  1. So far my biggest absence has been 4 days when i went camping.
  2. The body was based off of the movie version of him, but I sort of see what you're talking about. Yeah, he's pretty simple, seeing as the original sketch was done in a matter of minutes. He's holding a chronicler's staff. Thanks for the comments guys, I really appreciate it!
  3. This is really good. i love the shading and the detail. The background looks good too.
  4. This is my flash fire entry. It is hand drawn and computer edited. I may do others, but I'm not sure.Takua
  5. Member name: Toa of GeekCategory: Matoran (Takua)Entry Url: http://www.brickshel...Takua/takua.pngEDIT: Here is my topic: http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showtopic=5936. Also, my name was listed as "Toa of Greek" instead of "Toa of Geek". If someone could update the entry list with these, I would appreciate it.
  6. Many of you may have seen my old topic, and some grreat comments have inspired me to improve my designs. Here are the changes that I made:All: Color fixes, head realignment and scaling, removing parts of legs and torso for a less cluttered look.Tahu: Changed mask to better fit his personality.Lewa: A dramatically improved Mask, my best piece of work to date, IMOAnd here they are!TahuLewaKopakaOnuaPohatuGaliGalleryWhen the gallery is public, you may want to open up the old ones for a side-by-side comparisonI hope you like these!
  7. @Empire: Wow, I got the boltbait pack, and it looks like the features will be very helpful. Thanks!@Aanchir: I actually am working on my drawing skills, and plan to post something on BZPower sometime, but I will difinitely continue editing. Thanks for the advice though.
  8. My Small Flying Vehicle has 158 views, but my brickshelf is rather new.
  9. Thanks for the advice, Empire. I used Paint.net. It's free to download. Just google Paint.net and you should find it pretty easily. It's like GIMP. It doesn't have quite as many features, but is a lot more reliable and easier to use.
  10. Thanks for clearing that up. I forgot that many 2001 characters were from the Maori language.
  11. Pohatu Phantoka: Yeah, he isn't great, but It's the best I could do considering his mask doesn't exist in movie form. As for Takua's mask, He wears the Pakari, same as Onepu and Onua, so it made sense to use it. I used Matoran masks for all the others, so I don't see how these are any different. I see what you mean when you say the bodies clash with the heads in some places, but I couldn't think of an alternative. Perhaps I'll try to edit the Nuva body. Thanks for the insight!
  12. Oh, I see what You're saying. They gave the toa random names, and then decided to name the prefixes after them. That makes sense.
  13. Ta = TahuGa = GaliKo = KopakaLe = LewaPo = PohatuOnu = OnuaThe above is the connection. It brings up some storyline problems, sure, but that is the original reason for naming them what they're named.Maybe the Toa Mata were named after the prefixes. That was the solution that was eventually decided, even though it was originally the other way around. That's not what I meant. I'm not asking about the connection between the prefix and the toa, but the connection between the prefixes ant their real life elements. For example, what real-life connection does Ta- havewith with Fire?
  14. here are some movie edits that I made. They were inspired by Kagha's Photoshop edits, but they are entirely my work.Gali MataKopaka MataLewa MataOnua MataTahu MataPohatu MataPohatu PhantokaOnepu
  15. This project is great. I remember sorely missing the older games, and to have all of them available in one place is almost too good to be true. Thanks for all the effort!
  16. I remember those! I remember seeing the toa metru ones when I first got into Bionicle and wanting them so bad
  17. I'm not sure where this goes, since it refers to sets and the story, so i apologize for any confusion. As for the topic, we know that all toa are the same size, but the sets are not. What size do you imagine toa to be? Mata sized? Inika sized? Somewhere in between? I imagine them to be Toa metru sized.
  18. I don't know how many people have noticed this, but most of the later element prefixes were based on a logical reason, for example, Fe- for Iron because that is it's symbol on the periodic table. However, I can't see any connection between the prefixes for Fire, Ice, air, earth, stone, and water. Any thoughts?
  19. I'm not sure about plasma, but I like the idea of Gravity matoran being more "resistant" to gravity, thus being able to jump higher, land softer, etc. I also like the idea of matoran of magnetism having an internal compass. I think Bo- would be a good prefix for matoran of the green.
  20. I see myself as a Tech savvy Ko-matoran who is slightly more talkative than other Ko-matoran. Slightly.
  21. The Ninjago and BS01 forums, The rpg forums since I'm not a part of them, and the reference center.
  22. Here are some of the songs I consider to be official songs for a particular year2001-2003: Soundtrack from MNOLG2004-2005: Hero2006: Move Along2007: Creeping in my soul2008:Gravity Hurts2009: Bye Bye Babylon
  23. This is really good. i love the mechanical feel. The torso is well designed.
  24. This is awesome. I love the unique design of the body, and the legs are cool. The use of HF pieces for the head is genius.
  25. This is really good. The pieces flow nicely. I like how It's detailed, and yet there are solid blocks of color. It sort of looks like something in star wars.
