IC: DivinexSome of the electricity Plagia fired missed Divinex, but not all of it: a good deal of lightning hit Divinex and he roared in pain. Seething, he took his mace and swung it back, preparing to deal a final blow...IC: Akinii Akinii looked up in a daze. What the...? Plagia was in pain, and Divinex (or whatever his name was) was about to deal a terrible blow to the innocent Toa of Lightning. Okay. Now I'm angry too. He launched himself at Divinex, yelling out a defiant "Hey!" as he flew through the air, headed straight for his adversary...IC: DivinexDivinex turned and saw Akinii fly at him. Before he knew what had happened, the lanky Toa was on him, punching him into the ground vigorously, literally beating him into submission. He always hated it when Akinii did that... Akinii finally stopped punching him, and Divinex tried to catch his breath, unsuccessfully. IC: AkiniiAkinii turned towards Plagia and shot a thin stream of ice at the flames beneath the Toa of Lightning, quickly snuffing out the flames and saving Plagia's feet from further damage. He looked back down at Divinex. "Alright, I'm getting sick of this. Are you going to calm down, or will my friend Plagia here have to fry you?"

IC: Krayzikk sold the candlesticks and otheritems for a pitiful amount, but still more than what they were worth. He needed to make money, and he was done in Ko-Koro.OOC: Open for interaction.

IC: Utu - Wall of HistoryUtu stood up and peered once more at the box, almost instantly he dropped to his knees clutching his head. He cried out as pain filled his mind. Everything seemed to be moving, he clenched his jaw and shook, unable to do anything about the pain. He closed his eyes, and opened them again a few times, his mark still active, and detecting rising fear in the room.He heard a voice, sharp, low, and painful, yet soothing at the same time.Utu's first thought was the box, he stood up and sped walked towards it, smashing it across the room into the other wall with his foot. The sound and the pain didn't stop. He went for the entrance and ducked through. He started running, hands still on head trying to dull the pain. His head started to pound like a drum and he dropped again to his knees, his hood falling from his powerless Garai. He screamed in pain, the mark picking up more fear in the streets. Had he not activated it voluntarily earlier, he would have lost control of his body, the mark of fear having free reign with him, causing more fear.At least it helped dull the pain. The voice stopped and the pain was lessened, albeit only slightly. His breathing was still panicked, and his head was still pounding, but everything had stopped spinning sickly. He however didn't move, instead he just stayed on his knees, holding his head facing the icy street.

OOC: To Ta-wahi.IC: Ardoku watched as The Cable Car slowly gained pace on the thick cable, stretched between the two Koro's. Kranuka soon dissappeared into the fog, caused by ice meeting the lava-flow from Ta-Wahi. After a while then, The Cable Car returned, empty of course, allowing the slender Toa of Plasma to get in. "Off I go!" He said, signaling the guard to once again turn The Car on. And soon enough, he himself vanished into the mist...OOC: Ardoku and Kranuka to Ta-Wahi? Edited by Chief Engineer Onaku

IC (Traxin, coastline): The poorly made boat shattered feebly on the frozen shore of the Wahi. Traxin, a Toa of Sonics and an assassin, took no notice, standing atop the mast as the craft fell against the barrier of ice. He took one, casual step off the boat just as the last remains of it became snapped chunks of wood floating on the waters surface. Looking through the mist and to the Mountain in the center of the island, Traxin began his long trek to Ko-Koro.

IC: AkiniiRealizing that Plagia was wounded, Akinii moved towards the Toa of Lightning, then thought better of it and looked back towards Divinex. "If you value your life, don't move." Divinex grunted, signifying that he was more than willing to comply. "Are you alright, Plagia? You took a pretty hard hit there..."

OOC:I needed to get out of an interaction that's been dead for over a month. :PIC: Utu - Ko-Koro StreetsUtu heard a voice. This time it wasn't in his head, it was the gentle voice of a Turaga of ice. Utu shook and turned to the Turaga, his hands still on his head. Eye's glowing purple he made eye-contact with the Turaga. He froze for only a moment before standing up and walking, refusing to take his hands from his pounding skull.

IC: PlagiaPlagia smiled, 'I'm fine. Nothing that a few drinks won't fix,' she looked over Akinii's shoulder to check on the Fire Toa, 'Him, on the other hand... Do you know him? He sure seems to think he knows you.'IC: RynekkRynekk walked slowly down the foothills of Ihu, heading for Ko-Koro. Hopefully, he might be able to leave this wretched place soon. It was far too cold for his taste. He entered the snowy village, to find a Toa sitting by the side of the road, selling what appeared to be candlesticks and other odd items.Rynekk, despite his icy exterior, did enjoy the occasional company, so decided to start an amiable conversation with this fellow.'Get up off the ground, will you!'OOC: That's Krayzikk he's talking to by the way.-Void

IC: Utu - Ko-Koro StreetsUtu simply stopped and growled, "Right now, you are my problem." His voice wavered at the end of his statement however and he faltered a bit in his step. The thought occurred to him, if it wasn't the box that spoke... No, that wouldn't seem right. There was a chance however. Was it another Mark Bearer? Could they do that? Or better yet was it Makuta? He stopped again and looked back to the Turaga dropping his hands again after lifting his hood up over his face, "How much do you know about Makuta?"

OOC: What are the requirements for a character to be a Mark Bearer?ICThe Turaga raised an eyebrow."Makuta?" he said ponderously. "Well, now. That is an interesting subject, my child, and a dangerous one. It would be best not to speak his name in the open, even quietly..."

IC: (Enara from Ta-Wahi)I've looked everywhere, asked everyone, gave a description ('a lanky Toa of Ice wielding a scythe and wearing a Kakama') and nobody's seen him! Enara thought after a long, futile attempt at locating the escaped experiment. She decided to scout around the village for a few more hours, holding on to some kind of false hope that the Toa might show up.OOC: Enara open for interaction.

OOC:A shady past connected to all the other MB's somehow whether they or players know the connection and the loss of a mask power. The mark has to be able to contract power from an obvious emotion, like fear, anger, hope.IC: Utu - Ko-Koro StreetsUtu leaned towards the Turaga and spoke through gritted teeth, clearly still in pain, "I don't really care, just answer my question."

IC: Utu - Ko-Koro StreetsUtu's face held no emotion, "I don't care, just start talking."He rolled his head over his neck as the mark deactivated. He just needed to hear a normal voice, just for a little.IC: Tuara - Ko-WahiTuara trudged through the snow, keeping herself warm by projecting heat all over her body, making the snow where her feet made contact slushy. "Remind me. Why did I go along with this?" It was rhetorical, but she wouldn't be surprised if the others responded. Utu being here seemed pretty unlikely still, well, he was a Toa of ice, but that didn't exactly confirm his location. Still, it was their best bet.She missed Ta-Koro already.OOC:Darn it guys, I haven't even had a chance to prepare Utu for this at all. :P

IC"If you insist," the Turaga said, eyebrows raised. "I only asked because there is so much to say about the Master of Shadows."He rubbed he bottom of his mask with his chin."Makuta is ancient. He is timeless. He dwells in the darkness beneath Mata Nui, and he is the darkness, and yet he is a deeper darkness still."As he spoke, the old Turaga's wise voice began to take on an almost hypnotic quality."He does not walk the earth, but his children and his slaves do. The Kraata and the Rahkshi they inhabit are a part of him, and yet they are not him. He controls the minds of his subjects through the masks he has touched."A sinister hint was now more than audible in his voice, and there was an unplaceable glint in his old blue eyes."Makuta is a paradox. He is many, and he is one. He is great, and he is terrible. He is the voice in the darkness. He is the shadow in the deep."The Turaga's eyes were now locked with Utu's - and suddenly they blazed blood-red as a very different, much deeper voice came from his throat -"AND HE IS EVERYWHERE!"The Turaga vanished.

IC: SulkuaSulkua had just finished checking his Rahi traps on Mount Ihu and was just heading back to his dwelling when he saw an Ice Toa fall to the ground in front of a box. He was about to approach when a Turaga walked forward and the two started talking. The Toa walked off, then turned around and they had a convesation. Sulkua was about to walk away when the Turaga disappeared in a flash. He thought he was seeing things but then the Toa collapsed, his eyes bulging and breathing ragged. Sulkua strode forward and asked, "Are you alright?" offering his hand to the Toa to help him up.

IC: (Enara)What the... Oh, right, just another Turaga with a Huna who's a Makuta fanatic. Enara thought as she saw a Turaga vanish after quoting some widely known knowledge (AKA not very useful information) about the Makuta to a nearby Toa. "Who was that?" Enara asked the Toa of Ice.OOC: Just having Enara come up with the only rational explanation for the Turaga disappearing.

OOC: @Neothunder: If you say so...ICSeveral Ko-Matoran and other bystanders were now staring at Utu and the spot where the Turaga had disappeared from. Curiously, if anybody looked closely enough at the actual snow he had been standing on, they would notice one rather odd detail:There were no footprints.Of course, the light snowfall could have quickly covered them...

OOC: Oh well. I figured that we were just wasting time in Ta-Koro anyway. :PIC: SalamanderSalamander shivered slightly, the intense cold of Ko-Wahi seeping into his body. Even with his powers in constant use (namely a low-level Dragon Blaze) he couldn't completely elimante the chill around him that Ko-Wahi was so well known for. Every step left a deep puddle of slush where his feet had melted the snow, leaving a trail of half-frozen footprints marking his path. Salamander could feel his energy declining, not only from the intense cold, but also from the amount of Elemental Energy he had already used up. "Remind me, why did I go along with this?"Salamander grunted as his left foot sank deep into white blanket that covered the land. The snow was now at knee-level for him, slowing down his progress considerably. Still, he continued to move forward, unwilling to be stopped by Mount Ihu and its weather.Ignoring Tuara's question (which he suspected was rhetorical), Salamander asked one of his own. "How much farther do you think it is to Ko-Koro?"

IC: VenatorThe clanking of his foot armor echoed as he hobbled along, trying to keep pace with Salamander. He was quite a bit behind, and slowly gaining. The sword he was using as a cane likely wouldn't be in the best fighting condition after this, but he could always use another in a fight. He was at home in the snow, the cold reaching him even through his armor. Any dragons in Ko-Koro would learn not to challenge a dragon hunter in his own terrain.

IC, Kinvex: Kinvex was freezing. But he couldn't help thinking that Nikaron and Vejmeq were feeling the same way. Unlike Salamander and Tuara, they had no fire powers to keep themselves warm. "How much farther do you think it is to Ko-Koro?" asked Salamander. "Not too much farther, I hope" replied Kinvex. Why is it so cold... he thought to himself.

OOC: Salamander's going to fly ahead soon. Having a Kadin sure comes in handy, doesn't it? :PEspecially once you figure out how to fight with it...IC: Salamander"Not much farther, I hope"Salamander turned around slightly to get a better look at the three Toa behind him. All three looked as if they were extremely cold, which made sense given their lack of Fire powers. Salamander replied, saying, "Yeah, I hope so too."The group fell silent, and the only sounds that could be heard was the harsh wind whistling past them and the crunch of snow beneath feet.

IC: Utu - Ko-Koro StreetsUtu was taken aback. First he held out his hand and swiped where the Turaga had once stood feeling nothing. No footprints either. He wasted no time in leaving the area. Quickly he started walking down the street, shoving past onlookers before putting on his hood again. Was the Turaga an incarnation of Makuta himself? Or maybe he was just crazy, and imagining things. He disregarded that idea quickly. The whole idea of somebody seeing something and passing it off as a figment of their own imagination seemed pretty stupid to Utu.Utu knocked on the door of a small hut, and upon lack of an answer he pushed the door open and walked inside. He needed time to think alone. Although it wasn't like he would exactly have been sucked into a conversation while outside. He was in Ko-Koro after all.IC: Tuara - Ko-WahiTuara pulled her cloak closer to her body, trying to keep warm. She was pretty weak to the cold admittedly, and she didn't like the idea of being in Ko-Wahi should the group encounter Utu again. Although there were quite a few of them now. She looked behind her to see what appeared to be a weakened Toa, using his sword as support. How long he had been behind them she didn't know. She slowed her pace and turned to face the stranger, the others of the group passing her gradually."Friend, are you alright? You seem hurt. Are you okay?"

ICWith Utu gone, the crowd quickly dispersed. Such occurrences were unsettling, but not so unusual these days. One of the Ko-Matoran who had been there wandered down the streets of Ko-Koro in the same direction as Utu. Only a short time after Utu entered the hut, the Matoran opened the door.He looked shocked to see the Toa there, fear in his eyes."Wh-what are you doing in my hut?" he asked tremulously.

IC: (Enara)Come to think of it, that Turaga's voice suddenly changed when he shouted:"HE IS EVERYWHERE!" and... She looked carefully at the ground, just to make sure. ...He left no footprints. Maybe he was some sort of illusion, some kind of projection from someone, even Makuta(?)... Those words imply that. thought Enara as she walked away along with the rest of the crowd from where the Toa of Ice had been.OOC: Enara open for interaction.

IC: Divinex Divinex looked angrily at Plagia, and quickly made a decision. Fighting both Akinii and Plagia was proving to be a fruitless endeavor. The frosty, cold environment of Ko-Koro wasn't helping either..."I thought I already told you." Using the last reserves of his strength, he threw a massive blast of flame at Akinii and Plagia. "I'll be back for you, Akinii!" he yelled, as he turned on his Mask of Stealth and ran, headed for Ta-Koro.IC: Akinii"What the..?" Akinii yanked himself and Plagia away from the blast of flame, missing it by inches as he heard Divinex yell his name. Akinii looked for Divinex, but he was nowhere to be seen. [/i]Uh oh...

IC NikaronNikaron turned around and noticed the Toa of Ice, Hmm that's odd, a Toa of Ice, feeling weak in Ko-Koro. Is this not the place he feels strongest in. He must be severly injured."Hold on friend, we will find a way to patch you up. Tell me what's you're name?" Nikaron then turned to the others. "Can any of you get him to the village faster then the rest of us?"
