Regarding Spanish soap operas, our Spanish 3 class watched one titled 'Rebelde'. All three seasons in one year.
The show wasn't that great as far as quality, but I found myself loving the music and characters nonetheless. I'd love to buy the DVDs and watch them occasionally.
Y soy rebelde!
Cuando no sigo a los demás!

I'm just confused why it was aired on the very random date of August 25th. They couldn't wait until Sept. 11?
-
Isn't it awesome?
Also, I'm thinking later in the series, he might get a girlfriend, what should be her name?
55555
Gamonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosakh, of course.
Or would that make too much sense?

Sharks and Minnows. . .ha. I'm pretty sure I used to play that game all the time. I just don't remember how.

I. . .um. . . got a red neck from inhaling smoke of burned poison oak!
None of those sound like they were exactly fun. I hate vomiting. Worst feeling ever.

Funny, I was about to say the same thing.
Of course, as another member put it: "It's not your post count, it's about making your posts count toward your post count".
Think I saw that in Sidorak the Hunter's blog.

Purple dinosaurs for the win! I loved the show growing up.
Unfortunately, not everyone wants to love everyone. Simple fact of life.
-
There's nothing wrong with that. I'm sure many people have grown up with Curious George or some other character.
I grew up with Miss Frizzle and her class in 'The Magic School Bus'. Nothing wrong with that. I'd still watch the show if it was on, it was fantastic.

Was the Houses of Healing song playing during that scene in the movie?
The music from Lord of the Rings is some of my favorite of all time. Are these 'Complete Recordings' still available?
@The Captain: The Breaking of the Fellowship is my favorite song on the 'Fellowship' soundtrack. I actually set my alarm so I wake up to it everyday.
Unfortunately, I don't own the other two soundtracks. Sad story.

Why what? Why people want to see illegal set images early? If so, don't know why. I, quite frankly, would rather be surprised by viewing high clarity images than be spoiled by low resolution pictures. Although, technically, one can be spoiled by viewing high resolution images, just as one can be pleasantly surprised be low resolution pixelly images.

I barely passed the permit test. Got eight wrong, which is the maximum.
Here I am almost a year later, my permit almost expired, and still no license. I hate how the required classes are two hours of random driving. So annoying.

Actually, I don't think there's nothing wrong with the one you have now.

Hotel California really surprised me, I have never EVER liked the Eagles, but this was quite good.
Blasphemy!
This old stuff (Beatles, Eagles, CCR, Beach Boys) is the only thing I like listening too. Anything too modern is just. . .bleh. While you're at it, you should listen to Journey. They're pretty good.
I don't like Bob Dylan either, I'm not going to lie.

That's all better than I can do. I still can't crop perfectly. Of course it's probably because I use the horrible and inaccurate 'select by color' method. Only works if what you want to crop is a vastly different color than the surroundings.

So there are people other than me that know what these devices feel like. . .
I had to eat nothing but liquid food for a few days after I got mine in. It was annoying as heck. I got used to it eventually, fortunately it never actually hurt.
Now just wait until you get the headgear. There's nothing worse.

It's a good thing someone (that someone being the Court Judge in New Zealand) is doing something about improper naming. I've seen two previous articles about babies with unusual names. One was about his parents naming their child 'Superman'. Another was about parents who wanted to name their child '4 Real' (They weren't allowed to do this due to the number '4' in the name). Actually, come to think of it, they might have been the same story, as I recall 'Superman' might have been the couples second decision. Can't recall at the moment.
They may think it's cute now, but I seriously doubt they want their child going through life having to be embarrassed by a name like '4 Real'. I'm all for names that are different and original, or mean something special to the parent (in English or other language), but there's a point where you shouldn't just name a kid the strangest thing you can think of. 'Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii' for example.

You can buy movies from iTunes before they leave theaters? And it's not illegal?

Alchemyst, gotta agree with what you said on just about everything. Schools great, friends are great, projects are bleh.
I have to do a Rude Goldberg project this year too. Won't be fun.

Aww, I totally answered this question in the talkback topic, too, before this was posted. Oh well. Didn't see this entry, either.
Anyway, I myself always found it interesting that only Molina and Ford appeared more than once in LEGO form. Sort of a small number for all the movie minifgures that have been made.
