  1. I think it was never specifically stated by Greg but my guess is that the Komau works only on sentient minds capable of advanced thoughts like matoran and toa.Doubt it. A noble Komau can control a Nui-Kopen. An insect.
  2. I've heard rumours, and even seen a low-quality pic, of shiny Machop having changed from brown to green in ORAS. Has anyone else found a shiny Machop in ORAS and can prove if this true with higher-quality pics?
  3. Would a Komau work, or would that be as OP as the Mask Of Rahi Control?
  4. tbh I do see the tactical financial value in only including them in sets. They force me to collect each set to get as many as I can, which I otherwise wouldn't've done.
  5. I did find and purchase some Bohrok from a second-hand shop in Footscray, near Melbourne, last year.
  6. Has anyone else heard of this term? It gets thrown around quite a bit on the Bring Back Bionicle Club.
  7. I think someone mentioned a while ago the likelihood of Skull Spiders being released on their own, in collectible packs. Does anyone else know about this rumour? I for one hope it happens, because the 12 Skull Spiders we'll be getting in Toa/Defender sets won't be enough to build an army like some hoarders like myself would like.
  8. As a lore person, I like clone sets because of how each set in a group is similar but different. I don't see 6 (or 12 in the case of the Bohrok) completely identical toys in different packaging like some people seem to, I see 6 (or 12 in the case of the Bohrok) individual characters or specimens. It's similar outside Bionicle too: In Pokémon there are eight Eevee evolutions, who are similar but different. They could be considered "clone sets" by some. Same with Plusle and Minun, who are completely identical except for colour, symbol and slight variations in stats and movepools. Then there are model trains. Some companies release multiple individual specimens of a single class of rollingstock, in many cases in the same liveries. They too count as "clone sets", but I don't see their manufacturers get ridiculed for making them either. tl;dr I see each clone set as an individual character, not a set.
  9. A Kualsi. Its teleporting abilities appeal to me a surprising amount.
  10. Only those that appeal to me the most, tops. In this case that means only the Skull Spiders. Depending on how the smaller Skull Spiders are released (I heard a rumour about them appearing in collectible packs like the masks of yesteryear), I may or may not collect the Masters and Defenders too.
  11. Really? Is it in the game files of the 2006 downloadable version or the BioMediaProject version? Is it on Youtube somewhere? The LEGO site downloadable version, yeah.
  12. A long time ago I remember seeing a modified version of the cutscene where Wairuha is gang-bashed by Manas, where the close-up scenes show Akamai instead of Wairuha. I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned here yet!
  13. Whether we like it or not (and I don't either) it's a hard reboot. End of story. afaik there is NO Mask of Time whatsoever in Gen 2. There is NO WAY the name "Makuta" would be used again if it was Gen 1 (except if a GB was called Makuta, but GBs don't wear masks). And the Toa have NO reason to replace their masks with the plain elemental masks they're confirmed to wear. Therefore it is a hard reboot.
  14. I had heard that LEGO had planned for Bionicle to go on until at least 2011, causing confusion when it ended before that. I also heard they were going to release the baterra as 2010 sets. IMO they could've helped Bionicle to bounce back if released. I for one would've bought about a dozen of them.
  15. The Dark Hunters and more Toa. I'd add more but I don't think anything else would fit with the rebooted story.
  16. Ooh, now that would be neat(if possible) Only reason why they wouldn't would be: Programming issues(game's taking too long, etc.) No actual set models I have no idea what you guys are talking about. The Battle of Kini Nui was because the Chronicler's company needed to protect the Toa Mata while they were in Makuta's Chambers. To imply that a battle of Kini Nui would be in our game would be to say the same thing would happen again, which is not the case. Secondly, no set models? I am completely confused. Nui Kopen, Kuma Nui and Kofo Jaga have official combiners/looks. Sand tarakava is just a slight variation of the existing tarakava. In fact, I have a Nui Kopen IN the image update today. Maybe you both can clarify what you're talking about? Edit: I should also mention that there are currently 15 Rahi in the game and thats only 1/3 of the final amount. So that far exceeds 8. When the rarer Rahi were mentioned in the Flash version of the MNOLG, I was led to believe we could battle them, and was disappointed to realise I couldn't. Plus, only featuring the common Rahi debalanced the Matoran, making Taipu OP and Tamaru underpowered based on the elements of the Rahi that did appear. Featuring all mentioned Rahi would balance things better. BTW were you aware that Sand Tarakava existed as a prototype set? 5 actual Sand Tarakava sets were made and released, allowing you to use more accurate models if you can find pics. http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Sand_Tarakava
  17. In the Flash MNOLG's Battle Of Kini-Nui, only Muaka, Nui-Jaga, Water Tarakava and Nui-Rama featured, yet the Matoran also mention the Kuma-Nui, Kofo-Jaga, Sand Tarakava and Nui-Kopen. Will all 8 Rahi appear in your game's version of the Battle Of Kini-Nui, or just the 4 that featured in the Flash version?
  18. There is another character called Makuta, therefore it's a 100% reboot. Spherus Magnans would never reuse that name after Teridax disgraced it. As much as I wish that wasn't true, that's simply how it is.
  19. They might do so for the new Defender villagers. The ones in sets are village elders, just like the Turaga, and the villages of that day were in McDonalds Happy Meals. If they're keeping 2015 as parallel as I think they are to 2001 then they'll likely do it.
  20. Just call them Toa for now. Since they're the only Toa we know in this version of Bionicle, they don't need a second name.
  21. Mask of Ice. Not Mask Of X-Ray Vision. Kopaka has no reason to get rid of the Mask of X-Ray Vision. Now can people please stop giving people false hope by saying it's not a hard reboot?
  22. Best I can do is go one up and suggest "Mata Nui Archives" or "Metru Nui Archives".
  23. Well he had to get rid of the Ignika because if he didn't it would immediately turn black and kill everyone inside, including him. I suppose re. Mata Nui's spirit he may have been concerned it could possess another body and then threaten him again.
  24. Explore this world and no more. No giant robot, no alternate dimensions.
