If you don't mind me asking, when did the gold Ignika get to be $150.00?

 

A good portion of the Mata Nui stuff on eBay has been demanding pretty high prices these days, probably due to the name recognition he has. But I found a sold listing for the mask only at $150, so that's probably why the seller listed it at that.

I paid $125 for a used Mata Nui (8998) a few years ago; that's how I got my PG Ignika. I've seen that set sell for anywhere from $80-$500 USD. $150 for just the mask is pretty ridiculous, but considering that you'd be looking at much more than that for the set, I suppose it's *fair*.

I don't know man, I bought my PLG Ignika for under $50 and piecemealed the rest of the set for about the same. $150 for the mask alone is entirely too much.

Yea, it is said in listing description that it is custom mask. I'm pretty sure that it comes from shapeways:

Mask in auction is 18k gold which is available on shapeways and that custom axle on back of mask and also not 100% mapping to original says that it was probably 3D designed and printed.

I bought a lot similar, had the box, comic, and the little duplo extra, but I got it much cheaper, and all the tohunga were MISB :) those were the days until I lost my original collection
