  1. Woah, this has to be the first time one of your entries has no comments (though for obvious reasons)! Kinda funny!

I wish I lived anywhere remotely near Salt Lake, Lego events in stores are always fun. I've been to a couple in the past. By now you might know more about the events, as it's been a month since you posted this and BZP promptly went down, so is there any more you can tell us?

  2. Wait, you feel you've been conned? Why on earth would you feel that way? I got you such GREAT deals! I dare you to find cardboard coffee mugs labeled "#1 Customer" at your local Wal-Mart, they're a really rare item!

    Hey, you're right!

I'm sorry to have ever doubted you!

It's fine, to make up for any doubt I might have cast I'll give you a premium price on used toothbrushes next week when you get your allowance. Only $20 each!

  3. I need to get some custom Steampunk guns.

Steampunk has intrigued me ever since I first heard of it... Yeah, the guys who made my guns make a steampunk pack, which is basically copper versions of specific steampunk-possible guns. I might get it someday. =)

Also, very soon I will update this entry with a picture of my Lego gun collection as of Brickworld '09.

  4. Uploading to Majhost is easy. Just .zip them all to one folder and upload that one .zip file. Brickshelf and Majhost automatically unzip when they upload. ;]

Batch resizing I would love to know though. =\

I used the zip technique to put up my 200 photos from last year's Brickworld. I actually found a relatively easy no-nonsense batch resizer, but it seems to hate doing that many at once. I end up getting 40 instances of the process at any one time using as much CPU as possible (each instance is doing one photo, it cycles in new processes as old ones finish), and it ate up my entire 2 gig of memory, digging into virtual memory. It took about 10-15 minutes to do those 200 photos of the same size as these 400, and I don't feel like risking a bluescreen for a half hour straight using the same program. =P

  5. Secondly, I guess I just don't feel like working on Bionicle related stuff much when I'm getting bored with Bionicle itself.

*slaps you in the face because you didn't*

Therefore, after I pick the winner of the last edition (when I have time/feel like it) I will do one more picture to end the contest.

    Nooooooo! D:

*sniffle* I always look forward to those... Maybe you can keep doing it, but with help from me? I loooove taking funny screenshots of stuff or making funny pictures, I could probably help you out coming up with some.

    So, anyone have any suggestions?

    See avatar and banner.

    =P

  6. Only Lego convention anywhere near me is Brickworld, which I can't wait to go to again this year. I know all those other conventions are waaaay bigger, but they're also, y'know, 1,000 miles away from me either way.

  7. Last year I got around to installing Island (and my other old Lego games) and playing it all over again. Maaaan, that game has so many memories for me. I grew up with all those games!

I used to play Lego Loco obsessively trying to make either the perfect town, or the most cow and rabbit-infested town in the entire world, as well as trap cars in those little yard things so they beep to their little engines' content.

I think I found every single Easter Egg that existed in that game... Before I knew about web sites that tell you all of them, that is.
