If we're not counting McDonald's toys, Pohatu Mata. Bought him with my own allowance, which was a big deal at the time. My first Bionicle was the McDonald's Hewki.I remember declaring them the guardians of a small village made up of my other toys. Fun times.

If I remember correctly my very first Bionicle set was the original Tahu way back when.  I might have gotten one of the McDonald's toys first, but I can't remember.  I just remember building my little Tahu set at my grandparents' old house when I was five.

I know I had one of the McToran after we moved from there, but I really can't remember if I had any before.  If me having one of the McDonald's toy first was the case, I think the only McDonald's Bionicle I ever had was Jaller.

I don't blame you. After three years, it feels like BIONICLE is as ancient and dead as the Mayans.

Toa Kopaka, from 2001. Right ath the start. As well on the same day i got the first issue of the bionicle comics, Which starred Kopaka. So kind of a double win i suppose.

Kopaka Mata, March '01. I feel like an old man. Has it really been so many years? And has it already been 3 years since Bionicle ended?

My first set was Lewa, way back in 2001. Coming home from a trip to Africa, I saw an intriguing cylinder-like thing on a shelf in the shop in the airport. I went over to it, picked it up off the shelf, and so my collection of Bionicle sets started.

Panrahk. I remember building and rebuilding this guy without instructions day in, day out from the end of '03 all the way until December 25, 2007 when I got Dekar, Defilak, and Takadox. I'm sort of surprised how many different MoCs I was able to make with only 45 pieces! Up until 2012, when I was cruising through old news on BZP, I was always wondering why my Kraata hardly fit!

I don't really know. I was born in 1999. I think my first set would have been a Bootleged Toa Nuva or Bootleged Bohrok-Kal. I remember having a Rahkshi so technically thats the first set i have memory of.

My very first was the Boxor, although my brother had gotten both a Tahu Nuva as well as a Tahnok-Kal before me.

Some Voya Nui Matoran (Balta, Garan, Piruk, and Kazi) and Vahki Nuurakh in Christmas 2005. Not sure how that Vahki managed to stay on the shelves.

-Lhikan

-Iruini

-The White Visorak

I can't remember which one of these three it was, though.

Nuju Metru. Got it from a friend of mine for my birthday. (Although it is possible I'm mistaken and it was one of the McDonalds' Matoran.)
