OOC: and a ridiculous comedy from ghidora, then it's complete. :P

IC Izzun

"Well, I've had fun living so far." He said as he strode with the ice ring. He wished he could see heat formations over the horizon, but there were too many beetles in the way. Their only hope was that they could reach the sender of the beetles soon.

OOC: I have no idea of the shape that this island is formed, nor how far we have to go. Could someone please remind me?

IC: Praxis

The Toa of Gravity grabbed his warhammer once again as the Kahu kept ascending, ascending, ascending...

He made sure the two Matoran had their disk launchers ready as the Kahu cleared the tops of the trees, still climbing. He had a pretty good idea about what was going to happen next.

"Get ready to fire when I say the word," he told them.

Hoping the bird was doing what he thought it was doing, Praxis flung the beetle-fireball upwards, just askew of the Kahu's ascending path, releasing it from his telekinetic and gravitic holds.

The Kahu and the fireball reached the top of their respective arcs as Praxis held out his hammer, colliding with the slowing fireball and breaking the mass of flaming, crushed beetles apart. The Kahu slowed, turned and began falling in a nosedive towards the jungle and the swarm.

There, falling in front of them towards the canopy below were the flaming beetles, which Praxis concentrated to grasp once again, increasing their mass and accelerating them downwards towards his target - the swarm below -  and anything else the 'beetle-bullets' would hit.

"Fire!"

IC Erwin

The woman when she saw him put her arms around him and held him. Oh, she said, I am so glad to see you. Should talk to him sometimes about God. He tried to talk to God but the best thing was to talk to his sister and he talk to her and he didn't forget.

There were trout in the placid waters of Lake Pala, run-off as it was from the mountains. You could see them floating in the cool and clear current where the white edges of their fins broke the water as they fed or created little eddies and sub currents in the body of the lake

They smelled of moss or curiously deep water in your hand, polished and muscular and torsional. On their backs were the vermiculate and unknown patterns of the world in it's infancy. Fish were ancient, ancient creatures. Their prehistoric skins were maps and mazes of a past that was gone and could not be made right again. The only hint of this kept by creatures or words or feelings living only in the deepest glens or waters or caverns, all older than man and humming with mystery

The other fish he caught were not nearly so poetic, he unceremoniously gutted and skinned them placing them into a thick leather pouch that held permafrost and carved ice from Mt.Ihu. The man he had procured it from told him it would never melt

...but close to it

OOC:
Akiri Kongu from Ta-Wahi

IC: Akiri Kongu

To say that Kongu was upset with himself would be a bit of an understatement. He knew he couldn't blame himself for offering help to Ta-Koro, even if it led to his being absent during Le-Koro's time of need. At least Kongu could find comfort in his able-bodied and able-minded people; he knew that they could handle most anything thrown at them, even if their leader is absent.

This faith was confirmed as warranted as Kongu and Shu flew low over the village to see not a single soul. After banking and turning east, they could see the marks of a battle waging. Elemental energy flying, trees falling, and the gut feeling that everything was going smoothly (all things considered).

* * * * * *

Kongu and a few of his wind-fliers swooped down over the various Toa and Matoran who were fighting... seemingly nothing.

Many were squashing the last of the beetles as Kongu's Ka touched down amidst the battle-field.

OOC:
Thanks to all who participated in saving Le-Koro! You've done it! We'll smother the last of the beetles before eventually searching for any stragglers to prevent another incident.

Those non Le-Koronians that wish to be recognized for their defense of the village will later be recognized for their efforts at an official ceremony hosted by the Gukko Force.

IC Kigta:

I jump onto Izzun, and shout "We've won! We did it!!"

OoC: THE ENTROPY BEETLES ARE DEFEATED!

My character is Le-Matoran, but he's not from Le-Koro. Be sure to recognize Lain (Tiragath) Akhulii (Banana Gunz) Izzun (ghidora131) Ryzen (Gengar) and Kigta (Dallior08) plus others who I can't remember,  the team who majorly helped with the fight.

IC: Akhulii- Outskirts of Le-Koro

Akhulii walked around the lush green trees with fallen trunks laying around him along with the twisted bodies of dead entropy beetles. He thought about how he had gotten so far, from the safety of his little shop in Ga-Koro, to fighting and helping defeat a swarm of vicious beetles. He realized how he had helped save the home of many, and though he wasn't much of a fighter, he felt proud that he had done something to help, something good.

He walked over to a twitching beetle and tossed some dust from a bottle in his belt over its body, which dried it up rapidly and made it crust apart, bringing it to its final end. Nasty critters...

The only parts left from this beetle were the large chompers at the front which the beetles used to eat the trees. Akhulii bent down and examined the fangs, his mask scope zooming in to get a closer look. Smooth, but hard and creepy. Akhulii looked around and bagged them. He wanted something to remember this, something straight from the battle field where he let the beetle blood spill.

Akhulii walked down towards where the others were to celebrate and be pat on the back by Lain, robe flowing slightly with the sweet jungle wind. There would be much to be done to repair the koro, but it was safe, for now.

OOC: Whoo hoo! We did it guys! Congrats to everyone who helped!

IC:

After a few more waves, it was over. The insects had been defeated, and the Koro had been preserved.

A deafening silence settled over the demolished jungle, and restored a sense of calamity to its once beautiful, natural atmosphere.

"Well," she said to her companions, "Thanks for the ride. Maybe I'll see you around."

As their Gukko skimmed low over the treetops that still remained upright, she leapt off and caught the closest branch. Her stunt didn't go as smoothly as before, but luckily no one was around to see her fall the last three bio to the forest floor.

"Ow." she said, admiring the crisp clarity of the sky above.

IC:

Lathon walked across one of the many wooden bridges of Le-Koro. It had been too long since he'd been here, among the trees and the leaves. He lifted himself up into the air on a current of wind, allowing himself to float upwards as the wind pulled on his cloak. He then landed back down on the ground, feeling better after being in the air for a few fleeting moments. He continued his walk, emerald eyes poised for any possible threats or something that could put any innocent lives in danger.

IC Haki: hearing the cheers of the defenders, the Turaga looks up from his current Patient, a Le-Lesterin who'd broken an arm trying to pull some crazy stunt through the Beetles.

It seemed Le-Koro would not fall this day.

He smiles.

OoC open for interaction, and for being recognized for helping in the battle. If it's deserved.

IC Kigta:

As Kigta runs to his other friends to see where they are, he trips and shatters his Kualsi. He exclaims in terror. He then sees a dead Matoran on the jungle floor, a green powerless Hau on it's lifeless face. He puts it on, shrugs, and kept running.

OoC: That was just a way to change my Kanohi for my self-MOC. (What does self-MOC mean? It stands for self-MyOwnCreation.)

IC: Lathon

Lathon continued on for some time until he seems to draw near signs of a battle. He approaches a Turaga (Haki) who seemed to be tending to an injured Le-Korean. "What happened here? The village was attacked?" Lathon asked, he then glanced up and began to scan the area for signs on what had transpired. Leave for a long time and I get back and something big has happened... Lathon thought.

IC: Praxis

With the beetles seemingly defeated, the Toa of Gravity urged the Kahu to return to the village. He handed the leads to the Matoran on his right before jumping off the bird and making a Gravity-assisted landing in the Marketplace.

He looked around, trying to find someone suitable to pay him for his hard work.

IC Izzun

Izzun and the little band began heading back towards the Koro, thinking about subs and stuff like that, when Izzun remembered that they - His little group here - Had kept the bugs at bay and forced them into the air. With them in the air, they would be destroyed by the Gukko force. On the ground Izzun and Ryzen had kept things chilly and undesirable for the beetles. In other words -

They had unintentionally created a brilliant war plan.

He quickly explained it to the others.
