  1. My entry for the Ninjas in space contest https://www.flickr.com/photos/127064766@N02/sets/72157647245096480/ Yep. Its the Black Ninja in a dragon sub fighting a Tarakava dragon at the bottom of the ocean.
  2. Quick Question, I have finished my MOC, but I need a quick rule clarification. If I have a ninja vehicle and an enemy that would fight in a distinct location, does that work? Also, is BBC and SBC together in one category? My MOC is quite hybrid, so I would be unsure which to enter under. 3. You forgot Dume! Ok, I know the set Dume wasn't technically the real Dume, but still. I think the lack of a lot of Turaga actually helped the story, as it kept the turaga as Wise and Important charactors. If we got new turaga every year, it would get old really quickly. I think the main seven turaga, and the couple of non-set turaga (like lihkan, jovan, and implied leaders of the various matoran settlements) were enough.
  4. Now, according to the article, some odd stuff happened to them, including several talks with Makuta himself. But if they were mentioned in bionicle world, does that mean the events of the game are canon?
  5. There was a little choose your own adventure game on maskoflight.com to promote Bionicle mask of light, It featured generic Matoran 1 and generic Matoran 2, on their quest to find a place safe from Makuta. They get into various shenanigans, meet a bunch of main characters, and somehow end up in Mangaia. The full details can be found here.
  6. Well, in 03, hafu was released, so if you have the right mask, taipu should be easy at least.
  7. 1. Takua, having finally figured out his destiny, knew it was his duty to face makuta. The toa of light was prophesied as the only one who could defeat makuta. He didn't think to himself about power levels and elemental match ups, he simply realized what he had to do, and he went and did it. He was confident that destiny would be his guide. Plus, with the scene at Jallers shrine, it is possable that some time has passed, and he has done some training beforehand. Even if there wasn't much time, the toa could have given him advice on how to use his powers, which was something the metru didn't have, with lhikan having vanished. 2. Makuta knew he could most likely win, but he wasn't willing to run the risk of actually losing. Takanuva, being a novice (and a bit of an idiot at times), could have easily went too far and actually killed teridax without meaning to. By challanging him to kohlii, and his subsiquent faking of his death (though not quite in the way he expected, takutanuva was the only thing that didn't go to plan), he was able to ensure continuation of the plan without getting killed. 3. While this one can be partially tacked up to script alterations, part of this was simply summoning the toa nuva to back him up if things went sour. Also, with Takanuva beleiving that mata-nui would be awakened, he wanted to make sure everyone was present for the momentous event.
  8. I can see the resemblance, but it seems more a coincidence than anything. Perhaps the set designer was inspired by the big mata-nui when making the (bigger) small version?
  9. Not sure where you got the idea, but it may have something to do with a picture I found on BS01, http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/File:AOSR_Great_Spirit_Robot_Departing_Spherus_Magna.jpg One of the comics (the graphic novel exclusive one maybe?) seems to have used the basic mata-nui set as the mata-nui robot.
  10. An amazing Epic about biomechanical warriors fighting the forces of evil, that ultimately got too complecated for its own good.
  11. A few suggestions: Reverse Hafu and taipu's masks as templar mixed them up in the original. Improve some of the custom art, such as the forest map, beach marks, snowboards, and the lightstone holder in onewa's house. Try to match templar's art style, without outlines and such, or try editing other objects, like the letter tablet for the map. Replace all the numbers with matoran numbering, and make the charred forest making look carved. Just a few ideas. Keep up the good work! This is amazing!
  12. In bara-magna, metal is very precious, so they use organic thornax instead of ammo, which would be a waste of metal when they have explosive fruit all over. Plus, after the shattering, their technological level seemed to go down significantly, with almost a medieval level of society. Also, many dark hunters and other being have plenty of ranged options, including energy bolts and rotuka launchers. Generally, other than kanoka, energy weapons are the norm, due to the ease of their use, and the convenience of not needing ammo.
  13. I got BIONICLE The Game back in the day, and i loved it. however, i got stuck on level one at the part with the yellow nui-jaga. I kept thinking that I had to just across and get to the spot where it was! Turns out you just shoot it from afar. I ended up quiting at lewa nuva's level, because the parkor was too hard. Last week I finally came back to it, got past lewa's level, and finally beat makuta.
  14. I think they were put there to prevent an accidental release of the bohrok. The Exo-toa would be powerful enough to stop the bahrag, but the toa forced them together, causing their symbiosis to make them too powerful for the exo-toa. If the bahrag were separate, then the suits could have stopped them perhaps.
  15. 1. The first few are sprites, it isn't 3d till the fifth one. 2. This topic is dead. I havn't made a new comic for over a year. I am shocked you even found it.
  16. This doesn't seem to be cage gavla... perhaps his confusion is due to the three becoming one... Or maybe this plot line is just escaping my grasp. I dunno.
  17. I get it. Death let it happen, but there is someone who can make things right. Only with imagination are realities shaped.
  18. They destroyed That reality. Just as there are infinite universes and possibilities in one reality, there are a nearly limitless amount of realities. Each unique, each feeding off of the one true reality, without which they would all perish. Each powered by the most powerful force known to man. Imagination.
  19. In their final battle, they destroyed their reality. Death is eternal, he can't die. Now he is looking at what went wrong...
  20. Life is an unknown. Death is certain.
  21. Seeing how much power he possesses, and how he wishes to gain more and more of it, I am surprised he has not seeked out the most powerful mask in the matoran universe... the Kanohi Mohtrek. Mask of time duplication.
  22. I logged in, but the link won't work... help?
  23. Gerlicky needs to make comics more often. Every comic he makes is just pure comedic gold.
  24. wow... That is an epic minecraft makuta.
  25. Because lego always made six sets, and the kal were filler anyway. Besides, the toa were only barely able to be the Bohrok-Kal as it was,
