    yknow

Mushroom and bacon together are delicious. *runs away* Oh right, pineapple's okay, nothing horrible, nothing amazing. Don't really have anything else to say but that.
  2. Guess I'll be taking a spot as well, if they're open.
  3. Indivisible is a game that I'm not really seeing too much discussion around places, and I can't really remember the last time there was a mention on BZPower? Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. BUT ANYWAYS Indivisible. It's by the guys who made Skullgirls, Lab Zero Games. As such, the first thing you can expect is beautifully hand-drawn and buttery smooth character animations, and in the final product, hand-drawn backgrounds as well. The gameplay's an 2D platformer Metroidvania style game, with combat being an active-time battle RPG system with gameplay I have heard be compared to Valkyrie Profile. All I know is that when I played the demo, I had a LOT of fun, and for a Prototype, it really shows the potential this project has if it's funded. However, the game will ONLY happen if Lab Zero Games reaches $1,500,000!! Their publisher, 505 Games has generously offered to provide $2 million should Lab Zero games acquire the goal above, completing the game's budget of 3.5 million. Unlike most crowdfunded games out there, Lab Zero has been highly open about their practices and the expenses needed, and overall have been very genuine. As of right now though, they've made $1,032,153. That leaves $467,847 to be made in the remaining 17 days of the campaign! If they do not get fully funded, the game will not happen, and Lab Zero Games will dissolve. Now, I know that no one on BZPower is going to magically donate THAT much money and save the campaign overnight, but still! Consider donating to this project if you can! https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/indivisible-rpg-from-the-creators-of-skullgirls#/ And if you're among those who aren't able to support the project directly, spread the word to your friends and colleagues! There's a Thunderclap campaign running as well, so please consider signing up for that as well! https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/34635-indivisible-rpg-funding-drive Perhaps later I'll go over my thoughts towards this project more, but all you need to know right now is that I'm confident that if given the chance, the finished product will be amazing, and it'd be a massive shame to see the campaign fail and company go bankrupt... So that's all I have to say for now then, hopefully I've at least gotten your attention.
  4. IC: Olivia/Dahlia/Aspen Olivia sighed, closing her eyes. "That Guy person said he was Zach's uncle, earlier..." she said, a frown on her face. The red-haired trainer wasn't sure if Guy was honest, and if he was, why he was doing all this... However, she turned her head down, looking down at the Absol being mentioned. "Oh, hey..." Aspen listened to what Dahlia and the others said, walking towards the Absol. "Well, wherever you came from, you kept me and Dahlia safe, so thank you..." he said, rubbing the Dark-type's back, smiling. "Things could have been much worse, yeah... Thanks to everyone for stopping that from happening." The Absol braced himself for a few possible reactions, but this was not one of them. He was pet, scratched, and commended for his efforts. He couldn't have seen the humans reacting to him so positively, even ignoring how he was usually treated, the Gardevoir's fearful reaction had set him up for what to expect. Even the Herdier greeted him with a friendly disposition. All of this left the Absol a bit uncertain of how to respond, but he barked a quick greeting to everyone, sending his thoughts to Sylph as well. He reassured the Psychic-type that his feelings weren't hurt, as her reaction wasn't far off from how he was usually treated. Dahlia beamed at the positive receptiom the Disaster Pokemon was getting, and hugged him again. "See? Nothing to be worried about. You're just fine." the gardener said, listening to what the others said. Ryan spoke up, inquiring about Ellen. Dahlia's eyes widened, and she thought for a moment. "R-right... He was there in Sootopolis, to warn us, and Ellen mentioned seeing him before... D-do you have an answer to the question...?" the gardener asked. The Absol's crimson eyes turned towards everyon there, filled with a sort of... Uncertainty? He had picked up on how the young girl from before was not a part of the group, and didn't have a straight answer for Ryan Sanders. However, he frowned solemnly, and looked down with a sympathetic gaze, closing his eyes afterwards. No matter the outcome, their journey to find Ellen wouldn't have anyone experiencing a good time...

  6. IC: Olivia/Aspen/Dahlia Seaton Olivia watched helplessly as Guy appeared, and disappeared before she could even throw a single punch. Cursing under her breath, the red-haired trainer closed her eyes. She turned around to see the armless Gardevoir from before ask to see Zach. Olivia frowned a bit, and sighed. "I-I mean, yeah, that'd help, but..." she replied while looking around, failing to see a place to lay her best friend down. "If you can look at him and heal when he's sort of flopping around in my grip, maybe... But otherwise I think I need a place to be dropped off, or something..." the eldest Seaton muttered. "Today was a real mess, huh... Hope everyone can get on their boats on schedule..." Absol flinched when he saw the Gardevoir teleport away. He saw it in the split second their eyes met... The look of terror and fear. The look that he was an abomination. He found it difficult to take another step, and hung his head low. The optimism he had built up was now challenged by doubt, and old doubts began to resurface... "Hi, everyone. I'm glad to see people are alright." Dahlia replied, smiling a bit. She was about to say more, until she noticed that the Absol had paused, causing the gardener to turn around in worry. She knelt down again, placing a hand tenderly on the side of his cheek. "H-hey, I'm... Not sure what's wrong..." she started, biting her lip. "But... You're a hero, alright? I believe in you." the middle Seaton declared, smiling happily. "...Wh-who's that Absol, anyways...?" Aspen asked, a bit confused still. The Absol had came to their rescue earlier, and was now next to Dahlia, and he wasn't sure how that happened, either. "Didn't it show up not long ago?" Dahlia looked up at her brother, and nodded. "He's a new friend." she said, smiling. She then hugged the Absol again, stroking his fur reassuringly. It was paying off, as the Disaster Pokemon began to calm down, his breathing becoming steadier. Tentatively, he looked upwards, seeing the others there, and how they would react to his presence.
  7. IC: Olivia/Aspen/Dahlia Seaton As suddenly as it had started, the storm dissipated. Olivia no longer had a pounding headache, and breathed a sigh of relief. Of course, given that Zach was now slumped unconscious against her, and the attacks that struck and pushed her away had knocked the wind out of her and left her rather exhausted, the red-haired trainer nearly collapsed, but refused to let her legs buckle, holding on with sheer willpower. She held onto her friend, hugging him even tighter now that things were over. From behind came Evan and Jenny making sure everyone in the epicenter of the storm was safe, and even a small Fennekin attempting to get her attention. "I'm okay, don't worry about me..." the eldest Seaton turned around and mumbled, giving a weak grin. "Just... Got the wind knocked out of me, and could probably lie down for a while. I-I think Zach's okay too..." Olivia said, breathing heavily for a bit. When the conflict ended, Dracos dropped the Safeguard barrier, much to the relief of Aspen and Dahlia. The former walked up to Olivia, clearly a bit shaken at what had happened. He looked at Zach slumped limply against his older sister. "...H-he's not dead, right...?" he asked, frowning. The attack was so powerful, and it didn't seem completely impossible for him to have been drained entirely... "He doesn't feel dead, no..." Olivia responded, groaning. "I think all we need at this point... Is some rest, really. At least no one got hurt too badly..." Dahlia looked over at Olivia for a moment, smiling appreciatively that it didn't seem as though anyone had died. However, something made her frown, as there was something that most people seemed to be ignoring at the moment. The gardener turned her head to see the Absol from earlier, breathing heavily from the attacks. She slowly stepped towards him, without the white-furred creature noticing her. "Hey." she called out, just as the Disaster Pokemon prepared to leap away. He turned around, locking eyes with the trainer once more. The two of them stood there silently, the wind blowing through the area. "...Thank you. You saved me back there, and helped a bunch of people stay safe." the middle Seaton said gratefully. The Absol's eyes widened at that, looking around warily. No human had ever taken the time to acknowledge his presence to this extent, much less thank him for his efforts. While he was looking off into the distance, Dahlia knelt down and wrapped her arms around the Pokemon's neck, resting his head on her shoulder. Tensing up instinctively, the Disaster Pokemon's surprise turned to confusion. The blue-eyed girl with the sunhat was certainly more empathetic than anyone else he had met prior, but he didn't expect it to this extent... "...You've been hurt before, haven't you...?" Dahlia asked sadly, running her hand comfortingly over the Absol's back. Even though she was unable to communicate with him and hear his thoughts like a Psychic-type, somehow, she could feel the inner melancholy. She sighed again, and held the Disaster Pokemon in her embrace for a while longer, before standing up. "...You don't have to keep being alone, if you want. I... I'd like to keep you company. I'd like to be your friend." Dahlia offered, smiling softly. The Absol still seemed shocked from everything, and looked back hesitantly, not sure how to respond. The gardener watched him for a bit longer, and blinked, biting her lip. "...I-I understand. Maybe... Maybe I can see you in a better time." The middle Seaton walked away slowly, unable to take her mind off the Absol. She had wanted to help the Pokemon so badly, especially after he had risked his safety for hers... Dahlia held her head down, as she walked back to her friends. From behind came the sounds of something bounding towards her, and she turned her head to find that the Absol had began to walk by her side. He stopped, and looked up with a neutral expression. The gardener looked down in surprise, but smiled and knelt down again to hug him. "We're going to be great friends." she said, patting the Pokemon on the back, and standing up again. The middle Seaton walked over to where Olivia and the others were, as did the Absol, who, bizarrely enough, didn't fear for what was to happen next.
  8. IC: Dahlia/Aspen Seaton Aspen fumbled around for a Pokeball, trying to help contain the situation. When he glanced down at his pocket, he flinched, seeing his hand was over a Luxury Ball. "No, not her..." he muttered, but heard something rush past the air, and lifted his head. A blast of psychic energy was heading right at him, and Dahlia, causing his limbs to freeze. "D-Dahlia!" he cried, trying to capture her attention. The gardener looked up when Aspen said that, and cried out in shock, seeing the psychic blast head towards them. It was too large to evade, and running would have been of no use against it, so Dahlia quickly wrapped her arms around her younger brother, and turned her back towards the blast, closing her eyes while bracing for the impact... The Absol watching from up above saw what was happening. His crimson eyes widened, seeing that a psychic blast was on a crash course towards the girl with the sunhat. He tensed, and leaped off the building. Now there was no more time to hesitate. Now, the Pokemon had to act, scythe glinting in the sunlight as he fell... KRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRZZZZZZZZZZZHING! ...But there was no impact. Dahlia slowly opened her eyes with a shaky breath, to see Absol standing in front of her. His scythe glowed with a dark energy, as he slashed apart debris that was in their direction as well, giving Dahlia a chance to see his paw. "...No, it's... H-he came back...?" Dahlia muttered in disbelief. "W-what's happening right now?" Aspen asked, confused at his sister's reaction. Unlike her, he didn't recognize this particular Absol, but was now particularly grateful for his arrival. Dahlia opened and closed her mouth, unsure of how to response. She saw the Disaster Pokemon turn his head and bark at the two of them to move back, and shook her head. "I'll explain later." the gardener said, smiling appreciatively. "For now, we have to help out as much as we can..." The middle Seaton released Dracos from his Pokeball, the Dragonair frowning at the scene. "Safeguard!" Dahlia called out, with the serpentine Pokemon creating a barrier surrounding them in response. Dahlia continued to watch the Absol deflect the projectiles from the storm with awe, her smile widening. "...Thank you..." IC: Olivia Seaton Olivia clenched her teeth, and forced herself up onto a knee, breathing heavily. The headache kept growing stronger, to the point it was difficult to even open her eyes, but she pressed on, standing up fully. The red-haired trainer kept a grip on her head, and began to slowly drag her feet over to her best friend... No matter how much pain she was in, Olivia knew she had to do something... "Zach... Please, if you can hear me... You gotta..." she began, stopping in her tracks. The pain had overloaded her once more, but she shook her head, and kept moving forward. "Please... It's me, Olivia... Stop... G-get a hold of yourself..." The red-haired trainer used all her strength to run forward, and embrace the out-of-control psychic, breathing heavily. She breathed heavily for a while, tightening her hug around her friend again. "Zach, I... Please..." the eldest Seaton pleaded desperately, starting to cry a bit. She leaned forward, and gently pressed her lips against Zach's, as the psychic storm continued around them...
  9. I have a friend who basically either assumed that I'd already played Undertale or assumed that I never would, and spoiled something. I've already completely forgotten what it was, so it's no huge loss, though he did reveal that my guess of the final boss of a genocide run was correct. Honestly, it's insanely obvious. Unless he was just kidding. Well I'd say your friend is an outlier. Seriously, like, from some of the communities I've seen, they tend to spoiler tag a lot of things, even though a vast majority of them have completed the game already. Of course, they don't all go rabid if something isn't spoiler tagged (though some will be upset for sure), but reminders and stuff are pretty common. They might also be fine with some stuff as long as it's out of context, clearly a spoiler through observation, or stuff like that. So a vast majority of the Undertale community believes it's best not to spoil new players, and spoiler tags or such are seen as a courtesy towards newer players. Honestly, the only reason I am able to talk about the game as freely as I am with my real-life friends is either cause they've also played the game or willingly chose to spoil it for themselves without me talking them into it.
  10. IC: Olivia Seaton Just as Olivia was about to reassure Zach further, he stopped in his tracks, an eerie glow in his eyes. "...Zach, what are you-" she began to say, before the chaos ensued. The eldest Seaton wasn't very able to process the screams of terror or the windows shattering, though. Suddenly, she was hit with an unbearable headache, causing her to grip her head, stumble back, and shut her eyes tight. The red-haired trainer then stumbled into a psychic wave, causing her to yelp and collapse onto the ground. "...Wh-what... Nnnnghh..." she groaned, reaching an arm out to try and prop herself up, seeming to have great difficulty with that... IC: Dahlia/Aspen Seaton Aspen walked along the edge of the park, waiting for Dahlia to return from whatever she was doing. However, he also seemed deep in thought, so much so that he didn't notice Dahlia was right behind him until she tapped him on the shoulder. "Oh, there you are." he said after turning around. "Where have you been?" "Oh, you know, just thought I mighta seen something." the gardener replied casually, starting to walk out of the park with Aspen following. The siblings walked through the city towards the docks, not saying much of anything, as they both were deep in thought. However, the distant sound of shattering glass and people screaming both caused them to look around in alarm. "Wh-what the...??!" Aspen said in alarm, turning towards the docks. "No... Why here too, I... We have to make sure everyone's okay!" Dahlia nodded. "Right. Something's not right about this, though..." she muttered, a concerned frown on her face. The Seaton siblings picked up the pace, sprinting to the dock. Eventually, after passing by dozens of screaming and crying civilians, they caught up with Evan and Jenny from earlier, along with someone they didn't recognize. "What's going-Oh... Oh no..." Dahlia said, her worry turning to horror. Zach was giving off waves of energy, an eerie glow in his eyes. Meanwhile, Olivia was on the ground, struggling to lift herself up. Aspen, along with his older sister turned to the others. "U-u-uhhh... What do we... D-do..." he asked meekly, unsure of how to approach this situation at all. They had to stop Zach, yes... But how? Meanwhile, on a rooftop, sunlight reflected off of an Absol's scythe, looking over the chaos. He had forseen this coming. The panic, the fear, the crying... He knew, before any of the humans there. What could he have done with the knowledge, however? Trying to warn the humans had all but a select few ignore his presence, due to the superstitions against his kind. Going to help could also be effective... But more often than not, it caused the others to lash out against him out of fear, anger, and distrust. The Absol held his head low, wanting to aid those below, but feeling resigned to his fate. Howver, looking across the area, he caught sight of one person in particular, a young woman with a straw hat. His crimson eyes widened at the sight. Could it be? The girl who had mended his paw, and treated him so gently...? The Absol brushed his bandaged paw against the rooftop, tempted to leap down and urge her to run. But... No, that wouldn't work. What would her friends say, knowing such a terrible creature associated with her? No. That would only create problems for the girl with blue eyes. And yet, the Absol still looked in her direction, feeling reluctant to turn away....

  13. OOC: Y'all will be stuffed soon after the amount of jams this topic has been getting lately. IC: Olivia Seaton/Evan Tierra Olivia raised an eyebrow at the Tailwind, thinking. "Hmmm... Take the the air, and Dragon Breath." she decided on. Jhen leaped up, wings fluttering quickly. The Vibrava faced Vlad, and opened his mouth, firing a thin, blue beam, to see how the Gliscor would react. "Mitigate the damage with a Swords Dance, then show them your aerial prowess!" Evan shouted. "A little show of Acrobatics will be the perfect thing for that!" At Evan's command, Vlad spun around gracefully, clacking his pincers to his unseen beat. The spinning didn't outright negate the damage, but did it's job of raising Vlad's fighting spirit and reducing the damage the Fangscorp took. Vlad then swooped high into the skies above and performed several loops before aiming for Jhen. Olivia sighed at the theatrics of Vlad, and shook her head. "Too bad for you, you're playing right into my hands. Feint Attack." Jhen flew straight towards Vlad, seeming to go for a head-on collision. However, before impact, the Vibrava veered to the side, letting his opponent to fly into empty space. He then flew above the Gliscor and dived from a diagonal, grinning all the while. Vlad was struck by the Feint Attack, but shrugged it off. He admitted this Vibrava was clever, but it would take more than this to put him down. "Don't be so sure!" Evan said, grinning widely at the chance he saw. "Vlad, grab that Vibrava and use Ice Fang on his wings!" Before Jhen could zoom away from Vlad, the Fangscorp lashed his pincers out towards Jhen, his fangs glistening with cold energy. He was not going to let this slip out of his claws. Olivia frowned, crossing her arms again, wincing as Jhen was caught in the Gliscor's grip. "That won't do, you gotta get out of there. Rock Slide!" The Vibrava struggled against Vlad's pincers, wincing as well when his wings were bitten and frozen, but obeyed his trainer's command. Ripples of energy appeared above the skirmish the two Pokemon were facing, and out of them dropped a rain of small boulders. It was inevitable that Jhen would be hurt as well, but hopefully it would knock the Fang Scorpion Pokemon off. If that happened, he would no longer be at Vlad's mercy... Vlad was knocked away, but regained his composure. The Fangscorp was beginning to enjoy fighting this Vibrava. He wondered what other tricks he had up his sleeve. "Vlad, exit stage left!" Evan shouted at Vlad. "We've done enough!" The Gliscor was surprised at what Evan said, but swooped to his side anyways. He was curious as to why Evan would call him back, just when things were getting interesting. "Wait, huh?" Olivia called out, standing awkwardly for a second. Jhen was also caught off guard, as even though he had taken a very significant amount of damage, didn't feel as though he was completely out of the fight yet. Nontheless, he shakily flew back to his trainer, the ice on his wing not really doing him any favors in that regard. The red-haired trainer blinked, and crossed her arms again. "So the battle's already over, then? Hmm. Well, at least it was pretty interesting." she said, seeming impressed. "I think I can see where Zach's respect for you comes from now. Nice job with the Ice Fang, you caught me off guard on that one." the eldest Seaton said, tipping her cap. "Kudos for getting my blood pumping." "Always a pleasure to let my Vlad show what he is capable of." Evan said, grinning tiredly as Vlad struck a pose in response. "Both pokemon performed well. I look forward to the day when that Vibrava is a majestic Flygon. Good match!" "Ehehe. Yep. That day might be a bit far off still, but it'll come. I have confidence in that." Olivia replied, chuckling as Jhen's eyes seemed to light up from that. She rubbed the Vibrava's head for a moment, recalling the Vibration Pokemon. "Thanks for the match. Maybe one day, those two will be able to have a full-on battle, going all out... Hmm. Yeah, I'd like that." the red-haired trainer contemplated, smirking. "Alright, you're off the hook. See ya later. Gotta heal my Pokemon up." she said, turning around and walking back to the Pokemon Center. "I'd like that too." Evan said, recalling Vlad as he turned back towards his two fellow Plasma agents. "I'd better get back to working with these two. 'Til we fight next, see ya," "Good work, Vlad." Evan thought happily. "Even when you aren't going all out, you still put on a magnificent show."

  15. IC: Olivia Seaton Olivia was caught off guard by Evan's reaction, and raised an eyebrow. She had prepared a small speech going over why she was displeased, but... Didn't seem like she'd get the chance to use it now. So the red-haired trainer thought over his words for a moment, putting a finger to her chin... "Alright. I had a practice match with Jenny, but that didn't exactly go well... I'll fight you, sure." she replied, crossing her arms. "You're supposed to be a strong trainer, right? Zach speaks highly of you in a lot of regards... If you really are that strong, that's something I'd really want to see." she said, seeming intrigued. "I mean, if Jenny's gotten as tough as she has, I wonder... How would you compare?"

However, she looked at the Metang, and back to Zac, sighing. "You do have a point about the speed thing... I really hope there's no catch here." the Ranger muttered, gently laying the injured trainer on the Pokemon's back. Lachina looked at her Pokegear again, and brought up the coordinates to the nearby hospital again. "These are the directions, since you probably didn't catch them before. I'm Lachina Adaon, by the way." she said, nodding quickly. "Pleasure to meet you." IC: Olivia Seaton Olivia looked over at Evan, and turned back to Zach. "One moment." she said, before briskly walking to catch up to the Ex-Hero, as he had already began walking with the newcomer. The red-haired trainer tapped Evan on the shoulder, and crossed her arms. "Hey, I don't think you've officially answered for dragging Zach away from me so quickly. Well, guess who's not happy about that still?" she said, raising an eyebrow. "You could have gotten more of a warning, that would have been nice... You really don't know how long it's been since I've been able to be around him regularly for any amount of time..."
