7. If it is not publicly released by Lego itself, then it is leaked, no matter how finalized/high quality/awesome looking they are. Leaks or not, the sets probably won't be available until the end of the year, so learn some patience! (Unless you have a vahi, in which case, please speed it up for all of us!)
  8. Congrats! Your epic artwork put my Moc to shame. Good luck in the next contest everyone!
  9. Not to mention Makuta are the most absurdly OP species in all of the bionicle lore.
  10. Ok, so here is my theory as to the storyline. A mythic godlike being showed up ( lets call him artakha) and used the mask of creation to create a beautiful island paradise. He then vanished, hiding his mask somewhere. Then an evil guy, jealous of artakhas creation, comes along and wants to use the mask to reshape the world. Cue toa, they get the mask first, good guys win. There, just flesh that out and you have bionicle 2.0
  11. Can't answer 1 and 2, but: 3. It certainly is made of a softer plastic than the golden plastic. Not as flexable as rubber pieces, but not as hard as the silver plastic used for weapons. 4. Nope. It seems to be fully in the plastic. Looks quite nifty. 5. They are a bit harder than the kraata, though it may simply be due to the fact that they are thicker. They can't really fold in half like the kraata can or anything. Pretty sturdy little things. 6. Not at all I'm afraid. The back of the krana has contours that fit perfectly on a voodoo head.
  12. Er, are you talking about the ones present in the set? Because Makuta had those too. And they are just hands that happen to use that part in the set.
  13. Not sure if it is intentional or what, But I voted in both polls, but only the results of fall are viewable. Autumn's results are hidden.
  14. Honestly, the whole shadow toa thing made no sense to me. Thing is, there are two possibilities. If they were created by makuta, then of course the toa fight them like in the book. But if they were the toa's dark sides seperated from them, then wouldn't it make sense for the toa NOT to reabsorb them? Wouldn't makuta just be doing them a favor by seperating all the bad traints and by extention giving them light powers as shown in 2008? Then the battle goes just like in the book. As such, in my headcannon, the shadow toa are skipped, and we go right to the fight with makuta.
  15. With it no longer on the lego site, where can I play breakout? Is it just gone entirely?
  16. Honestly, The primary issue with the Kaita is that they are clearly stronger than their component beings. This means that it would almost always be benefical to use them during big battles. As such, the deus de machina factor would get pretty old, pretty quick. I'm fine with their use against the manas, but other wise, I'm fine with their mostly non-presence in the story. Wairua Nuva's appearance was rather nifty, being an attemt to overcome the power loss, and the Matoran Nui appeared twice, once superfluously, and once actually usefully. The whole comic with the rahkshi kaita seemed pretty shoed in and rather pointless. Makuta are op as is, we don't need hundreds of different rahkshi kaita with unique abilities. Besides, have you seen the combo models in later years? I'm glad it was only important 01-03. coughcoughPrododaxcoughcough
  17. Yep, if three Toa have enough willpower and willingness to work together, they can combine their forms into a Kaita. Also, I hate to tell you, but there is a canon mask that is very similer to this in terms of power, the mask of fusion.
  18. Nice representation of Artakha. My main complaint however are the jarring red pins and less jarring silver piston. As you know, Ldd extended mode allows for any colors, and that should include pins, and really, any parts. Also, the torso doesn't really seem to flow with the rest of the Moc. kutgw
  19. 1. Kraata are created as level one, and over time "grow up" to level six, with a rare few evolving into level seven shadow kraata. As for the second part, there would not be much point to "The plan" if there is a simpler equally effective plan that also prevents unexpected rebellion after completion. 2. Well, Guurahk and Paarahk were able to compromise the cave's integrity with their powers, so presumably it isn't made of mata-nui rock. 3. The first three Rahkshi weren't like that though. Poison, fragmentation, and disintegration seemed mostly just powerful and destructive.
  20. ...then just take a look at the list of level 6 kraata powers. I mean, seriously? Nearly any of the level six kraata could diable a toa nuva fairly easily, and the ease with which they could infect matoran is almost ridiculous. My three questions are this. 1. Level six kraata are said to be highly intellegent, and can directly communicate with Makuta. Why did Teridax not use these things to quickly and easily dominate the matoran? I realize he was just biding his time, but wouldn't it have been so much simpler to infect all of the matoran, and get them to do exactly what he wanted? A simple but effective method would simply be to send a level 6 sleep kraata, and a level six elasticity kraata to each village to disable and infect all the matoran rather easily. 2. How the heck did the turaga manage to capture all those kraata? I know turaga are smart, but how would they manage to catch any of the more powerful ones? Even all six turaga working together would stand no chance against many of the level six kraata. Even if they used traps, many of the kraata are adept at burrowing, or otherwise escaping from such traps. Even if pinning a kraata somehow can restrain their power, there are kraata like plasma and molecular disruption which are literally surrounded by an aura of destruction. Also, as a side note, how did Tahu and Kopaka manage to trap the kraata in the cave, when there are so many types of kraata that could destroy the barriers rather easily given enough time? 3. Why were Makuta's six elite rahkshi rather pathetic compared to their level six kraata versions? For example, kraata of fear and anger have powerful auras, but their rahkshi versions have to actually hit the target with energy. Seeing as the rahkshi's main advantage is size and physical strength, would it not make more sense to send rahkshi with defensive abilities like quick healing, limited invulnerability, or ice resistance, while backing them up with powerful kraata like chain lightning, darkness, or confusion?
  21. This is the Kanohi Cyrus, a unique mask created when the three legendary masks are fused. Along with granting its wearer with power over time, life, and creation, the mask of reality gives its bearer elemental control over all forms of matter and energy, allowing the user to change reality around them as they wish.

  25. In Ninja Deep Sea Assault, you play as one of the ninjas piloting a dragon sub in an attempt to destroy a terrific sea monster that has been destroying local ships. The game opens as they find the creature's lair, and they must make their way through and defeat the monster. The game is a side scrolling shooter which takes place in an abyssal trench. The goal is to guide the ninja's dragon sub through the tunnel without being destroyed by the walls, stalactites, or various enemies. The game's visual style looks like it is taking place on parchment, with the backgrounds and objects being watercolor paintings. The controls are simple, with WASD or arrow keys guiding the sub, and the space bar to fire your sub's gun. The sub can move in all four directions, and the gun fires opposite the direction in which the stage is currently scrolling. The abyssal tunnel starts out pretty straight downward, but it soon starts to bend in all sorts of directions, and the stage will scroll in the corresponding direction. It can be thick or thin at points, and deadly stalagmites are everywhere. The sub takes damage if it hits a wall, enemy, or projectile. The sub can only take five hits before being destroyed. If destroyed, the game goes back to the menu, where the player can try again either at the beginning, or checkpoints after each boss. The player can choose to play as all five ninjas, each offering slightly different advantages. Kai: Sub cannon's rate of fire and projectile velocity are lightly boosted.Cole: Sub can take seven hits before losing.Jay: Sub is significantly faster.Zane: Sub cannon is more accurate, with the projectiles being fired more towards enemies by about three degrees.Lloyd: Unlocked after beating the game once, Lloyd has the combined abilities of the four other ninjas. Defeated enemies may drop power ups, which amplify the sub's main cannon. Up to seven of a power up type can be collected to maximize power. Collecting a power up of a different type will reset the cannon to just one of the new power up. Spread shot: Each level adds one bullet to the cannons shot. The bullets are evenly spread over a thirty degree arc, and at level seven will have eight bullets per shot.Slow shot: The slow shot has a decreased rate of fire, but the bullet is bigger, and can pierce through unlimited enemies. Each level makes the bullet bigger, and fire faster. At level seven it's fire rate is equal to the basic cannon, and the bullet is as big as the sub. These bullets also do higher damage to bosses.Dragon breath: Replaces the cannon with a short range flamethrower attack. Strong, but bosses are highly resistant to it. Higher levels increase the range and increase effectiveness on bosses.Repair kit: Pick it up to restore one hit point to your sub. The main part of the game mostly features eels as enemies. They are destroyed in one hit, and do one damage to the sub if they make contact. Electric eel: Slow yellow eel that simply moves forward.Venom eel: Faster green eel that erratically swerves as it moves forward.Moray eel: Slow grey eel that mores directly towards the sub. Less common than the other two.Angler fish: Slow fish that is bigger than the eels, the angler takes three shots to destroy.Sea dragon: A seahorse creature that will maintain a far distance from the sub and shoot small fireballs at the sub. Destroyed in five hits. Periodically, the dragon sub will encounter a boss. When this happens, the stage will stop scrolling, and the boss must be defeated to proceed. They are all fought in large horizontal rooms. Each boss also unlocks a checkpoint at the main menu. Angler shark: The first boss. It is a huge cross between an angler fish and a goblin shark. It can sporadically fire lasers from its lure, and it will periodically attempt to charge at the sub, opening its mouth to indicate it is about to do so. It has a large amount of health, but shooting its mouth when it is open will do massive damage.Abyssal Hydra: A large three headed snake, the Hydra will shoot bolts of water energy at the sub from all three heads while weaving about in an attempt to dodge. With each head defeated, it will shoot faster, and move quicker.Taraka Dragon: A massive Tarakava like dragon, this beast is fought at the end of the tunnel, in a big chamber filled with wreaked boats and treasure. Reading its attacks is key to defeating it. If it primes its left arm, it will unleash a punch to the lower half of the screen. If it primes its right arm, it will attack the top half. It also has a charge move where it will lower its head, and surge through the middle of the screen, the only safe spots being the very top and bottom. In addition, it will shoot bolts of water energy from its mouth. Upon defeating the Taraka Dragon, the player has won, the seas are once again safe, and Lloyd is unlocked. Additionally, two bonus game modes are unlocked. Endless: Simply the main portion of the game, but endless for high scores.Boss rush: Fight all three bosses at once and compete for the best time.
