Skrall 546 and 1337, dubbed “Pulse” and “ShadowVezon” respectively for this tournament, stepped into the arena. This was the first battle in a long string of them that would decide which contestant would get to keep their name permanently, along with riches and fame. Money flew from hand to hand as bets were placed on the two contesants. Pulse and SV moved into their positions. SV cursed at Pulse. Pulse shouted something about revenge for treachery. “Are the contestants ready?” the announcer boomed. Pulse and SV gave the signal. “Then FIGHT!” SV wasted no time in getting things started. He swiftly loaded his Thornax launcher, took aim, fired, and then backflipped to get away from the incoming retribution he knew was coming. ...only his “knowledge” wasn't as assured as he thought. Pulse raised his shield and deflected the incoming blast, sending it flying right back at SV (yes this is how physics works). SV was in the middle of landing his backflip when the Thornax collided solidly with his arm and exploded. BAM! SV went flying backwards and crashed into a wall. He tried to get up, but his attempts were in vain. Unconsciousness quickly claimed him, and Pulse was left as the victor. SKRALL #1337, SV, DEFEATED BY SKRALL #546, PULSESV cannot vote/hire businessmen this round!Pulse has gained one coin! The crowd went wild, cheering the victor on. Money flew as people paid up for and were paid for bets. Pulse gestured rudely towards SV and then stormed off, muttering curses about some Thornax Stew thievery. ====== 24 HOURS REMAIN UNTIL THE FIRST NIGHT ALL HAIL TUMA -MT
